Sebastian Stan One Shot
Can you do a Sebastian x costar!reader where they’re doing virtual press together from their home for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and people freak out over how cute they are? Just lots of fluff
"Today we are being joined by Sebastian Stan and Y/F/N Y/L/N. Welcome you two!"
The interviewer says as the virtual press conference begins.
"Thank you so much! We are so happy to be here."
You smile, getting comfortable on the couch and readjusting your air pods.
"So Y/N, you are back again to play Bella Stark."
You had been cast during the second Avengers movie as Bella, Tony's long lost daughter who had been taken by Hydra at the age of three and held by them until she was saved by the Avengers.
The story was one you had always been interested in, especially since yours and Sebastian's characters were intertwined.
As it went, Bella had the mind of her father and the potential to be even better. Hydra had taken her in the middle of the night, killing her mother in the process and holding her in a cell for nearly 15 years before bringing her to take advantage of her skills to build a new arm for The Winter Soilder.
The process took time and even though his kind had been constantly wiped, Bucky and Bella had an unspoken bond develop between them.
So much so that once the arm was finished, the Hydra general had activated The Winter Soilder and ordered him to kill her.
When, much to the shock of everyone, he had refused, the General put a gun to Bella's head to do it himself, The Winter Soldier protected her yet again.
The fans loved the story, all believing that Bucky and Bella truly belonged together and were even more excited when they found out that you would be joining The Falcon and The Winter Soilder as well.
"Yes, luckily they brought me back. As soon as they asked, I jumped at the chance to join the show."
You answer, the comments already going wild with admiration for you and Bella.
"We honestly couldn't have done the show without her. Mackie maybe, but definitely not Y/N."
You playfully smack his arm as you laugh at the sweet comment.
"Are we going to be seeing more of Bucky and Bella's love story in the show?"
The two of you knew how to navigate around the questions, being coached by Marvel for every interview.
"Bucky and Bella are still trying to figure out what they mean to each other, just like in the last few films. Its an ongoing thing that will obviously be explored in the show."
Sebastian's answer was vague enough to not get him in trouble but exactly what the fans wanted to hear.
"Well, we all love them together. The chemistry between you two is off the charts. Do you find that being married in real life has helped you bring this relationship to life on screen?"
You and Sebastian had met years before and became friends quickly. It was only during the filming of Captain America Civil War that you had realized your feelings for each other and had began dating.
You had gotten married just before quarantine had started and were happily living together in New York.
"It has certainly made it easier."
You joke. Both you and Sebastian were very private about your private lives but once the fans had found out about your relationship, they were completely supportive of it.
"Bucky and Bella have a very different sort of relationship then we do but I do believe that our own relationship has helped made their potential one a fan favorite. People root for them. They want to see both of these characters get a happy ending and I partly believe that has to do with the support and love Sebastian and I have seen since the fans have found out about our own relationship."
You answer seriously as the fan comments in the chat went wild with love and support.
'Mom and Dad are giving me life!'
'Why are they so cute?'
'Ahhh I love them so much!'
'This gives me life!'
"Speaking of that, how has married life been treating you during this crazy time?"
The interviewers next question brings even more comments from fans who always want to know every little bit of information they can get from you.
"It's been great. Most couples only get a week or two for their honeymoon but we have gotten a year."
Sebastian answers and takes your hand just under the cameras view.
"Yeah, we've just been working on the house and enjoying married life. I will say though, we are getting a bit restless, ready to get back to work."
The answer was honest, probably a little too honest but you were never one to lie.
Sebastian nods in agreement.
"Yeah, i think we are both ready to get back to real life and be able to be with the fans again."
He reiterates your answer.
"I'm sure the fans are ready to be with you both again as well."
The comments pick up again with messages of how much they all miss you and Sebastian.
"Any final words for the fans before we go?"
The time had come for you to sign off after many questions and roundabout answers.
"We love you guys and hope you like the show!"
Sebastian speaks first then looks over to you.
"Yes, we hope you like the show! Stay strong and we will all be together again soon, we love you!"
You finish the live stream after a few more goodbyes, happy for the chance to interact with the fans and talk up the show.

[1/?] Sorry for venting. I just saw some bad takes that gave me a lot of feelings. Personally, JC stresses me out every time he comes on screen, but I don't mind it when JC fans say fan-typical things like how they like JC because he wears purple, or is grumpy, or they think he's hot, or that they ship x*ch*ng because the cql actors have nice jawlines. They're harmless, fun takes, and while I don't agree with some of them, I see where they're coming from
Hello there anon, vent away as that is what my blog is open for as I love/hate on Jiang Cheng as he is in the plot, as well as all of my beef with what has been done to him for the EN side of the fanbase! I am more than fine listening and engaging with the unsavory "unpopular" discussions of his canon behavior and this goes for anyone of course that needs an open play area. I'll try to engage with what you have sent point by point as succinctly as I can.
[2/?] (some of these are obviously crack, and I am a fan of a few problematic faves). But then there are stans that just have to put other characters down to make JC look good. Like, I think some fans take their freedom of interpretation for granted because most of these takes aren't even labeled 'headcanon,' 'ooc,' or 'crack' anymore. Stans feel that their interpretations are valid, and while they are, valid =/= canon, and they're treating these takes as canon, which becomes popular fanon.
I enjoy Jiang Cheng for what he is, however as I had said it took me another reread to get to my stance of him being the negative mirror to Lan Wangji's positive and my comfort with that for the story once I realized what purpose he served. He is only insofar tragic in regards to his circumstances, but it does not absolve him for what he is at his core (no pun, but I can make a very nice metaphor that even with a piece of Wei Wuxian in him he is still forever unable and unwilling to stand by him equally all while stagnating where as Lan Wangji is able to flourish, grow and mature with nothing of import left from Wei Wuxian in a technical sense). As for ships, I am a little dirty Xicheng whore for fun and can say there is a sense of entertainment for me making it work with two people where one is wildly ignorant and the other wildly rabid. But that is outside of what is established as canon in the work and I always try to keep the two strictly separate due to the skew fanon perpetuates.
3/?] And now, it's not clear what part of the fanon references canon JC or the canon events of mdzs. JC is an asshole; I don't like him as a person, but I do think that he's a complex character motivated by many issues (sup, YeeZY), which makes him fascinating to explore. Unfortunately, erasing his culpability also removes his agency. JC should be allowed to be an asshole character who makes his own decisions even if they're the wrong ones. He has made his own tragedy by constantly casting Wei Wuxian as the villain of his life.
Now thanks to you I will be using YeeZY to forever and now to acknowledge Madam Yu (this is your fault for the new tag). From a standing from storytelling I agree that he is complex in the Jianghu for MDZS. Where in the usual political intrigue of Wuxia, he would be the mustache twirling villain that is outright unforgivable in narration, it is by favor of Wei Wuxian's narration that has an early steeping of empathy for him. And he is not meant to be seen as ultimately sympathetic, the work builds up his hate against Wei Wuxian who tries to rationalize it all several times until he is finally unable to. Jiang Cheng is the antithesis to Lan Wangji and the false bait to get attached to in Wei Wuxian's first life. I will make the note their meeting in Yiling is lukewarm between both as they exchange nothing really in terms of conversation and all pleasantries are left in terms of Jiang Yanli for Wei Wuxian. By this point Wei Wuxian has already switched his yearnings of platonically wanting a part of Jiang Cheng's life, to subconscious romantic inclinations about Lan Wangji and the perceived loss of being in the other's life.
The very point of Jiang Cheng as the deconstruction, is that he has no passion in life despite his apparent exploits because he put a shadow to hang over himself as an excuse to say others think he is not good enough. He has no deeper motivations than pure selfishness by the end of the work and is pure frivolity that he has built up losing the meaning of his sect as a tradition. He had his agency (more than anyone I might add in the work due to his social position) that he used to build his reputation as a passive rich sect leader that has little to do with civilian problems.
4/?] And I think a JC, somehow, that realizes that he did something wrong and is working hard to change for the better and gain self-actualization to become that UWU best jiujiu the stans want him to be, who is ready to talk (not yell at) with WWX, apologize to him, and create a better, healthier relationship with him is a much more powerful reconciliation and happy ending than 'everyone is wrong and mean and they all apologize to JC, which magically gets rid of all his issues'.
He is forced out of culpability in reconciliation because simply put, his audience do not like the reality that relationships fray and dissolve with no further resolution other than we as adults both need to move on for safety and good health. It is not acceptable in real life and fiction is allowed to place that also in it's thematic relationships. He has a small, small spark of recognition at the end of the main story, however he himself seems to choose to ignore it, as change is hard and he has never taken to that well as was foreshadowed with his dogs and the idea of sharing a space with Wei Wuxian. To write this is an awful lot of work into his psyche which is not a nice place, he is a terrible being and downplaying that to make a sugar sweet person does not work instantaneously. He is the one responsible for the entire fallout with Wei Wuxian and he hysterically realizes that even as he tries to continue to blame Wei Wuxian.
The issue that I have with his current stan culture, is that they already view him as something he is not. They play at bicycle with all of the other protagonists that have positive traits that they strip as they see fit; Good affirming loving to children adult Lan Wangji, Self-sacrificing ultimately did it all for love and care Wei Wuxian, Hard exterior but softened to who they consider an annoyance Wen Qing, Loyal as partners in their exploits on the field and always have each others back Wen Ning. They even take Jin Guangyao's persona of playing damsel and using that as a positive to soften up Jiang Cheng into something he has never been for anyone for ships.
[5/5] Also, making WWX/WN/LWJ apologize just makes them look better than JC. Like, stans supposedly love JC, so they ahouldn't be lazy and work hard to give him actual character development. Again, I'm sorry for spamming your ask. It just really baffles me about where they get these 'hot' takes (All I'm going to say is that JC was ungrateful, and WN had a reason verbally dismantle him).
They see this, but, they will spin it in any way to excuse Jiang Cheng due to the story itself showing that he was in the wrong to everyone he flung accusations at and his hate. No one but him is at fault for his spite as he had gotten his revenge on the ones that had ruined Lotus Pier and killed his parents. His own resentment pitted him against good and well meaning people that he refused to help as he mimicked his mother's words about raising their heads higher out of goodness instead of keeping low and staying self-centered. There is the underlying criticism of taking individual arrogance as self-care at the cost of others. Each point that Wen Ning makes is exactly what Jiang Cheng himself knows as he hated Wei Wuxian for being something he could not be or even wanted to be. Jiang Cheng wants kindness but does not understand that kindness to others needs to be selfless and accept the hurt that can come with that in life. He encompasses the fall from the path of buddhist lifestyle, "The Three Poisons" to Wangxian's "Without Envy" at the stories end.
[6/5] P.S. I'm not saying I want reconciliation fics, but I just feel that if stans want JC to have a happy ending, then I think that he should actively work for it. I think it would be interesting to see what force of nature would push him through a character development because throwing a therapist at him would result in a murder.
"I'm not saying I want reconciliation fics, but I just feel that if stans want JC to have a happy ending, then I think that he should actively work for it."
They do not think he has to work for it, they say his tragedy is enough, while heaping accusations against Wei Wuxian and saying his own are not enough to absolve him. Something Wei Wuxian has never denied and told all present they are allowed to forever hate him for what he had done in the past, but that they need to find a way to live in a life that is always moving on. He learned that grudges do nothing once they are absolved and it leaves you with hate with nothing else to do with it once that object is gone. In terms of reconciliation, I do not ever think that either want anything other than a distant peaceful out of each other's life set up. Jiang Cheng does not need Wei Wuxian in his life to be satisfied and never has since he used him as the handicap to hide behind to stay angry and miserable. Being without that fallback opens the world far more for him to change than him ever interacting like an old friend with Wei Wuxian ever again, if he ever had the guts to do that.

Unwithering | Bakugou Katsuki x Reader (1)
Part Two
Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x fem!reader
Prompt: Flower shop AU, “I think I’m in love with you.”
Warnings: Mild Swearing. Flowery language (pun intended 😉... I’ll show myself out)
Word Count: 2,250
Taglist: Reply to this post if you want to be added for future chapters!
A/N: This is for @bnhabookclub event going on! Thank you for giving new writers in the fandom, like me, a place to promote their work. Shout out to @smolmilkyways for letting me use this beautiful piece of fanart above! Go check them out! Also, thanks @gallickingun for letting me tag you in my first fic. You gave me some pretty solid advice that pushed me to get this out here. This was originally a one-shot, but of course it turned into a multi-chap, so stay tuned for more!
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
“I think I’m in love with you.”
Your fists gripped the hem of your dress. The sunflowers on it reminded you of him; a burning sun at the center of your universe. The boy in front of you crinkled his forehead at your statement; as if the love you spent years building up the courage to confess was no more than a pebble - insignificant - that he could kick to the side without a second thought.
Midoriya gave you a slight thumbs up from the back, but the rest of the boys cackled with no remorse.
“You hear that, Bakugou? She looovvveesss you!”
“Freaky flower girl and Bakugou sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G”
“Awww is she gonna cry?”
The lump in your throat was difficult to swallow, but you refused to prove them right. It would only add fuel to the fire threatening to burn the seed planted in your heart.
He stepped toward you. The scent of burnt sugar filled your lungs; like fresh apples picked from your mother’s garden, dipped in melted caramel. You heard it’s a side effect from his quirk, but it was the first time you were close enough to experience it for yourself.
You willed your eyes to find his. The soft breeze blowing past provided a cooling relief to the intense heat felt in your cheeks. When your eyes locked, a spark flashed within his own. You couldn’t catch it in time, but your heart stuttered in response.
Any chance of a flower blooming died the next moment.
“I’ll never love a weak girl like you.”
A year passed before you saw Katsuki Bakugou again.
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
“Here’s your pickup order, Tanaka-san, I’m sure your wife will love them!”
You ring up the older gentleman who’s been a regular at your mother’s flower shop for years. His wife loves the smell of scented geranium, a sweet apricot that never fails to remind her of the orchards back home. He’s convinced your flowers are the reason she’s still here; the true medicine to her illness.
You always deny this statement, shaking your head with a playful giggle, but the compliment warms you. It’s nice to hear people cared about your flowers.
“She loves only the ones made by you, dearest.”
He winks as his shaking hands grab the large bouquet. You smile and turn your hand, palm up, towards Tanaka whose eyes never fail to widen in awe at your quirk in action. A small stem sprouts from the center of your palm, growing taller by the second. You hone in on the bright yellow dot on the center of each petal. A wash of white forms around each dot, acting as a transition for the violet that envelops the rest of the petals.
Each petal opens up one by one to reveal a golden bud.
You hand the flower to Tanaka.
“On the house,” you wink back.
“Oh very nice, very nice, indeed,” he bows in thanks, “What is the meaning of this one?”
“Irises give hope. In Chinese tradition, it is referred to as ‘the purple butterfly’ because its petals flutter like butterflies.”
The breeze from outside trails in at the perfect time and the petals flutter about.
“Very pretty,” Tanaka remarks, “I’ll be sure to let the misses know about this one!”
He thanks you one more time before walking out with a newfound spring in his step; the lone flower nestled in the pocket of his worn out janitor uniform.
You’ve been working at Paradise Blooms for the past three years after your parents separated, and your mom needed the extra hand more than ever. It was difficult balancing school and work, especially when you were busy prepping for U.A. exams last year, but you could never say no to your mom. She’s been the constant in your life since day one.
The back door to the supply room squeaks.
“A little help here?”
All you see is the top of your mom’s head, adorned with a multi-colored flower crown. Her face is covered by the high pile of crates she’s trying not to drop. You rush to catch the top crate before it tumbles.
“Phew. That was a close one. Thanks, honey!”
She bends down to take the supplies out, arranging the items on the counters around the shop. She weaves through the aisles - it looks more like a garden than an actual shop, in your opinion, but you think it gives the place character. She stops at the row of potted flowers sitting on the far right of the shop, soaking in the sunlight cast through the window. It’s the new collection your mom got in time for the 2020 Garden Glow Event. Every year, flower shops all over the city participated in an annual gardening event to educate the public on gardening techniques with fun activities for the children. Your mom spent hours on the phone dealing with difficult vendors to get this specific collection for the event. Water sprinkles out from her palm as she takes the time to water each and every flower.
Since there’s no customers at the moment, you grab the broom from the storeroom and set to sweeping around the shop. It’s not long before your mom’s watering routine is interrupted by her phone ringing.
“Hello?” You continue sweeping, gently humming along to the tune playing through the speakers, but your voice catches when you hear, “Mitsuki! Hi! How are you?”
Mitsuki? Your mom couldn’t possibly be talking to Mitsuki... Bakugou?
Your knuckles turn white from squeezing the life out of the poor broom as you wait for confirmation.
“I think I’m in love with you.”
The memories you tried so hard to forget come flooding all at once.
“I’ll never love a weak girl like you.”
You’re snapped out of the memory.
“Yes, bring him in! Great! See you in a few, bye.”
Your mother returns to watering the flowers like nothing happened - like that single phone call didn’t just turn your world upside down, after you spent the last year flipping it right side up.
“Who was that?”
You’re afraid of the answer.
You promised yourself you moved on from Katsuki Bakugou. It proved to be easier said than done. Even if you both went to separate high schools and most of your days were spent either studying or working; at night is when your thoughts strayed. You wondered what he was up to… was he passing all his classes? You’d giggle at the absurdity of Katsuki not being number one. Was he still bullying Midoriya? Did you ever cross his mind?
Was he happy?
Because more than anything, you wished him happiness - even if that happiness was not with you. Was that weakness? Was wishing for someone’s happiness, who could care less about you, considered weakness?
“Hm?” Your mom turns to you, “Oh! That was Mitsuki Bakugou. Her son, Katsuki - I believe you went to school with him? Well, he needs a part-time job to help pay for tuition. Can you believe he got into U.A.? Mitsuki must be so proud of him.”
“I figured you’d be happy,” she continues, " I know you’ve been struggling with balancing school and work, so I thought having another person around would help lighten the load a little bit. Besides, I owed Mitsuki a favor.”
Your mother blushes at the last part.
Favor? What favor?
But that’s the last thing on your mind when you suddenly feel the need to pass out.
Katsuki… is… working… here?
“Honey, are you okay? You look a little pale.”
“I - I’m not sure I can…” you trail off. Your mom didn’t know about your confession to Katsuki. When you came home in tears that day, with your dress all wrinkled, you told her it was because kids were bullying you for trying and failing to get into U.A.
It was the half-truth.
“Y/N, did something happen between you and Katsuki? I can call Mitsuki back right now if you don’t feel comfortable with him around.”
It was as easy as breathing or using your quirk, second nature, all you had to do was utter a two letter word and your mom would immediately have Mitsuki on the line, apologizing for the inconvenience, but making sure to recommend a few places in the area who were hiring. A simple “no” and your world would become right side up again, the boy you loved long forgotten during the day and only remembered at night when there’s nothing to consume your mind, but him.
Taking the easy way called out to you, beckoning you to relinquish your strength, and give in. But if you couldn’t face one boy, then maybe Katsuki was right. Maybe you were weak.
“I’m fine, mom, I can work with him,” you say.
Pounding footsteps against the pavement outside cut your mom off from her next words.
“OI! LET ME GO, OLD WOMAN, I’LL KILL YOU!”
“CALL ME THAT ONE MORE TIME AND SEE WHERE IT GETS YOU!”
Your breath hitches at the sound. You haven’t heard that voice in over a year; it’s gotten deeper, raspier in tone. You take a few breaths in and out to calm yourself so you don’t melt into the floor at first glance.
The door swings open - the “We’re Open” sign rattles dangerously against the glass - and in barges Mitsuki Bakugou, dragging her son by the ear.
Katsuki struggles to get out of his mother’s grasp, his arms stretch toward the door, but Mitsuki pulls him all the way inside.
“I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAINING, WOMAN!”
“AND NOW YOU’RE IN THE MIDDLE OF GETTING A JOB!”
“I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS SHIT!”
“YOU’LL MAKE TIME!”
Katsuki growls. His palms curving into themselves like he’s trying to reign in his quirk from exploding Paradise Blooms where it stands.
You and your mom look at each other, unsure how to inject yourselves in the rather awkward exchange. Truthfully, you’re not surprised by the interaction; you’ve seen Katsuki and his family at school events in the past. The Bakugous had an… interesting family dynamic.
Mitsuki notices the both of you watching and immediately releases Katsuki. She smiles and greets your mom with a hug as if the previous interaction never happened.
“Y/Mom’s/N, it’s great to see you! How’s the event planning coming along?”
Your mom and Mitsuki engage in small talk for a couple minutes leaving you to sneak a quick glance over at Katsuki leaning against the door. He’s looking out the window with a scowl on his face. He crosses his arms to stop himself from fisting his palms, a sign you picked up on when he’s itching to get on the field and obliterate.
You find yourself thinking how beautiful and destructive at the same time.
Once Mitsuki and your mom finish catching up, she directs her attention towards you.
“And you must be Y/N? Your mother has told me so much about you!”
You catch the flash of recognition in Katsuki’s eyes, but you’re wrapped in a hug before you can think. The hug is a bit awkward with the counter digging into your side, but the warmth radiating off Mitsuki makes you feel at home. She lets go of you and turns around to where Katsuki is still standing by the door, ready to leave the first chance he gets.
“And this is my son, Katsuki,” she beckons him over, but when he doesn’t move she barks, “Don’t be rude! Get over here and introduce yourself.”
Katsuki grumbles under his breath, but trudges over.
“Sup.”
Mitsuki growls and slaps Katsuki over the head, “Oi! Where are your manners!?”
She glances apologetically, “I’m sorry. He’s… a bit much to handle. I really appreciate you agreeing to hire him. He’s had trouble in the past with defying authority.”
Katsuki scowls at the ground when Mitsuki pats his head affectionately this time.
“But he’s a good kid at heart, a little rough around the edges, but overall a good kid. I hope you’re able to see that and work with him.”
She bows; her hand on Katsuki’s head nudges him to do the same. His nose twitches, but he listens this time.
Your mother is an empathetic person, able to walk all paths of life and notice the beauty in each one. It wasn’t like her to turn someone down in need.
Your mom smiles, “I’m happy to work with Katsuki. What about you, Y/N?”
She’s giving you a way out for the last time.
Mitsuki looks at you, hope in her eyes.
Doubt laid out its hand for you to take; to lead you away from the pain that still ate away at you everyday. The teasing. The pointing. The rejection from U.A. and from Katsuki. Working with him would force you to face the pain head on.
“I’ll never love a weak girl like you.”
You lock eyes with Katsuki for the first time since that day many moons ago; he’s awaiting your answer, a twinge of hope laced in his eyes overshadowed by a grimace.
You wonder if you now hold the fuel to the fire threatening to burn the tiny seed of hope he’s trying so hard to bury.
For better or for worse, you were also a person who found beauty in all paths of life.
“Welcome aboard,” you say.

touch // t. shigaraki
A/N: My take on the bnharem server angst collab. I hope you all enjoy!
CHARACTER PAIRING: Shigaraki Tomura x Reader
WORD COUNT: 2,013
WARNINGS: sadness... that is all.
SYNOPSIS: Shigaraki finally finds someone who loves him more than anything in the world. what could possibly go wrong?
Want to get your heart broken some more? Click here !
having an odd quirk didn’t stop you from trying to become a hero. after all, you weren’t someone who needed to be on the front lines, someone who needed constant praise and admiration, you just wanted to help; but, just because you want something doesn’t mean that it would work out, and your hopes and dreams were shattered over and over again.
“you’re just not that useful enough.”
that’s the line you heard over and over again. it didn’t matter that you passed the entrance exams with flying colors, that, despite not being able to use your quirk to fight back, you still tried your hardest to prove that you could be useful.
your quirk was that you couldn’t be affected by other quirks. any blast of flame your way, any painful touch to your body, any rock tossed towards you used by a quirk would simply slide off your body like water off of a duck's back. being invincible to other people was something that, in your mind, could be useful. you could be on the front lines, taking hits and distracting villains, but because you didn’t have much offensive power, it just wasn’t something that the hero world was looking for.
you thought you had accepted your fate, that you were never meant to be helpful and would be stuck with some desk job for the rest of the night, when the LoV caught wind of someone who couldn’t be hurt by quirks. they sent Dabi out, and when you stared amusedly at him after he had attempted to burn you to a crisp, too tired to even care about who this strange man was, you finally found your place.
Dabi explained in wondrous fashion who he was, the ideals of Stain and the goals of the LoV, spinning a tale of acceptance and a world where the real heroes would rule. you were skeptical, but after meeting people like Toga and Twice, seeing how everyone was a true unit, you accepted it without much thought. after all, you only wanted to be useful to someone, wanted to do good in the world, and it seemed like this place was as good as it was going to get.
you ran through some tests with all the members, proving time and time again that your quirk was rock solid. it was only when Shigaraki saw for himself, grasping your shoulder almost painfully with all five fingers, that you were officially initiated into the League.
your tasks were small and simple, nobody wanting to let the sweet ray of sunshine become decayed by the evils that they were truly doing. you didn’t kill, you didn’t get your hands bloody, but over time, you would’ve done anything for them. they took you in without a second thought, seeing who you were and your true potential, nurturing you and making you a part of a family you never thought you would truly have.
your relationship with Shigaraki was a complicated one. you didn’t particularly admire him or worship him like many of the other members did, you definitely didn’t even trust him very much, but you knew better than to question anything. it was only when you saw what he did for his members by getting revenge on Overhaul that you really started to see the man that he was, the man that was as dedicated to his people as they were to him.
after that, you began talking to the odd, gangly man more. it unnerved him at first, wondering what had changed, not necessarily liking the situation, but once you unabashedly explained how you saw what he did and how you felt about him after the fact, did he finally begin to let loose and talk to you.
the conversations started off simple, asking about what game he was playing, about simple plans that were going on, but that quickly turned into life aspirations, deep philosophical ideals and even your past, your history. the connection only grew deeper and turned into an unbreakable bond, a true, rare display of love between someone who shined brighter than the sun and someone who casted all the shadows on a deep, dark night.
loving Shigaraki was easier than you thought it would be, but still difficult. his fascination with you was endless, and you never really understood why until he confessed.
“i love that i’m able to touch you without you turning to ash. i always thought of myself as someone who could only destroy, but with you, i can be in love.”
you cried in his arms all evening long, so overwhelmed with emotions for him and about him that you thought you would drown. you didn’t realize how much destruction he truly created and were unbelievably happy that your quirk brought you to him, to this man who needed someone to hold more than anything in the world.
the road to love was bumpy and full of pain, and there were many times where you thought that he was the evilest man alive, but you always went back because you loved him more than anything in the world.
on one particular night, he had thrown a tantrum, frustrated that you were asking for attention when he wanted to be left alone. you usually threw one back, angry at the situation, but that night, you had simply walked out. it was three days of acting as if he didn’t exist before he came to your door late at night.
“it’s 2am, i know that, but i need you...”
you hadn’t wanted to let him in, still hurt by the interaction, but you knew that you wouldn’t be able to hold out and eventually caved, letting him love you and be loved, carding his fingers through your hair and holding you tight, never wanting to let go of the feeling of love.
that conversation tended to happen often, but each time, you would open the door, allowing the man with the broken heart lick his wounds and regain his pride. you knew how he was, you knew he was sorry every time, and so you allowed it without question, because being loved and wanted was something you never wanted to give up.
that was, until, you watched him decay a man for looking at you wrong. you knew Shigaraki wasn’t a hero, wasn’t someone to be admired and looked up to by children, but you grew to care for all of him, good and bad. you believed in his plan, in the greater good of everything. you didn’t know that he could be someone who would kill an innocent man, someone who may have had a family, into obliteration, because he didn’t like the way the man looked at you.
that night he came, late and pleading for forgiveness, but for the first time ever, you didn’t let him in. your soft cries echoed in the barren room, heartbroken and confused on what was going on. the anger and distrust lasted for weeks, but when it came time to leave on a mission of sorts, you did so without hesitation. despite your feeling for Shigaraki, you were a part of the team, and would do whatever was needed for him and the cause.
it was a weird night, the feelings were off, and everyone was on edge. you all felt as if things were going too easy for you, and that was never good. it was only when the heroes arrived did you realize what was going on. without question, you threw yourself in the front lines, recognizing some familiar faces from your time as a wannabe hero yourself, but tonight, tonight you were a true villain.
you stood in the front of the crowd, deflecting every and all attack, giving a massive advantage to the League, allowing them to take the offensive stance despite being overwhelmed. things were going good, until they weren’t. without warning, you were thrown into a wall, your head slamming against concrete and your vision going fuzzy.
Pro-hero Eraserhead had shown up to the scene and diffused your quirk. you never knew that he had the ability to cancel your own, as you thought all quirks against you were immune, but you had never tried anything except physical attacks.
despite this, you shook yourself off and went back to deflecting attacks, taking hits and getting right back up, unable to stop yourself from helping just one more time.
“Shigaraki, come here. i have a plan,” you screeched, running to the side.
“you need to run behind me. i’m going to attack him and when he activates his quirk on me, kill him.”
he stared at you dumbfounded, not understanding how someone who hated this side of him so much would be encouraging this behavior, but he didn’t question it, just nodding his head and getting back into position. right now, the only important thing was winning.
you started your attack quickly, running to him, deflecting the quirks people were throwing your way, ignoring the warnings from both your side and theirs. Shigaraki followed suit quickly, ducking so that he would be protected by your body.
you were so close, so close in succeeding. you were mere inches from Aizawa when he turned his head and grabbed you by the neck, silencing your quirk with his eyes. Shigaraki wasn’t paying attention, too enamored with the fact that he was about to decimate someone who had foiled his plans one too many times, and his hand slipped.
Aizawa didn’t mean to, tried to throw you towards the ground, avert his eyes, but Shigaraki was too quick, and his hand met the back of your head. there was no sound made, no voice of goodbye or i love you, before your body turned to ash in front of him. there was a moment of silence between the two, before Aizawa lowered his hand and ran away, back into the fray of the fight.
Shigaraki crumbled to his knees, not caring about anything else in the moment except the feeling of pure anguish. he had killed you, killed you without even blinking. you probably didn’t even have a chance to register what had happened. your life was just taken from you, the love you two shared, the future you were supposed to have together, just gone in the blink of an eye. he finally realized why you were so upset that he had killed that man, understanding the anguish his family probably felt at not being with their loved one anymore. the League had to drag him away from the scene and his own thoughts, having been defeated now that their main asset had been killed.
he stammered out to everyone how he didn’t mean to, how Aizawa canceled your quirk and threw you into his hand, how they were going to pay for killing you, and no one questioned him. everyone knew of the love you two shared, and despite being mad at each other, they knew that Shigaraki would never hurt you. what they didn’t know what that Shigaraki was so bloodthirsty, so ready and willing to kill that he wasn’t careful enough, and that was why you were dead.
life continued on for him after that, but he was not the same leader anymore. there was a wall that no one could really break down, a barrier much like his lovers that allowed each and every feeling of love, affection, gratitude, admiration, roll off his back. his sole focus was the goals of the League now, and anything that got in the way, good or bad, was a distraction and was eliminated without a second thought.
to Shigaraki, you were everything he couldn’t be and more. you were bright, happy, positive, so fucking loving, and made him a better person, better than he could ever imagine he would be. without you, he was nothing, and he reminded himself every day of the world he could’ve lived in, the type of man he could’ve been, if only you were still by his side.

My Review of Rent-A-Girlfriend
How did I get into this anime? Let’s just say due to a few websites I frequent around decided to be little whore-ish, I became curious by this particular title. Let’s just say they were mentioning this one at least every other day prior to the premier. So out of natural curiosity and knowing nothing of what I’m getting into, I decided to add another Friday anime to my watch list. I guess Fridays are my busy day for watching anime!
Kazuya Kinoshita is a 20 year old college student. Life seems to be going well for him until his girlfriend decides to dump him.
Not even 30 seconds into this anime and this sad-sack gets dumped!
SERIOUSLY! 18 SECONDS! NEW FRIGGIN’ RECORD!!!
So after Kazuya gets dumped, he ends up on a website and before you know it, he’s made arrangements to go on a date with a rented girlfriend! Yes, these are very much a thing. You can go to a website and pay a woman to go on a date with you. Apparently, Japan has a lot of these services and it does get a little ewwie with it so I’m gonna move on with the synopsis.
The girl he ends up going out with is named Chizuru Ichinose. The first date seemed to be going well, but Kazuya felt off by this girl. He just thought Chizuru was just playing with her clients hearts, plus he’s still a little heart-broken from his previous girlfriend, so he gives her a bad review. So when they go on their second date, Chizuru’s cutesy, sweet act is replaced with someone who is tempermental and sassy.
Just then, Kazuya gets word his grandmother collapsed!
I know it’s weird in the synopsis, but just go with it!
With word of his grandmother in the hospital, Kazuya ends up taking Chizuru to the hospital with him. Turns out Kazuya’s family jumped to the obvious conclusion that this girl is his girlfriend and they went nuts. Mostly at the fact that their son actually got a cute girlfriend! Add another layer of WTF to this cake, Chizuru’s grandmother is in this exact, same hospital as Kazuya’s grandmother. And both ladies are over the moon that these two are dating (even though that’s far from the truth). Chizuru hasn’t even told her family that she’s working at Rent-a-Waifu! Well, let’s just break things off and let the family down easy.
Oh, look! They both go to the same university. Oh look! They’re also next door neighbors. I smell shenanigans!
BETWEEN THE SUB AND THE DUB: At this moment, the only one streaming this series is Crunchyroll. A few weeks into the premier, Crunchyroll started airing a dub. As for the sub, this is my first time really listening to the main lead’s seiyuu, Shun Horie. But the rest of the cast has a nice mixture of memorable voices like Aoi Yuuki, Rie Takahashi, Sora Amamiya, Gakuto Kajiwara…oh fuck!
DAMMIT ASTA, STOP HAUNTING MY EAR-DRUMS!
As for the dub, Crunchyroll is currently publishing an episode once a week. The dub is just okay in my opinion, really nothing to write home about. The only thing I can say is that Aleks Le did a fairly-decent job voicing Kazuya. After voicing Zenitsu last year, he’s got a knack for voicing wimpy twats. Here’s what you might recognize these folks from.
JAPANESE CAST: *Kazuya is played by Shun Horie
*Chizuru is played by Sora Amamiya (known for Toka on Tokyo Ghoul, Aqua on Konosuba, Miia on Monster Musume, Akame on Akame ga Kill, Elizabeth on Seven Deadly Sins, and Yachiyo on Magia Record)
*Mami is played by Aoi Yuuki (known for Iris on Pokemon BW, Madoka on Madoka Magica, Kayo on ERASED, Yuuki on SAO II, Tatsumaki on One Punch Man, Tamaki on Fire Force, and Kinako on Inazuma Eleven GO)
*Ruka is played by Nao Touyama (known for Chitoge on Nisekoi, Koga on Bunny Girl Senpai, Nii on Blue Exorcist, Akira on Kono Oto Tomare, Momo onAi Tenchi Muyo
ENGLISH CAST: *Kazuya is played by Aleks Le (known for Zenitsu on Demon Slayer and Ake on Shield Hero)
*Chizuru is played by Lizzie Freeman (known for Cardinal on SAO: Alicization, Iwanaga on In/Spectre, Trish on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Pt. 5, and Felicia on Magia Record)
*Mami is played by Laura Stahl (known for Ray on The Promised Neverland)
*Ruka is played by Sarah Williams (known for Sayaka on Madoka Magica, Felix on Re:Zero, Nonon on Kill la Kill, Mirai on Boruto, Lisbeth on SAO, and Puck on Berserk 2016)
DISLIKED CHARACTER: And now, a poem…
Roses are red Mami’s a cunt…
That’s the poem.
SHIPPING: I can honestly say I didn’t expect the Rent-a-Girlfriend and the Ex-Bitch to meet each other in the second episode. Even after going on a few dates with Chizuru, Kazuya still finds himself “beating his meat” to the thought of his ex, Mami. Only for the girls to beat your meat to change places just a few episodes later!
Oh yes, it’s that kind of series! Kazuya jacks off quite a bit.
Kazuya x Chizuru: At times it feels like Kazuya is really falling for Chizuru for who she really is and not the façade she puts up as a rental girlfriend. But I guess the number of awkward setups and situations these two have been thrown in throughout the series can do that to Kazuya. I mean, how else do you expect Kazuya jacking it off to Chizuru when he’s trying to think of his ex?! Yeah, he’s lied to his family, Chizuru’s grandmother, and all of his friends about this relationship and this relationship is as fake as a three-dollar bill. But there are a few genuine moments that show these two care for each other. Kazuya was ballsy enough to jump off a moving boat to save Chizuru when she fell overboard. And Kazuya felt concerned when Chizuru was thinking about leaving the rental girlfriend profession. Though that could be Kazuya being a pathetic sack of shit and wanting to continue this farce relationship and paying a girl for some attention! It’s so hard to say something kind about Kazuya wanting this relationship to work. But for what it’s worth, I like the farce ship better than the next thing I’m going to speak about.
Kazuya x Mami: I don’t like this bitch and I hate this ship. From the get-go you go in hating this succubus. And when we see her again in episode 2, bitches be bitches! Getting drunk in a public setting and making fun of Kazuya not being man enough for her (in the sexual sense). Then, we get Mami trying to go home with Kazuya when Chizuru is gone. But we don’t stop there, she’s trying at every opportunity to make Kazuya drop everything and fall in love with her again. She’s the one that dumped him, but can’t stand seeing Kazuya with anyone else (no matter the awkward circumstances). It’s clear that Mami has severe jealousy issues. I mean, Chizuru is prettier and nicer than Mami. Meanwhile, Mami is a manipulative scum-wad with the charm of a poisonous snake.
Kazuya x Ruka: Ruka was a rental girlfriend from a different agency and was on a double date with Kazuya, Chizuru, and Kazuya’s idiot friend that sounds like Asta. But due to several misunderstandings between Kazuya and Ruka, turns out Kazuya is the only man to get her heart rate up. So Ruka cuts ties with the idiot friend who hired her and has set sights on Kazuya. And she will fight for her man no matter what. She’s even ballsy enough to interrupt Kazuya’s family celebration of New Years by coming in like an asteroid to fuck things up. At this point in the series, Kazuya’s grandmother is dead-set on him marrying Chizuru. Any other girl is shit compared to her! But Ruka will continue to do her thing. Even applying to the same job that Kazuya works at!
Kazuya x Sumi! You expect me to say something about this? They had one bleeping date! And she’s barely seen outside of the opening and ending themes. If there’s more interactions in season two, holla back at me because this ain’t happening. Although, I’ll support the fuck out of this ship over Kazuya x Mami!
BIG SIMPIN’: So being an older millennial (or X-ennial as I’m currently classified under), I am not hip to the lingo of these youngins. Because of Kazuya, the internet uproared by calling him a phrase known as a “simp”. Well, I don’t want to seem like some out-of-touch boomer. So I’m just going to look up this “simp” term and see if this is legitimate. Let’s see what the Slang-tionary says.
“Simp is a slang insult for men who are seen as too attentive and submissive to women, especially out of a failed hope of winning some entitled sexual attention or activity from them.”
Okay. I think it’s time for the rap interlude of this review.
I don't know what you heard about him But a bitch will get every dollar out of him No cherry-poppin’ as you can see That he’s a motherfucking S-I-M-P
ENDING: Being a rental girlfriend isn’t something Chizuru wants to do, but this gives her practice in what she really wants to do, which is become an actor. And as of recently, Chizuru has been thinking about quitting the rental girlfriend agency. So what would happen if Chizuru quit being a rental girlfriend? That’s a question for another day and another season!
So only a few people have learned about Kazuya and Chizuru’s relationship being the most complicated farce in anime history. Halfway into the series with Ruka’s introduction, she caught on about Chizuru being a rental girlfriend. And because of that incident, Kazuya decided to come clean to his idiot friend, Shun. When Shun hired Ruka to be his rental girlfriend, dude was on top of the world. But when Ruka exposed what he did in front of Kazuya, Shun got severely depressed. Kazuya decides to pay for Chizuru to take Shun out on a date. That’s when Shun finds out that Kazuya hired Chizuru after Mami dumped him.
You know what? I have to spring this up! How long did you think Kazuya was going to hide the rental girlfriend thing to his friends? He’s friends with a bunch of stinkin’ virgins. Lonely, stinkin’ virgins! Plus, if Chizuru is rated #1 on a Google search for top rental girlfriends (as it was established in episode 10), I’m surprised no one else caught on, including the grandmothers. Kazuya’s grandmother is constantly playing on her smart phone. Shun is on the internet all the time. I’m surprised there isn’t an annoying pop-up ad in Japanese Google that would flash at them at any point saying, “Meet legal Japanese chicks in your area” redirecting them to the rental girlfriend website. Followed by giving you a gnarly computer virus!
Well, we’re 10 episodes in a 12 episode series. Why not finally introduce the fourth girl that we’ve been seeing in the opening and ending themes all season?! Chizuru asked Kazuya for a favor to go out with the new rental girlfriend at the agency to help boost her confidence. Enter, Sumi! The best way to describe this silent, moe-blob is a less busty version of Mikuru Asahina. Kazuya and Sumi’s date went over somewhat okay. Kazuya saved Sumi from a bunch of thugs. And while Sumi was silent throughout the entire date, she managed to squeak out a thank you at the end. So not a bad date, right?
Unfortunately, during the date, Mami saw them and trailed them. And it went down just as you would imagine! Mami confronts Kazuya, Kazuya comes up with some bullshit lie to Mami, Sumi is still silent, and Mami is up to no good after she leaves.
Because Mami learned Sumi’s full name, she went to the internet to find a profile or something on a social network. That’s when Mami learned that not only Sumi was a rental girlfriend, but Chizuru as well. It’s not so bad that Shun knows about Chizuru, but if Mami finds out, game over. Game over, Kazuya! So what happens next?
Mami catfished Chizuru by calling her out for a date using the rental girlfriend website! Then they go to the karaoke bar Kazuya works at for their “date”.
GAME OVER KAZUYA! GAME OVER! You lost all 5 lives. Please return to world 1 and may God have mercy on your simpin’ ass!
Kazuya watched their date from a distance (and this time he didn’t get caught eavesdropping like the last time he followed Chizuru). And after a cute mention of the singers to the opening and ending theme to the series, Mami and Chizuru end their date with an exchanging of words. All this proved is that Mami is still a jealous bitch with a dead look in her eyes and Chizuru likes Kazuya. We think! Either Chizuru meant what she said to Mami or she’s a really good actress. When Chizuru came back to the apartment complex, Kazuya met her outside and thanked her for what she said to Mami followed by a confession.
Ah yes, a confession of love! As the credits roll, we see flashbacks of the past 12 episodes and end the series on a cute note and a possible opening to an OVA and we can end from…
Oh wait, there’s more!
Kazuya says he wants Chizuru to continue being his rental girlfriend. Because he knows she’s planning on quitting the rental girlfriend business! So he smooths that over! Both played this off with a wary poker face, but behind closed doors, they are sweating bullets.
OH, and season two has been green-lit. Fabulous!
This anime was addicting to watch. I don’t know if it was as addicting as Uzaki-chan. Then again, I picked to watch Rent-a-Girlfriend over Uzaki-chan. But this was an addicting train-wreck! Watching this dumbass try to fool his family and friends that he really was able to get a cute girlfriend for a full year! How the hell could anyone fall for that mess? People still watched this dumpster fire of a relationship right, so why bitch about the stupidity of Simpy McSimperson over here? I am glad we’re getting a second season because we really didn’t get a chance to see much of Sumi. I know she’s no contender when you put her next to the great Chizuru, but good golly, give this girl some screentime aside from the one episode she got. They made her seem like she was going to be a big player in this anime, but only getting a bit role. I also want to see if Mami is going to redeem herself from the cunt we saw since 18 seconds into the series. I seriously doubt it, but it just gives me more reason to cuss at the computer, calling her every horrible name in the book. And as for Ruka…there’s nothing to say. She’s just gonna be second best no matter what the fuck happens.
As addicting as this anime was, I can’t ignore how many times I had to facepalm at every, stupid action done by Kazuya. I mean, several times per episode, butt-for-brains does something stupid that makes us say, “Dude, WTF” or “Bruh”. Lying to your family, lying to your friends, giving a bad review to your rental girlfriend for giving you great service, jacking it to your ex when you’re clearly hot for Chizuru, following a guy around because he spends the day with Chizuru, and it just goes on and on! You want to root for this twerp in hopes he gets the girl of his dreams in the end, but at the same time, you’re like, “This guy is a total dink.”
Oh, let’s see what season two has to offer…whenever that comes.
In the meantime, if you’d like to check out Rent-A-Girlfriend, Crunchyroll has all 12 episodes available in both sub and dub.

The only ending everyone seems to ignore is v3 because it’s just... it’s just a mess.
How do feel about this game survivors? And do you think that everyone woke up from the simulator or tv show like sdr2 or only the survivors?
Hoo boy...
Honestly nonny, having only finished the dang thing yesterday I... don't know.
(I kinda went off into a spiel, so feel free to skip to the part where I talk about survivors and what I think happens next)
I understand the mixed response a LOT. I mean- I see what they were going for. The 4th wall break was cool, and the (sorta?) reappearance of past characters was pretty damn awesome. I like that the creators are definitely self aware- and there's a kind of 'learn to laugh at yourself' sort of thing.
On the other hand it can almost seem a little too mocking?
I get the whole yaknow. 'Fictional characters are aware they're fictional and rebel against their creators' thing but- like-?
As I mentioned before, thing is, Tsumugi is not us? We aren't exactly intentionally cruel? There's a BIG difference between the kind of fiction in our world and in their world.
What does Tsumugi call it? "Real fiction"?. Yeah- thing is- we don't have that. We don't have the technology for it, and I certainly hope we wouldn't abandon ethics for it either!!! We can't have 'real' fiction, because in our world, all fiction is fake! The closest you have is fiction about real people, perhaps, but- that's not even remotely the same thing?
So it does come across as a little... um- preachy.
We're supposed to represent the audience but... like- the audience fucking suck! What was that they said during the argument armament? "This guy should have died instead of Kaede!" Like- fucking hell. Imagine saying that to someone, who can HEAR you say it, and who's MURDER you could potentially watch unfold before your very eyes as a result of YOUR actions. I mean- look how empathetic some of us are to ACTUAL fictional characters. Could you imagine if we were in a similar situation to the outside world in V3???
Maybe it's because I keep imagining the v3 cast as like- sentient AI, instead of "just fiction". Because I can't imagine anyone being so sadistic or apathetic otherwise.
So uh- yeah. I don't... know how I feel about that. It's not- very satisfying?
With sdr2, the whole "none of this is real, the killing game is all a lie, you're in a fake world!" felt like a relief ! Whereas here it's more like- "what?? It's all fake? What the hell was the point then?!"
"Nothing matters!" vs "nothing matters..."
The whole HOPE VS DESPAIR, FUTURE VS PAST thing worked, because, well, it's something we can all understand. We have all felt hope and we have all felt despair. We've all, at some point in our lives, felt stuck in the past, unable to or scared to move on.
(Hey- some of us still feel like that now, even).
The first game was very simple- hope and despair. Still relatable, but fairly basic- effective to set up the foundation for the follow up.
The second game made things a little more complicated. Sometimes it's more complicated then just- choosing between Hope and Despair. We refuse to fall into Despair, but we can't just blindly have Hope.
So we choose the Future. We can't promise it'll be a good one OR a bad one. But whatever happens- we need to move on. The only way we can make things change is by making that choice, to create our OWN future.
V3 felt very... complex. It started to get kind of... uh... philosophical? And- don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with that. It just... it kind of shifted from TRUTH VS LIE to FICTION VS REALITY. And whilst the latter definitely sounds interesting- I don't really know if I liked the direction they took with it-? I wish they'd kept the focus on TRUTH VS LIE a lot more.
(Fiction and Reality are like extensions of Lie and Truth but- only to a certain extent? Really?)
It's kind of harder to get into the final fight in V3 because... what are you fighting? The outside world? I mean- I can't speak for the rest of you, but as far as I'm aware I'm not a fictional character.
(If I am- then wow someone's a reallly bad writer huh?)
I can relate to Hope. I can relate to Future.
I can't relate to Fiction.
I THOUGHT maybe the message was a warning of the dangers of escapism ('please dont go as far as to erase your own personality just to be a part of a type of fiction you like' definitely seems fitting for this fandom)- but the message "fiction has the power to change the world!" kinda contradicts that. I mean- I do like that message, but- I don't like the idea of a series about killing games being heavily influential-!
The whole problem was that people grew so obsessed with the series that they threw away their lives! Is that not the point you should be focusing on-!!!!
The outside world in this universe fucking sucks. So they changed their mind, big DEAL! that's not comforting knowing they let this shit continue for 53 seasons-! I mean, maybe Makoto and Hajime were all 100% fictional, but at some point they started putting real people into these games, and everyone was ok with that!
I just-
I'm glad Shuichi got through to them at last but...
Someone said something which resonated with me- "in a vacuum, this is good". Like... on it's own, I thought the ending was great! It was entertaining, for sure. And the whole concept and stuff was unexpected and interesting. You gotta give em points for originality.
The problem comes with it being the 3rd game in a series. (Ignoring UDG I mean-). When a series becomes a Trilogy, you gotta make it good. This is presumably the last game in the (main) series too. And- after the UTTER NARRATIVE DISAPPOINTMENT of dr3- can you blame people for wanting more? People fell in love for THH and SDR2 (and UDG even if its not part of the main series) for a reason- and, for me at least, a biiiig part of that reason was the continued storyline. The last chapter of sdr2 was the hypest shit EVER. when you see glimpses of the previous game bleed into this one, only for it to turn into what's like- a full crossover???? The previous game isn't just mentioned, it's a straight up sequel!!!! I had absolutely no idea Makoto and co would return (i thought the games were separate) so when i saw that they'd be interacting with the new cast- yoooooooooooooooo-!
Hell, even seeing alter ego again made me go WILD.
V3 plays upon these expectations, and subverts them, but... not necessarily in a good way? You- kind of feel cheated? (Idk if you're an avengers fan, but- it's like expecting *Endgame* and instead getting...
Well- Endgame).
The ending isn't bad persay it's just- not quite what one would expect? I can definitely understand why people are disappointed. The problem is, instead of standing alone, you can't help but consider it as part of the series. Individually, I don't think the ending was that weak or bad, but in comparison to the series as a whole?
Meh.
SURVIVORS
(Oh my- I really got off track, oh dear. I'll- get back to what you asked now.)
KEEBO
W H Y
They rllly gonna rub salt in the wound huh?
(Whilst i dont dislike the other survivors, there are a LOT of people i really really wanted to see make it to the end, and it's just the final god damn nail in the coffin to kill off the last of the few characters I came even close to liking the most-)
Killing keebo was dumb
Maki- I liked Maki quite a bit! She's a bit cold, yeah, but I warmed up to her after hearing her backstory.
I found it annoying (if understandable) that no one trusted her at first. I thought it was sweet that her, Kaito and Shuichi had this friendship trio. They really trusted each other- it was very refreshing. I also love me a strong girl. Her romance thing with Kaito was a little... forced. I'd have found it more meaningful if they kept it more subtle/ambiguous (though i suppose they needed smth to use against her in the final trial sooo-).
Himiko-
I-
*sigh*
Ok I'm going to say this once, and once only.
Someoneonthedrteamhasabigthingforlolis
OK! I SAID IT- AND IM NEVER SAYING IT AGAIN
No judgement here of course. Just. Uh. Y-yeah-
(I'm mainly kidding of course, idek if Himiko counts as a loli but-)
I mean... I'm not... the fondest of very small, childish girl characters (Saionji intensifies). I like a bit of childishness in a character but- i mean- it depends.
(I'll never recover from the "seductive whisper" thing from the love suite event
Never.
Never ever.)
Himiko comes across as like An Actual Child at times and at the start it was VERY annoying. Surprisingly, I warmed up to her eventually. I knew in advance she'd be a survivor so i kinda thought "well she's gonna stick around so might as well try to like her". I do appreciate that she underwent a character arc too, and it was sweet to see how she became a more active, determined person. I wish it hadn't taken Tenko's death for her to finally start changing but whatever. She is quite a cute character and after a while became more endearing then annoying.... (for the most part).
Was she in my top 3 picks for a survivor? No.
The top 10 even?
N-no-
I'm glad she's still alive though. SOMEONE damn well needs to be.
Tsumugi- ah. She's not a survivor, is she? I knew well in advance she was the mastermind so I didn't really warm up to her all that much during the final chapters, for obvious reasons.
Shuichi- if shuichi hadn't survived I think that would have been the breaking point for me, honestly.
Overall- uh... they aren't... the ideal picks. Shuichi is the only one I really wanted to see survive, I was neutral towards the others. Tbh I was just happy anyone was alive by the end of that.
Waking up- for the sake of my sanity, I like to think that after the survivors wake up, they threaten to sue and/or maim the shit out of the dr team if they don't start on reanimating their 'dead' friends right fucking now. Surely they gotta keep their consciousness' somewhere in those memories banks right? I mean- what if they ever wanted a "surprise return from the dead" plotline? Surely they gotta keep em somewhere? Right?
Whether or not they reawaken as their in-game or pre-game selves, who knows. Whichever you prefer, I guess. Maybe a mixture of both.
#ahdhsjsjsj#i am Tired ^tm#this makes me sound more disappointed with the ending than i am djskshsjs#im not actually as salty as i sound ok i promise-#im just naturally pessimistic#ironic coming from a makoto stan but wygd#v3#rambling#thoughts#my post#anon#long#jajakdjsjs i went overboard again oops

Andi Mack 3x20 Review
We Were Here was a historic episode that finally let Cyrus and TJ canon and was the best ending the series could hope for. Let’s dig in!
It’s been a long road but Cyrus Goodman and Thelonious Jagger Kippen are now boyfriends and we witnessed two gay boys holding hands on Disney Channel. It took two thirds of the series but we’ve gone from the muffin scene to the bench scene.
There’s a lot of obvious censorship and flaws to write about but I’ll do that later and for tonight I’d look to focus on all the good in this episode and this series.
Tyrus are the first canon gay couple on Disney Channel but they won’t be the last and one day, hopefully soon, it won’t be seen as a historic or unusual event to have LGBTQ rep on children’s tv.
Josh and Luke did such a great job with this whole story line and they killed it in the bench scene, so much depended on their body language and facial expressions and it was a beautiful scene. When they both exhaled after holding hands, that was powerful.
I liked that we saw Cyrus go out to initiate the conversation but it was TJ who reached out with his hand and took that risk to bring them together. A callback of sorts to his first conversation with Cyrus where he told him to ‘’walk to the muffin like you already own it’’.
TJ has always been an active character and we saw that in full force tonight as he stood up for Cyrus and ended his friendship with Kira and then went up on stage and started playing Born This Way and of course he was the one to take Cyrus’ hand.
The one good thing I’ll say about the Kira plot is that she was disposed of early and only got a minute of screen time and she thankfully didn’t get redeemed. Her line about TJ choosing Cyrus over her probably registers as her demanding TJ only be friends with her to kids but to those in the know it’s a clear ultimatum to either be straight with her or gay with Cyrus. Loved TJ’s line that she melted after he threw water on her.
Really good character development for TJ as the former bully stands up to a bully. TJ has had such an amazing arc from the mean basketball captain introduced in 2x03; there really was a nice person inside of him trying to get out and Cyrus helped him with that. And even in the finale we still learn new things about him: his name, that his mom is a piano teacher, that he plays the piano, and for the casual audience that he’s gay and likes Cyrus.
I’d guess we’re meant to see TJ starting Born that Way as a statement of sorts on his part, especially since Cyrus is the one to start singing and he later moves to join TJ on stage and it’s their performance that leads to the bench scene.
I’m happy that the bench itself was 3 minutes and that Tyrus got ample screen time in the finale as did Muffy. I’m glad that Luke got to choose TJ’s name and it’s very on brand that he snuck a Shrek reference into it. And kudos to Terri for getting the bench scene approved and for getting the last 40 seconds of the scene where Tyrus canons to actually air.
It was definitely random and I did not expect them to land the rights to a Lady Gaga song but it was a fun scene and it was nice to see most of the cast involved; this must have been what Lilan meant when she said at Fan Fest that we’d see characters interacting who had never interacted before.
Muffy was great. I’m really glad they brought Garren back, whatever other ending they would have had to write for Buffy just wouldn’t have had the same impact. Loved that they call backed to their first conversation. Liked that Marty chased after Buffy and that after she told him how she felt that he was the one to grab her hands and kiss her and then put his arm around her before they walked back in to the party. Probably the sweetest kiss we’ve seen on the series and a very fitting end for the Muffy story line.
Liked the Jandi scene, I’m sure they’ll get back together when they’re older and I’m glad they brought the bracelet back. Jonah saying ‘’Love you Andiman’’ was so sweet and a great last line for the series.
Bexie dancing was sweet, though I wish they had just done it at the wedding.
Did not expect Celia to be in the dino costume! Glad she got to experience the party for a bit.
Andi got into SAVA and is going to use Andi Shack as a studio. Really sweet to take a new photo of the GHC. What an interesting convo they’ll have at the spoon the next day when Cyrus tells them what was so life changing about the party.
Sweet lookback at the important scenes at Andi Shack.
Now we know why they needed semi-pro basketball players for the re-shoots, wonder if the flash forwards were a late addition then.
Glad they didn’t bring up the timeline like the texts did so we don’t have to pretend the finale took place in June.
Nice to see the Mackchat kids finally be able to talk about Tyrus openly as a romantic relationship. It will go a long way to normalizing same sex relationships among kids. As they said, it’s been them all along from the muffin to the swings to the bench.
Looking Back:
Andi Mack really was a special show. Yes it fell short at times but when it was at its best there was nothing like it on tv. It leaves a big void and I hope other shows fill it sooner rather than later. Right from the pilot to the finale it tackled so many important issues: teen pregnancy, unconventional families, therapy, financial issues, coming out, panic attacks, learning disabilities, bullying, manipulation, guns, Chinese and Jewish culture, racism, sign language, sexism, and stereotypes.
Andi Mack made history again and again, right from Andi discovering Bex was her mother to Cyrus coming out to Buffy and Andi and Jonah and saying the words, I’m Gay, to Cyrus getting together with TJ. There are no other characters like Cyrus Goodman or TJ Kippen anywhere on kids tv and I hope we see more characters like them soon, on Disney Channel and elsewhere.
All the cast and crew and writers deserve so much praise for making such a wonderful show and I don’t know when we’ll ever see such a talented, passionate group again. I hope they all go on to big things and find happiness and success with whatever they choose to do.
And a big thank you to all of my followers. It’s been such an honour to be part of this fandom and to have so many people read my posts and send me asks, I never imagined when I started this blog last March that I’d get so involved but I’m glad I did. I’ve made a lot of great friends and have had so much fun. This show has had one wild journey for a Disney Channel show and I’m glad we were here together to experience it.
I’ll still be around, answering asks, liking and re-blogging posts, keeping up with any last interviews or information we get related to the show. And one last reminder to tag your posts and re-blogs with Tyrus and Andi Mack so we can get #1 on Fandometrics. Thank you for reading this long ass post and all my other long ass posts and I wish each and every one of you all the best and I hope that the memories we’ve made here and our memories of the show provide comfort as we go on with our lives.
Love, Dave.

Code’s Top 5 TS Fics
[***Let me know if I’ve missed anything on the Content Warnings!]
[**Do Not Ask Authors for Updates!]
[*Leave these authors Comments, please and thank you!]
The Consequences of Sound by Acantha_Echo
Status: Incomplete, Work In Progress
Summary: Anxiety hurts Thomas. It's just what he does, what he has always done. It's not what he wants. He only wants to protect him but that is easier wished for than done. When the opportunity to prove himself opens up to him, he grabs it, for once not caring about the consequences. Things go downhill from there. The fall, rise, fall (and rise again) of Virgil.
Relationships: Prinxiety, Platonic LAMP
CW: Toxic Friendships, Headaches and Migraines, Anxiety Attacks, Manipulation, Depression, Unsympathetic Deceit, Unsympathetic Remus
My thoughts: This fic is So Freaking Good, my friends. It has real estate in at least 86% of my brain. I love going back to reread my favorite parts, and sometimes when I’m rewatching episodes I’ll catch myself thinking of the fic. Right now it’s the Christmas episode bc I’m in big time daydream mode about what the current arc is going to bring. It’s got big Found Family energy, and I eat that stuff right up. It is so heart-warming to watch Virgil grow closer to them. And, yeah, the Prinxiety owns my ass. It is some real Slow Burn shit, and the little glances and soft interactions.... oh goodness. And there’s suspense too, with all the barriers Virgil has built, and the secrets he keeps. For the love of everything, give this fic a try.
To Build A Home by AValorousChoice
Status: Completed
Summary: "There was a long silence as Virgil processed the words, his eyes darting between the pair of them. “Y-You-” he swallowed heavily. “You want to adopt me?” This was a joke. Surely, it was a joke. Nobody ever wanted him. Nobody had ever shown the slightest bit of interest in adopting him. Virgil never believed he was good enough for a loving family until the day that Patton and Logan walked into the orphanage.
Relationships: Logicality
CW: Child Abuse, Alcohol and Alcoholism, Panic Attacks, Car Accidents, Swearing, Homophobia, Minor Character Death, Animal Abuse, PTSD, Violence, Murder, Attempted Murder
My thoughts: Another Found Family for y’all. So this one is a kid!fic, which I don’t read a lot of, but have found some Really Good ones over the years. I grow really attached to characters when it feels like I’ve watched them grow up. Probably has to do with my love for character development, though not every kid!fic will have that. This one, actually, takes place over the course of less than a year of Virgil’s life after Logan and Patton adopt him. It deals with trauma and finding a place Virgil feels he belongs and is equally full of hope as it is fear. Again, watching Virgil grow close to his family - Patton, Logan, Roman, and some marvelous OCs - is so precious. And shout-out to Roman in this one bc he is the cutest, weirdest freaking kid you will ever read, and I would protect him with my life. The next one in the series is actually all about him and advances forward to when they’re teens (at which point I come across a lot of moments where I’m like “omg they’ve grown so much my heart”).
(i’d never) want once from the cherry tree by ace_corvid
Status: Completed
Summary: Of all the notable Youtubers active today, none are perhaps as popular as Roman Prince, beauty guru extraordinaire. From small beginnings, rising popularity from his vlogs brought him to the fame he never doubted he’d relish in. But also on the up and up is the conspiracy theory and cryptid lover known by his online alias ‘Virgilant’, who reveals little about his personal life and shies from the spotlight.Despite clashing fandoms and their own preconceptions, they're dragged into a somewhat whirlwind collaboration between channels. Sparks fly, but with Virgil desperately afraid of coming out and pining for his room mate, can anything really happen? With Logan, Patton, Remy and Deceit along for the ride, watch as fear of being who you really are blossoms into something new… With more than a little romance along the way. After all, is there anything more terrifying than showing the world who you are? Alternatively; a meta media fic following the journey of Youtubers, who just so happen to be characters we know and love.
Relationships: Prinxiety, Logicality
CW: Anxiety over Coming Out, Fandom Discourse Commentary
My thoughts: The funniest thing in my GD LIFE. Get this; they’re all in character, but the author has amped up their chaos levels times 100. They are undeniably themselves and it’s to an extreme. I freaking love it. And the multimedia style is so entertaining. It keeps the story at a fast pace and creates a great setting and diverse character interaction. That interaction includes banter and absolutely absurd and relatable content. Everyone’s friendships are undeniable bc they’re constantly roasting one another but you can tell they’d kill for each other. So good. This fic is so good. Please go read.
lavender for luck by lovelylogans
Status: Completed
Summary: Virgil's uncle can cast spells, and read fortunes, and hear houses talk through their noisy creaks. Virgil's father had, too, when he was alive, and their mother before them. Virgil was born with the family's tawny eyes, the family's pale skin, and the family's magic. And the people they fall in love with—or, at least, the ones who love them back—all die, which is why Virgil knows he can never take the chance of having that for himself. A Practical Magic inspired au
Relationships: LAMP
CW: Implied/Referenced Character Death, Parental Death, Spiders, Animal Cruelty, Swearing, Arguing, Physical Confrontation
My thoughts: Magical realism, secrets, excellent characterization. The border between reality and magic in this AU is seamless. I love the normality of magic in these types of stories, and this one didn’t even have magic as a Thing for most of the world. Magic wasn’t a regular thing, yet the author made it so normal to Virgil’s life... it was phenomenal. And the character interactions... they are so sweet on each other omg. And it isn’t really rushed either. There is time skips, but they don’t break apart the fic too harshly, instead enhancing the time they’ve gotten to know one another. Deceit’s character is so much fun too. He doesn’t take shit, but he also really cares. And the whole uncovering Virgil’s life is so interesting, both what we know and the characters don’t, or stuff we don’t know and Virgil won’t talk about. It creates excellent tension. So I guess I have to go read Practical Magic now (which this fic is based off of) and you have to go read this.
dreams are the second form of reality by Flooftheriver
Status: Incomplete, Work In Progress
Summary: Roman’s creative capabilities stretch further than anywhere any of the sides realise he can go- sometimes even Roman himself. He can craft intricate worlds from nothing, invent people out of mere whispers of an idea, all for the purpose of filling the night with adventure. His dreams are so strong in fact, that they can unknowingly pull others in, bending them to the will of the story he is creating. So what happens when he dreams up a Prince, and finds he needs somebody to play the role?
Relationships: Prinxiety, Logicality
CW: Possible Character Death, Weird Shadow Monsters, Minor Violence, Blood and Violence
My thoughts: So it’s set in canon in place of AA. Which means we get some lovely angst in the form of Virgil thinking everyone hates him. And I’m super stoked to watch him get that Acceptance he deserves. You know what we call that? Growth. Let’s get that character development y’all. For now, however, he’s in Roman’s dreamworld and trying to make sure Roman doesn’t realize it’s actually him or he’ll get kicked out of the best thing in his life. So we have secrets, which creates great tension, and things going... strange in the dreamworld. Also, the Prinxiety is cute as heck - loving that slow burn holy crip - alright go read it.

A Completely Subjective (Objective) List of Titles to Examine (Purchase), Play Through (Waste Your Life), and Enjoy (Enjoy) During Quarantine (part 2)
We know what’s happening. It’s April 1st, but the joke has been going on for far too long. Trapped in our homes with Covid-19 actively shooting people in the streets outside, we have to find a way to pass the time. As an avid gamer and professional uncooked cookie dough eater, I have compiled a list of games, both multiplayer and singleplayer that anyone and everyone should play for an enthralling experience. These games range from the newest releases to golden classics, so be warned if, I don’t know, Halo Reach appears. By the way, Halo Reach is appearing.
Multiplayer Games:
I would like to point out that the following games are more directed to be in the vein of multiplayer, however, the single player experience should not be disregarded at all with these titles. I just find that the replayability comes from the multiplayer modes in these titles, but go ahead and check out the single player. After all, these games have strong versions of those modes either way.
A Way Out
Okay so I already lied. A Way Out is exclusively multiplayer. But before we hop into the gameplay itself, I do want to emphasize that only one (that’s right, one) copy of the game must be owned for 2 people to play, even online. A cooperative 2-player interactive drama game, the game paints a story that involves a prison break, found family, betrayal, and interesting and original levels, each with unique controls involved in every set.
The game plays in split screen, even when playing online, allowing for one player to be in a cutscene talking to a guard while their partner is to be off somewhere else, in full control. A Way Out also has very interesting mechanics, where branching discussions can be given depending on either player’s interests or playstyles.
A Way Out is a once in a lifetime experience and it won’t be the same after replaying it, but the time spent with a partner is special and unique for first time players. I had an amazing time, I’m sure you will as well.
Monster Hunter: World
What is better than hunting parking garage sized Pokemon on crack? Hunting parking garage sized Pokemon on crack with three other friends. Monster Hunter: World threw things like story and development out the window to focus on gameplay, and for that, I appreciate their direction with this game.
In this game, the idea of the hunt is everything. Figure out your prey, find and craft potions and weapons that are best against it, track that fool, beat that thing’s head in 500 times. Rinse. Repeat. While it sounds simple, MHW’s massive size would prove you wrong. This game is so gigantic, you and your friends have to camp out in the game, you may have to in real life, just so you don’t lose too much sleep.
The game runs closer to an RPG as well, with weapons and armor that can only be wielded by players seeking a specific role for their hunting party. It’s like every good part of hunting things in The Witcher, only you do it with teammates that never brought enough health potions. For people with a lot of time on their hands, this game is a must have.
Did I mention that you kick the shit out of monsters?
Borderlands 2
The most self aware game I’ve played since the Stanley Parable, Borderlands 2 is a phenomenal game that only gets better the more friends you throw in it. A first person shooter built around a campaign of limitless side quests, an expansive class and character system, and of course, guns. Borderlands 2 brings humor to an already mixed genre of looter shooter that there is so much to unpack, I feel it’s unfair to do so here.
Borderlands 2 is the ultimate hunt for treasure and glory. You journey through the planet of Pandora, a mixture of Mad Max and a 2012 mlg compilation video. The game has a strikingly intriguing story with multi-dimensional characters and a fascinating intro to anyone who is opposed to shooters, RPGs, or both. The game offers hundreds of hours of content with the numerous DLC’s, all offering new areas, quests, and characters. The unserious Destiny, COD Diablo, whatever you want to call it, it’s all there in Borderlands 2.
The game, however, goes above and beyond what it already has when you incorporate two or three friends. After picking classes/characters and starting a new journey or just dropping in and out of co-op, the game is always fresh and welcoming with endless things to kill and loot. All in all-
Look. Just play it. Seriously. It's good. It’s like Spider-Man
Halo Reach
Ha, what’d I tell you? Boom, Halo Reach! Let’s get into it.
You don’t even have to play any of the other Halos to even start to understand what is happening. The game has so much to do, not in comparison to world size or gameplay, but in just sheer amount of modes to participate in. There's a campaign (with 4-player support), firefight, forge, custom games, and all the different playlists in multiplayer like infection, SWAT, Invasion, Big Team Battle, and more.
While I did say that these games were centered on the multiplayer experience, I do have to highlight the campaign of Halo Reach. It is filled with beautifully destroyed battlefields, detailed corridors of enemies, and a cast of dynamic characters, all with impressively delivered voice lines and performances. I can give just the campaign alone a 9/10, honestly.
Back to the real shit, there is an incredible amount of things to unlock in Halo Reach’s armory, a list of cosmetic items that you can slap onto your super soldier to make your flex just that much harder when you kill and t-bag a person online. And also, everything that can be done between the multiplayer and single player ALL accumulate experience to your level, meaning no matter what you play in this monster, you can still access the armory and look fly as hell. Even for those who haven’t even heard of Halo, I guarantee that this entry into the series is the strongest.
Titanfall 2
It is fucking criminal how underrated this game is. This is the only game, the ONLY game I know where Hollywood level shit happens on my screen every match. Every. Single. Match. Things that aren’t in cutscenes or in the background, we’re talking player to player encounters in the game. This is the only game where you can run along a wall at mach speeds, drop kick a guy, hop onto the back of his thirty foot tall mech suit, throw a grenade into it’s engine, blow it up, double jump onto a different building, hack a robot, kill a guy while invisible, teleport to a different fucking dimension, and board an evacuation ship all at once.
Titanfall 2 offers a shooter experience that anyone who has ever played online has to hop in and see. While the skill gap is high (like Snoop Dogg high), it is beyond exhilarating in every match. The game allows for customization for your skills, suits, guns, and of course, your big ass Titan.
The game’s online modes feature a pick and choose system in loadouts where players of Call of Duty games will feel at home. However, players of Mirror’s Edge will feel at home with the fast paced mobility of Titanfall, where the player actually shines. The game sports wall running, double jumping, slides, movement assisting skills like grapple hooks, and momentum physics to all feed into an impressive movement experience to an otherwise simple online shooter.
Multiplayer revolves around less diverse playlists than Halo Reach, but between a surprisingly short and sweet campaign and an online experience that I think is unmatched, Titanfall sports such clean animations, well done lighting and curated maps, that I think that it holds an unparalleled online experience (3).
And that’s the list, really. I didn’t include games I thought were 10/10’s, perfect, or otherwise critically acclaimed just because everyone else had played them. I went off to analyze these titles and try to comprise them into just a few short paragraphs using the experience in writing and gaming I knew. Stay safe during quarantine. And please…
Check out Titanfall. Those dudes need more players. Seriously.
(3) Also, see the campaign. Seriously. It’s a little too good for a shooter.

(Episode 10.
“Please fight with us.”
I’ll preface this one saying that it was pretty chill for an episode and a lot of things happened that I expected. I’ll get to that though.
But!
To start, it’s right back where the fight between Fudo and Tsubasa was ended. Shem-Ha shows back up, merely annoyed that mere “tools” try to control her lol.
She immediately starts a fight with them however, Maria quickly being the one to provide cover for Tsubasa and her family to get away in the meantime. One thing I found interesting in this fight is that Shem-Ha is using these symbols to summon attacks.
They look exactly like the symbols shown in the first episode where those weird ice sculptures came up?
It makes sense primarily because they were fighting the coffin that belonged to a Custodian/Annunaki and since Shem-Ha is one (despite being in Miku’s body) she can use them as well.
Also, she says that her power isn’t what it used to be due to her current level of “integration” so I assume that means she’s not fully merged with Miku technically? Though she also wonders if it was because she ended up summoning Yggdrasil. I just placed a link to the wikipedia page for it because I am terrible at explaining mythology and possibly what it could mean within Symphogear (since they change things around to fit their story/plot of course). The mythology elements are always fascinating though.
Maria ends up getting one of her chains around Shem-Ha, which immediately catches her attention.
As hinted before, Maria (and Serena too) are more than likely descendants of the Annunaki, specifically Enki as Shem-Ha mentions. Maria, of course, doesn’t know what she’s talking about in terms of Enki so she continues fighting. But her quote here makes me think this is why her and Serena are able to use Airgetlam?
That might not be the case, but we do know that Serena was naturally Attuned to Airgetlam (like Chris and Tsubasa are to their relics) while Maria relies on LiNKER. However, they stated in AXZ that Maria has always had the highest sync rate compared to Kirika and Shirabe and she’s able to use two relics (Gungnir and Airgetlam). These are possible factors of her being a descendant to a Annunaki but it very well may not be.
I also don’t think this makes Maria “not human” or some sort of Annunaki. Being a descendant of powerful beings like that doesn’t mean you have their power residing within you or that she’s suddenly not human. It’s been CENTURIES (putting it lightly) since the Lulu Amel and Annunaki were separated due to the implementation of the Curse of Balal so yeah lol.
But that’s the end of that because Noble Red shows up agaaaaaain.
And they’re a lot stronger than before.
Now, honestly, if I saw the title of this episode before it aired, I would have figured they’d be alive still. The title of this episode is “They Are No Filthy Rustlings” (Crunchyroll translates it as “Not a Crude Color of Rust”) and Noble Red have always been considered “filthy rustlings” basically. So that would have made it much more obvious, plus the summary for the episode was pretty much hinting to them as well.
Despite countless stones being cast against you, you still have a future to pursue. But in the end, your struggles only lead to a permanent and undeniable fate.
The kindness you knew causes your despair to ring through the stairway to heaven. Far above and far away, you look upwards to the refuge where you should have been standing. The deed committed is no evil, but simply the despair brought upon you by some illogical force.
But it wasn’t translated before the airing, or I didn’t see it until after the airing, so yeah. Lol. Point being; I’m kinda glad they’re alive because if they were seriously killed off in such a (honestly) dumb way in episode 9, I would be been like “well that was a waste”.
So, in retrospect, I’m glad they got “revived” so to speak, but more on that later.
These peeps locked up Fudo behind like three cells/rooms whatever you’d like to call them and I’m like “will this be able to hold him” since he’s ridiculously strong. But for now, guess he’s resigned to his fate.
And Yatsuhiro actually did end up dying. Now, this is nothing against Yatsuhiro as a character, but I personally am glad he died. And I say this because plot wise, because after everything that happened with Tsubasa in episode 9 and the moment between him and her? If he didn’t die, it would have felt like his “sacrifice” would have been a waste and just something for dramatic and emotional effect. I don’t think it would have held impact if he actually lived, and I am glad they went through with it.
Of course it sucks for Tsubasa but I hope this means that she will be able to fly free, just like he wanted her to. (STILL NEED TO KNOW IF HER SECOND SONG IS IN RELATION TO HIM LIKE I AM ASSUMING BUT NO TRANSLATIONS YET FUDGE).
Unfortunately, due to all the investigations, Tsubasa wasn’t able to make it to his funeral so there was a timeskip in here somewhere.
But one of the sweetest moments come; Hibiki and Tsubasa reuniting. Thing about this is that technically, everyone else has seen Tsubasa since the moment she took Miku away (even if it was on screen for Chris, Kirika and Shirabe) but Hibiki hasn’t. During all the events in episode 9, she was away from HQ at her father’s house, in the dark of what was happening.
So when they meet back up, it’s clear (to me) that Tsubasa is feeling guilt for her actions because...who wouldn’t be? Hibiki admits that she feels a bit messed up because she doesn’t know what to think, but she tells Tsubasa that’s she happy that she’s back, which surprises Tsubasa.
Again, I think Tsubasa reacting this way is because she didn’t think that after everything she’s done, even if it was due to her being manipulated, she could be forgiven that easily. But of course, everyone is there for her and to welcome her back because clearly they’d never turn their backs on her.
Hibiki asks her to fight with them, but she’s so hesitant and unsure of doing it again, perhaps not trusting herself of her actions, but Hibiki grabs her hand anyway before she could get too far and then Elfnein welcomes her back home.
Not gonna lie: I was hoping they’d hug her SO BAD. Me and my friend were watching it together and literally our messages to each other during this scene was us screaming “HUG HER” lmao. It was still a sweet scene regardless though.
I’ve seen some comparisons of this scene with the scene of Hibiki, Chris and Tsubasa during episode 10 I believe??? where they all join hands. Of course it took Tsubasa a while to accept Hibiki’s hand in the first season, so seeing something like this again on another level just makes you think of how far they’ve come in their friendship. Tsubasa and Hibiki don’t interact much unfortunately so it’s just nice to see how far along their friendship has come along.
AND ALSO THE PROMISE: Ogawa asks Hibiki to not allow Tsubasa to be alone back in the first season, and Hibiki saying to “stay with her” and to “fight together” is almost like a reminder of it. At least to me anyway gdfhdgjfgjfgjfh. Tsubasa even thanks Hibiki again later on in the episode in a small scene and how Hibiki holding her hand made her happy. ACK. Let me move on.
Shem-Ha, along with Noble Red, are hiding down within Yggdrasil that’s not too far from the Kazanari compound and we actually get a picture of what Shem-Ha looked like in her own body.
It seems she’s trying to gather herself together? My friend believes that Miku is a temporary vessel until Shem-Ha is able to get her own body back together, which would be nice and mean that Miku won’t be stuck within her for so long and they could just punch the shizz out of Shem-Ha in her own body but there’s no telling lol.
But flashbaaaaack:
So Shem-Ha pretty much did kill Noble Red, but it seems as if her power alone was able to make them fully be reborn as monsters. So, they’re no longer incomplete beings, teetering between being humans and monsters.
So what this means for them is that they can never have their dream realized of being human again as they are completely monsters now, which is why they are stronger. This isn’t what any of them wish to hear, so Elsa and Millaarc begin to cry while Vanessa laments over them never being able to connect with others again, saying they have been alone due to everything that’s happened to them and what they’ve been made into.
Shem-Ha instead offers them to serve her instead as she vows to get rid of loneliness and estrangement and she intends to do that by returning the world back to how it was 5,000 years ago.
Also, she makes these.
She uses the viles that normally are used for the alchemists to transport themselves away. Since she was talking about 5,000 years in the past, I really believed that these were going to transport them literally 5,000 years in the past XDDDD. Buuuuuut....
The lunar ruins were activated due to the energy from Yggdrasil, and so they plan to send a special US team there to investigate instead of the Gear users. So they are tasked with the mission of protecting it during its launching period as they figured that Noble Red would be intending to do something with the moon after Shem-Ha mentioned the Curse of Balal around Genjuro and the others earlier in the episode.
So they do indeed attack, but once again they are much stronger now. Elsa starts fighting Shirabe and Kirika and she has A LOT to say haha. She even says the title of the episode (as it’s translated by CR)
But I think this shows why I am finding them fascinating/interesting. Elsa, due to her newfound abilities, managed to destroy the rocket without much issue.
She then proceeds to explain how cut off they were from humanity because of what humanity ended up doing to them.
Elsa was experimented on by the Bavarian Illuminati after multiple of her own family members were taken or kidnapped.
Millaarc was merely visiting another country before she was taken by a hunting group and then proceeded to get experimented on by the Illuminati.
Vanessa has always worked with the Illuminati, but due to her accident, it left her nearly dead and they reconstructed her as an android probably for curiosity sake and experimented on her to see how she’d be effective after it all.
All of this forced them into some sort of seclusion as they were deemed failures and yet it wasn’t even their fault for becoming what they became; a failed mixture of monsters and humans. They had to rely on blood for their survival and was seen as nothing but failure experiments that only wanted to be returned back to normal.
So Elsa is saying that if she knew her fate was going to be a true monster in the end, she would have liked to never have known kindness so she wouldn’t end up being so frustrated with their new forms and heavy desire to go back to being human.
Now I admit; I like Noble Red. I am enjoying them being different compared to the alchemists or past villains. I was glad they were considerably weaker than past enemies and that they weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. You could say the same for the others, but they were willing to do what they were told just so they could become human again.
This doesn’t excuse their actions, and I am not looking for them to be redeemed. I pity them, but to me, they don’t seem like the type that will go back now. At least, that’s what I hope. I like that they aren’t really that receptive to everyone’s attempt at offering help (which only happened twice honestly; episode 4 and this episode, 10).
And now they seem to resigned to their fate to be used and staying as monsters that it’s probably why Vanessa agreed to serve Shem-Ha.
I can’t really explain what I mean but all I’m saying is that I like them and wanting to write as Millaarc is really a thing. Lmao.
MOVING ON ONCE AGAIN---
Kirika and Shirabe get their duet this episode, aka their Zababa duet (called Cutting Edge X2 Ready go!) with their songs being played together. I assumed they would this episode since it made the most sense and what better way to top it off than with their Amalgam’s as well (which again, would make sense so lmao. Knocking two things out with one stone).
But I admit, I am really loving how the Amalgam’s look. I probably mentioned it before but I love their sleek looks and them not having armor just sticking out on them makes it look better in my opinion.
I know people miss the Ignite Module (I’m still one of those that don’t) but the risk/reward system, if implemented correctly, can be good for Amalgam as well. The keywords state that the shields that surround them can be used for defense, but if they convert that energy, it can be used for offense.
Ignite Module seemed a bit too lenient on that in my opinion; it gave them a boost in power but was supposed to have that time limit to stop them. However, if they never left the first stage, they’d literally have 999 seconds to defeat the enemy. Depending on the enemies strength of course, it could very well be dangerous but I mean...meh. I like having consequences for a power that’s considered OP or whatever. Lol. Or at least a real risk/reward system.
Brief excerpt from the Amalgam keyword---
Upon activation, it instantly releases the energy that composes the Symphogear and reforms it into a golden "cocoon," a first stage that gives the user a far more powerful barrier field (and that consumes far more energy) than normal. Next, the energy is reformed into a high-output armed gear, reorganizing into into an "imago" that serves as a second stage.
Put simply, it causes an extreme disbalance between defensive and offensive parameters. In the "cocoon" stage, defensive ability is greatly raised while attack power is greatly hampered. In the "imago" stage, attack power is greatly raised while defensive power is greatly hampered.
As a result, the number of situations where this ability is useful is limited.
I just find it more interesting (and better looking) than the Ignite Module. Now will the show implement this just as well as they “implemented” the weakness of the Ignite Module? More than likely not, but that’s what writing is for ha.
So, Shirabe and Kirika use their Amalgam’s and actually managed to defeat Elsa with it. Technically, even if no side is really the winner, Vanessa is content on them being stopped from going to the moon and she pulls out one of those viles from earlier that Shem-Ha messed around with. We can assume they were going to transport somewhere on their own but Tsubasa comes to ruin that.
This just speaks to me of Tsubasa still feeling guilt (again, as I mentioned earlier, makes sense since it won’t simply disappear just because she doesn’t have that seal anymore) so she’s literally ready to do whatever it takes to make up for them.
Honestly, this part made me nervous because I was worried if she was going to end up being teleported alone without the others. But luckily, everyone gets transported to...wherever.
My initial thoughts was them going back 5,000 years ago, because the bridge then begins to panic slightly for not being able to locate the Gear users anywhere on the entire planet.
Like that would have been insane.
But nope. Instead, after the credits, it’s shown that they are now on the moon in the Lunar Ruins.
So now I assume these last three episodes are going to just take place in space. Lmao. I assume Chris and Maria will be using their Amalgam’s during this point as well so we can expect that.
Plus, and this is random, there are still four songs to be announced. Each blu ray DVD comes with a bonus CD that carries two songs. There’s six volumes in total and four of the bonus CDs have been revealed already. The one that’s going to be paired with Carol’s song on volume 4 is going to be Kirika/Shirabe’s songs I’m fairly certain (just doesn’t update until Friday haha) but there’s two more bonus CDs to be announced, which leaves four songs.
Not sure if they’ll be having four new songs in three episodes or doing what they did in GX, where they announced Hibiki and Miku’s duet for example after the season was done airing.
But regardless, this feels like crunch time. Three episodes left and everyone is stuck on the moon/Lunar Ruins?
Well, guess Kirika and Shirabe got their wish lmao.)

Director Elizabeth Banks has created a funny and action-packed good time at the movie theaters! The next generation of Charlie’s Angels is a continuation of the stories told on television in the 1970s and the former films from the early 2000s. The film debuted worldwide on November 15th, 2019. Stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska are working for the mysterious Charles Townsend, whose security and investigative agency has expanded internationally. With the world’s smartest, bravest, and most highly trained women all over the globe, there are now teams of Angels guided by multiple Bosleys taking on the toughest jobs everywhere.
Elizabeth Banks addresses Charlie’s Angel ‘flop’
Elizabeth Banks addresses Charlie’s Angel ‘flop’ in a tweet. The 2000 Charlie’s Angel film starring Drew Barrymore, made $264.1 million USD over its entire run in the box office, in comparison, the current film debuted to $8.6 million in North America and $19.2 million overseas. Making it an unlikely long term success in the box office. Elizabeth Banks who starred, directed, produced and is responsible for the screenplay addresses this in a tweet saying “Well if you’re going to have a flop, make sure your name is on it at least 4x. I’m proud of #CharliesAngels and happy it’s in the world.”
https://twitter.com/ElizabethBanks/status/1196486758503833600
I truly believe that the lack of proper advertising for this movie is what caused the low box office numbers, not the quality of this movie. The movie was advertised in a way to make us believe that it was a reboot. In reality, it was a continuation story. I understand the reboot fatigue may have kept many viewers at home. I think they may have had a lot more luck marketing this as a “Charlie’s Angel for every generation” type of story. Which is exactly what the movie is. It is a beautiful new story as well as a well-crafted nod to all the Angels that came before them.

This is the kind of movie that you need to take your daughters, your nieces, your girlfriends, and your mom. And honestly, you need to take your boys and nonbinary friends as well. Because it’s a fun action movie with a ton of funny scenes and a great story. Everyone likes that. It’s also pretty empowering! This is a time when women want to feel empowered! This was the perfect time for a new Charlie’s Angel movie! This is why it’s so frustrating that it isn’t getting the love it deserves.
Why you should watch this movie!
Action
This movie gets a little fast and furious in the beginning, which is a lot of fun! Ella Balinska and Kristen Stewart definitely steal the show when it comes to all the action scenes. They are non-stop with kicking people’s ass. What I really appreciate about these action scenes is that they are not played down. Some are gritty and anxiety-inducing. If it wasn’t for the comedy and fashion in the film, then it would feel like a Jason Bourne movie. Very intense scenes.
Kristen Stewart in Charlie’s Angels.
Although Naomi Scott’s character is being protected by the Angels, she still gets in on the action with her own little clumsy and hilarious fight scene. Ella Balinska is a fresh face in Hollywood. Balinska kills it with her fantastic and fun portrayal of a former MI6 agent who now uses her skills as one of Charlie’s Angels. She was so good that it begs the question: “Why isn’t she in EVERYTHING and on the cover of EVERYTHING?” Know her name! She deserves a lot more on-screen time. Kristen Stewart also play’s one of Charlie’s Angels and she does not disappoint. She is a combination of quirky, sexy and dangerous. Her greatest strength comes from overcoming her past and using that to do good.
Ella Balinska as Jane in Charlie’s Angels.
Funny
As I said earlier, this movie is funny. It’s purposely cheesy in the best ways. One scene, in particular, involving Sir Patrick Stewart and a closet had me laughing out loud. The comedy flows naturally and is well-timed. I would expect no less coming from Elizabeth Banks! I smiled the entire time I was watching this! Other notably hilarious moments include an impromptu song from Naomi Scott, a game of chase in a laboratory, and the interactions between Noah Centineo and Ella Balinska. Honestly, I didn’t realize Kristen Stewart was so funny. Her character is so quirky and fun! Although Naomi Scoot is more adorable and sweet than funny, she gives us a few funny scenes as well.
Noah Centineo as Langston and Ella Balinska as Jane in Charlie’s Angels.
Sisterhood
There are way too many stories with women being pit against one another, portrayed as jealous and petty rivals. In this film, you don’t see that. You see women who build one another up and empower each other. Can you imagine a real-life network of powerful and strong women supporting one another in hopes of saving the world? We need more of that in the world and more of that being shown on screen. Young girls need to see intelligent women all over the screen. Women are very often portrayed in a way where there can only be one smart and beautiful woman per film and any other is considered a rival. But in this film, there is an entire network of amazing women who are showcased! All of them are there to support one another. They are not trying to rival one another.
The Relationships
This movie focuses a lot on relationships. Not the romantic type, although there is a tiny itsy bit of that, but it mainly focuses on the relationships between the main cast. This movie deals with trust, loyalty, accountability to your peers and the motivation to do good. The relationship the Angels have with their mentors, as well as the relationships they have to each other, are deeply rooted in sisterhood and brotherhood. These are characters who really care about one another and the world around them. Even the motives of some of the villains in the film comes from a place of hurt and betrayal and not just an evil calling.
Sir Patrick Stewart and Elizabeth Banks
Technology, Science & Well Being
Science and technology play a major role in a lot of superhero and action movies. There’s no super smart but socially awkward stereotype of a person here. This movie portrays plenty of well-rounded individuals who are all intelligent, strong, who actively take care of their mental health and who look amazing doing it. We need to see this type of representation more often. Girls and women have been underrepresented on screen in roles like these. It’s exciting to see so many in one film.
Noah Centineo as Langston and Ella Balinska as Jane in Charlie’s Angels.
Ella Balinska, Kristen Stewart and Luis Gerardo Mendez star in CHARLIE’S ANGELS.
Naomi Scott stars in Charlie’s Angels.
Fashion
Not going to lie, the outfits on Charlie’s Angels are dreamy! I would happily take any of the Angel’s wardrobe. Charlie’s Angels have been fashion icons since the 1970s. It was part of the appeal. These badass women are sporting the coolest looks while saving the world! I love it. I spent a ton of time daydreaming about the sunglasses from this movie. Even the extras have amazing outfits. I love fashion, and I appreciate good fashion. That is reason alone for me to see this movie. It’s easily a documentary on how to pull together amazing looks. One of my favorite things about the wardrobe scene is the moment that you see outfits worn by the Angel’s in the previous movies as well as outfits from the 1970s television show. Such a warm touching nod to the former incarnations.
Elizabeth Banks directs and stars in Charlie’s Angels
Naomi Scott stars in Charlie’s Angels
Ella Balinska and Kristen Stewart star in Charle’s Angels.
It’s a good time at the movies! Go see it! But if you need one final reason, it’s empowering! For everyone! Great characters, great cast, great costumes, lots of action. I can’t love it enough. It’s a fun date movie, and it’s a fun night out! Take your young people! Take your parents! It’s worth it.
What fans are saying:
This movie was not going to win an Oscar, and it never set out to, but it has definitely won plenty of hearts. See what fans are saying in the reactions below.

Okay, I’ve read the last chapter of TLTBILB like 5x and I’m still dying over the fact that not only is Tyler the most perfect boyfriend in the world. BUT, that he also wrote letters to Hayley about Bonnie. The fact that Bonnie is the only person who doesn’t realize how much Tyler loves her, is killing me softly. & how freaking cute & soft Jeremey is?? Like I hate him in canon, but he’s so cute in this fic. Alright imma go now, I just wanted you to know I’m obsessed with your fics! Your amazing❤️
Hey anon!
Gotta admit that TATBILB is just the most fun for me to write right now of all my fics. I have always had a major soft spot for Tonnie and honestly they were one of my earliest TVD ships when I first started watching the show before Klaus showed up and I became Klonnie obsessed. They just had so much potential to be great and I was salty that after all that BS that JP talked about not wanting to do a Oz/Willow redux (even though she had no issues with stealing literally everything else from BtVS) she put Tyler with a witch in later seasons anyway, one that just so happened to be another one of JP’s blonde self inserts.
Anyway back to the fic, I just love combining the story lines into the TVD-verse and I think it fits the characters so well. I love writing Oblivious!Bonnie and the whole idea of the fake dating trope and the seemingly unrequited love trope. Literally Tyler is the epitome of this gif…
And Bonnie just does not get it! Lol The journey with these two is definitely going to be a fun one and we are going to see Stefan and Vicki add some friction in the upcoming chapters.
Jeremy….oh sweet Jeremy. I honestly feel like I would have loved him on the show if they wrote him as Elena’s little brother that’s just trying to find his place which they kind of did but then they put him in these random pairings and try to force his relevancy to the plot in all the wrong ways and wrote him so annoying so I was over him fairly quickly.I would have liked Beremy interacting better as just friends because their chemistry was flat for me on the show and their relationship was poorly written and executed and I was hoping for they would go the bisexual route with Jere just for diversity and to be real he even had more chemistry with Tyler than he did with Bonnie. I liked Jyler dynamic and wanted it to turn into something when it first became a thing on the show which is why I have them paired together in Shades of Pink. But the Jyler chem is a convo for another post.
Honestly, Bonnie had more chemistry with Tyler onscreen with just shared looks and the whole thing was just a waste because they had a fairly active fanbase for a while even with them not interacting onscreen hardly ever, which should tell you something. The witch/wolf lore also had so many possibilities, especially if Tyler was written as a canon character of color under the right pen as the mythology there is plentiful and especially if Bonnie’ heritage and background was given the story arc it deserved and not mentioned in passing and used a plot device. That’s why I love writing the pairing!
Writing them all human is different though. I like the idea of them being regular teenagers with ordinary problems and with a romcom plot. In spite of them being in high school the first few seasons, we didn’t get to see it a lot on the show, especially with Tyler and Bonnie because they were sidelined, and Bonnie was a plot device. A lot of their normal teenage moments were filtered through their pairings at the time, Beremy and Forwood. While TATBILB is heavy on romance and they do develop a lot as a couple, they are rebuilding a friendship as well, exploring a shared history that I feel like should have been explored with all the original base characters of the show because it would have made all of their moments of danger and heartbreak and their lives being disrupted by the supernatural that much more poignant.
Bonnie and Tyler are also developing as individuals, particularly Bonnie in this fic. A lot of her wanting to stay in her comfort zone in the fic is fear based, which she doesn’t fully understand. I think its less about being in Elena’s shadow, and more about finally being around people that the are encouraging her to break out of that comfort zone and try new things, hang out with different people, and revealing more of herself to others and she gets that not just from Tyler, but from Jeremy, from Luka, from Caroline, and others as the story goes along. Because Elena may have been her friend but Elena was also her enabler and I feel like in terms of their friendship Bonnie staying in her comfort zone was encouraged by Elena because having her friend by her side all the time was something that was a part of Elena’s comfort zone. Bonnie isn’t just leaving her comfort zone though, its more like she’s expanding it and inviting other people into it and learning more about what she’s capable of and how people really see her. A reviewer put it well when they said that she’s been casting herself as the side character all along and she’s always been the lead and that’s exactly the point and what she’s realizing.
I think the girl’s being separated and Elena being off on her own where she’s not someone everyone knows and she’s not the center of attention and she doesn’t have people willing to bend over backwards to do what she wants and with the people she was closest to, like Jeremy and Stefan, getting closer to Bonnie in her absence and Bonnie experiencing so much that Elena won’t know about fully until she sees her again, no matter how many phone calls they make, it’ll be interesting when they finally reunite, which won’t be for a while yet.
As far as Tyler’s development, I’d like to think that his relationship with Bonnie will allow more people to see who he really is at heart, which is a good person who is very intense and angry at times but goes hard for the people who he loves. The show started to do that with Forwood which is why I liked them at first but they put him in too much of a box and didn’t allow him to interact with enough others and then his development lost its impact and he was sacrificed on the altar of KC and things just went pear shaped from there.
As far as the fic goes, I think that Tyler is still Tyler but he just allows himself to show certain sides of himself to people he cares about, people he trusts. He showed that side to Bonnie before and he’s able to do that again after so long. He can be a jerk and an asshole but that’s not all he is. There are people who know this, Matt, Hayley, Caroline and his family but it isn’t widely known and I feel like when people witness the connection with him and Bonnie it’s something that is very evident and something that made Bonnie fall for him in the first place when they were younger. You’ll also get to see where a lot of his anger comes from in the upcoming chapters and Hayley does reveal more to Bonnie about what Tyler’s letter’s said in later chapters as well. I want to have Tyler be kind of the inverse of the jock stereotype, because he has this image he puts on and this persona he wears that kind of melts off when he’s around Bonnie. Vicki will definitely take notice of this as well and there is going to be a lot of juxtaposition between those relationships and the way he is with each of them and the way that they are with him. Even though this is “fake” he isn’t used to someone as genuine as Bonnie and it makes sense for him to be all in. But Tyler has his own insecurities and Stefan’s presence doesn’t help them at all so we’ll see how it goes. It doesn’t help that while Tyler is familiar with Bonnie in the way she was before, she’s a little harder for him to read now because they haven’t interacted in a while. At times he has fun figuring her out but at other times its frustrating and while Stefan has been in the dog house so to speak, you get to see how easy it is for them to read each other and while its a different dynamic its one that Tyler is threatened by in a lot of ways.
This answer got really long but I am so glad that you are enjoying the fic!😊 As you can see I love writing it and am super passionate about where its going so I do hope you stay for the ride anon! Thanks for reading! Lots of love your way! 💕

On Class, Mainstream Media and the Police State in Jackson, MS and Beyond
Jackson Police Department’s Interim Police Chief Anthony Moore held a press conference on May 30, 2018 announcing the firing of Officer Vincent Lampkin. On May 14, 2018, Lampkin physically assaulted John Knight, III and placed a gun to his head. Not surprisingly, during his press conference, Moore framed Lampkin’s actions as that of a lone bad apple that should not be attributed to the rest of JPD.
The one bad apple explanation for police state violence is an old trope used by the police state to maintain its legitimacy and moral authority in the eyes of the popular masses. It is usually employed when the top brass in a police department has decided that an officer has to be made a sacrificial lamb for acts of violence against a civilian because to do otherwise might damage the entire department’s legitimacy.
Lampkin should have been fired. However, we must be clear about the social, political and economic underpinnings that led to his firing. We must also be clear that Lampkin’s firing alone is not justice, especially in light of the fact that Moore narrowly tailored his public statement on the incident to coincide with the false narrative that Lampkin was a bad apple that does not represent the “good cops” with JPD. JPD systemically perpetuates violence against poor Black people because it is a department comprised of a bunch of bad apples that need to be thrown in the garbage.
“One Bad Apple Spoils the Whole Bunch”
In trying to cast Lampkin as a lone bad apple, Moore must have forgotten about the old saying, “that one bad apple spoils the whole bunch.” JPD has killed four people since November 2017. None of the officers involved in these killings have been held accountable for their actions. In each instance of police violence, JPD has told the public it would conduct an internal investigation or that it was passing the case along to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation for an “independent” investigation. It has been seven months since JPD’s first victim was killed and the public still knows nothing about the findings of JPD’s investigation or if the officer was even held to account. JPD has refused to release the names of officers who shoot and/or kill civilians and has doubled and tripled down on this position while Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba has given them cover while they operate with impunity.
Lampkin’s assault of Knight took place in the context and culture of violence that has been fostered by JPD. This culture was not developed and nurtured overnight. To act as if Lampkin is an aberration within JPD is disingenuous and is an insult to the intelligence of the residents of Jackson. Even if Lampkin was an aberration, why did other “good cops” not come forward and condemn his criminal behavior? It is because JPD is violent to its core. Police officers are trained to control and dominate, not protect and serve.
I am sure that this is not the first time that Lampkin has assaulted someone. Why else would he feel so comfortable brutalizing someone, putting a gun to their head and then cavalierly releasing them as if nothing happened? I know from my experience of representing individuals charged with crimes that JPD routinely assaults persons who are arrested. I have had clients who have been maimed by JPD and they will be brought into court brutalized and no one in the courtroom would ask one question about the person’s appearance except me. This is evidence that every official in this system is complicit in and provides cover for the violent thug operation that is the police state in Jackson and beyond. Officers get away with such violent acts because most of the people they brutalize are poor, Black and powerless. However, this time, Lampkin made the mistake of choosing a victim who society viewed as having great potential in line with society’s classist orientation.
The Role of Classism in the Case of John Knight, III
Class contradictions were apparent in the way that Knight’s assault was handled by the media, society at large and JPD. These glaring class contradictions should not be ignored or taken lightly. Knight is a former Jackson Public Schools student athlete. At the time he was assaulted, Knight was at home on a break waiting to begin school at Utah State University where he won a basketball scholarship to attend. Local media outlets, which have been notorious for engaging in character assassination of individuals killed by JPD, were very careful in how they framed the Knight incident.
In reporting about Knight’s ordeal with JPD, the Clarion Ledger was sure to always refer to Knight as a student athlete and did not take any swipes at his character. However, when Crystaline Barnes, who was also a college student and mother, was killed by JPD officers under dubious circumstances, the publication decided to publish that Barnes had outstanding traffic tickets and that she had previously been in the Hinds County Pre-Trial Intervention program, a probation program that allows individuals to have their charges dismissed if they can pay money to the Hinds County District Attorney’s Office over a 12 month period. Clearly, both were college students, but the difference seems to be that Barnes was a single mother who was not deemed as worthy of sympathy as the student athlete who has “potential” in the eyes of a classist society.
In a press conference called by Knight’s attorney, Dennis Sweet, III, Sweet and Knight’s parents repeatedly made comments that were rooted in respectability and classism. Knight’s father constantly made references to how he taught his son to respect authority, how he came from a “good” home, had a “good” upbringing and had never been in any trouble. Sweet highlighted how Knight was on the dean’s list at Southwest Community College and is the type of young man that Jackson should be proud of. On the surface, these comments appear to be merely statements made by individuals who are interested in getting justice for a client and a son. However, when we go deeper and look at the class dynamics of the society that we live in, the comments made set up a dichotomy that says individuals who are poor, Black, mentally ill, drug addicted and/or convicted felons are less deserving of justice than a young Black man who has the potential to be an American “success” story.
This society has proven time and time again that Black people can be murdered in cold blood, accosted or otherwise harassed no matter what our station in life is. In short, our college degrees, the way we dress, the way we speak or the type of family we come from will never be enough to provide shelter for Black people from the reign of police terror. This is why it is dangerous for anyone to set up, whether it is intentional or unintentional, a classist narrative that centers on an individual’s characteristics, potential, or academic or athletic prowess. There should not be one case where we are not raising the names of all of JPD’s victims and pointing out that this is a systemic problem and not just an issue of a particular incident or case. When we don’t do this, we thwart our own chances for getting closer to establishing a system of justice where no one is mistreated regardless of race, class, gender or sexual orientation.
Crystaline Barnes, Lee Bonner, Elliot Reed and an unidentified Black man were all working class or poor Black people killed by JPD officers. They all had their characters assassinated by JPD and the media after JPD killed them. None of them are less worthy of justice because of their interaction with the so-called criminal justice system are allegations of criminal activity at the time of their killings. Sadly, the deaths of these victims did not raise much concern or outrage in popular discourse and the little motion that was generated surrounding their killings certainly did not result in any officers being fired or criminally punished for their actions. As far as the public knows, none of these officers were criminally indicted, some of the cases likely never even made it before a grand jury.
Working class and poor Black lives are deemed less valuable and worthy of redress. This is an elitist notion that we must vigilantly stand against and repudiate. We must engage in vigorous and unceasing class analysis and struggle. This is the only way that there will be justice for all of JPD’s victims. If Lampkin can be fired for assaulting Knight, there is no reason that the officers who killed the aforementioned victims should not be fired and criminally charged. Instead, they enjoyed a paid vacation on the tax payer’s dime and were allowed to return to work as if nothing ever occurred. That this has happened in a city that touts itself as “the most radical city on the planet” would be laughable if it were not so sad and angering.
The Struggle for justice against police state violence cannot and must not be relegated to the legal realm of civil lawsuits of individual victims or their families. I am not opposed to victims seeking monetary damages, but that cannot and should not be all that is pursued. Police State violence is a systemic issue and must be attacked as such. We must build a political movement to challenge the systemic violence of these gestapo like police departments. This is the only way we can bring police violence to a halt. We must demand that police are disarmed and police departments are disbanded and replaced with institutions that are more just, humane and controlled by the popular masses.
History is evidence that the only solution to police violence is disarmament and disbandment. Police have been killing Black people since the days they were called Slave Patrols. They have been used to subvert worker solidarity and class unity, both interracially and intra-racially. They are used to protect the economic interests of the ruling class elites. Police help to ensure that the popular masses never gain control over their own labor and ultimately, the means of production. The elite classes use the means of production to generate wealth for themselves on the backs of the popular masses. Police place profits, maintaining unjust class relations and the status quo before the wellbeing of people.
Is the Outcome in Knight’s Incident Truly Justice?
Before we get too carried away with celebrating about the firing of Lampkin, we must reflect. The public still does not officially know the truth of what happened to Knight and why. We still don’t officially know whether this was Lampkin’s first time engaging in such criminal behavior. If it was not his first time acting so criminally, why didn’t all of the “good cops” report his criminality? How many other officers have had allegations of this criminal nature brought against them without consequence or repercussions? We don’t know the answers to these questions and we won’t know if we are satisfied with Lampkin’s firing. We must go deeper.
If a civilian was accused of assaulting a law enforcement officer, that civilian would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Why aren’t Lampkin and other violent cops being prosecuted for their crimes against the popular masses? I have seen countless instances where civilians are charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer when it was clear that the officer had not been accosted. So, if the people are being prosecuted on trumped up charges inside of kangaroo courts, certainly, these violent police officers should be prosecuted as well for their very real crimes committed against the community.
Our Standing Demands
The America Mean Prison Initiative (AMP), a grassroots community effort aimed at addressing police state violence and supporting communities impacted by the violence and dehumanization of incarceration call on the Lumumba administration to do the following: 1) Fire all officers involved in violence against civilians; 2) Establish a use of force policy that includes tangible and direct participation by the popular masses; 3) Release the names of officers involved in acts of violence against residents immediately; 4) Conduct an internal audit into all JPD policies, procedures and practices and allow the popular masses to be involved at every stage of the process; 5) Establish a human rights charter and an elected human rights commission with subpoena and investigative powers to ensure that all civilian’s human rights are respected, protected and fulfilled and 6) Disband the task force appointed by Lumumba because it is not a genuine representation and expression of the popular masses, but instead is little more than an appendage of the state and its’ manipulative machinations of the people.

The Bunker #88720 SepticEgo Lore
A quick reminder of what our AU exactly is:
The “antipocalypse” takes place in an enclosed area. Life outside the war zone continues on as normal, but within, it is a mixture of abandoned cities and various people trying to survive a war that none of them were truly prepared for.
Now let’s get to the good stuff about the egos!
BASICS:
The egos live in a sanctuary specifically for them and them only referred to as “The Safehouse.” They’re kept here in order to avoid being attacked or corrupted by Anti. The Safehouse is heavily magically enchanted by Marvin to protect them and keep Anti out. It’s also specially enlarged to make living comfortable. Even though they live in their own specialized place, they still help the Bosses in the fight! They also frequently interact with Bunker #88720 because the Bunker’s leader Dawn knows the egos very well. We’ll get to just how well she knows them later~
The egos are fragments of Jack's soul, for the most part.
Jack wore a costume, created a persona, and the community believed in that persona so much, that it brought them to life as their own separate person. When Jack recognizes the persona as an official ego, they receive a part of his soul. For right now, the “official” egos are: Jackieboy Man, Marvin the Magnificent, Henrik von Schneeplestein, Chase Brody and Jameson Jackson. (DISCLAIMER: I’m not covering much, if any, of Anti’s lore in this post, he has his own lore post).
The egos can only live if the community believes in them strongly enough. Without their belief, the ego will slowly regress, shut down and eventually go comatose while their soul piece gets ready to return to Jack. Jack can feel their soul pieces returning when they go comatose. You can tell the soul piece is getting ready to leave the ego when their chest glows blue.
As people, the egos are 90% reliant on what the community headcanons them as for their personality. Which isn't always a good thing.
For example, their headcanons for Jackie have given him a compulsive need to ALWAYS be the one saving people, not people saving him. He is also 100% ready to sacrifice himself and die for ANYONE in Jack's community. He is also "too nice" and is literally incapable of hating anyone, he cant even hate Anti. He can be very very angry with them, threaten them, or claim he hates them, but its never true. He just doesn't have the capacity.
Another example is Schneep. They headcanon that he's somewhat of a mad doctor. Because of this, he has lapses in sanity where he becomes very aggressive and more or less full of bloodlust. To keep his insanity under control, he has to operate on something, ANYTHING that's living. Not even his brothers are completely safe while he’s lapsed. Jackie being the selfless hero he is, voluntarily allows Schneep operate on him and examine his insides to see how they’re different since he's a superhero. They consider it a win/win situation; Jackie gets a better understanding of his superpowers, and Schneep gets something to take his madness-driven urges out on. But this is one of few headcanons that the egos have managed to make a counter for.
The egos are somewhat bitter about how the community has fucked them up a bit, and they don't exactly like that their lives are almost completely in the hands of a bunch of kids, but they don't openly express such unless they’re alone together. Of all the egos, Schneep is the most bitter about this all because their accusations that he was working with Anti started making him shut down like they were losing belief in him. It severely weakened his healing powers and THIS is why he failed to save Jack in August and was kidnapped and imprisoned by Anti during Kill Jacksepticeye.
All “canon” ego appearances on the channel were recorded by them (except for Say Goodbye, KJSE, Bro Average, and any of Anti’s other appearances. Those were all recorded by Anti.)
As parts of Jack’s soul, the egos have a certain balance to them. Jackie is Jack's optimism and persistence. He's what fuels Jack's determination to do good things and stay happy. He's sensitive to Chase, cause Chase is kind of the unlucky ego. Chase is Jack's fear of failure and overly self-critical tendencies. Jackie boosts him a lot. They balance each other; Jackie keeps Chase from getting too unstable and Chase keeps Jackie from acting like everything is sunshine and rainbows. They give each other reality checks that not everything is good all the time, but not everything is bad either. Marvin is Jack's creativity. Jackie influences him a ton. Without him, Marvin can’t usually think straight and he gets sorta depressed. And on the other hand, Marvin's ideas stimulate how hyperactive Jackie is. Schneep is Jack's sense of self-care, self-control and maturity. Its why you constantly have to nag him to do basic human things like eat and sleep. Jack does self-care but he's almost always preoccupied. Schneep is the same way, its just because Jack doesn't. As for the self-control thing, Schneep is relatively reserved and doesn't panic a lot, but he has moments where he gets a little crazy. Its just the way Jack is, occasionally he likes to let himself run loose with things, so Schneep gets a little insane. And his maturity is why Jack handles situations like hate comments and whatnot so well. Schneep is smart and calculating, so it makes Jack think about something before he does or says it. He keeps Jackie grounded so his high energy and blind positivity don't get him into trouble. He also gives Chase reassurance on things and reminds him he doesn't have to be scared he isn't good enough. And with Marvin, Schneep regulates his ideas so they remain realistic and feasible, not that he goes overboard and the idea becomes impossible to achieve. The four of them all balance each other out in different ways, and together they make up who Jack is as a person. They weren't created by him or the community with that intention, either. As they were each born, they just sort of took after whatever piece of Jack's soul would fit their character best. They know this much, but now that Jameson was recently acknowledged as an official ego, they aren’t sure how he balances with the others.

FUSIONS:
You bet your sweet ass the Bunker was inspired by @turquoisemagpie and made SepticEgo fusions a thing.
The egos can fuse their soul pieces to become more powerful in any situation that might call for it. BUT, they can only fuse as pairs, as all 5 of them, or one/all with Jack.
FUSION NAMES:
⦁ Heroic Mage (Jackie/Marvin) ⦁ Life Saver (Jackie/Schneep) ⦁ Super Shot (Jackie/Chase) ⦁ Hero Time (Jackie/Jamie) ⦁ Witch Doctor (Schneep/Marvin) ⦁ Magic Bullet (Chase/Marvin) ⦁ Magical Time (Marvin/Jamie) ⦁ Booster Shot (Schneep/Chase) ⦁ Dapper Doctor (Schneep/Jamie) ⦁ Father of Time (Chase/Jamie)
MORE FUSION FACTS:
⦁ Fusions cannot be corrupted by Anti. ⦁ When egos fuse with Jameson, they can hear his voice in their head. They are also very stealthy, fast, and precise. ⦁ When any ego fuses with Jackie, all powers are increased by super strength. ⦁ When any ego fuses with Schneep, they can self-heal and harder to hit (due to reflexes and increased pain tolerance). ⦁ When any ego fuses with Chase, they become bulletproof. ⦁ The fusion of all 5 egos is referred to as Ultimate Septicego. ⦁ If fused together for too long, their body will drain of energy and eventually their soul pieces will be painfully ripped apart, forcing them to defuse. ⦁ If a fusion is under too much strain/stress, they cannot defuse. They have to calm down before being able to, or they will be forced apart.
FUSION POWERS: Heroic Mage The most powerful fusion. Jackie's powers magnify Marvin's magic and vice versa. Both are also doubled in power by Jackie's super strength.
Life Saver The most dangerous fusion. They hit harder and faster. Jackie's abilities are strengthened. Schneep's powers give him the ability to heal himself, as well as make him immune to poison/other toxins.
Super Shot Jackie's strength and powers are weaponized into firearms/condensed into bullets. Bulletproof body which also increases Jackie's strength.
Hero Time Second most powerful fusion. Time manipulation can last longer due to super strength. Can create traps/etc with slime threads and freeze them in time until the right moment to activate them. Gives Jackie the ability to teleport. Septibubbles can also hold time rifts. Reflexes are faster and stronger; powerful speed fighter.
Witch Doctor Healing abilities increased. Spells hit targets more precisely and can be cast faster.
Magic Bullet Long-range spells condensed into bullets. Extremely harmful depending on the spell. Can alternatively be fired at allies with a spell to enhance their abilities.
Magical Time Spells can be cast faster, hit faster and the time it takes for them to take effect can be manipulated. Also has the ability to teleport.
Booster Shot Needle-sharp bullets that instantly knock out targets, can potentially kill targets if hit in the vitals. Schneep's reflexes increase aim accuracy.
Dapper Doctor Schneep's reflexes and Jamie's time manipulation abilities make this a hard fusion to surprise and an even harder fusion to hit.
Father of Time Bullets can be slowed or sped up. Firing rate increased.
THE EGO “TIMELINE”:
Jackie was born first (July 10th, 2016) and you can imagine it was very awkward for Jack to meet... "himself." The two were very very close, Jackie probably misses Jack now more than any other ego. After a while, he got kind of lonely being the only ego. He gets very excited and emotional when he gets a new brother. He even refers to his own existence as "being created" yet he refers to the other ego's creations as "being born."
Marvin is the second oldest (born August 11th, 2016). Jackie was absolutely overwhelmed with emotion when he got a "baby brother." It was just him and Marvin for a while...
Until Schneep was created (September 15th, 2016), he's the third oldest (though its easy to mistake him as the oldest). A little after he was created, Marvin was at some point taken and strung up by Anti. He eventually escaped and returned. He hides his red puppet strings with magic and since his escape, his septiceye has healed and gone away. While he was gone, Jackie and Schneep discovered Schneep's sanity lapses and began their secret operations on Jackie to take care of Schneep's violent urges.
Then Say Goodbye happened. They found Jack dying in his room, and Schneep sprung to action to save him. Anti has been created by the community, Jack makes the mistake of acknowledging him, and the Antipocalypse war begins. Jack is saved by Schneep and put into high security protection. The egos are sent to the Safehouse, a place specifically created to house and protect them from Anti. Marvin has several magical enchantments on it to make it safe, keep Anti out, and make it comfortable to live in.
Chase is created fourth (born April 11th, 2017). He's possessed/heavily manipulated by Anti and does the drive-by shooting, then flees to an office building to kill himself. Jackie received the call about the shooting and sprung into action to intervene and catch the suspect. He tracks Chase down to the office building but finds Chase just after he shoots himself. He realizes Chase is clearly an ego and rushes him to the Safehouse. Schneep saves Chase and he bonds heavily with Jackie while he recovers. Its later discovered the experience caused Chase to develop an attachment to Jackie (side note: an attachment is a side-effect of having a very personal experience with Anti).
Kill Jacksepticeye happens. The community accuses Schneep of working with Anti and starts to lose faith in him. Extremely weakened, he's unable to save Jack. Anti kidnaps them both after possessing Schneep. Jackie is left alone to protect Marvin and Chase. All three are devastated.
Jameson is born (October 31st, 2017). His vocal chords are ripped out and he's then possessed by Anti and used as a disguise during the Silent Film. But the community believed in him so much that it made him into his own person, rather than a disguise that would stop existing after Anti left his body. Jackie and Marvin found him still in a daze after being possessed and brought him back to the Safehouse. Jack acknowledged Jameson to give him a soul piece to make him an official ego on April 6th, 2018.
Since then, they've all lived together at the Safehouse as brothers. Until they met the Bunker. They now live at the Bunker most of the time. After moving into the bunker, a lot more has happened to them (which would take way too long to sort out on here) but the most important things to have happened are:
Dawn, who was Schneep’s nurse assistant at the hospital he worked at, married Schneep.
Jackie and Marvin pose as “dads” to three of the kids who live in the bunker, Rena, Lucy and Ethan. (@mini-hero-rena and @masohno respectively)

Note
okay so for your DR insert, what would her relationships with the other characters be like? romantic or platonic!
Ya want like…all them //kicked (we know I would sit there for an hour tellin ya all them so lets do a few)
She’s surprising decent friends with Naegi! They met through the Future Foundation and she and him became friendly thanks to her assisting his little “project” with the Neo World Program. He came into her life at a time that she really needed someone like him. Someone hopeful as he was for the future of the 77th class especially. She was fine with covering and assisting him with what he needed and when. Not to mention he’s a kind person so it was nice to have that sort of friendship when dealing with a lot of nonsense. They still hang out now and then for lunch when they have time.
Another obvious friend relationship she has is with Mitarai. As established prior, they are quite familiar with each other, enough to allow her to just appear at his place without much pre warning. They first met in late grade school and Dakota more or less admired his talent, especially since the two of their talents are very close to the other. And as addressed before as well, a lot of their relationship is almost fabricated by Dakota in a lot of ways. Not that it’s necessarily a bad or abusive relationship but more akin to she seems to act as if they are closer than how Mitarai really feels about it. He has spent his whole life with a wall around himself due to being bullied so he sort of doesn’t want or even believe he and Dakota could be friends. Heck he probably doesn’t understand how to be friends considering he spent majority of his life working on his craft. He just tolerated her and there is this apparent hidden annoyance with her if she gets to be too loud or troublesome. It isn’t until Impostor comes into the picture and he learns to sort of rely on him as well as be aware of the friendship that develops between Impostor and Dakota as they play the two friends very well because it’s what everyone else also assumes they are just as Dakota does. He sees what his actions do to that friendship and his supposed classmates. And it’s when he is basically almost pushed into true despair from the reality of what he helped caused that he did understand. But he got into the point that he could never fix his mistakes and dived deeper into his own negative emotions. True he interacted with Dakota more and she still tried look after him but he still feared that intimacy of friendship with someone he clearly hurt so much with his actions. Especially when the NWP became infected and Impostor was killed so quickly before Naegi and his team could try to stop it. Knowing Dakota had to witness such brutality against the person she was trying to save so desperately worn at him with immense guilt. He tried to help her though, to be there in some ways he could. He owed her that after all that had happened and what she had done for him.
But it’s not until after the Final Killing game and him finally letting go of his guilt and walls that he understood that he didn’t “owe” her and she still wanted his friendship even though he was a prominent cause of so much despair. Often, Mitarai does not feel he deserves that kindness but Dakota just bursts in all the time to tell him otherwise and makes him workout with her now. “I can’t stand the idea that you’re going to waste away, Ryota! So we’re gonna work out together so I don’t slack off and you get to finally become more than a pile of bones, k? Then after we can watch this new series I saw advertised the other day.”
Unsurprising one of Dakota’s favorite underclassmen is Gundham. She adores his talent with animals and sort of uses their friendship as an excuse to play with his animal friends. Also she finds his personality to be super interesting to the point she almost wants to make a character based on him. Which embarrassed the life out of Gundham as he claimed he was unworthy of such praise. She’s very active in wanting to help him so she can learn more about the different animals he cares for as well as getting a chance to listen to his unique speak pattern more so she can better understand what he’s talking about as she, just as most people, can be a little perplexed about what he’s talking about. Still he’s always surprisingly fun to hang around and never fails to get a good laugh out of her. Even if it might not be intentional on his part sometimes;;
A relationship that can be considered a little more surprising is probably Dakota’s relationship with both Peko and Fuyuhiko. I say this simply because there is a slight difference between the real Dakota and her AI she had put into the NWP.
While her admiration and more mature conversations are still the same with Peko, it’s interesting to note the AI Dakota seems to have a possible crush on Fuyuhiko. This could be due to, just like the others, her memory is only up to the first day of the 77th’s day of school so she has not developed her premature feelings for Impostor and they die too soon for her to grow a friendship with them. Where as she spends more time with Fuyuhiko in the program and is always fond of him in both forms. So it’s natural to assume she might has feelings for him over time, especially considering she isn’t as aware of his and Peko’s possible future relationship either.
The real Dakota has the same fondness for Fuyuhiko and loves to tease the boy over various things. One especially being when his more true and kinder personality slips here or there. The typical over the top reaction always gets a kick out Dakota as she’s pretty unaffected by his flavorful use of curses. You can tell she’s been hanging out with him too much when she is dropping f bombs more often without a care. She also just as an infinity for suits so she likes dragging him out to get him a cool new look to impress his peers.
Overtime quick thoughts of the others below:
DR 1 survivors:
Byakuya Togami - Hate ‘im. Stuck up and rude af. The reason AI Dakota was pretty distant with Twogami at first.
Aoi Asahina - Ball of joy, brings great snacks. Give me all the swim time.
Kyoko Kirigiri - So pretty and mysterious~ Reminds her of Peko…Will rely on her for more intense situations.
DR2 cast:
Hajime Hinata - Very friendly with him and respects him quite a lot. Even after he and Izuru become one being. Calls him Hinazru sometimes as a joke.
Akane Owari - Super strong and tbh sort of scared of her.
Chiaki Nanami - Sweet quite gal who gives good game reqs. AI bros I mean what
Hiyoko Saionji - //cringes and looks away
Ibuki Mioda - Another ball of joy, great to go out with and let loose.
Kazuichi Soda - Smelly but good boy who needs to chill. She loves his aesthetic and machines.
Mahiro Koizumi - Pretty down to earth but needs to loose those traditional morals man.
Mikan Tsumiki - Nice but sometimes she grows tired of her “tripping accidents” and weak demeanor.
Naigto Komaeda - //looks away again
Nekomaru Nidai - So cool but so scary! She worries the day he tries to coach her send help.
Sonia Nevermind - The prettiest person ever? She adores Sonia and loves spending time with her.
Teruteru Hanamura - Surprisingly ok with him. Loves his food and turns a blind eye most times to his pervy jokes.
Junko Enoshima - Death.
DR3 anime cast:
Kyosuke Munakata - Respects him, really. Even after everything that happened there isn’t truly any hard feelings between them.
Chisa Yukizome - Appreciated her as a teacher, thought she gave good advise. (I’m glad Dakota doesnt know what she did)
Juzo Sakakura - Also respects him but will argue endlessly with him no matter if he threatens her or throws a punch.
Daisaku Bandai - Loves talking about plants with him! She really valued the helpful tips he gave.
Kazuo Tengan - Trusted him and was the one to advise she join the Future Foundation after all.
Seiko Kimura - One of her former classmates. Got along better then the others and would make her some headache medicine from late nights.
Ruruka Ando - //looks away (Ruruka was known to accuse Dakota for any times the 77th Remnants attacked/got away because of the speculated relationship she had with that class)
Sonosuke Izayoi - Great skill, cool style, annoying relationship
#boom#i think too much about this#I WISH MY SI GOT TO MEET ISHI MY SON#I LOVE HIM WHY HE DIE#si:dr#answered asks#self insert#stubbornselfshipping
