I've seen a couple people saying how if both Sophie and Fitz died, Keefe would be most devestated over Sophie's death.

No no no.

He would be absolutely broken over Fitz's death. They were best friends for what, five/six/seven years? Then, Keefe betrayed Fitz when he ran off to 'join' the Neverseen. He never got the chance to apologize.

Sophie was only in Keefe's life for like a year/year and a half, maybe two. Fitz was such a bigger part of Keefe's life.

But Keefe never got to apologize. He never got to find out if Fitz hated him, if he would ever be forgiven. Keefe wouldn't ever be able to forgive himself.

In fact, there's a huge chance Keefe's mind would break from the guilt. Who's there to save him? Nobody. Both Sophie and Fitz are gone forever. Forever. Fitz is gone forever. Keefe never gets to apologize.

keefitz should have been the ultimate bromance. or maybe even the ultimate romance. is it not literally golden boy from broken home x troublemaker from equally broken home just in a different way. two kids who deal with impossibily high expectations but cope in drastically different ways finding friendship and comfort in one another. like why did we lose a great relationship dynamic to a stupid love triangle plot ughhh
