Fun fact: My novel takes place over the winter of 1832-33. Yes, this painfully specific timing is because of my Les Mis obsession. it's funny to me read you talking about how hot is where you live because we've just got out of a nasty dry season here, almost four months of no rain

now that it's over it's been raining pretty often and you can finally exist without turning into a puddle lol

we're at 29° at the moment. It goes down to 20-25° when it's raining, which is objectively not very cold, but when you're used to an average of 39° anything is better

But right now, it's just Krolia and the music in her ears as her shorts swish around her legs, sneakers hitting the pavement in time to the beat. She's nearly done – soon, she'll be heading back home to stretch and wind down before sitting at her desk. But for now, she's outside, and she forces other thoughts out of her mind.
