YAY i can post about this now that i have refs done! this is mine and @transgendermilesprower’s swap au where sonic and tails switch places with surge and kit! i designed the former two and he designed the latter :3 this au’s been my own personal brainworm for the past week or so LOL. i’ve even put sonic and tails up on art fight!!

This was the hardest vote so far because I really, really love both of these guys (and aus). S tier designs and concepts on both sides. <3 And their colors contrast each other so nicely: super muted and super bright! I thought it would be neat if they met, so this was my guess on how that would go. I figured Tails would be weirded out at the sight of another doppelganger and go on the offensive, while Screw would be more skittish. Fight and flight, basically (more contrast!). I hope I did them justice. owo;;

Since I couldn't vote for you both, at least I could do fanart for both! And serve up some propaganda for RECOIL in the next round.

some character designs for the 🔄 au!! with sonic and shadow having swapped places, sonic was not present for a majority of the rest of the team's lives, and their paths went a little differently. tails and amy are taken into custody by G.U.N., while knuckles is occasionally recruited as an on-n-off agent, similar to rouge in canon. sonic later joins their team after the events of SA2 (???)

They then spent the rest of the night talking about Hot Wheels modifications and the flavor Blue Raspberry. Until Tails fell asleep by accident and Sonic had to carry him to bed.

I think its a rite of passage to make an au at least once, and ive been thinking super hard about how Sonic raised tails lately. So obviously an age swap au had to happen. Aka, the au in which they are both team turbo nerd and Tails needs a Vacation as a dire medical suggestion. (more rambling in tags)

This au has been bouncing around in my brain for a while so I thought I'd finally share it!

Introducing..... The "Heros & Villains Swap AU"! (or "H&VS!AU" for short)

A Sonic the Hedgehog au where the hero and villain characters swap places! Here are all the swaps so far!

I'm still working out swaps for other characters, (Both Rouge and Blaze have been considered for swapping with The End, Merlina possibly being swapped with Elise,) so look out for those post when they come!

I can't wait to keep on yapping and making content about this au!

Y’all remember when I said I’d wait till the movie comes out to design Shadow? Well, I lied! I’m too exited to not make a design I like.

Redrew the others too because I’m finally getting comfortable drawing people again. Makes me very happy!
