Yeah the La sociedad de la nieve movie is insanely good but now that I'm finally reading the book. I'm experiencing emotions previously unknown to man

#it's one thing watching a good movie adaptation. it's something else reading the words of the survivors themselves #mostly I'd really need my father to read it because he's soo convinced of that whole »people become savages in survival situations« thing #which just! isn't true!! look what those boys did up there! look how they survived!#but yeah. will never happen because the book isn't translated into German </3 #anway forcing myself to go on a walk now to retrieve some part of my sanity wish me luck #⚓

His Culture (bc no one man will be an accurate reflection of a whole society) compared to (mostly headcanon/fanon) Falmeri Cultur #AS WELL i think his whole elves v. falmer thing speaks to intense trauma and also bias as a result of isolation even b4 becoming a cave her #but thats besides the point.#i dont know. smacks him over the head for using his own culture as a weapon. reclaim it dude be ndn- w8 no be falmer sorry this is skyrim.#the mix of survivors guilt cultural bias racism trauma and isolation in this guys head is so compelling to me i want to vivisect him
