Now, Xavier really loved Eloise. They were young lovers who fell for each other hard and fast, considering their circumstances of their families wanting them to marry to grow wealth and status they could have been very lucky. Eloise was the one who abused Suzy don't get me wrong but that never would have happened if he hadn’t pressured her to fulfill his dreams (not to mention what was expected of them) pertaining to being a father. This all being said he regrets the circumstances but he would never regret having Suzy, he only regrets not acting sooner and as he feels allowing Eloise to take her from him. I.e the first song is about Xavier and Eloise’s young love and the second is about Xavier’s feelings towards his daughter.

The first song is from Janet’s playlist but I think it fits with Virginia as well if you think of dancing not as a good coping skill but as a metaphor for the party life, drugs, sex, and rock and roll so to speak. She seems so confident and perfect, you won’t hear her talk about her problems because she’s too busy being high off her ass. This is because, leading in to the next song, she’s coping with deep seated fears on inadequacy and anxiety. Balancing a near demi-gd strength complex and severe imposter syndrome, like she doesn’t deserve her current status in life and something bad is bound to happen.

Ok I know these are do very different songs and it’s kind of silly lol, but, I think it's a matter of different stages of her life. As you may recall Anne Murray is Suzy's favorite musical artist. I like to think that after Jack, in her eyes, ghosted her and she was dealing with new emotions for the first time in her life she turned to music as dramatic young women tend to do. (Been there girl.) Now that she's an adult and come in to her true self we have the "Suzy Snowflake" child...i can't call her a child predator dear gd 💀a...slasher who kills children persona. She's not as "on the level" of the children as the song is but she's very good with them but not good FOR them.

Well start with one you and I have already discussed:

Rotgut ⭐️

I think he and Virginia would get along swimmingly! To start with the more lighthearted stuff. Virginia’s closest friends in the whole world and the love of her life are pleasure seeking people who take joy in the misery of others, it’s her idea of a good time! She doesn’t have much of an appetite but she lives to serve when it comes to cooking so when they hung out Rotgut could devour food to his hearts content. Flirting (and sarcasm) is one of the things she struggles with comprehending so stuff like that wouldn’t really bother her or phase her.

It’s not that she’d be unaware he was DTF lol she would be as well, it’s part of the reason why she’s drawn to him in particular despite him not being the plumpest of the sins as you said. She loves watching people eat. Unfortunately, even if he did clean himself up for company she and her husband Santa are both aware of the extent of his filth. She worries that if she did sleep with him Santa wouldn’t be able to get the image of roaches and grime out of his head when he touched her, which would obviously cause problems in their marriage.

Virginia is too a hedonist at heart and could understand the addictive nature of Rotgut’s predicament, considering she is straight up an addict herself. Though her addiction isn’t something she really sees as a problem.

Eden 🤏

I honestly can’t see Virginia having a strong opinion on him one way or the other, if anything I assume he would be uncomfortable around her because of his attachment to his religion and her being the wife of the literal antichrist 💀 If he’s caught her on an off day she might misinterpret his anxiety out of her own paranoia at which point it becomes a sort of high school bully situation on her part.

Claude 🤏

Upon first glance Claude’s aesthetic of rococo French aristocracy would draw her in immediately, reminding Virginia of her best friend. His attitude would cement her favor towards him for the same reason. From there it comes down to how he’ll treat her. To a certain extent Claude can enjoy the privilege of the sort of spell Suzy has Virginia under (metaphorically) but there’s a level of abuse she’s willing to put up with. Claude and Rotguts “thing” they have going on would be a plus since as we’ve established Virginia is fond of Rottie.

It depends on whether or not Claude is the jealous type, maybe he would misinterpret Virginia’s openness and excitement towards Rotgut as romantic intention and act hostile towards her? At which point she would fight back.

Freddy ❌

Would Freddy consider Virginia a monster? She’s basically just a white woman with big ears. SCARY.

Wrath is Virginia’s own cardinal sin. These two have a LOT in common. Being misunderstood since their youth, bottling up seething resentment, constant self deprecation. As characterized by various mental illnesses, Virginia has an ego but also deeply hates herself. It’s for this reason that I think meeting someone SO much like herself wouldn’t go well. Especially because Virginia’s response to her anger issues, partially because of the drugs, is the extrovert counterpart to Freddy’s hermitness. I could see them blowing up at each other ALL the time, probably not even on

Of course there is also the aspect of Freddy’s friendship with Eden, if Virginia has chosen to interpret Eden’s meekness as an insult to her I imagine it’d be on sight hostility for them both

Ok these two have hands down my favorite dynamic there’s so many interesting things going on here. I think this is a case where Virginia would really long for a friendship with him but I don’t think he’d like her?

She would be drawn to him of course as a remnant of the culture she never got to experience herself but at the same time I don’t know if Willy would be happy to talk about it, considering he also didn’t get to experience it.

Virginia of course is in an incredible position of privilege being the wife to the antichrist and a sort of dowager queen of hell, while she doesn’t flaunt this it would be clear that she has power based on the way the other elves react to her. Even if he did kill her for this she would just walk right back in to the North Pole which I imagine would be very frustrating.

I think in an attempt to satisfy her own desires and to try and get on his good side she would introduce him to higher up elves who are living better than the rest who he could kill with impunity.

She is also lowkey stealing his rabies medication but anyways-

Jeremiah ❌

This is another on sight relationship after a certain point I think. As I mentioned above despite being a queen in her own right Virginia doesn’t flaunt her wealth or wear fine things. What she does have for Jeremiah however, is a connection to Suzy. Suzy is kind of dumb but art history and fine jewels are things she is knowledgeable on, while she likes Jeremiah and has purchased from him she would eventually get tired of things disappearing from her home. A friendship with Virginia is a foot back in the door.

Though if Virginia discovers that she was being used it’s all over and Jeremiah loses any opening to either of their riches.

Sün ✅

Virginia is obviously not a reverent person lol she calls her father in law Lucy and waltzes in to his inner sanctum to make small talk with him and see if she can run any errands for his approval. Virginia would think her and Sün are at least friendly acquaintances but I don’t know if he would feel the same way? Since she’s not worshipping him in any way shape or form, if he did demand it she’d just laugh and think he was joking LOL

She would probably get herself killed a few times by sticking her hand or finger under his hood and getting herself 100 degree burns from the heat of the literal fucking sun, writhing on the floor as Santa laughs at her 😂

Virginia would be a useful asset to Sün if, like Lucifer, there was any sort of favors he wanted her to do for him! She’d be happy to help such a powerful deity.

Virginia usually enjoys being hyper-independent, but in very intimate situations, she likes being cared for. Santa washing her hair and massaging her scalp is one of the best feelings almost as good as when he braids it for her afterwards, since no one ever taught her how as a kid.

What comforts your character when they need cheering up?

I would probably never do anything with this but I like thinking about a school AU because everything about it is so funny

Virginia is the janitor that all the kids are scared of

The issue comes with making a choice for Jack and Suzy bc every option has so much potential

In my school when they didn't have enough staff to assign to every class they would make the gym teachers take over, Jack could be a creepy gym teacher who's surprisingly good at home economics

Suzy could also be a home economics teacher, one who can't be fired for the misogynistic undertones of her class because her father owns the school

Though I think Suzy teaching history or science would be so much funnier

Of course, Jack made the cake he wouldn’t have it any other way. Suzy gets to be the center of attention and he’s happy to have that for his bride but he’s getting some recognition too.

Suzy loves Cheesecake so that’s what she got! It’s massive and tiered just like any other wedding cake, with a little wedding topper (the kids got together and made it as a gift :)

However! Each tier is a different flavor of cheesecake for the guests (it’s mostly their kids LOL) preferences.

Going from bottom to top

Tier 1: Classic Cheesecake

Santa and Virginia did not give a shit about their wedding, it was a ceremony entirely devised and for hells elite demon class and Lucifer himself. So there was a lot of dessert and an impressive hedonistic feast.

Evergreen pushed Santa to ask if Virginia wanted anything at all and she just kind of shrugged and went, “I like carrot cake.”

As you know of course Suzy can’t actually get drunk in the normal way, she drinks for the flavor. I don’t know if she’d necessarily like fruity flavors, maybe the drinks flavored like cake and candy would be more her style? The vodka thing is 100% though she loves drinking stuff like that or everclear for the flavor and the scent, honestly I think she WOULD drink rubbing alcohol.

I was going to bring up Viking mead but I don’t think it’s fun if Santa likes EVERYTHING from Viking culture you know, I think it’s in character that he would be pretentious and see mead as swill despite it being what he was raised on
