14. What's something upcoming that you're looking forward to?

Long-term, the ritual in October. I'm still in a little disbelief that I somehow got a ticket, haha. Short-term, finally getting my application in to transfer to a university so that I can stop having that hanging over my head (will likely be doing this tomorrow), and having a job again so that I can finally have an income

17. How do you feel best loved?

😅 Taking a moment to expose a part of my psyche, huh? Uh, I think it's when someone shows that they think of me or care about me, like when you pop in on occasion with a photo of nature or bug perspective. Buba has some specific pet names that are an insta-kill to my heart because of how evidently affectionate they are. It just means a lot to me for that to even be a thing now

Second to that is any sort of physical affection, for months Tumblr kept trying to recommend my "I am a slut for non-sexual intimacy" tag whenever I typed anything and I think it's because it knows

28. What are you proudest of?

The fact that I keep putting myself out here, even when I just feel like retreating and hiding within myself. I still don't really branch out into the larger community (especially on other platforms), but finding myself a rather stable position here is still big for me

I don't listen to twenty one pilots beyond their self-titled album (which is where this song comes from), but it holds a very special place in my heart, especially Taxi Cab

8. What's a fabric/texture that's nostalgic for you?

Faux suede (or, at least, that's what comes to mind when I try to describe it). My grandmother's couches are all made of it, and so are the chairs and couches in the house I spent a lot of time at in Utah. There's often no beds available, so I've slept on those couches countless times

25. If your soul was a color, what color would it be?

In an entirely predictable fashion, I think I am obligated to say green (/lighthearted)

16. What’s something you want to create soon?

Now that my academic year is over, I really want to try and get back into writing fics. It took a back seat this year, I was just too exhausted to even want to look at my documents, but I miss it. I have one little drabble I've been meaning to write for months now that I want to get finished 💚

19. Have you ever written or received a love letter?

Beyond the traditional "romantic" love letter (which would be a no), I love sending them to my friends. Every care package I leave in an inbox 👋🫂☕💚 has "I love you" written into it, there are times where I cannot keep my love and fondness for a friend in and send them a long message about it. I've occasionally gotten them back, which I really do cherish

22. Name of your favorite playlist?

I feel like I'm one of the only people nowadays who doesn't really use playlists, haha, I usually just listen to albums. The only one I ever really use is my album dump one for if I remember to bring my Bluetooth speaker out into the car, and it's just titled "Car"

19. Have you ever written or received a love letter?

Depends on what you'd consider a love letter (romantic vs. platonic, by hand vs. typed, etc)? I was initially going to say no, but if I broaden the definition of what fits as one and look at platonic (and typed), then yeah, I write them all the time. I get really sappy when I'm overly tired and Bubs (bubacorn) usually ends up with a long message about how much I love and adore them. Sometimes I write them for my mutuals as a reblog to something or just in their inbox. I'm not really one to be quiet about my affections, haha 💚

I have not, not really many opportunities to have thus far

28. What are you proudest of?

The amount of effort I've put into trying to make my life a more livable one and setting myself up to be in a place where I can even enjoy it at some point. Or, maybe continuing to make the decision to put that effort in? Something along those lines

@moonchild-in-blue that last tag cracked me up but you're absolutely right. there's a sanitized, overly moderated vibe to that entire server -- and on some level it's necessary, given how large it's become, but it does become offputting for queer fans like myself. i didn't have the best impression of the mods on there last time i joined. i wouldn't feel comfortable posting in there beyond asking for basic information about tickets or whatever.
