Drawing all of the Ninja skinny in this year of our Lord Ras 2024 is just embarrassing. What do you mean the only body types you give them are Bodybuilder and Twink. Where's their chub. Where's their muscles built for strength and speed instead of for showing off. Why are they shrink-wrapped and dehydrated. Stop it.

In short, instead of being focused on Jason's learning to live with his own trauma with the help of his family (something he didn't have on the normal run since he was dead and resurrected and far away from Gotham), "Robin lives" still focus on Bruce and his trauma of almost losing Robin.

WHAT THE FUCKING HELL.

I can understand that the comics after "Death in the Family" focus on Bruce and his inability to grieve in a healthy manner. After the dead person is dead, even to the audience.

But on "Robin lives", where it started with Jason waking up from a coma after almost getting killed by the Joker, why the comic is so focused on Bruce and his regrets? What about the surviving victim? What about Jason? The first chapter was beautiful it shows that Sheila's betrayal (mostly forgotten in the other timelines) cut deep in Jason's heart, to the point of trauma.

Let's talk about the psychologist/psychiatrist that should have been there for Jason.

I believe that she, as the narrator, is also, on the meta level, the DC itself. Her focus in on Bruce, even if she is called to take care and help Jason, a bit like the DC should have written a story about Jason (with him as a protagonist) but goes back of showing how tormented Bruce is about Jason's fate and how Jason is doomed.

WHAT THE HELL.

First of all, why/how it's possible that the Joker just scared Jason a bit and that was enough to turn him to Joker Junior. Hell, on Arkham Knight, the Joker had to torture Jason for a year (and many months) to turn him against Batman. And on Joker Junior, wasn't Tim (from the cartoon) tortured for weeks? I understand that the comic was for 4 issues, but a temporal tag between Joker gets his hands on Jason and then Joker shows the world a Jokerized Robin would have been better on the pacing. Would have explained why Jason did beat that person on Joker's orders.

It would have made the message "I have let the bird free" more ominous for Batman and Nightwing to find, especially after so much time they didn't know where Jason was and how long he was alone with the Joker.

Bruce putting the cowl away and marrying his (or it was Jason's) psychologist is so ooc. Like, the unprofessional way for the psychologist to get together with her patient (or her patient's father, again, was she working to care for Jason or to care for Bruce?)

Dick becoming Batman was forced, but it looks like that Batman was more Nightwing than the Dark Knight, even if he was and should stay as Nightwing.

But Jason becoming the Joker no. I can't accept it. It's like the DC is saying "we don't care about Jason for Jason itself, but we care on how much we can destroy this character for the benefit of the others".

armand intending to kill louis after all and actively orchestrating his death in the trial is not my favorite choice narratively but it does hilariously reframe his entire character and motivations. like he just seems like a complete psychopath now, flailing his way through life and making detached decisions based on random opportunities. he chooses the coven over louis out of loyalty and because of doubt about their relationship, essentially betraying the person he claims to "want more than anything in the world", then when said person doesn't actually die as planned, he suddenly decides that he can save his life after all so he helps louis escape, THEN he sees the opportunity to get back in louis's good graces by pretending he is the one who saved him, decides NOT to warn the coven about the impending attack, despite having been ready to kill the man he loves for them like a WEEK AGO, resulting in the entire coven being murdered. and then he stays with louis for 77 years, while fully aware that louis is only with him to spite lestat. like his switch from "i’ll orchestrate louis's death to remain a part of the coven" to "actually fuck the coven, i'm going to be with louis" in such a short time span is.... unhinged, to say the least. did he secretly want the coven destroyed and is that why he did not inform them?? did he make a last-minute decision that it was better this way because the coven being wiped out would mean no live witnesses of his role in the trial which would give him a shot at fixing his relationship with louis? but then why go through all the bother of picking the coven over louis and setting up the trial which would see him executed in the first place? was he just like hmmmm louis wants to go on a suicidal killing spree so... let's just see what happens!! whoever comes out alive i guess i'll pick :) like do you care about anything actually???

the sheer amount of times they looked at each other with the purest of feelings and made innuendos towards each other is enough to prove to me that destiel was intended all along but lemme pull up my receipts.

4. the way they look at each other. the way they are canonically each other’s weaknesses, the ones that can break each other out of spells/trances

5. i need to say it again. dean is literally cas’ weakness. this is the one and only timeline where dean actively caused cas to fall in love with humanity (him) and fall from heaven.
