Hey Suzette what are you thinking about?
"Oh well..I..."
Her mouth hangs ever so slightly open as she gives you an unsettling wide eyed stare like she forgot she was talking in the middle of her sentence. She giggles and looks around for a second before scurrying off.

Crystal nodded slightly, having to close her jaw. This wasn’t... and automatic dumpster fire? What?
“One clotty glass of blood, coming on up.”
The woman nodded a little bit, turning towards the oven-the perfect place to store the warm drink. She opened it and pulled out a rather large bottle, one may use for champagne or wine. “I hope this is enough, Jack used some when baking the cookies.”
She reached towards a cabinet that was filled with an assortment of cups and glasses. Some decorated with kids TV shows, some having a little gothic flare. The ice queen plucked out a wine glass and sat it on the island.
With a flick of her finger, an icicle-like claw grew upon it, and Crystal used said claw like a bottle-opener, popping it open with ease.
As she poured, the frozen lady looked up in surprise at the question, before looking over at the redheaded frostwoman and where she was staring.
“Oh!” Crystal chuckled. “Jack actually got that. He found it one night while out hunting. Killed some couple and found that on their wall.” She shook her head in rememberance.
“I was pregnant with Claudia at the time. I woke up that morning and there it was, and there Jack was with the proudest shit-eating grin since Mikey said ‘Daddy’ first.” A laugh left her lips this time.
“Glad to know your Jack has the same sense of humor.” She handed Suzy the glass with a smile, before she stared once more. Damn, this was going so well!
The mother nodded. “Uh sure! Lemme tell Di-Di and I can show you around.” Crystal turned towards the living room, walking over and poking her head in. “Di-Di, Momma’s gonna show Mrs Frost around. You and Jane stay here and be good okay?”
Di-Di, who had been listening to Jane speak intently, perked up to look over. “Okay mom!”
Crystal turned back to the fellow frostwoman. “So, where to first?”

“JANE!” Di-Di excitedly rushed over the moment she saw the mother and daughter step through the portal. The little girl’s words were fast and extremely happy. “MommythisisJaneohwaityouknowherHiotherMrsFrostJanearethosebooks?!” She beamed, jumping up and down, her pink skirt bouncing like it was full of balloons.
“Momma and I made some kool-aid and she let me put it in her pretty skull teapot! You want some? Daddy added some blood to it to make it extra yummy!”
Tumblr media
Crystal’s eyes had immediately met the shorter frozen woman’s the moment she walked through the damned portal. That smile- the smile they put on creepy clow-eugh-clown ventriloquist dummies told her that she didn’t really wanna do this either.
‘Well at least we can agree on something’
The icy lady was distracted by the little adorable girl in front of her and she slid on a smile. She was upset about this but she wasn’t gonna let the little ones know that. It was their day, after all.
The mother couldn’t help but chuckle at her daughter’s happy little smile at her new friend and took up her job as hostess.
“Hi Jane! It’s so good to meet you, little Di-di here has been chatting all day long about you! Of course you can play, come on in!” She gestured towards the house for the two.
Di-di began talking about some book or another, and with that, Crystal turned towards Suzy, her smile still there but sort of a tired smile. “Suzy, that’s ncie of you to bring something. You want me to take it off your hands? We can put it by the cookies for the girls.”
Tumblr media
'Keep it together Cryssy, you just gotta deal with little miss gremlin twat for a couple hours'
The frozen woman sighed as she set the cookies Jack had made onto a plate. How she wished her husband were here right now but of course today had to be hunting day with the boys and Claudia.
Crystal didn't like Suzy. She would have liked to get to know her, talk to her since they are both married to variants of Jack, but.... differences got in the way. Not for Crystal, but for Suzy. It seemed everything about Crystal was wrong in Suzy's eyes, and Crystal really really really didn't want to deal with her today but hey, she had to.
She looked towards the portal that rested in the living room every now and then, taking a bite out of a cookie herself. It tasted of blood, fat, and white chocolate chips. Nice. Maybe some blood will cool her down while she waited.
They were for the kids, but she knew Didi wouldn't mind if she took one. She was sweeter than a cake made of rainbows. Which was also why the play-date was happening. The little princess inviting a new friend.
Tumblr media
"MAMA!"
Speaking of-
"Are they coming yet? I've got the kool-aid in the tea pot and turned Just Dance on!" The little Di-Di grinned, gesturing towards the living room where said things were indeed showing.
Crystal smiled at her young daughter's excitement. "Any second honey."
Hopefully.
Suzy clutched the edge of her vanity so hard there was claw marks on the surface, despite the fact she was wearing gloves.
She had done things that would make hardened detectives cower in a pool of their own vomit but this time reality was going to have to take her kicking and screaming.
A play date at those people's house.
Normally she was the type of mother that made other parents feel like they were just bad at their jobs but today she truly struggled. Maybe Jane would simply...get over it? She handed out lies to her children like they were cookies all the time.
She told herself that it wasn't a matter of personal pettiness. As a mother it was her job to raise her children with the right decorum and values, going into a home where there was no clear hierarchy in sight just wouldn't do. The man of the house just did whatever that woman told him to do. On top of it that was somehow an alternate version of her husband. She wasn't sure whether the idea made her want to laugh or made her stomach turn with rage.
As her mind tumbled down the spiral staircase of her thoughts she stared at herself in the mirror, the rest of the world falling away.
"Mommy? Is everything alright Mommy?"
A soft voice called out, the feeling of a mitten like hand patting her leg pulling her back. There stood her daughter, almost as tall as her already. Suzy immediately began to pat Jane's sides, pulling here prodding there, making the plaid coat she wore as tidy as possible.
"May I bring these with me Mommy? I think she would quite like them."
Suzy looked to the collection of books that Jane held, the titles beyond her ages normal reading level making her beam with pride. This smile stayed as she studied the rest of the girls face, her meek voice and expression matching the fragile form it came from.
Suzette began to ponder if this would do Jane some good. Crystal's children were quite, how would she put it kindly, generic. Perhaps Jane wouldn't feel as pressured to perform and come put of her shell. Even further, Suzy herself saw her as much grander than her own mother, perhaps Crystal's children could come to impress her. It was almost complimentary.
However, it came out as...
"Yes you may Jane darling, I would wager that your new friend is a tad behind as one might say."
She waltzed out of the bedroom and took a stop at the kitchen to pick up a little something she was going to bring with her. No matter what she felt about Crystal, today she was hostess and Suzy was guest.
----------------
On the other end of the portal Suzy stood like a statue, holding the tupperware to her chest and staring into Crystal's eyes. Her smile almost stretched off of her face, not a nerve or wrinkle or a tearduct twitching.
It was almost like she was just Jane's accessory.
Jane rolled forward and curtseyed using the edges of her coat.
"Hello Mrs. Frost. How are you today? You have a lovely home. My name is Jane! May I please play with your daughter?"

Go check out my best friend's au. She's got her lore to a t and she works SO HARD for it!
How much of that Rosemary Clooney Christmas carol inspired Suzy's character? Have you heard it?
Anon I could kiss you on the mouth I've wanted to talk about this for so long
For those of you that don't know, I also suggest reading the lyrics:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P5k2lAK8VED
I actually learned about it after I made her in elementary school but it was soon after, before that I had just heard of like suzy snowflake as a christmas concept same as jack frost or santa claus, with multiple interpretations
Anyway, you'll notice that in the song she's a child oriented figure.
I've mentioned it in passing a few times but never had the opportunity to get into it but Suzys not usually someone to be trusted with other peoples children. Not because she's bad with them, quite the opposite, she can very easily entertain and care for young ones (as we see with her own kids and in the song).
hoWEVer, if you see her being super duper friendly with a kid that's not her own either
A) its the kid of someone whose friendship she values so she just compartmentalizes and it's fine
OR
B) you should keep a close eye, she is trying to eat that child
This is something she and Santa bond over ofc much to Jack and Virginias parental-instinct filled dismay, Ginny's not a fan of children either as you know but she still has that natural "this thing is small and vulnerable and doesn't deserve the bad coming to it" mentality.
-but yeah basically the whole song just not in the way you think. If you haven't yet I suggest reading the lyrics now but with a ✨ malicious undertone ✨
ps. "If you want to make a snowman. I'll help you make one, one, two, three"
I mean it takes a little longer than that 😏😏😏
BDJDKD ok peace out

How does Suzy feel about not having servants? Since she now has to do all of the housework herself?
This is a great question! You see, sometimes when something bothers Suzy and she can't change it or it doesn't align with her usual worldview, she "adapts" a little, explains it away.
As you may know, nowadays she's a chore completing machine and isn't happy if she's left without something to do. That, because of a lot of things, is because of Jack.
Firstly, in the sense that well he made it pretty clear that he wanted to come home to a well taken care of house and a hot meal when he got back from killing/providing her with the meat she was to inexperienced to hunt for herself. The way she sees it, she's simply doing what she should be. She's not only skilled but making a sacrifice for her family.
Would she happily have maids and servants again if there was a way? Absolutely, she still thinks she deserves that, but as things are now with them not being very interconnected with the rest of the supernatural community (until later), she has to do it herself. Suzy has kind of "well that's simply what happens when you're part of such an elusive and elite group" attitude about that.
Secondly, it was the only way she was going to get back to anything near the level of comfort she was once used to. She didn't have much else to do before all the kids came along, so she had to....*shudders* WORK to make her space comfortable. Considering the fact she would never dare complain to Jack, she very quickly learned to love it, especially when she only got more and more praise as the years went on.

White Diamond
“White is described as being difficult and has a temper that can take a while to cool down: She appeared both calm and understanding during her first meeting with Steven, greeting him (as Pink Diamond) warmly despite his appearance bearing no resemblance to how Pink Diamond actually looked. However, White is curt and dismissive, interrupting Steven whenever he tries to speak to her, and then immediately sends him away to another room without warning as soon as she is done. She treats the entire affair with the Earth, the Rebellion, Pink's faked shattering and absence for the last 6,000 years with a mixture of patronization and nonchalance, remarking it all being simply one of "Pink's games" and asks Steven (as Pink) if he "had fun" and "got it out of [his] system."
Lucille Bluth
“Lucille is extremely critical and manipulative of those around her and usually acts in a completely self-serving way. Years of living a life of luxury have brought out her harsh elitism, perhaps best shown by how poorly she treats her housekeeper. Even those of her social status are not immune, such as her "best friend" who is constantly plotted against by Lucille Bluth. Even while raising the kids, Lucille never put anyone else before her. She's very comfortable letting her children know what disappointments they are.”
Mary Poppins
“She is extraordinary and strange, neat and tidy, delightfully vain yet particular, and sometimes a little frightening but always exciting. She is practically perfect in every way and always means what she says. Mary Poppins is sweet and nurturing, but she is no pushover. She guides Jane and Michael in the right directions with a gentle, but firm hand.”
Patrick Bateman
This one is a little more complicated, Patricks function in the novel is not to have a personality.
To quote a user, “To assign Patrick Bateman a personality is to miss the point of the character’s role and function in the novel. Asking for a description of Bateman’s personality is similar to asking for a description of the personality of a well-dressed mannequin in a high-end men’s fashion store. What you see is what you get or, in the context of the novel, what you read is what you see.”
However, the best example for the inspiration I took from him is this portion from his monologue in the beginning of the film:
“There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.”
Pristine Klimer
“She is rich, beautiful, and resourceful, yet arrogant. Like other Hill parents, she has little concern for her children. She looks down on the Valley people for their deformities and being lower-class like other Hill residents do. Pristine can be a bit over-dramatic, but is shown to have a forgiving side. She's constantly seen smiling, but at times her grinning comes off as forced.”
Francine Smith
“Francine is a stereotypical trophy housewife who generally seems to enjoy her position in life. She has previously criticized Stan for locking her up without any shirts to fold, as she "hates down time." A devoted housewife and unconditionally loving mother who tries to have her family bond with one another. Francine also had a tendency to be extremely obsessive sometimes to the point of threatening loved ones or even mutilating herself to reach her goals. When she was desperate to have another baby, she actually aimed a gun at her own husband though she deliberately missed when she fired it. Francine's brain has been repeatedly damaged or tampered with by her husband in acts of foolishness.”
Karen Smith
“Dim-witted, easy-going, and flirty. Karen might not be the “most smartest,” but she could be psychic. (She even thinks she can predict the weather with her breasts.) Although she’s easily influenced by her friends, she still loves hanging out with them and doing fun things. With her enthusiastic approach to life, Karen has a magnetic presence and people enjoy being in her company.”

What would make Suzy cry?
She cries from laugher or physical pain all the time. When it comes to emotional pain though-
The earliest time she was concious, like not just a kid crying because she didn't get her way was when her father "left" he was the first person she was able to obtain an emotional connection with and it's very like that she got even worse after experiencing that pain for the first time.
Even when Jack never called her back she didn't cry. She was just filled with entitled anger.
However, the next time she truly cries is when she...I guess goes through Frostbitten menopause is the term. She stops getting her period and stops being able to get pregnant. Suzy feels like her whole perfect identity crumbled to her feet and that it would be the cause of her losing everything. She grew up engrossed in a world where men would get the heir to their businesses out of young women then throw them away once they turned 25 before moving on to a younger model.
Despite being well aware that Jack didn't plan on doing this to her for more reasons than she could count, deep seering fear couldn't help but come rushing into her for the very first time. Another first for her, she really and truly breaks down.

I like to think the kids like to fuck with Suzy by listing off plots from different crime shows to see how she'll react and her reaction is NEVER surprising Janet: "So they just snatch this this little girl from her bed, break in and everything, because they have a kid her age and in their community every bride is like kidnapped I guess and we see that the mom was kidnapped when she was this little girls age and straight up doesn't think she and her husband did anything wrong." Suzy: "Oh my how sweet, it is so wonderful to see parents truly put in effort to carry on their traditions with their children. Anything, for my pride and joy I always say!"

I love Suzy and Virginia's dynamic so much Virginia: Oy, can you do like that...prissy books on your head thing?
Suzy: Yes I can. *Proceeds to not only walk without them falling but sets the table and serves drinks too*
Virginia: Cool cool, guess what though? Virginia: *Goes to kick the books off her head and ends up kicking Suzy in the face*

15 and 21 for the pride month ask!
15. Do any of your ocs use neopronouns? Which ones?
Not officially but I have mentioned in the past that Suzy would unintentionally, she enjoys being referred to by it/it's pronouns (secondary to she/her) but she wouldn't think to ASK to be referred to that way
21. Free ramble card wee
Hnngh I'm not a fan of vague stuff like this tbh I have SO much lore I really don't know where I'd start, I'm not a "free random ramble" person, I apologize
