The plants station was needlessly overwhelming. There was simply no way to know all the varied plants, or which ones would actually appear in any specific Arena. Court already knew about the ones from D10, but was it worth it to learn about all of them?

He glanced sideways as he was approached by another Tribute. His sleeve marked him as from District Seven - just Court's luck. He was probably already going to know everything there was about plant life. "D'you think this is even worth it? What are the chances they'd do another outdoor Arena back-to-back?"

Sometimes in order to function I have to pretend there's another person speaking to me in my head, directing me on what to do and calling me out for negative behaviors. Generally there's just the one, but sometimes I have a few with different tones in different settings. ... I don't think it's from any mental illness. I think it's just my thoughts. The same way I talk out loud to myself in different voices, or to hype myself up or calm myself down. I'm just thinking to myself. And to me other selves. Anyway I'm probably perfectly sane, aside from my ADHD.

The plush cushions immediately soothed him, and the dark lent him a certain amount of anonymity that he needed. Another Tribute. Whoever this was, they were very forthcoming with their identity.

"Yeah," he said, feeling like his voice shouldn't raise above a whisper. "From Ten. Courtney Ganhador." He paused for a second, wondering if he had broken some sort of rule, some kind of strategy by introducing himself. "You?"

Fitz looked at Courtney, and then behind him, making sure it was just him coming through. He didn't own the room, couldn't make any decisions as regards to who got to come in, but he'd rather have stayed on his own if he could help it.

"All good" he half lied, moved deeper into the chair. "Are you another tribute?" he wondered then.
