You Took Her From Me
G-Dragon x Reader
Summary: A lawyer and a divorce. Can things be set right after losing your only daughter?
Warnings: Some angst, grief, fluff
A/N: I hadn't planned on a part two to this story but so many people requested it so here ya go. I hope you guys enjoy!
Requests are OPEN
Part 1
Tumblr media
Pt2- Don't Do This To Us
The room is dead silent. He lets you walk away, giving you space for a moment before his own anger gets the better of him. You lay in bed, tears silently streaming down your face when you hear the door fly open.
“You think I don’t blame myself?” he shouts and you jump from the sudden volume change.
“Do you think you’re the only one who lost a child? Who lost one of the most precious things in their life? News flash, y/n, she was my daughter too!” he walks to the other side of the bed to face you and you just look through him.
“There’s absolutely nothing you could say to me that I haven’t said to myself!” you glance up at his eyes, the pain and anger somehow both evident at once.
“I said what I said,” you croak and he sighs.
“I didn’t do it on purpose,” his voice is deflated and defeated.
“If you really want the divorce I’ll call a lawyer tomorrow.” He mumbles, he waits for a moment for a response and you stay quiet. He walks out of the room and a new river of tears flows from your eyes. How had life gotten this complicated? How had it come to this, your family was once so happy and complete. You, Jiyong, and his mini me. She was like him in many ways. Curious about the world, loved clothes, and would try to help him with his music. She was kind and compassionate, as much as a 3-year-old could be, she had a wanderlust in her eyes and a beautiful life ahead of her.
-
A few months later you’re in the lawyer’s office. Neither of you can look at one another, the tension suffocating from the last real conversation you had, which was the argument where you said you wanted this. Jiyong had been staying with a friend, letting you stay in the penthouse. He loved you with all his heart, so much that he was willing to grant you this divorce if you really wanted it.
“So in 3 days you’ll stand before a judge and, in the most basic of terms, he’ll officiate the divorce." The room is still filled with a thick silence.
“I have to say, you two are probably the easiest and quickest couple I’ve ever had,” the man tries to joke but neither of you laugh. Jiyong was willing to give you everything. The car, penthouse, even pay the bills if you wanted it. He’s still willing to take care of you, because he still loves you. He still wanted to be your husband.
“Ms. Kwon we need your signature here, and we’ll give this to the judge this afternoon.” You stare at the paper and steal a glance at your soon to be ex-husband. He’s biting his thumb nail, something you recall he had a bad habit of doing. You hesitantly pick up the pen and sign your name. The pen drops on the table with a little thud.
“You’re all set, feel free to take your time if you need it,” he gives you both a sad pursed lip smile. You both sit at the large table for a minute, not saying a word. You slowly gather yourself, picking up your bag.
“I’ve missed you,” he mumbles as you get up. You look at him. Frustration beginning to bubble.
“You’ll get used to it,” you say quietly through gritted teeth. You want to remain as civil as possible.
“Tell me what you want me to do, I’ll do anything.” He stands up and walks over in front of you, blocking your way to the door.
“What I want is for you to get your stuff out of the penthouse,” you breathe out trying not to look into his eyes. You know that if you do, you’ll see the heartbreak in his and it’ll draw you back in. It’ll keep you from moving on, something you feel you need to do.
He sighs, tears in his eyes that he tries to blink back.
“I’ll come over tomorrow,” he mumbles before making a b line for the door. You allow yourself a moment to breakdown before taking a breath and walking out after him.
-
That afternoon, you’re on the couch cuddled up with a pillow and blanket bingeing your favorite show, trying to momentarily get out of your head. You hear the door to your pent house open and shut. You freeze.
“Honey, I’m home,” Jiyong announces in a fake domesticated type of voice. You furrow your brows and throw the blanket off.
“What are you,” he walks in the living room with a suitcase and an empty box.
“I’m getting my stuff.” His answer is casual and simple. Like this was the plan the whole time.
“You said you were coming tomorrow.”
“You said till death do us part. Apparently, words mean nothing in this relationship.” He shrugs you off and walks into the bedroom collecting his clothes. You sigh. You missed having him home, missed greeting him, even when you two fought and had your issues after your little Ms. had passed, you still had his presence. Part of you, regardless of how irritating he could be, wanted to cling to the familiarity.
You walk after him into your bedroom and he’s silently picking his clothes out. You watch him for a moment.
“If you have something to say, say it.” He says without looking back at you, instead looking over a suit jacket. You stay silent, watching him go to pack it away. You notice something drop to the floor and you both look at it. He drops down to his knees and picks up the small bracelet. It fell out of the pocket. He smiles at the little token from your baby girl with a hard sigh. Tears brim his eyes for the first time since her death. He clutches it in his hands and you stare at him, waiting and watching. The room goes so silent you could hear a pen drop.
“Yah!” he lets out a blood curdling scream and the rest of his body slumps, his forehead is placed on the floor. You jump from the unexpected sound. He continues to yell into the carpet of the small walk-in closet. His eyes are shut as tight as they can go.
Jiyong’s body shakes from the violent emotions; one’s he wouldn’t let himself feel until now. He feels your arms slowly come around him for the first time in months and he leans into your touch. His screams continue and his face begins to turn red.
“Come here,” you mumble in his ear after letting him have a bit. You both slowly stand up and you embrace him fully. He continues to shake like a leaf, his emotions taking over.
“God, I miss her so much,” he sobs into your shoulder.
“I know, me too.” You let a few tears flow freely.
“Y/n,” he whimpers, “I can’t, I can’t do this.” You rub circles on his back trying to soothe him. You stand there for a few minutes allowing him to feel it, the anger, the grief, the disappointment, and self-loathing. It could have just as easily of been you who didn’t check her seat belt that day.
Truth be told, this is what you had been waiting on. It pissed you off how you never seen him grieve and you knew Jiyong well enough to know that he wasn’t doing it in secret. He never cried, he never got angry, he never expressed any emotion, and it made you slightly doubt if it was you who was stuck in grief or if it was him who wouldn’t do it at all. You feel a weight lift off you, almost like the wedge between the two of you was being removed.
“Oppa,” you whisper in his ear, he freezes for a brief moment. You hadn’t called him that in months. Always his name since the day you lost her. He pulls back from you slightly and you look up at him, smoothing some of his hair out of his face, noting the little red lines from busted capillaries under his eyes. You cup his cheek and he leans his face into your hand.
“Jagi,” his voice is barely audible. You give him a gentle smile at the nickname.
“Thank you,” you say with a slight crack in your voice.
“Thank you for grieving,” you hug him again and his grip is strong as he begins to let more tears flow. He grips on to you as if you’re the anchor in the sea of pain he’s losing himself in.
“I’m so sorry, baby,” he sobs again and you shush him. The clothes he was packing are now forgotten, the day you two have had has been long.
“Why don’t you stay tonight,” you hesitantly offer, “You shouldn’t deal with this alone,” you try to reason with yourself more than with him. He pulls back and searches your eyes. He nods.
You get dinner delivered that night, both of you being exhausted. You open the take-out containers in silence.
“Do you remember when she got so excited the first time she walked, she tried to run and she wasn’t moving, just staying in place like,” he starts to imitate your daughter’s silly movements by swinging his arms with a determined look on his face. This elicits a quiet chuckle from you.
“Or when she threw,” his eyes are filling with the salty tears once again.
“She threw her plate across the room as a toddler because she wanted spaghetti,” he smiles as a tear drips from his cheek somberly.
“Yeah, I do,” you smile and for the first time you didn’t feel the overwhelming urge to cry. You could smile and remember her fondly. After you eat, you decide to watch a movie. You slowly make your way over to him on the couch, sitting in between his legs with a blanket. You lay your head on his chest and he stiffens beneath you before relaxing once he sees you’re settled there. You find his arms and put them around you. He looks down at you.
“What are you doing?” His voice is shocked, caught off guard by the sudden closeness.
“I’m cuddling with my husband,” you smile to yourself, “Is that ok?” you look up at him and he makes eye contact.
“More than ok.” He nods with his heart fluttering in his chest. A familiar closness and warmth spreads through him. It’s not long into the movie you begin to feel yourself get tired. You drift off to sleep, but your then awoken slightly by your body being lifted gently and carried. Jiyong places you in bed and covers you up.
“Wait,” you mumble grabbing onto his wrist.
“Stay,” you adjust your head on the pillow.
“I’ll be in the living room,” he motions and you whine.
“In here.” He looks beside you with another taken back expression. He gets comfortable and slides into the bed next to you anyway. You turn to face him and you both are inches from one another’s faces.
“I’ve missed you,” he whispers as he takes in your features.
“I’ve missed you too,” you admit. His body floods with relief. He slowly snakes an arm around your waist, pulling you just a little closer.
“I don’t,” he begins and sighs. You know exactly what he doesn’t want.
“Me either,” you admit the quiet truth.
“I want you back home,” you say after a beat of silence. His smile cracks and he pulls you as close as he can and snuggles into your frame with a giant hug. He hides his face in the crook of your neck.
“I love you,” he whispers.
“I love you.” You tell him. He pulls back and for the first time in months, you both share a sweet meaningful kiss.

IT WAS A SCHOOL TRIP - p2
Summary: Mina and seunghyun meet unexpectedly during a school trip and form a special connection that changes everything.
pairing: choi seunghyun x reader
genre: romance - 2000s
warnings: fluff! (this is my first time writing for him, English isn’t my native language T - T)
note: [please if u saw any weird stuff just lmk]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
PT2
Tumblr media
The sun was beginning to set as Mina and T.O.P stepped out of the supermarket, blending back into the crowd of students making their way to their respective buses. The air smelled of gasoline and fried snacks from a nearby food stall, but Mina’s mind was still stuck on the bizarre yet amusing encounter she had just had with him.
“See you around, secret agent,” T.O.P had teased before heading to his bus, leaving Mina standing there with a lingering smile.
As soon as she climbed onto her own bus, her friends bombarded her with questions.
“Where were you?”
“Did you get snacks?”
“Wait… why do you look like you’re blushing?”
Mina waved them off, trying to focus on her seat by the window. She wasn’t blushing. Not really. Right?
The journey continued, but an hour into the trip, the teachers made an announcement:
**“The trip is longer than expected, and to make sure everyone is well-rested, we’ll be stopping at a hotel for the night.”**
Excited whispers filled the bus. A hotel meant freedom—at least for a few hours.
By the time they arrived, the sky was painted in hues of deep blue and violet. The hotel wasn’t fancy, but it was decent enough, with a cozy lobby and warm lighting. Mina shared a room with two of her classmates, who were already planning what to do before curfew.
“You wanna come with us? We’re thinking of checking out the convenience store next door,” one of them asked.
Mina thought about it but shook her head. “Nah, I think I just want to walk around for a bit.”
She wasn’t sure what she was looking for, but something about the quiet evening air called to her. She slipped on a hoodie, grabbed her phone, and snuck out of the hotel, her steps light against the pavement. She had no particular destination—just the thrill of being somewhere unfamiliar.
That’s when she spotted the small, dimly lit restaurant across the street. It wasn’t anything fancy—just a cozy, family-owned place with a few tables inside. Her stomach rumbled slightly. Maybe she could grab a quick bite before heading back.
She pushed open the glass door, and the little bell above it chimed. The warm scent of sizzling food hit her instantly. She was just about to look for a seat when—
“Are you following me?”
That deep, familiar voice.
Mina turned her head and saw him—T.O.P—sitting alone at a table near the window. He had a half-finished plate of food in front of him and a cup of soda he was lazily swirling with his straw.
Her heart skipped a beat.
“You wish,” she said, rolling her eyes, but she couldn’t help the smile tugging at her lips.
T.O.P grinned, kicking the chair across from him lightly. “Well, since fate keeps throwing us together, might as well sit.”
Mina hesitated for a second before sliding into the seat.
“What are you even doing here alone?” she asked.
He shrugged. “I don’t like crowded hotel rooms. And I figured I’d get some decent food before they trap us with cafeteria meals tomorrow.”
She laughed. “Smart move.”
They ordered a few dishes to share, and as they ate, their conversation flowed naturally. They talked about school, music, the most embarrassing things they had done in class. Mina found out that despite his laid-back and cool demeanor, T.O.P was actually hilariously awkward at times—especially when he talked about getting caught sleeping through an exam once.
The restaurant was nearly empty by the time they realized how late it was. The only sound left was the soft hum of an old radio playing some ballad in the background.
Mina leaned back in her chair, sipping the last of her drink. “You know, this is kind of weird.”
“What is?” T.O.P asked, tilting his head.
“That we just met today… but it doesn’t feel like it.”
He studied her for a moment before a small, almost secretive smile played on his lips.
“Maybe we were meant to meet,” he said casually, but there was something in his voice—something deeper.
Mina felt her face grow warm, and she quickly looked away, pretending to check her phone.
“We should probably head back before the teachers catch us,” she mumbled.
T.O.P chuckled but stood up, grabbing his jacket. “Yeah, wouldn’t want to get detention before the trip even starts.”
As they walked back to the hotel, the air between them felt different—warmer, charged with something unspoken. Their steps slowed as they reached the entrance, neither of them really wanting to say goodnight just yet.
Mina hesitated before finally looking up at him. “Thanks… for earlier. At the supermarket.”
He gave her a lazy smirk. “Anytime.”
And just as she turned to leave, she felt a gentle tug on her hoodie sleeve.
“Hey.”
She turned back, and for the first time, his usual teasing expression softened.
“I hope we run into each other again tomorrow,” he said, his voice quieter.
Mina felt her heart flutter, but instead of answering, she simply smiled—because something told her that they would.

CHOI SEUNGHYUN (T.O.P)

Tumblr media Tumblr media
KWON JIYONG (G-Dragon)
Por dentro, sería como un niño entusiasmado y feliz, realmente emocionado por la idea. Sonreiría cada vez que recordara que viajaría contigo, centrado más en el tiempo que compartirían juntos que en las actividades que podrían hacer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DONG YOUNGBAE (TaeYang)
*long sigh* Y'all can thank @m0th-h for this little sort-of T.O.P. scenario based on his idea of Dark Sun brainwashing/controlling Eclipse...
(Continue below the cut if you're interested in reading the full scenario.)
So, it's still been rattling around in my brain (thanks a lot, while I'm trying to write nice stuff...), and I was thinking about the greater details. I wouldn't make it Eclipse's wires being messed with. I imagine Titan would have taken note of everyone's wiring so that nothing like what happened to Solar would happen to anyone else. He would just see the wiring was wrong and make an opportunity to fix it.
But, if Dark Sun has his own Star, he could alter memories and plant new ones. That's most likely what he would do. So, now I've thought about the possibility that, every now and then, Eclipse would have some moment of clarity. Like, he would just be doing whatever he had been sent out to do, and then he would just stop like,
"Wait...This...this doesn't feel right. Something's wrong...This feels wrong! Why does this feel wrong?!" More clarity would come. "This IS wrong! Isn't it?!"
Then, Dark Sun would come up from behind and be like, "I see what's happened. Being around all of these people...it's made you confused." He would hold out his Star. "It's okay. I can remind you of what's true. Just look, and remember the truth."
After a minute of looking into the Star, having the false memories strengthened again, Eclipse would calm down. "Right. Right, of course. Thank you, sir."
Dark Sun would lightly lift the bottom of Eclipse's faceplate. "I'll always be happy to remind you of the truth, and to ease your mind when your thoughts became tangled. Now, get back to your work."
Eclipse would give a bow, as a servant would give to their lord, then go back to completing his orders.

Tumblr media
Choi Seung Hyun
T.O.P (BigBang)
Deck: Runic Tarot
Spread: Kinky*
Position - I The Magician
Okay, T.O.P is a dom in a relationship. He likes to have control over his life, he earned it through ups and downs and he’s not giving it up, not even to his lover. He’s likely to check all the affairs and have a good overview when it comes to daily life. He’s likely to check on his partner often and keep in touch with them. If it’s not possible through personal contact, he will use his phone to wish them good morning and goodnight and ask them about their day. He’s the kind to listen to his lover’s complaints about what got messed up in the day and he will give his advice even when he wasn’t asked for it. It might be irritating sometimes for his partner but he genuinely means well.
Libido - 7 of Wands
T.O.P is likely pretty defensive when it comes to his sexuality. He might think that people will try to nag him or correct him in this sense but he’s nobody’s puppet. He’s likely a very passionate man, though he won’t show right away. He needs to trust his lover before he reveals his more beasty side to them. T.O.P is likely to actually truly enjoy the period of conquest when he’s trying to impress his special person. They should play hard and not give up easily to T.O.P as the thrill is in the chase for him and he likes to try hard. T.O.P enjoys to pursue his love interest, to be teased and edged by them for a while before they surrender to his charms. And that’s not easy as T.O.P has so many charms it makes anyone drop to their knees at the very moment they spot him. Lol.
Turn On - X The Wheel of Fortune
T.O.P is likely to feel attracted to someone complex. A person that can’t be read easily, someone slightly enigmatic and mysterious. Someone who doesn’t say everything that’s on their mind and will keep at least some corners of their mind hidden from T.O.P so he can always explore. As said before, T.O.P likes someone with strong will and ability to resist him while being kind at the same time. T.O.P isn’t interested in cold manipulative people but he likes to be kept on guard. His lover shouldn’t let him slack off because that’s the same as if they told him they are not interested in him anymore.
Kink - Knight of Wands
T.O.P has a thing for being teased. While he’s a dom, his lover should be someone who doesn’t submit to him as such. He likes his lover to build the tension up, to attract his attention with their appearance and actions. It’s likely he will appreciate being flirted with subtly in public. His lover should be sophisticated and smart, not openly horny for him. They should slowly and gracefully turn T.O.P on, arouse him and tempt him. Once the tension is unbearable for T.O.P, he expects his lover to joyfully join in the heated and preferably loud love making, as the man likes to hear how well he’s doing.
Dirtiest Secret* - 6 of Cups
Not exactly a dirty secret but T.O.P is actually a family guy. He’s likely to make one fantastic father one day. And if he can’t be a father, he will be the coolest of all uncles. He cherishes the time spent with family and has a true gift in making babies calm and sleepy in his arms.

Skiing wasn’t really your thing.
Like... at all.
You’d never actually tried it, but you were basically the opposite of athletic, and the idea of hurtling down a mountain -- a slippery, snowy mountain -- on two thin pieces of wood was just... not something that tempted you whatsoever.
The idea of sitting in a cozy cabin with a warm blanket and a roaring fire and a steaming mug of hot chocolate, however... that picture was infinitely more appealing. So, when two of your very best friends invited you to spend a few days in a ski chalet they’d rented with their boyfriend and girlfriend, respectively, you agreed to tag along (even though being a fifth wheel was also something that didn’t tempt you).
This year had been pretty rough for you personally, though, so a vacation in a wintry paradise would do wonders for your mental health. Plus, your friends and their significant others did like skiing, so you would most likely be alone for a good majority of the day, free to snuggle up on the couch and drink as much hot chocolate as your heart desired.
But then one of your best friends, Cindy, told you that her boyfriend, Jiyong, was bringing his best friend, Seunghyun, along.
So... yay because you wouldn’t be the only fifth wheel, but also yikes because Seunghyun was super scary and you didn’t like him.
Okay, no, that isn’t entirely true.
You were just incredibly intimidated by him and were too shy to ever talk to him directly because, as mentioned, he was super scary. He cut a pretty imposing figure, his resting facial expression was quite serious, and he had a really deep voice that was just...
Scary.
And you were almost completely positive that he hated you.
So, yeah. As soon as Cindy told you he was coming, you were extremely tempted to chicken out and stay home.
“Oh, come on,” Cindy urged as she opened her trunk and reached for your suitcase -- because, yes, she had waited that long to tell you about the sixth guest on this trip. No doubt she knew you would want to back out as soon as you heard Seunghyun would be there, so she had told you at the last possible minute to prevent you from doing just that. “He’ll probably just come skiing with us, so you’ll barely see him!”
“Cindy!” you whined, resisting the urge to stamp your foot like a petulant child. “He totally hates me! Does he even know I’m going to be there?!”
“Yes, I’m sure he does.”
“So, you don’t know for sure that he does,” you retorted.
“I’m sure Jiyong told him you were coming when he invited him!”
“But you weren’t there when he did?”
“Y/N, get in the car,” Cindy ordered with pursed lips and a tone of pure irritation. “You already said you were coming, you paid for your share of the cabin, I bought two boxes of your favorite hot chocolate -- you are getting in this car.”
While Cindy was definitely not as intimidating and scary as Seunghyun, her ‘I mean business’ tone was still scary enough to make you open the passenger-side door and slide into the seat with very little hesitation.
Cindy thanked you sweetly when she got into the driver’s seat next to you after stowing your bag in the trunk, and then she pulled away from your apartment to go and pick up Liah and her girlfriend, Renee. The four of you would be driving up to this cabin together while, apparently, Jiyong and Seunghyun would drive themselves and meet you there.
As soon as Cindy got out of the car at Liah and Renee’s house and closed her door behind her, you heard Liah’s muffled voice ask, “Did you tell her?”
You immediately glowered at them through your window, and when Renee got into the seat behind you, you turned around to look at her.
“Was that really the plan all along? To not tell me that he was coming until the last minute when I had no choice but to still go?”
A smirk tugged at Renee’s lips, and you knew the answer immediately.
It really had been the plan all along. Your two best friends were way more scheming and conniving than you would’ve guessed.
“It’ll be fine,” Renee insisted in that smooth, calming voice of hers -- the kind of voice that actually made you believe her when she said ‘it’ll be fine.’ “It’s not like you’ll have to share a room with him.”
Even though she was right in assuming you absolutely would not want to share a room with him, the fact that she said it made you feel like you were being annoyingly juvenile about this.
I mean, you were an adult! Seunghyun scared you, and you would never even consider calling him a friend, but you were mature enough to be able to share a room with him if you had to!
...But you were glad you didn’t have to.
Instead of replying to her, you simply let out a soft sigh and turned back around, waiting for your two best friends to join you in the car so you could get going.
“I’m very proud of you, Y/N,” Liah announced as soon as she took her spot in the back seat. “I was fully expecting you to stay home once you found out.”
“Oh, come on!” you scoffed, your brow furrowing deeply as you whipped your head around to frown at her. “You don’t think I’m mature enough to handle being a little uncomfortable?”
“It’s not that you’re too immature to handle it,” Liah replied. “I absolutely think you’re mature enough to handle it. You just won’t like it handling it. Hate it, in fact.”
...And, of course, she was correct. Just because you would share a room with Seunghyun if you had to didn’t mean you would like it.
But you wouldn’t have to, so there was really no need to even think about it.
Thankfully, after Liah’s remark, the subject of your willingness to be around Jiyong’s scary best friend wasn’t brought up again. The four of you, instead, discussed the meals you would cook for each other (it had already been agreed upon that a different person would be responsible for dinner each night, and there were several full grocery bags in Cindy’s trunk at the moment), played a round and a half of the Alphabet game, and engaged in a heaping handful of sing-alongs.
You unconsciously kept an eye on Cindy’s GPS the entire time, watching as the hours until your arrival turned into minutes.
Why were you so anxious? Why was your heart starting to beat just a little bit faster with every minute passed?
I mean, probably just because you hated being in awkward situations, and you knew it would absolutely be awkward when you first got to the cabin. Basically, the greeting between you and Seunghyun would determine what it would be like for the two of you during the entire trip.
If he, for some reason, decided to be polite -- or even civil -- when he first saw you, then maybe you would be able to spend the next several days in some state of relaxation. But if he ignored and avoided you -- which was the most likely option -- then you would probably be walking on eggshells the whole time. Peering around every corner to make sure he wasn’t already in the room. Waiting until he left the cabin before setting up camp on the sofa for the day.
...Maybe you should’ve insisted on staying home. Because none of that sounded at all pleasant, and if a vacation was supposed to be one thing, it was supposed to be pleasant. You should be able to enjoy yourself! But if it was going to be awkward around Scary Seunghyun all the time, you weren’t going to enjoy yourself!
Ugh.
But it was definitely too late to back out now. The GPS was calculating your arrival in less than five minutes, and the time to ask Cindy to turn around and drive you home had long since passed. (Though, she wouldn’t have done it anyway, even if you’d begged her or pretended you were getting sick.)
Your stomach flipped over itself as Cindy slowed the car and pulled up to a fairly large, incredibly nice cabin, and it flipped yet again when you saw Jiyong’s car already parked in the driveway.
“Oh, wow,” Renee marveled as the car rolled to a stop behind Jiyong’s and Cindy cut the engine. “This looks fancy.”
“Listen,” Cindy began, her tone playfully defensive. “It’s not every day you get to take a nice vacation with basically every person you love. I wanted to go all out! I wanted it to be special.”
Your brow wrinkled slightly as you unbuckled your seat belt and opened your door, the snow crunching under your foot as you stepped outside. “Are you sure I paid enough for this?”
Judging by the price, you’d figured she’d picked out a quaint little cabin with bedrooms the size of a closet. You hadn’t minded that notion, of course. As long as you had a warm blanket for snuggling and a lamp for reading, you didn’t care how big your room was.
But this definitely wasn’t a quaint little cabin. It was a very nice house disguised as a cabin.
“Yes, you did,” Cindy assured you, though you didn’t believe her in the slightest. “Don’t worry! You’re going to love it. You especially, Y/N, since you’ll spend most of your time here.”
You opened your mouth to issue a rebuttal, but Cindy cut you off.
“Which I am not judging you for!” she assured you. “I wouldn’t have invited you if I didn’t think you would have a good time!”
You simply pursed your lips and headed back toward the trunk to retrieve your suitcase.
Once the other three girls had unloaded their luggage from the car, you lingered, slowly closing the trunk and allowing Cindy, Liah, and Renee to go into the cabin ahead of you. There was absolutely no way you were going to be the first to walk in since you knew Jiyong -- and Seunghyun -- were already there.
It was going to be uncomfortable enough seeing him for the first time; you certainly weren’t going to do anything to add to it.
So, you brought up the rear, carrying your grocery bags and suitcase in through the door and gently closing it behind you as you heard Cindy call out for her boyfriend.
Once you got inside, though, your eyes widened at just how nice this place was, and you very briefly -- very briefly -- forgot that you were not looking forward to seeing Scary Seunghyun.
But then you heard Jiyong’s voice calling out to Cindy, and when you shifted your gaze down the front hallway... There he was.
Okay, so, one thing you hadn’t let yourself think about since Cindy had told you Seunghyun would be here was that... he was actually really super handsome.
Like magnetically attractive.
Which was probably another reason why he scared you.
He was almost too attractive, y’know? Too attractive for his own good, and absolutely too attractive for you to be any sort of comfortable around him.
You averted your gaze as soon as you saw him, feeling your cheeks flush a little and your stomach flip a lot.
“How was the drive?” Jiyong asked as he took Cindy’s suitcase.
“Very uneventful,” she answered. “If you don’t count the sing-alongs.”
Jiyong chuckled a little and said, “Yeah, I’ve never been in a car with four girls before, but I bet it’s never boring.”
He began to lead everyone upstairs where, presumably, the bedrooms were, so you pushed the handle of your suitcase down to carry it rather than wheel it.
Just as you leaned down to take the side handle, though, you felt a presence suddenly appear at your side.
A rather imposing presence.
“Here,” Seunghyun mumbled in his incredibly deep and smooth voice. “I got it.”
“Oh --” you choked, the word getting stuck in your throat. You quickly cleared it and managed to murmur a “Thanks.”
He gestured for you to go up the stairs first, and by now, the rest of the group was already halfway up the staircase, so you hastily tiptoed up to join them.
“The two empty rooms are this one here,” Jiyong told you, nodding to the door closest to the stairs. “And that one down at the end of the hall. This closest one has a bigger bed, so...”
You quickly cut in and said, “So, Liah and Renee can take that one, and I’ll take the one down there.”
You had no need for a bigger bed, and it really didn’t matter where your room was located, so obviously, you would let your friends have it.
Seunghyun headed down the hall with your suitcase, and you avoided looking at Cindy as you hurried after him -- though you were extra careful not to get too close behind him.
“You’re a nicer person than me,” he muttered once the two of you had entered your bedroom for the next couple days. “I would’ve taken the other room.”
You frowned, your forehead wrinkling with confusion and distaste. “But I don’t need a bigger bed. There’s two of them and only one of me, so why would I --”
Seunghyun turned to look at you them, his lips pulled into a devilishly handsome smirk. “I’m just teasing.”
“...Oh.”
A low chuckle escaped his lips as he hefted your suitcase up on the bench at the foot of your bed, and -- thankfully -- he then turned to leave.
“Thanks again,” you forced yourself to blurt out, surprised to hear that your voice didn’t sound as awkward as you felt.
“Sure,” he mumbled with a nod. “And if you need anything, I’m right across the hall.”
Your eyes widened a little, and your gaze darted through your open door to the closed one just opposite.
That was his room?
“I mean, I don’t know what I could possibly do that you can’t do yourself, but... Y’know. The sentiment still stands.”
You just nodded and let out a strangled hum.
Seunghyun chuckled again and left, closing your door behind him. Moments later, you heard the door across from you open and gently shut.
And then you deflated.
You just now realized how tense you’d been, though you really didn’t know why. Seunghyun had been very polite to you!
Nice, even!
And yet... there was still something about him that just...
You didn’t want to say he rubbed you the wrong way because that wasn’t entirely true.
He just...
He just...
He put you on edge for some reason. And it was probably because of the whole too attractive thing, but... I don’t know. He just scared you, okay?!
But seeing him and interacting with him for the first time on this trip hadn’t gone nearly as badly as you’d anticipated, so hopefully that meant you could enjoy your vacation with the least amount of awkwardness possible.
Hopefully.

After the first evening and first full day of the trip, you realized just how dramatic you’d been about the Seunghyun situation.
It almost made you laugh now to think how you’d worried about it, imagining yourself tiptoeing around the cabin, peering around corners to make sure you wouldn’t be alone with him.
More than a bit ridiculous, really.
For one, it’s not like he was trying to make you feel awkward. He had no idea that you were so scared of and intimidated by him, and even if he did, he didn’t seem like the type to take advantage of it. He clearly didn’t mind teasing you, but you couldn’t imagine him purposely making you feel uncomfortable in his presence.
Plus, as Cindy has surmised, he had gone skiing with everyone else -- at least he had the first day, and according to the rest of the group, there was plenty to do around the resort.
So, you were pretty confident you’d get to spend the majority of your time here holed up in the cabin by yourself.
...You should’ve known better.
You had still been in bed when you’d heard the hustle and bustle of everyone leaving for another day on the slopes, and while you’d been slightly upset you hadn’t been down there to say good morning and good-bye to them, there hadn’t been anything you could do about it. You certainly weren’t going to run out in the snow in your pajamas just to see your friends off.
So, you’d simply splashed some water on your face and brushed your teeth in your en suite bathroom, stepped into your furry slippers and shuffled your way down to the kitchen for your usual morning cup of tea.
As soon as you turned the corner into the kitchen, though, you stopped suddenly, jumping a bit with startled surprise.
Seunghyun was sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal.
But... hadn’t you already heard everyone leaving?
He glanced up at your arrival, nodding once to acknowledge your presence and then simply turning back to his breakfast.
You cleared your throat gently and slowly continued your route to the kitchen.
“I thought everyone left already?” you said in a quiet, timid voice.
“They did,” he mumbled in reply.
You pressed your lips together as you opened the cupboard to retrieve a mug, waiting for him to explain why he was still here.
But he didn’t.
Of course.
Why would he make things easier for you?
So, you quietly closed the cupboard door and asked, “You’re skipping today?”
“I don’t mind skiing,” he replied, and even though you weren’t looking at him, you could tell that he had shrugged while speaking. “But it’s not like I love it. And being a fifth wheel wasn’t the most fun, so... figured I’d stay here today.”
“Understandable,” you sighed. You could certainly relate to not wanting to be a fifth wheel. You loved your friends, and you were more than happy that they were both so happy in their relationships... but being around them all the time did tend to remind you that you were, in fact, single.
“What’d you do yesterday?” Seunghyun asked, and for some odd reason, his question made your spine tingle. Not in a creepy way, though. You weren’t sure what kind of way it was, but it wasn’t a creepy tingle.
“I just hung out here,” you shrugged, filling up the tea kettle with water before putting it on the stove to heat it up. “Did some reading. Took a walk. Drank some hot chocolate.”
Which brought you to a very curious question: What was Seunghyun going to do here?
But you didn’t have enough nerve at the moment to ask him. You hadn’t even had your first cup of caffeine yet!
“Is that what you normally do for fun?” he asked with a hint of amusement in his tone.
Even though, by now, you were used to people making fun of your more tame lifestyle, you still felt yourself getting defensive.
“Well, I don’t particularly find the idea of hurtling myself down a huge snowy mountain fun,” you retorted, busying yourself by opening the drawer next to the stove so you could pick out your tea bag.
“Well, no, me neither,” Seunghyun chuckled. “I would much prefer going to an art museum.”
Your brow furrowed instantly, but you resisted the urge to look over your shoulder at him.
“Really?” you asked.
“Yes, really,” he laughed. “Why do you sound so surprised?”
“Because I am, I guess. I didn’t know you liked art.”
“Is there anything you do know about me?”
...He had a point.
“Well, is there anything you know about me?”
“You like tea.”
You did turn around then, though you found your slight annoyance had turned into slight amusement and the corners of your lips pulled into a tiny grin. “That’s cheating.”
“Is not.”
“I’m making tea right now. Of course I like tea. That’s like if I said one thing I know about you is that you like cereal.”
“Well, that is one thing you know about me. I do like cereal.”
“But that’s just inferring something based on an observation!” you chuckled. “That’s not knowing something. It’s an educated guess.”
Seunghyun raised his eyebrows at you, and that stupid smirk showed up on his lips again. That same devilishly handsome smirk, and it made you feel very strange.
“You’re fun at parties, aren’t you?” he murmured.
“I don’t go to parties,” you countered.
Seunghyun simply laughed quietly, shaking his head to himself and turning back to his cereal.
The kitchen was silent as you finished up making your tea, but you were quite surprised to realize it wasn’t an awkward silence. It’s just that neither of you said anything. You weren’t waiting on tenterhooks for him to say or do something. You were simply... making your tea.
Just as you finished pouring the boiling water into your mug, you heard the scrape of a chair across the floor.
“I’ll leave you to it,” he said in a soft, low voice. “Enjoy your day.”
“Thanks,” you replied, watching as he walked over to put his spoon and empty bowl in the dishwasher. “You, too.”
And then he went back upstairs. To do what? You had no idea.
But at least now you were able to drink your tea in peace.
...Except, as you sat down on the sofa in the adjoining living room, cradling the steaming mug in your hands, you found you couldn’t stop wondering what he was going to do all day. Would he stay in the house? If he left the house, where would he go? Down to the lodge? Would he ask you to go with him? If he did ask you, would you go with him?
Obviously, you didn’t know the answers to any of these questions.
But you did know that Seunghyun wasn’t quite as scary as he seemed. And you were fairly sure he didn’t hate you. At the very least, he was simply indifferent -- but indifference is much better than hate.
Tumblr media
After spending the morning and early afternoon reading -- with a few breaks to sit outside on the cabin’s back porch to admire the scenery -- your stomach had let you know in no uncertain terms that it was getting to be lunchtime.
You set your book down on the coffee table in front of you, swung your legs over the side of the sofa, and stepped into your slippers. And as you shuffled your way over to the kitchen, you realized...
You hadn’t seen or heard from Seunghyun since breakfast.
You... had actually almost forgotten he hadn’t gone skiing with the rest of your group and was, presumably, still here.
If he’d left, he’d done it so stealthily that you hadn’t noticed.
Which honestly wouldn’t surprise you. He was definitely the type of person who could just all of a sudden be standing next to you and you had no idea how or when he got there.
In fact... you paused, in the middle of reaching for the refrigerator door, and carefully looked over your shoulder to see if maybe he had snuck up behind you.
But just as your gaze fell behind you, you heard the sound of soft, thudding footsteps coming down the stairs.
Phew.
You quickly opened the fridge and stared inside, though you were acutely aware of the fact he was walking toward the kitchen.
A few moments later, you heard his approaching footsteps pause, and your heart paused along with him.
“Oh, hey,” he greeted, his voice as low and deep as ever. “Lunchtime?”
You hummed positively, your heart stopping yet again when he came to stand beside you, leaning one hand against the door of the freezer right next to you.
“I... was just going to make a sandwich,” you said, hearing a slight nervous tremble in your voice. Why? You hadn’t a clue.
“What kind?”
“...Peanut butter and jelly?” you replied. “There’s literally nothing else except the food for dinner, so...”
“No, that sounds good, I’ll do that,” Seunghyun agreed, and he moved over to a cabinet to get out two plates.
...What was going on?
You... and Seunghyun... were going to... make PB&J sandwiches together?
I mean, at least he hadn’t asked you to make his for him. That was something -- definitely a credit to him.
But, still.
You never in your life would’ve thought you’d ever be standing next to Scary Seunghyun in a kitchen, making sandwiches for lunch.
But that’s exactly what you did.
You stood next to Scary Seunghyun in the kitchen, and you made a sandwich.
And then -- if you can believe it -- you ate it. Together. At the kitchen table.
It was basically silent the whole time, but in your opinion, that was better than awkward small talk.
But then, as soon as Seunghyun popped the last bite of his PB&J into his mouth, he pushed his chair away from the table and murmured, “All right, let’s do this.”
Your brow furrowed immediately.
...Do what?
“What?” you asked, your gaze following him as he headed back into the kitchen. “Do what?”
“I don’t know about you, but I need a drink,” Seunghyun replied as he began to search through the cabinets.
“A drink?” you asked with a chuckle of disbelief. “It’s not even one in the afternoon.”
He shrugged in response before letting out a soft aha and reaching in the cabinet he’d just opened, his hand returning with a bottle of wine.
He was actually doing it? Getting a drink? For real?
“I’m sorry, is my company that bad?” you asked, again, with a chuckle of disbelief.
Did he really have to drown out his discomfort from being around you with wine?
“No,” he answered, and the smirk in his voice was so apparent that he didn’t even need to turn around and show you he was actually smirking. “I just want a glass of wine. Or two. I’m on vacation!”
...Okay, well, when he put it that way.
If you couldn’t drink at one in the afternoon on vacation, when could you?
“You sure you don’t want some?”
You bit the inside of your cheek briefly before pushing your own chair away from the table and joining him in the kitchen.
“I will pass on your wine, but I am going to treat myself to...”
You trailed off as you reached around him and took out the bottle of peppermint vodka you’d brought.
“And you were judging me for drinking this early?” Seunghyun laughed. “I’m not the one breaking out the vodka!”
“It’s for peppermint hot chocolate!” you defended.
You weren’t typically one to drink hard liquor straight, but a couple of splashes of peppermint vodka in your hot chocolate? You wouldn’t say no!
“Okay, that’s a lot more believable,” he said as his amused grin transformed into a lopsided smile.
“Cindy got my favorite hot chocolate -- the absolute best kind there is. Do you... want to try?” you asked, trying your best to make it sound tempting.
Seunghyun’s forehead wrinkled as his gaze darted between his bottle of wine and your bottle of peppermint vodka.
“My hot chocolate is precious,” you added. “This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I may never offer --”
“I’m in.”
He put his wine away and took the vodka from you, allowing you to retrieve two packets of hot chocolate and two mugs.
You were surprisingly... excited? And considering the thing you were excited about involved both Scary Seunghyun and consuming alcohol while the sun was still out, it was definitely surprising.
But, as you’d thought earlier, if you couldn’t do things like this on vacation then when could you?
After boiling some water, you artfully made two peppermint hot chocolates -- suitable for adults only, of course -- even opening the pack of candy peppermint sticks to use as both a stirrer and a garnish.
You and Seunghyun settled on the couch with your mugs, and as you curled your legs up and cozied up underneath a blanket, Seunghyun took his first sip.
You held your breath, waiting for his reaction.
There was absolutely no reason why you should want him to like the drink other than the fact that you had made it. But, still -- if he didn’t like it, it wouldn’t bother you in the least because you didn’t care about his opinion.
...Or so you told yourself.
Deep down, it had always slightly tormented you that you thought he hated you. Seunghyun was just one of those people who seemed so inherently cool without even trying, and the fact that he didn’t like you just... it was a little upsetting, okay? You would never admit it out loud, obviously, but it was upsetting!
On the outside, though, you still tried your hardest to give off the impression that you didn’t care about his opinion.
But when he raised his eyebrows and started nodding his head slowly, your heart did a little somersault inside your chest.
“Honestly, this isn’t half bad,” he murmured before taking another sip. “I’m not really a hot chocolate kinda guy, but... I would drink this again.”
You felt the corners of your lips tug up into a smile, but you did your best to suppress it so you wouldn’t let on just how happy and relieved you were that he liked it.
“I will take that as the highest of compliments,” you replied before lifting your mug to your lips and taking a sip yourself.
If someone had told you even just a couple of days ago that you would be willingly sitting on the couch with Seunghyun drinking your specialty peppermint hot chocolate... I mean, you definitely wouldn’t have believed them. And you certainly wouldn’t have believed them if they’d told you that you would’ve enjoyed yourself.
But... that’s exactly what happened.
The two of you sat on the couch together, drinking your specialty peppermint hot chocolate, talking about art and work and life... and you enjoyed yourself.
Seunghyun even opened one of his wine bottles after both of you had finished your hot chocolate, and although you weren’t one to have more than one drink at a time, you accepted.
He had been going on and on about how incredible his wine collection was, so you wanted to see what all the fuss was about!
Halfway through your glass, though, you knew it had been a mistake. You weren’t used to this much alcohol, and you’d always been a lightweight (hence the reason you usually didn’t have more than one drink at a time).
The thoughts that were crowding your brain began to make their way to your mouth.
Always a bad thing.
Always.
“Y’know,” you murmured as you gazed pensively at your glass. “I’ve always thought you hated me.”
“What?” Seunghyun replied with a low chuckle.
“But if you’re sharing your wine with me, that’s a good thing, right? You must not really hate me.”
When you shifted your gaze up and over to Seunghyun’s face, you saw his incredibly handsome features in an incredibly confused expression.
“Why did you think I hated you?” he asked quietly.
You shrugged. “Because. You never talked to me, and you’re so cool, and I’m so not. I just... thought you hated me.”
One corner of his lips tilted up into that smirk of his, and he said, “I always thought you hated me. You never talked to me, either, and you always acted like you didn’t even want to be in the same room as me.”
“Because I thought you hated me!” you laughed.
Seunghyun shook his head, and your heart began to beat just a little bit faster.
“I’m just...” you began, clearing your throat gently to get the words unstuck from your throat. “I’m just shy. And you’re very intimidating.”
“That’s funny because I was about to say the exact same thing.”
You jerked your head back in surprise. “Excuse me? I am the exact opposite of intimidating!”
“Now that I’m talking to you, I can see that,” he agreed. “But when you’re just standing or sitting somewhere quietly... I always thought twice about approaching you.”
“That’s probably just my Resting Bitch Face,” you nodded.
Seunghyun let out a low, deep laugh, and the sound of it made your stomach do flips.
“You... do kind of have Resting Bitch Face,” he agreed, though to his credit, he sounded guilty enough. “But... it’s still... a really nice face.”
You had just been about to take another sip of your wine, and you were now entirely glad you hadn’t. You absolutely would’ve choked and spit your wine out if you’d actually had the chance to take a drink.
...Because what on Earth had he just said?!
“I’m sorry, what?” you asked, your words slightly slurred and breathless.
“Your face,” he repeated. “Is really nice.”
You blinked at him.
For quite a long time, apparently, because Seunghyun let out a soft chuckle, and you jumped at the sudden sound.
“You’re beautiful, okay?” he said with a smirk. “You’re beautiful, and the only reason I came on this trip is because I knew you would be here.”
Your mouth fell open.
“I’ve wanted to get to know you for a while,” he continued. “But I always thought you hated me, so I figured this was the perfect chance to actually try and talk to you.”
Without really knowing what you were doing -- because the information you’d just learned was completely doing your head in, and you didn’t really know anything at the moment -- you leaned over and set your wine glass down on the coffee table. And then you turned to look at Seunghyun more directly.
“Are you serious?” you asked, narrowing your eyes a bit suspiciously at him.
He simply nodded and let out a positive hum.
“You... came on this trip because of me?”
He nodded again.
You frowned, the corners of your mouth curving downward deeply as you stared at him.
And then, after a few moments of silence, you felt the word vomit coming up.
There was no way you would’ve said any of this normally, but the alcohol currently in your system and the fact Seunghyun has just said all of that had, apparently, done wonders to ease your mind and loosen your lips.
“I always thought you hated me, and to be honest, I didn’t want to come when I heard you would be here because I thought you hated me. But, like, I’ve always known objectively that you were really attractive and good-looking, but you’re just so mysterious and scary. I even called you Scary Seunghyun because of how intimidating --”
Seunghyun leaned in -- so quickly you didn’t see it coming -- and cut you off by capturing your lips in a kiss.
Unsurprisingly, you let out a soft, startled squeal.
But... the kiss was already so magnetic and overwhelming that it didn’t take long for you to melt into it, accepting his lips against yours and returning his passion.
Your head began to spin, your heart was racing, your stomach had jumped up into your throat, and even though the kiss had been going on for less than ten seconds, you felt your lungs start to burn.
When Seunghyun pulled away, you let out a soft but deep exhale, and he chuckled quietly as he brought up a hand to tuck some hair behind your ear.
Despite the fact that you were feeling incredibly shy right now, you forced your gaze on him, looking him in his deep brown eyes.
“Did... that just happen?” you whispered.
He nodded, now cradling your cheek in his palm. “And it can happen again if you want.”
Oh, you absolutely did want.
But... your conscience was tapping on your shoulder. Incessantly.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea... We’ve been drinking, and --”
Seunghyun, again, cut you off. But this time with a laugh instead of a kiss.
“I’m not even close to being remotely tipsy,” he assured you. And then his lips morphed into a smirk. “Wait, are -- are you?”
“I’m a lightweight!” you retorted defensively.
Seunghyun leaned back a little, letting his hand fall from your face.
Your cheek felt cold now, and you almost immediately reached out to take his hand and put it back on there.
“I’m not drunk,” you added. “But I definitely probably wouldn’t have said any of that if I didn’t have some alcohol in me.”
“So, you’re saying if I had gotten you drunk earlier --”
“I’m not drunk!” you insisted, tamping down an amused grin. “But also... if you had just said something earlier, I may have... I can understand why you didn’t, though.”
“For the same reason you never said anything.”
“So... why now?” you asked, your voice just barely above a whisper as Seunghyun’s thumb gently caressed your cheek.
He searched your face for a moment before lifting his shoulders into a shrug. “Guess it was the alcohol.”
You rolled your eyes playfully... and then you leaned in for another kiss.
It was weird -- beyond weird -- to be kissing Seunghyun.
Scary Seunghyun. The guy you’d avoided for so long because you’d thought he’d hated you.
But as weird as it was... it was also nice.
Very, very nice.
“Does this mean you’re going to stay here with me every day? When everyone else goes skiing?” you asked, your lips still brushing over his as you spoke.
“That depends,” he murmured.
“On what?”
“Will you start making me lunch every day?”
“No.”
Seunghyun chuckled, his voice so soft and deep that it sent a tingle down your spine -- and this time, you could tell it was definitely a good tingle.
“Well, I’ll still stay with you. If you want me to,” he murmured.
And... you were kind of surprised but kind of not surprised that, despite all of your former misgivings and hesitation about him... you did want him to.
And that wasn’t the alcohol speaking.

Tumblr media
You’re sitting in the makeup chair when you feel a pair of hands delicately touch your shoulders. You look up from your phone in the mirror and you see his big dark eyes and light brown hair in the mirror.
“Well, it took ya long enough, J,” you say with a teasing smile as you get up and hug him. You and Jackson Wang had been working together for the last 4 months on a song for your album and today you were shooting the video.
“Always a pleasure,” he says genuinely and returns your hug. Were you and Jackson together? No. Were there rumors about such things? Absolutely. The song being about love didn’t help matters. You guys had known each other briefly through mutual friends but when you had the idea for the song, you knew his vocals would take it to the next level.
“Jackson, Y/N!” the director shouts and you two spring into action with the video. The video itself was pretty intimate; the two of you on a bed tangled together in the sheets, touching, be all close and having no sense of personal space whatsoever. But, Jackson is a professional.
“So if I put my hand here,” he’s talking to the director and looks at you and you give him a nod before he touches your hip.
“And then I can slide it up like this,” he does the motion and pulls you closer to him.
“Yeah, that’ll work perfectly,” your director says and you roll with it.
“Let’s move on to the kiss,” the director announces after that scene. You blush as the time comes for the practical make out session that’s needed for the scene. Jackson was obviously cute, and him so being so respectful and kind? That only made it worse.
You can’t help the nervous laugh as you two are placed together and he starts smiling at you.
“You ok?” he asks genuinely, “We can figure something else out if we need to, find another way to,” you put your hand on his chest to stop him.
“I’m fine, seriously. Just don’t eat my face,” you wink at him with a chuckle. He gives you a gorgeous smile while shaking his head.
“Might be hard, you’re lookin extra good in that outfit,” he subtly looks you up and down. You two had a flirty relationship, but both of you knew it wouldn’t really go anywhere. The scene commences and you lock lips passionately and for a brief moment you forget its for a music video, that is until you hear the director call cut and you both slowly separate, a slight blush on both of your cheeks.
“That was great, guys. We’ll pick it up tomorrow!”
The video is done after a few days and the album dropped four months later. Your adventures continue with a world tour together, but tonight you were performing at the infamous MAMA awards. Since you two were doing a love song it was known that you would have to kiss for the sake of the performance.
“Look, people love us together,” you smile as you show him a picture you posted with a bunch of likes. He smiles as he clicks on the comments.
“This isn’t helping the dating rumors ya know,” he winks at you playfully and you roll your eyes.
“Us kissing every night doesn’t either, not to mention neither one of us have confirmed or denied anything. Besides, who we go out with really isn’t their business.”
“Ever since you made headlines with G-Dragon though, they think it is,” he corrects you.  You raise your eyebrows with a sigh that confirms he isn’t wrong.
You and Jiyong had been together 4 years, until the beginning of this year. Schedules got in the way, and Ji had admitted to kissing another woman at a party when he was drunk. It was a one-time thing and for a while you were able to move past it, but eventually, everything came crashing down.
“How could you still not trust me?” he shouted. You were in tears, your nerves were shot and honestly you didn’t want to have the argument.
“You were all over her, Ji. Tell me I’m lying! You kissed another woman before, it’s not like you couldn’t do that and more,” your voice was bitter and weak from tears.
“Oh my god, are you ever going to let it go?” he looked annoyed, he looked weak and desperate to escape the mistake that played through your mind more than you cared to admit. You loved him more than anything, more than life itself practically. But who was he to tell you how long it took to heal? Who was he to say that he atoned for what he did just because of a few ways he tried to make it up to you. Girls were constantly all over him so it wasn’t like he was in short supply. It had caused you to feel insecure, regardless of whether or not he was drunk.
The two of you stayed silent, deafeningly silent, until Ji finally sighs and rubs his temple with his fingers.
“I can’t do this anymore,” he mumbles, “I can’t keep paying for this when I think I’ve proven I’m not that person,” his eyes are cold, depleted of life. It broke him to do this, but he didn’t see any other way.
“We’re done,” he said before walking out of your house with nothing more than a kiss to the forehead.
“Earth to Y/N,” Jackson calls out and you shake your head pulling yourself out of the intense flashback.
“Huh, oh, sorry,” you sheepishly rub the back of your neck.
“Let’s practice one more time,” he takes your hand helping you stand up.
“Ji, have you seen this?” Taeyang was over at his house and pulled up the love song you and Jackson put out.
“Hmm?” he glances away from his phone and furrows his brows at the video. He see’s the two of you kiss on screen and he feels, that pang of jealousy. He’s seen the video before, he seen it the day it came out, actually. But he didn’t tell anyone. He didn’t want to think of it.
He hadn’t seen you since that night, not in person anyway. On TV shows and award ceremonies, he would watch, quietly support you and your career, even liking the first picture or two you posted of you and Jackson.
“They are performing tonight at the MAMA awards, so you’ll probably get to see her,” Taeyang calls out as he heads to the kitchen.
“She’s going to be there?” His voice is rushed, excited almost.
“Yup, we better go too, we’ll be late.”
You and Jackson are at the venue preparing for the show, hitting the choreography perfectly multiple times.
“OK, we gotta get dressed,” you say as you two come out of each other’s embrace
“We got this in the bag,” you both high five and he brings you in for a hug.
“You should really layer a little more deodorant,” you say with a giggle. He sniffs his shirt and makes a twisted face.
“Yeah, sorry about that,” he laughs as he jogs off stage. As you walk off to go to the dressing room you stop as your breath hitches in your throat.
Ji-yong laughs as he feels someone stop and stare, he looks away from his manager and he spots you. His smile fades as he takes in your shocked face.
It’s still as beautiful as the first day he met you. He gives you a small wave and smile and you can’t move. His gaze is friendly and lingers for a moment. He starts to walk towards you, until he see’s Jackson come up behind you with his hand resting on your back. You look up at him directly and he can see the smile on your face when you look at him.
He feels the aching jealousy well up inside him but he pushes it down. You nod your head at something he says, and Jackson flits his gaze to Ji before giving a pursed lip smile and dragging you off with him in another direction.
“What could she possibly see in him?” Ji yong asks out loud not really expecting an answer.
“Hyung, did you really think she wouldn’t,” Ji-yong shoots Taeyang a glare, “Move on?” he finishes carefully.
“It’s been 8 months,” he tries to be gentle with Ji’s feelings, but the sting is too much. Jackson Wang was in a place he was supposed to be in. One he’d still be in most likely if he hadn’t of screwed up.
“Still fucking stings,” he grumbles. Taeyang sighs and gives his friend a hug.
“You both,” he pulls back and looks his friend in the face, “Need to move on. It’s time.” He tries to encourage him, tries to show him it’s healthy to move on, but the way Ji-yong loved you, despite his mistake, he was sure he’d never love anyone the same way.
“It’s not that easy, hyung.” He sighs as he sits down for the stylist to do his hair.
“She was everything, my muse, my rock, my reason for breathing. There were days I only got out of bed because I knew I would see her and that it would help make my day better,” he remembers fond memories as he talks to Taeyang about you. One of you and him riding the ferries wheel and getting stuck on top, that’s where your fist kiss was. When you accidently spilled ice cream on your top and he gave you jacket to cover it. When you’d both grow bored at parties after a little while and want to leave to just spend quiet time at home. He missed the way your touch made him feel like everything would work out, the way you made him feel like he was enough for exactly who he was. He sighs as he finishes getting ready for the show.
“Ok, are you ready for this?” Jackson asks you with anticipation.
“Absolutely, just don’t kiss me with tongue tonight,” you swat his arm and he laughs.
“No promises,” he winks and kisses your temple. You both get into position and the song starts as the lights go up. You follow the normal dance routine, spinning and swaying your hips to the beat, and kissing at the end of the song.
As the song is performed Ji can’t help but watch from the side of the stage, the way your body moves so gracefully and how it fits to Jackson’s so well when he had to wrap his arms around you, but it wasn’t the perfect way it fit Ji-yong’s. No, your body wouldn’t fit to anyone else’s the way it did his. He noticed the happy smile on your face, only noticing it falter when your eyes locked as you look his way.
The song ends and the lights go back down. You and him rush off stage and as soon as you are out of view you jump into his arms, adrenaline running high. He catches you with a huge smile on his face and he kisses your cheek sweetly. Ji-yong watches just off to the side and he rolls his eyes. He walks past you and you catch him out of the corner of your eye, his face deadpan.
You stay to the side of the stage to watch him perform. As he looks off to the side, he catches you watching, swaying your body to the music and nodding your head. He gives a half smile your way and you return one. His performance ends and he runs off stage he takes his mic off and before he can run to you, Jackson once again is in the place he wants to be, by your side.
“So, I was thinking, we could go down to the club and celebrate,” Jackson’s excited nature was infectious.
“Yeah, that sounds great,” you glance at Ji-yong who’s giving you a glare again and you furrow your brows at him.
“We’ll leave in a few, get changed!” He runs off to get his stuff together and you go to walk off, but before you can you feel a hand around your wrist pulling you back. You look back and see it’s Ji-yong who has an unreadable expression on his face. You look at each other for a moment.
“I really need to talk to you,” he pleads.
“I,” you look in the direction Jackson went and back at Ji who looks slightly hopeful you’ll stay.
“I can’t,” you say tearing your arm away. He lets you go and for a moment lets you walk away before following you.
“Y/n,” he catches the door to your room. You look over at him, he still takes your breath away, the way his hair clings to his forehead from the sweat, the way he looks at you with his dark eyes, the way his clothes somewhat soaked with sweat cling to his body.
“What, Ji? I have somewhere to be, Jackson isn’t going to wait on me forever,” he scoffs and looks off to the side, mumbling something to himself.
“You want to share with the rest of the class,” you sass him.
“Not really,” he sasses back. You roll your eyes.
“I’m changing so at least shut the door. He walks in and shuts it.
“I meant with you on the other side of it,” you shoot him a glare of annoyance.
“It’s nothing I haven’t seen, held or tasted before,” he smirks and you roll your eyes with a sharp exhale.
“Whatever,” you pull your top off your head and his eyes go directly to your body, not in a sensual, sexual way, but in a way that he’s curious. He notices you’ve put on a just little weight in the last 8 months and you instinctively wrap your arms around your torso.
“Can you not, stare,” you pause looking away from him, “at me,” you hear his footsteps come closer and he lifts your chin with his thumb and index finger.
“You’re beautiful,” he slowly reaches for your arms to pull them away and he’s inches from your face.
“Ji-yong,” you put a hand on his chest pushing him back slightly. His eyes flash with hurt before he recovers.
“Be honest with me,” he says standing back further as you find a different shirt. While you’re slipping it over your head you hear him ask, “Does he touch you better than I did?”
“What? Who?!” You all but shriek.
“Your little fling,” he motions his hand as you pull the shirt over your head you take off your pants next and put on some comfortable leggings.
What ‘fling’,” you ask bewildered by his audacity. He rolls his eyes, saying his name makes him feel ill.
“Your little affair with Jackson Wang, y/n, I know about it, and so does the rest of the world, besides with the way you were sucking face out there, you don’t try to hide it.” You can see his jealousy and you quirk a brow at him. You decide to have a little fun at his expense. After all if he’s going to be nosy and a jerk at the same time, why not have a little fun.
“What Jackson and I are, or aren’t,” you pause and stare at him directly into his eyes, “doing is none of your concern. You left me, Ji, who I’m with now is none of your business.” You strap on a pair of sandals and walk out the door leaving him standing there.
“Jackson,” you call out and race to him. You can feel Ji-yong watching you so you slip your hand in Jackson’s as you walk off.
At the club the music is loud and the drinks are good, but you start to let your mind wonder back to your ex-boyfriend.
“What are you thinking about,” Jackson yells over the music as he see’s you staring into space.
“Ji-yong,” you huff.
“He nods his head understandably. He heard about all of it, multiple times, and he knew you still loved him.
“You wanna dance?” His offer is intriguing and you decide it’s better than sitting there thinking of the guy who broke up with you. As you and Jackson dance you happen to look over your shoulder and see that face that makes your knees weak.
“Holy shit,” you yell and Jackson notices your body tense as he looks at you concerned.
“What?” you point to Ji-yong as the answer to his question.
“Go talk to him.” He tries to push you forward.
“No, he was a dick.” You pout. He nods and walks over to Ji-yong for you. You watch as he gets closer, and even buys your ex a drink.
“Listen, man, I don’t know what you’ve been told, but me and your girl,” you see him gesture to you, “We ain’t together.” He throws back a shot and so does Ji.
“She isn’t ‘my girl’,” he corrects solemnly.
“Could’ve fooled me. She talks about you constantly,” he chuckles and Ji-yong quirks his brow. Jackson knew you’d either thank him or kill him for this, but he wasn’t worried about that right now.
“She does?” he looks over to you, seeing you dance alone.
“Oh yeah, how bad she misses you, wishes things would’ve been different.” He nods his head and looks down at the bar.
“So what’s with the rumors and the kiss and,” Jackson nods interrupting him.
“We did the song together and just became close friends. As far as the kiss, management thought it’d be good for the song if we kissed like in the video. We’re completely platonic though.” He downs another shot, Ji-yong decides not to, he wants his head clear when talks to you.
“Go get her, man,” he encourages and Ji-yong nods his head as he makes his way to you. He slides in behind you while you dance and the intimate smell of cologne and cigarettes wafts to your nostrils. You feel his hand on your hips as he moves with you.
“Can we talk,” he asks in your ear and you just keep dancing, ignoring his words but not his touch, you bring his hands around your torso so he encapsulates you.
“Jagiya,” his voice is soft, sultry even, and once the music ends you sigh and turn to face him.
“Can I please talk to you,” you see Jackson at the bar smirking at you. You give him a half smile as you find an area in the club away from all the people.
“What is it,” you don’t know how else to ask.
“I miss you,” he’s straight to the point and you didn’t expect that.
“Ji,” you sigh.
“Look, I wasn’t planning on telling you, but I seen you with him tonight and I hated it. He had you the way I should, the way I did.” He steps closer to you; you back up hitting the wall. He closes the space, your mouths just inches apart. He’s intoxicating, the way he looks at you, smells, and just the feeling of his body near yours is electric.
“He kissed you the way I did, the way I still want to,” he mumbles as he caresses your cheek.
“Not really,” you utter barely above a whisper.
“Hmm,” he asks like he doesn’t understand.
“He didn’t,” you look into his dark, beautiful eyes, “kiss me the way you did. It wasn’t the same passion or love. It wasn’t the same feeling I got with you.” You feel your cheeks blush as you confess to him.
“His touch,” you runs your hands over his arms that are locked onto your hips now,“Isn’t the same. Its not as electrifying.” You look at him through your lashes.
He looks relieved.
“So, you really aren’t with him?” you shake your head no.
You bring your forehead to his and whisper to him, “I’m not with anyone, I’m yours Ji-yong, I always have been,” and before any other words can be said his lips are on yours, smoothly moving in sync and he pulls your impossibly closer as you fist his shirt.
“Aegiya,” he practically whimpers when you separate.
“I need you to come home.” You smile at his confession.
“Promise me something,” you say cautiously.
“Anything,” his desperate eyes search yours.
“You’ll give us time to rebuild trust and be patient with me,” you’re asking more than telling.
“As long as you want to trust me again, I’ll prove you can.” He smiles.
“Then lets get out of here,” you grin as he takes your hand and leads you out of the club.

Insecurities and Football Teams
Fandom: BIGBANG/ Choi Seung Hyun x Reader
Warnings: Body image issues/body dysmorphia, implied sex (no actual smut)
Author’s Note: You could technically read this without reading the Nannyverse first, but it is set in that world. Also, I’m using the term ‘football’ here as in the international word for soccer, not American football.
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. This story contains fictional representations of real people. None of the events are true. This is from an American standpoint, so some of the situations may not happen the same way they might in Korea. I make no money from the writing of this fictional work.

People assumed Seung Hyun was fit. Given how active he appeared to be with fans, doing CF's with athletic wear sponsors, it seemed only normal that people would presume so. Plus, he was usually jumping from recording to dance practice, jet setting all over the world for his art and his acting... how could someone not have a trim figure when they were moving around all the time?
He also wore slim fitting clothes every day he was out of the house, making sure to let paparazzi capture all his flattering angles, so that everyone saw how trim and lean he seemed.
Seung Hyun let the world assume he was still a young, buff idol like he was in his 20's. It was just as good for his ego as much as his brand.
Times had changed though. Seung Hyun was a dad.
He loved his life, but keeping the physique he used to have felt impossible when balancing a music career, the twins, and his marriage... not to mention his passion for art. He felt stressed. And that meant, more often than not, he sought comfort from your amazing cooking and the warmth of your shared bed.
One day, when his schedule was miraculously free, he decided to stay home and sleep. And, after what seemed like the best nap of his life, Seung Hyun felt like a shower was in order. As he began to strip off his clothes, he caught sight of himself in the mirror and stared blankly at the reflection before him. Being so busy, it felt like the first time in a long time he'd actually noticed what he looked like naked.
Seung Hyun glared at himself in the full length mirror, shrewdly assessing what he saw. He took in his body shape and sighed in defeat. He had tried his best to block out the weight gain and honestly it wasn't horrible, but you could notice a bit... especially so with no clothes on to hide away his imperfections.
He'd been avoiding it for ages, not wanting to admit that the classic "dad bod" had caught up with him, but his fears were confirmed just by looking at it. His eyes focused in on the soft pooch that seemed to taunt him, and he grunted grumpily.
Every image of himself out there for the public was sharp, slim, and desirable. Day after day Seung Hyun presented the ideal version of himself, who he was when he first started, and that's all anyone (except you and his band mates) ever saw. Every day he squeezed into a button down shirt & slim, body hugging pants. He held himself up straight and tall so that was the image that cemented itself forever in the minds of the public. He couldn't lose that image... if he did, it could destroy him. In his business, image was everything.
Standing in front of the mirror, he turned this way and that, trying to find some optical illusion that would make the imperfections go away, but all he found was harsh reality. He poked gently at the slight roll of his stomach, watching his fingertip disappear as the skin folded around it. Seung Hyun hated what he saw. He felt weak and a mockery of the reputation he'd worked tirelessly to build...he saw someone unworthy of respect.
And love.
Seung Hyun's struggles with his body weren't anything new, but the deep roots of insecurities he'd worked very hard to ignore were no longer mere shadows in his mind, but fully fledged demons. He was soft & squishy, and he hated it. And if he hated it, then...
Seung Hyun cursed softly under his breath.
He wasn't buff, bold T.O.P with a body women swooned over. He was chubby dad bod T.O.P, trying to make his marriage work, take care of his kids and be an international superstar... all at the same time.
Did you even see him as attractive anymore?
All the negative thoughts swirled around his head as he carried on intensely starring at himself.  He didn't even notice his wife walking in the bedroom.
“Hello handsome.” you smirked against your husbands neck as you kissed him right at his pulse point.
You wrapped your arms around his middle and propped your chin on his shoulder, locking eyes with Seung Hyun in the mirror.
He leaned backwards into your comforting embrace and sighed fondly, he still got a butterfly feeling in his stomach every time he felt your hands on his skin.
7 years of marriage and still going strong.
“What are you doing?” you asked as you took in your husbands figure in the reflection of the mirror. You unconsciously licked your lips & felt an all too familiar heat curl tight in your belly.
“Nothing.” Seung Hyun lied, quickly trying to hide what he'd been up to.
“I know you all too well, yeobo. You can’t lie to me... we promised to talk about everything remember? No secrets.” you reminded him with a soft smile.
Seung Hyun huffed out a small laugh, it faded away with a sudden jolt of nerves “ I... do you...” he stammered embarrassingly.
“You can tell me anything. I won’t laugh. Promise...” you tried your best to encourage him, softly kissing him on the neck again.
Seung Hyun sighed heavily and blew out a long breath. “Do you still find me attractive?” he asked quietly.
“What?”
“Do you still find me attractive?” he repeated nervously.
“Why are you even asking me that?” you were confused and worried as to why he would suddenly ask you something so utterly ridiculous. You rubbed your hands across your husbands stomach, up and down, trying to soothe him.
Seung Hyun looked down and saw his small belly under your hands, he swallowed past the lump in his throat. “I’ve got a dad bod...” he admitted shamefully. “I can't imagine that you actually find that attractive.”
You shot him a smirk in the mirror while wordlessly giving him an arch of your brow. 'Oh... if he only knew what was going through my mind right now...' you thought to yourself. As soon as he saw your face in the reflection, Seung Hyun closed in on himself. “You don’t have to laugh at me.” he snapped quietly, halfheartedly trying to get out of your hold.
“I’m not laughing at you, idiot.” you chided him, turning him around so he would look at you. “I love many things about you, husband of mine. The body is just a bonus.” you admitted with a grin.
“You... you still...?” he stammered, unable to complete the sentence.
You pushed Seung Hyun gently towards the bed with slow steps. You hated to see the naked vulnerability in your husbands eyes.
“Oh, absolutely. It shows that you're comfortable, happy and well loved.” you answered truthfully.
“But I don’t look how I used to look.” he pouted. “You know... back when you first got here.”
“You look sexier now.” you told him honestly, leaning closer. “I found you sexy back then, even though you were entirely too skinny. And now I take pride in how you look well cared for.” you whispered into your husbands ear.
“Yeah?” he whispered back, his gentle hands beginning to play with the hair at the nape of your neck.
“Besides...you didn’t seem to mind how my body changed after having the twins.”
His chuckle was lighthearted. “Hardly. I wanted to put my hands on you as much as ever, more probably.”
Your eyebrows shot up in slight surprise at that, but you just kept backing him up to the bed until the two of you fell onto it in a tumble of limbs and a couple of giggles.
“How about... you. let. me. show. you. just. how. sexy. I. think. you. are.” you spoke each word after planting kisses in very strategic places on Seunghyun's body.
Very much later, you lay next to each other exhausted, panting as you smiled when your eyes made contact. You pulled yourself up and leaned on your elbow, kissing Seung Hyun on the lips as you moved damp, dark hair off his forehead, threading your fingers through the sweaty mess.
“That is how sexy I think you still are.” you smirked.
Seung Hyun laughed weakly, intertwining his fingers together with yours and kissing your knuckles gently. “Well... good.”
“I honestly love how you look Seung Hyun. I don’t want you to go back to the way you were.” you admitted seriously.
“As long as you still love me, I won’t change.” he told you.
You laid there in silence for while... both content, still covered in sweat & sticky but neither of you were bothered. Then Seung Hyun looked at you again, his expression suddenly serious.
“I want more kids.”
A wide smile spread across your face. It was something that you'd discussed before, but he hadn't brought it up in a long time. “What... right now?”
“I want more children with you __________-ah, a whole football team of them.”
“I.... I don't think we need to go quite that far.” you giggled.
“I want Seung Min and Sung Ja to have more siblings. I want the house to be full of noise again, it’s been too quiet since they're in preschool now.” he frowned adorably.
“I've been thinking about that lately... I hate how quiet it’s become.” you agreed sadly.
“Should we have more then?” Seung Hyun asked again, a crooked grin splayed on his handsome, sweaty face.
“Yes, of course I will have more kids with you! Just...not a whole football teams worth.” you grinned as he leaned forward, gathering you up into a tight hug.
“Lets get to baby making then, wife.” he joked seductively, laying you back and trailing kisses all the way down your body until neither of you were laughing anymore.

Santa’s Knee – Seunghyun / T.O.P
“Remind me why I’m dressed like this?” you asked, pointing to the elf costume. Had you wanted to do this, you would have admitted you looked really cute. Your makeup was on point and complimented your red, gold and cream outfit. Still, you didn’t want to spend your day at Santa’s Grotto and deal with impatient parents or children who wanted a new iPhone for Christmas. You missed how Christmas was back when you were younger and had no interest in listening to the younger generation list off all their desires.
Plus, malls just gave you anxiety at the best of times!
“Because you are the bestest best friend I could ever have,” your friend Laney replied, smiling warmly at you. “You rock my outfit better than I do.”
“I’m going to make you do something you equally dislike in return!” It wasn’t as bad as you thought it would be. Sure, there were still a few who made you sigh heavily behind one Santa’s reindeers, but on a whole, you were finding it easier to smile naturally.
Perhaps it was because of Santa himself.
You didn’t know what he looked like behind the beard, but his eyes were gorgeous. And his laugh, you were certain it was better than anything in the North Pole. He was definitely the quirkiest Santa; some of the things he said to the children making you stifle your laughter beside their parents. But he was a hit with the kids and that was the main thing.
“Do elves sit on Santa’s knee and tell him what they want for Christmas too?” a little girl wondered after tugging on your skirt and you knelt beside her, smiling widely.
“No, we help Santa make all the presents for children like you.”
“But what do you get for Christmas? Don’t you want anything?”
You became thoughtful. “What do you think I should want?”
“Why don’t you sit on Santa’s knee and find out?!”
“But it’s your turn.”
“It won’t hurt any,” Santa called out and the children waiting erupted with excitement. Slowly, you approached him and sat down, your heart thumping in your chest.
“This is so foolish.”
Santa grinned. “Well, if it helps you any, you just answered my Christmas wish. I’ve been thinking of how to get you over at my side all day long.”

Summary: What if the love of your life broke your heart and when you finally move on he reappears. Ready to reclaim you and make you his, if you want or not
A/N: i just love him sm- i’ll never get over my first kpop love
Characters: Choi Seunghyun / T.O.P x Reader
WARNINGS: none (for now heh)
It was a while since I’ve seen him last…
I sat in the cab and stared at the message my best friend had sent me hours ago, thumbs hovering over the letters on the display, but I couldn’t form a proper sentence.
“Y/N, he will be discharged today! We arrange a surprise party for him!”
I knew exactly who “he” was, and even if it weren’t a question Jiyong had asked, I could still feel the big question mark on my shoulders. Do I wanted to see him? Do I want to see the others?
Questions over questions and I couldn’t even answer one for myself. I typed a fast “OK” and a thumbs-up Emoji before I pressed the Send button. It wasn’t much, in fact it was insultingly sparse, but I didn’t know what else to write.
Even though I needed the full day for my short message I got the response within a few seconds.
“What should I tell him?”
Clear as day I could imagine my best friends face while waiting for my answer. Of course, Jiyong didn’t mean it like that, but still, I could read the obvious undertone in his message.
“I don’t know. Actually, I don’t care, it wasn’t my decision-“ I pressed the Delete button and started again “Okay, I’ll be there. But I’ll only stay a few minutes.”
Now I got a smile and thumbs-up from him. The exact opposite of how I felt right now…
The cab stopped a few minutes later and I had to take a deep breath before I was brave enough to leave the warmth and safety of the car. The villa taunted me by towering into the sky while I felt like an ant. A baby ant. I have been here hundreds of times; I knew the house from the bottom to the roof like it was my own. Countless times I shared kisses and sweet nothings with my former lover. But now it was gone.
My fingertip hovered over the bell and for a fleeting moment I thought about leaving. I mean, nobody knew I was already here, right? But before I could finish the thought in my head, the door snapped open, and I stared at two brown eyes.
“Y/N! What are you doing here?” Youngbae’s voice sounded surprised but pleased at the same time.
“Hi.” I smiled slightly and ran my fingers through my hair. “Jiyong messaged me.”
“I see. Well, it’s nice to see and have you here! The others will be glad too- I just forgot something in my car, be right back.” And with that he was gone, and I stood alone in the entrance hall.
Loud music and laughter bounced through the rooms when I reached the living room and passed through it, but I couldn’t find my best friend, just hundreds of strangers who enjoyed expensive wine and cigars.
I sighed and wished to be in my small apartment, snuggled into a thick blanket on my sofa, eating ice cream and watching some K-Drama till I was a crying mess again. Instead, I stood there in Louboutin’s and tight pants in a house that barely belonged to my safe places anymore. What was I doing here?
Already annoyed I grabbed my phone and texted Jiyong that I was here, he was nowhere to be found.
“On the roof” was all I got back two minutes later and so I decided to take the elevator considering my choice of shoes. On the top floor there were less people, probably because it was Jiyong’s private VIP section for other celebrities or just woman he wanted to nail.
“Jiyong?”  I called his name and a few girls in too small bikinis turned their heads in my direction and then started to whisper when I passed them. I ignored them, already knowing what they were saying.
“Is that her?” another, not so discreet, voice asked, and I turned around, suddenly full of confidence.
“She is. And she wants to know where Jiyong is.”
“I’m here ma petite.”
I smiled because of the nickname and turned around to face Jiyong who looked like always: A big smile on his lips trying to hide the tired and exhausted expression on his beautiful face. I bet he hadn’t slept in days…
“Hey” I said and embraced his bear hug while his face was buried in my neck and hair- as always.
“I’m so glad you came, you know, when you didn’t read my text for hours, I was sure you wouldn’t respond to it and just ignore me.”
“Well, that was the plan at first” I admitted and coughed slightly while he bursted out laughing “But then I thought that it would be a bit rude and now I’m here. But not for long.”
He snorted and nodded towards the bar “Do you want to see him?”
My brain immediately screamed NO WAY! But my heart started to ache in a painfully delicious way.
“Sure” I answered, “That’s why I’m here.”
Seunghyun looked like always- and that was what caught me off guards. In my daydreams he was fat and full of pimples, which was completely excessive, he came from his military service, but it made things easier for me if I imagined him this way.
But now that I saw him for the first time in 18 months, it felt like a huge slap in the face. He was big and even more muscular now, although he slimmed down a bit, but not much. His pitch-black hair was perfectly styled and the dark suit fitted him like it was made to be on his body, which it probably was. I stared at the watch on his wrist which I gave him many moons ago and my heart began to throb - he still had it?
He was a gentleman with his whole being. He was Choi Seunghyun.
However, I felt like I never lost those twenty pounds and that my stylish haircut was replaced by my old and boring hairdo. I could even feel the braces on my teeth again although I didn’t have them since high school. Dammit. I quickly turned around and nearly ran towards the elevator. It was a mistake to come here…
“Y/N.”
I closed my eyes and muttered a quiet “Fuck” before I turned around to face my biggest weakness. He only spoke one word, but the deep voice cut through me, and I started to tremble.
“Seunghyun.” I responded and wished I had the same confidence in my voice as he did. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, so I just put a hand on my hip and hoped to compensate for my nervousness with this small gesture.
His look wandered from my shoes over my body and to my eyes where he finally stopped and gave me a smirk.
“You look ravishing.”
I gulped. Only Choi Seunghyun could break your heart in one minute and in the other one he would give you an honest compliment.
“Thank you.” I said and repeated what he did mere seconds ago but kept the compliments to myself. He noticed it because his smile widened, a small nod and a delightful slug of his wine was all he did. Everything he did looked so easy and smooth.
I grabbed a glass for myself when a waiter passed us and for the first time in eternity I received an astonished look from the handsome man in front of me.
“You don’t drink.” A statement, not a question and it almost made me roll my eyes. Instead of an answer I just gulped it down at once and gave it back to the startled waiter from whom I grabbed another glass.
“Wrong, Seunghyun. The old me didn’t drink, the new me doesn’t care what you think.”
Ouch. I regretted the words the moment they left my mouth. He smiled ruefully.
“I want to apologize.” He whispered, “I sure didn’t want to offend you in any way.”
“No… only breaking my heart and then leaving for your national duty.”
I noticed the silence and the looks when it was already too late. I really said it. Everyone stared at us, I could even see Jiyong’s expression although he was on the other side of the bar.
“Y/N, I-“ Seunghyun started but I cut him off and pushed my wine glass in his hand.
“Forget it. It was a mistake to show up.”
I made my way through the overcrowded house and ran outside to finally breathe again. The air was cool and oddly comfortable, so I decided to walk to the next bus stop, maybe I’d call a cab or sit there for the whole night. After a few minutes I felt already better and the watering of my eyes had also stopped. Stupid, stupid me… I scolded myself. Why did you drink? You have a low tolerance for alcohol, why would you even drink it in one go?!
“Can I give you a ride home?”
I flinched at the sudden voice and the car next to me. “No, thanks.”
“You know, if necessary, I’ll escort you like this until you’re home.”
“Dammit Seunghyun!” I suddenly yelled, “Why does it always have to be your way? I’m an adult and I can manage myself!”
My arms gestured wildly while the car slowly and steadily rolled next to me.
“I can make my own decision, thank you very much. Also, I know exactly what’s good for me and surprise, surprise, it is not you!”
“You will ruin your Louboutin’s.”
I sighed, took my shoes off and continued walking. I could hear him quietly laughing before he stopped the car, suddenly standing in front of me.
“Y/N, to be very honest I would really like to order you to get in the car right now, but you are not the only one who changed in the last months… So, I ask you to get in so I can bring you home safely.”
We remained silent for a few moments before I gave him a small nod. Fine. It was just a 20-minute drive anyway.
We didn’t talk the whole ride, there was only some quiet classical music coming from the radio. Probably Beethoven.
“Thank you.” I said when he stopped in front of my old building. I moved out weeks after he went to the military, but in fact, I’d never told him. I would just call a cab from here.
“It was really nice seeing you again.” He muttered and his cologne hit my nose. I didn’t dare to look but I bet he came closer, probably to open the door for me. I nearly jumped out of the car- the space between us became way too small.
I watched him drive away and waited a few minutes before I dialed the number for the taxi company. He’s gone, Y/N, I told myself.
It felt good to come home- even the buzzing from the elevator in my apartment building felt familiar and trusting. This was my home, my comfort zone where I felt safe. I opened the door and undressed myself, letting the clothes hit the ground. When I turned to the bathroom something felt different… but I couldn’t figure out what it was. Did I lock the door?
A soft purr suddenly jogged my memory: Snowball didn’t welcome me home at the door. This was odd, he always did. But now I could hear him purr and it came from the living room. Did a cat purr when it was all alone?
Before I properly thought about it, I grabbed the nearest vase and tiptoed along the corridor. There’s someone in my apartment. My mind froze when I saw the dark silhouette sitting on the sofa. I shivered when I reached for the light switch, not even realizing that I was almost naked and trying to fight a possible intruder. Maybe he would blush to death?
The light blinded me for only one second before I screamed, and the vase crashed on the floor beneath me. Seunghyun on the other hand just sat there while calmly caressing the belly of my cat. Traitor.
“WHAT THE-“ I screamed, “SEUNGHYUN?!”
“Hi again.” He spoke softly, but oh boy, it didn’t help at all. “You could have told me your new address.”
“You…you…” I started but my mind couldn’t produce a good enough insult “You didn’t ask.”
“I wanted to know if you would tell me by yourself.”
“How do you even know this address and how the fuck did you get in here?!”
“Well… to answer your first question, you posted a pic on your Instagram showing your new view, so I figured you moved. Nice neighborhood, exceptionally clean and quiet.” He nodded like he would talk to himself “A friend of mine lived in this area a while back, so I know it well. And it wasn’t that hard to ask for your name at the front desk.”
His words left me completely bewildered, unable to say something in return.
“And to answer your second question; you still hide your keys under the artificial plants at your front door.”

Sugar Coated~
Characters: Seunghyun, y/n
Genre: Fluff
word count: 11,098 characters
I haven’t written in a while but here I am lmao dflkihjgfdlhg. I have had an urge to write again but I couldn’t think of a concept. Then I got in the shower and was like... *shrug* Fake it until you make it!
Tumblr media
Summary: Your friends managed to drag you out of your introvert cave and to the amusement park, a place you admittedly were terrified of, those rides are dangerous, you know! Incredibly unsafe! Though when you got there, you ran into your old childhood friend, Seunghyun. Quite literally. It had been years since you’d seem him, and he has definitely changed.
“Y/n, I don’t understand why you came along with us if you aren’t going to get on any of the rides!”
One of your best friends, Ellie, furrowed her brows at you in judgement. Being nagged by Ellie was normal, honestly. You’d think she was your mother. The only reason you agreed to come along was because she was always begging you to take part in the friend group activities, and your introversion always kept you at home. Eventually the guilt built up and you told yourself that the next time your friends ask, no matter what it is, you would go.
If you had known that the next time they would ask would involve an amusement park, you would have never made that promise in the first place.
“Ellie, please... I have gotten on a couple! You make it sound like I’ve done nothing!”
“You basically haven’t!” Your best friend huffed. “I know you are afraid of rides but you have to get over that fear at some point, don’t you? We won’t let anything happen to you.”
With a sigh and a roll of the eyes, you looked over to your best friend, unable to hold back the slight glare.
Ellie had long jet black hair that she usually wore in a thick braid, easily bringing out her bright blue eyes and freckles, which she hated. Though nobody understood why. She was the most beautiful girl you’d ever seen, but she was so modest about it. Right now, however, those blue eyes were squinted at you, as if daring you to argue with her on the subject.
“I don’t see why--”
Before you could finish that sentence, your entire body slammed into the back of a tall figure, earning a quiet snort of a laugh from your friends.
“You should watch where you’re going, y/n” Ellie teased, earning a sharp glare in her direction before you quickly faced the poor soul who you’d bashed your entire body into.
“I am so, so sorry! Are you okay??”
As your eyes traveled up, you saw a tall man wearing what appears to be a trilby, which somehow he pulls off shockingly well. The hat hid his hair for the most part but from what you could see, it was a dark brown. He had an intimidating presence, and you immediately regretted bumping into him.
That thought was quickly pushed aside as soon as a look of concern flashed over his face and he reached out to you as if to steady you, but second thought it and pulled his arm back. This happened multiple times.
What an awkward guy. You held back a chuckle at the mess of a man in front of you.
“No, I am sorry! I wasn’t paying attention. I should have been paying attention. Are you okay? Did I hurt you?”
You raised a brow at the man in disbelief. “I’m... I’m the one who ran into you, what are you saying?” A chuckle slipped out before you could stop it, earning a laugh from your friends in response, whom you had already forgotten were there.
“I am sorry again, I should have been watching where I was walking.”
You paused for a moment, narrowing your eyes a slight bit at the man. He looked... vaguely familiar.
Just as you began to examine him, he appeared to be doing the same in return.
He must have had a better memory, because his eyes immediately widened.
“Y/n??”
You froze. You recognized your name being said in that tone. It took you a few moments, but it finally clicked.
“... Seunghyun?! Choi Seunghyun??”
The biggest dumbest smile spread across your childhood best friend’s lips, his deep dimples as prominent as ever. If you could say anything about Seunghyun in that moment, it would be that time had definitely treated him like fine wine.
Seunghyun’s long arms wrapped around you, pulling you against his chest in a tight hug so fast that you barely had time to react. He had always been like this, but it had been so long since you had seen him last that it definitely caught you off guard.
... Why is my heart racing? You tossed the thought aside as quickly as it came and hugged him just as tightly in return.
“Y/n, it has been so long since you moved away. Why didn’t you keep in touch?!”
Ellie butted in once more, reminding you that you had forgotten they were there for a second time.
“Y/n, aren’t you going to introduce us to your tall friend?” She smiled up at Seunghyun, who gave an awkward half-smile in response.
“Oh, of course! Ellie, guys, this is Seunghyun! We used to be neighbors when we were kids. I moved away freshman year of highschool and we lost touch.”
He gave a couple of nervous polite bows, earning laughs from your friends.
“Well, Choi Seunghyun, are you here alone? Do you want to hang out with us?” Ellie placed her hand on her hip. “We can’t seem to get y/n to get on any rides. perhaps you would have better luck.”
You let out a loud groan and rolled your eyes once more. “Ellie, please, those are so dangerous!”
“I bet you I can ride more rides than you can.”
You narrowed your eyes at Seunghyun. He used to do this a lot when you didn’t want to do something. He would make it into a challenge, which you found very hard to refuse. You couldn’t let him win, after all.
“That isn’t going to work on me this time, hyun.”
“How about you win, I will win any stuffed animal in the whole park for you?”
you immediately scoffed at him. “You think you have that much skill? These games are rigged you know.”
“Try me.”
“...” You sighed, aware that you couldn’t say no to your childhood friend.
“Alright, fine.”
Seunghyun threw his hands up to celebrate his small victory, which only fueled your determination more.
“Alright, you’re on. I WILL win this!”
“We’ll see, shrimp.”
The next two or so hours were full of you forcing yourself to get on rides with your friends and Seunghyun, who always made sure he was sitting next to you, friendly competition, and the reassuring gentle hand squeezes he gave you when he noticed your fear getting the better of you. Though there was a competition going on, he made sure to gently rest his hand on top of yours, on your shoulder and your knee throughout the entire time. He had never acted like this when you knew him back then. It was slightly confusing.
Though you weren’t quite aware of what was going on, Ellie was. She noticed every little touch Seunghyun made, every little glance in your direction when you were looking the other way, the soft smile on his lips every time you squeezed his hand in fear as the rides dropped. She knew you were oblivious, but she didn’t know you could be this oblivious.
“Hey, y/n, Seunghyun, the rest of us are going to go to the restroom real quick. We will come find you later!”
Before you could respond, your friends ran off and left you alone with him.
“... That was awfully fishy.” You muttered as you turned to face him.
He was unexpectedly close to you, looking down into your eyes, a curious glint in his.
His words came out rushed and messy as he took your hand in his.
“Y/n, I need to say this now or I will lose the courage. So please just listen until the end okay? Don’t say anything yet”
You raised your eyebrows in surprise, only nodding in response as you waited for him to continue.
The hand that wasn’t busy holding tightly onto yours reached up and gently brushed your bangs away from your eyes. He was staring deeply into them now, and for some reason your body felt quite hot, despite the cool weather. You broke eye contact to examine your old best friend.
His big dark eyes are actually quite beautiful, you thought absently. Was his jawline always this sharp?... No. He was on the heavier side back then. You had no idea he had such sharp features. His dimples that you used to find cute, now seemed deeply attractive to you.
“Y/n?”
You snapped out of your trance, looking up at a worried Seunghyun.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you, what did you say?”
He gave you an exasperated look, but it seemed a little relieved as well.
“I said, I like you. I like you a lot. I’ve always liked you, but I never did anything about it back then. I don’t want to let you slip away again without letting you know...”
You froze.
Here he was, after years of no contact, years of not being in each others lives, and he was confessing to you as if his feelings had never faded in the slightest.
He was staring at you with worry, waiting for a response, but you were still in your own little world. Seunghyun had always been protective of you, gentle and playful at the same time. He always rushed to your aid at the smallest things, like scraping your knee or tripping on the steps. You had always thought that was just something he did for everyone, but now that you were looking at him, it suddenly made so much sense. How could you be so clueless?
“Y/N!”
You laughed, snapping out of your thoughts once again at the oh-so-impatient man in front of you.
“I heard you this time, I promise!”
He let out another sigh of relief, thankful that you weren’t disgusted by his confession.
“Well... What do you think?” He asked awkwardly, not sure how to farther the conversation.
“I think...” you paused, a small smile forming.
Seunghyun stared at you , clearly nervous.
“... I think, you owe me the biggest stuffed animal in the park.”
“...What?”
“I won. You didn’t go on the twister, remember? You had to go to the restroom. I won. You owe me!”
His brows furrowed in preparation to argue that it doesn’t count, but you quickly cut him off, leaning up and pressing your lips softly to his.
His eyes widened for just a moment, it was the last thing he expected you to do, after all. Soon he shut them, though, and wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you against his chest. His free hand gently tilted your chin up as he deepened the kiss, all of the passion he had been holding in for all of these years, made quite clear.
After a moment, the two of you pulled away. Seunghyun was the first to speak.
“Though you cheated and got on a ride while I was gone, I yield. I will win you any stuffed animal you want. We call it even, as long as you don’t leave me again.”
A gentle laugh left your lips before you pinched his cheeks between your fingers.
“You couldn’t get rid of me if you tried.”
“Hey, lovebirds! Mind keeping the PDA to a minimum?”
You looked over to see Ellie and the others heading back to you, holding chili cheese fries for the both of you.
“I didn’t know what you’d like, Seunghyun, so I got you what y/n likes, I hope that’s okay!”
An embarrassed smile spread across his lips as the two of you separated from each other’s arms. “Sure, I love those, but you didn’t have to do that!”
“Well, seeing as we will be seeing a lot more of you from now on, we figured we’d welcome you into our friend circle with a greasy gift of friendship.”
You let out a sigh, but couldn’t hide the smile that followed, and took the fries from your friend for the both of you.
“Thank you for always being so meddlesome, Ellie. It is oh so appreciated.” Your voice was laced with sarcasm, but you knew she wouldn’t acknowledge it.
“Alright, let’s go watch big guy over here show off his famed amusement park game skills!”
Seunghyun jokingly puffed up his chest, dawning a serious expression. “I have been unbeatable so far, I am the king of these parts!”
All of you laughed at his ridiculous silly act, he was unphased though and grabbed your hand, lacing his fingers with yours before all of you started towards the balloon darts.

May I Come In?
Tumblr media
Halloween Special
[ Mature Content ]
Vampire Seunghyun... that is all.
There is one simple reason why vampires are always, without fail, handsome.
 "May I come in?"
A warmth spread across your body as your heart accelerated. The warmth of your blood rushing throughout your body was externally visible as a blush upon your cheeks. All this was involuntarily caused by the appearance of a handsome stranger. "Yes," you stepped aside never losing eye contact with him.
Seunghyun smirked giving a glimpse of his pearly white teeth. He was thankful to have come across such a trusting person as yourself. He had been waiting for hours to find the perfect subject.
When you closed the door you broke eye contact and lost the initial charm. You turned to face him, questioning your decisions. “Oh my god, what am I doing?” you muttered to yourself pushing back the locks of hair that feel forward, framing your face. This wasn’t like you. You didn’t just invite random men into your home even if they were handsome. Suddenly your mind was going blank. The last thing you remembered was seeing Seunghyun at the wine bar. Did you really drink so much you got the confidence to talk to him? “I’ve never done this before.”
He could hear you, of course, thanks to his enhanced hearing. In this day and age, it was difficult to find an adult who had yet to partake in any sexual relations. “I know,” he chuckled amused by the fact that he had managed to find himself a virgin. Seunghyun offered his hand for you to take.
The reason vampires were always so handsome was simple...they rely on their looks to capture their prey.
His deep alluring voice mesmerized you. It was a treat for your ears as his smile was for your eyes. It possessed you into placing your unsteady hand into his. The warmth of your hand contrasted the coolness of his.
Seunghyun brought your quivering hand to his lips and graced your knuckles with the softest of kisses. “Don’t worry Y/N, nothing will happen unless you want it to.”
“That’s what worries me.” Already you had gone against your better judgment and given in to him. Your eyes locked onto his once again. “Every time my mind screams no my body-”
“Says yes?”
“I was going to say, reacts on its own.”
“What’s the difference?” he asked, head tilting to the side in question. For hundreds of years, he had used the same lines of countless women. Not one was able to summon the willpower strong enough to reject him.
You were no different.
He led you to the comfort of your soft velvet couch where he sat first. The loss of his touch left you yearning to reconnect. Seunghyun watched your still form as you contemplated whether you should sit beside him. He made the choice for you. “Sit,” his eyes shifted from you to the empty spot beside him.
You sat down feeling like a complete stranger in your own home.
Contrary to your belief Seunghyun didn’t wrap his arm around you or even lean in to make a move on you. He sat back and watched you squirm under his gaze. You didn’t dare look back at him. “Why do you fight your urges?”
“What urges?!” you asked defensively.
Seunghyun leaned in, the closer he got the farther you leaned back. It wasn’t until you had fallen back onto the couch cushions that he stopped. His lips ghosted against yours as he spoke, “Your life is too short for regrets.”
Your breath hitched.
Turning to the side to avoid being so close allowed Seunghyun a perfect view of your neck. Now it was he who was fighting his urges. The blank canvas looked so inviting, he wanted to paint it red but, like he had said, he would only indulge in a willing partner. It was the only way to get the sweetest result. “Do you want me?”
In a matter of seconds, you nodded.
“Good-” Seunghyun’s lips immediately latched onto your neck where he began kissing the soft tender skin to his heart’s content. The sound of your erratic heartbeat mixed with the soft breathless moans that he evoked from the stimulation. “Because I want you.”
It all happened so fast.
It was unclear to you how you had gotten to the bedroom. Your arms and legs had wrapped themselves around Seunghyun but you didn’t even know he had taken you to your bedroom. All of your focus was on his lips and yours moving in perfect sync.
Seunghyun sat you on the edge of the bed and kneeled in front of you.
This was the first time you got to look down at him. He was perfect. From his chiseled jaw to the luscious black mane of hair...it was the face of a god! “You are inhumanly handsome.”
He hid his face in your lap, chuckling at your all too honest remark. “Thanks, but you are the fairer creature in this room.” His hands snaked up your thighs and around your waist, his fingers tugging on the hem of your shirt. The coldness of his fingertips made you shiver. “Take it off or I’ll rip it off,” he growled right into your ear.
You did as he said and discarded the shirt along with the rest of your clothes until you were laid bare in front of him. It was very uncomfortable, in a good way. It felt like you were being teased. He obviously had the upper hand as he remained fully clothed.
Even if you didn’t say anything your eyes kept wandering to that first button on his shirt and his belt, Seunghyun knew what you wanted. “What do you want me to do Y/N?”
The way your name sounded coming from his lips had you wanting to hear it more. Suddenly your mind was full of indecent thoughts of him calling out your name while coming undone. “I-” you licked your lips. Your mouth had become dry from all the kissing. “Take off your shirt.”
Without hesitation, he worked on the buttons of his shirt. The first three while facing you, the rest he did with his back to you. He smirked knowing you had bitten your lip to keep from protesting his actions.
Your eyes widened as the toned muscles of his back were revealed to you. A part of you wished you would have never asked him to take it off. Now the little restraint you had was gone. You were completely in need of him.
Seunghyun raked his fingers through his hair a couple of times to rid it of the stiff gelled look. Now his hair had movement and wisped about giving him an edgier, darker look. this was the real him. The vampire Seunghyun who had all the time in the world to enjoy the pleasures that presented themselves in front of him. He looked back at you ready to give you what you wanted most... at a price.

You laid back with Seunghyun hovering above you. His hand smoothed the side of your face before resting on your neck. He could feel your pulse, his fingers traced your jugular vein coursing with the life-preserving liquid he so desired.
Once again his lips kissed your neck giving a light, playful bite.

The dead of the night was interrupted by your moans. Just as you were feeling the most indescribable pleasure in your life Seunghyun seized his movements and pushed your hair back over your shoulder. You sat on top of him, chest to chest, looking like a complete goddess. “Do you want more?” His eyes began to darken as the bloodlust reached its climax.
“Yes,” you whined wishing for him to continue.
A crooked smirk revealed the sharp edges of his fangs, "I knew you would, princess."
