Do you think luka will have a full on break down at r7..

I really like the idea,,, I went over my thoughts on that scenario more here, I think Luka is a man with many fears, and another side to him that we don't know about just ready to come to the surface.

Like I said in my other post regarding this, Luka is the "Ruler of the stage" but I think there is a possibility that in this instance, he would no longer be able to stand remaining as composed once the pressure sets in, because there are a lot of truths to this life he's living, one of which is he is utterly disposable, no matter how valuable he is. And Luka knows that.

As it seems, Luka likes the power (like dominance) he gets from manipulating the stage because he feels self-assured from the control, control is something he doesn't have in any other part of his life, after all--on the stage he is the king. He has every skill to his benefit, adoring fans, and who has ever been stronger than him to make him doubt himself? Mizi might've been the first with that outburst, changing that air of invincibility. And I think Till's intensity on stage could throw Luka off in a more drastic way this time, and make him act on it this time? They are two sides of the same coin, Till is Luka's ultimate equal and could give him a challenge he hasn't seen before from other Alien stage participants but this theory is...iffy, because we don't know Luka that well, and this theory almost completely contradicts the character we know him as, but that's the thing. Is the Luka we know really Luka? (Similar to Ivan who also has a persona that differs from his authentic self, is Luka just better at hiding it?)

All in all, I hope we can see Luka's facade slip in round 7, who knows, maybe it's full-on stitched to his face and he'll die like the glass-cased doll he always was from the day he was made, but it'd be interesting if we saw him feel again, and see him do something we wouldn't expect like fighting back for once. (was his fight with hyunwoo the only time he ever did that?)

You hum, tracing your finger along the edge of his jaw, leaning in enough that you know he can smell your skin and the way you still smell like him, a little, from his last escape attempt.

"You almost had me, that time," you murmur, tugging at the ropes holding Donatello in place and feeling your mouth go crooked when he glares at you. "What? Not used to someone so cute overpowering you? You know you have a much higher center of gravity, right?"

Teasingly, you press your fingers into the center of his plastron, licking your lips when you see him tremble at your touch.

"...Makes you easy to knock down," you continue. "Especially when you think you've got me pinned and it's your turn to play."

Donatello rolls his eyes almost violently, his stock protest muffled behind the tape you'd slapped over that sassy mouth of his. Leaning in, you laugh, knowing the shape of the shudder you'll feel beneath your hands even before you put them in place on his throat.

"Now, what shall I do now that I've got you?" you whisper, ghosting a kiss over the tape where his mouth is, smiling deviously when you feel his lips try to meld into it.

Maybe you'll keep this one a little longer, after all.

So Fukuzawa didn’t know about the Tripartite Tactic before going to Mori.

That opens up to avenues to us: Either Mori knew that Fukuzawa didn’t know about the Tactic and thus Mori has an upper hand on him, something that I think appealed to him

Or: Mori thought that he and Fukuzawa were on the same page about agreeing with the Tactic and becoming allies-enemies. This put them both on equal lands (kinda) and gives Natsume the upper hand as he has more information than them both.

Option 2 gives us the fun of Mori having to cope with knowing there’s someone above him and being powerless, but it really depends on what the relationship between Natsume and Mori is/was.

Either way it leads to someone having to explain that they’ve basically duped Fukuzawa into another role against the Mafia when he was already tetchy about leadership. Given that they still (kinda??) respect Natsume in s3 and that this is Really Fucking Serious and Fukuzawa’s shitty track record with realising his friends aren’t actually good friends(COUGH FUKUCHI COUGH) I think we can say that Fukuzawa didn’t absolutely flip a table and confront Natsume over this which just makes me wonder what RANPO thought about this :(

Hi, hope you are doing well :) I was rereading the T$$ chapter Punching Bags and Sahota's threats got me wondering if he had ever actually tortured anyone or does Vic usually take that job if needed? Thank you for all the writing, it's incredible!

Hi, thanks for the ask!

Although Sahota has technically tortured others before, the threats he makes in that chapter are exaggerated. Partly because at that point, it's the first time in years he's been given power over another person (or group of people) like this, and he's feeling things out in the way he's been taught, and partly because he's certain that will be the outcome if Benji (or anyone else) openly defies or betrays Vic.

Sahota and Vic's mission success largely depends on them getting in and out of a dangerous situation as quickly as possible. Sometimes that means grabbing a guard and breaking a few fingers, a strategy that's not exactly reliable, but they'll go there as a last resort. They've never taken a captive long-term, (at least Sahota hasn't) but Sahota has firsthand experience as a victim in that sort of situation, so his threats (and fears) aren't unfounded

Theres a very weird movement going on here, where if you mention issues related to men, you are automatically labeled an MRA.

In all honesty, it makes sense with what feminist theory has been clipped off after t*rfs got their hands on the "feminist" title and ran it through the mud. Because to them- men are evil. Masculinity is evil. Specifically trans men are evil gender traitors who want nothing more than a slice of the patriarchy pie.

Where is the space now in progressive/feminist circles for men? Especially queer men? Men who have BEEN feminists, who have been active politically, in their communities and homes- where is the space for them? What happened to stronger together? When did the mass begin adopting t*rf talking points? When did feminism as a whole become centered on those talking points?

Like. I AM allowed to talk about the issues I face in a heteronormative cis-centric society plagued with patriarchal views. That shit affects me deeply! I talk about it on my blog. In my own space. I also uplift the voices of others- especially women, and fem-aligned people. It's important to have connections with all sorts of people- it makes me feel more whole, both in the personal connections, and the connections made through works of art, books, etc.

It is frightening to watch the community splinter apart as the looming threat of a Trump term is happening. It feels like being in a crowd, helping everyone into a safe zone and reaching for a hand up- only to be left behind and closed out as the zombie hoard closes in.

Under pressure, things begin to break down. But we really need to do our best to mend the splintering, to fill the cracks and seems and divides. Because otherwise, their next step is "Conquer" and I don't want to see that for us.
