Do not tarotize Lenormand.
Many Lenormand readers, deck artists and book writers began their work with tarot before crossing over. Unfortunately, this means that some of them erroneously blur the lines between the systems’ similarities.
MOON vs. THE MOON
The link between the two does not exist. Tarot’s is about illusions and confusion; Lenormand’s is about work and reputation. Tarot’s The Moon referring to emotions is a watering down of its abovementioned meanings. And its association with protection is astrological in origin – The Moon being the ruler of motherly sign Cancer.
COFFIN vs. DEATH
These two do echo each other. But Death has evolved over the years to primarily mean transformation, while Coffin has retained its meaning of physical death and final endings. Death transforms the cards near it, while Coffin irreversibly ends the card that the foot of its casket (or the funeral pall) is pointing towards.
STARS vs. THE STAR
They are indeed similar, but Lenormand’s is plural, and that one additional letter changes many things. The Star is about your biggest hope at the moment, while Stars is about all of your wishes. When it comes to people, tarot’s refers to Aquarius, while Lenormand’s refers to your entire community. Overall, Lenormand’s is more positive.
TOWER vs. THE TOWER
These two are not even slightly related. Lenormand’s is closer to The Hermit (isolation), Justice (courthouse), The Emperor and The Hierophant (authority figures) than to tarot’s The Tower, which is all about shock or sometimes, disaster. In Lenormand, the tower should be illustrated as tall and strong. In tarot, it should be portrayed as falling apart.
SUN vs. THE SUN
They are twins, yes, but fraternal, not identical. Lenormand’s is about adult happiness – getting a promotion or winning the lottery. Tarot’s is your inner child’s happiness – falling in love at first sight or eating food that brings up your most joyful memories. They are both the best in their respective decks, but tarot’s is on a higher level.
To get the best out of Lenormand, put your tarot knowledge aside, making sure your interpretations are not filled with lies. But when reading tarot and Lenormand together, and you get any of the above twins, feel free to blend their meanings so as to acknowledge the synchronicities.

The Witching Tree
Everyone knows about the Witching Tree. Everyone knows that it is different. It is tall, and gnarled, and has long spindly branches that reach up to the sky like the rigor mortis legs of a crushed spider. Nobody recalls ever seeing leaves on those branches, but the Witching Tree doesn’t feel dead.
It doesn’t look like any of the other trees around it, on the hill at the park. It’s not an oak, nor a pine, and certainly not one of those big redwoods that you’ve seen in the foothills. The Witching Tree is the Witching Tree.
You know you’re supposed to capitalize it when you write it out, just like God.
You have a feeling that it would know if you didn’t.
As long as there have been children, as long as there have been knives, there have been those who took it upon themselves to leave their mark on the natural world, carving their sign into the bark of a living thing to prove that they were there, that they were real. All of the rest of the trees in the park have at least a couple such scars from the vanity of children, a prepubescent drive for immortality. The Witching Tree has only one.
Nobody said you couldn’t carve your initials into the Witching Tree. There wasn’t a list of rules that you had to follow. Children just know these things. Most of them, anyway.
Tommy Colgate didn’t care about doing what he was supposed to. He’d say curse words in front of teachers, he’d pull girls’ pigtails, and he’d throw rocks at pigeons. He also had been given a shiny new whittling knife for his birthday.
All the other children watched when Tommy climbed up the hill, the sunlight glinting off his knife as he unfolded it. They all watched as he plunged it into the bark, carving out a jagged, clumsy “T.C.”
He seemed so smug when he came back down the hill, smiling like he’d just won the lottery. He was the first kid to carve his name on the Witching Tree. He would also be the last.
The other children weren’t surprised when Tommy didn’t come to school the next day. They weren’t surprised when they saw his obituary in the local newspaper, the one which conspicuously left out the cause of death. Those who went to the funeral weren’t surprised that it was a closed casket. Nobody carved their initials into the Witching Tree and got away with it.
Sometimes you can still hear some of the older kids whisper tales about Tommy Colgate, about the countless slashes that covered all over his body, arranged in odd patterns like some sort of alien language, and the rust-brown stains they found on the Witching Tree’s branches. They’ll laugh it off of course, say it’s just a ghost story.
But to this day, there is still only one set of initials carved into the Witching Tree’s bark.

SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
Chapter 00 / Broadway Baby
Love Astor was born in 1951 and raised in New York, New York. The daughter of Robert 'Robbie' Astor, the business mogul, and June Koch, the film star. As a child, Love made a name for herself on Broadway, but as a teenager, she delved into the world of rock 'n' roll.
LILIAN WILLIAMS (former acting coach, the Williams School of Musical Theatre): Oh, yeah, I remember Love Astor.
We met for the first time in ‘55, probably. ‘56 at the latest. Into the school came her mother, June (Koch), dressed to the nines. Think Jackie Kennedy. There’s no way that woman wasn’t going for the First Lady look. Honestly, you might have mistaken her for a politician’s wife rather than an actress. At her side was this beautiful little girl. “This is my daughter, Love,” June said, nodding to her look alike. Love, like her mother, had this long, thick black hair that fell all the way down her back. Her eyes were this stunning sea green color. To this day, they still remind me of the beach. And her cheekbones were sharp, so sharp the rich pay to have theirs come even remotely close.
“What can I do for you, June?” I asked, expecting her to request more lessons for herself, but no. Imagine my surprise when she said, “Love here has the potential to be a great singer, but she needs to be trained. You could help refine her voice, could help turn her potential into skill.”
It came as a surprise, because Love was so young at that point, no older than four. Most children start theatre training between six and eight, but June wanted her children to be like her and Robbie: extraordinary. Usually, I’d refuse to train a child that young, but then June had Love sing one of Judy Garland’s songs. “Over the Rainbow,” if memory serves, and her delivery was smooth, polished. I thought, This kid is going to be somebody when she’s older, and I . . . I want to play a part in making her somebody.
So we started training, and by the mid ‘60s, she was getting casted on Broadway. Playing a part in Camelot, Fiddler on the Roof, Dames at Sea, and Cabaret. A few of the parts were written for older women, but the ‘60s were a different time. No one batted an eye at a teenage girl being cast as a woman. And Love, she put everything she had into each and every part, earning her the love and attention of many. Hell, not even critics had anything bad to say about her . . . until her brother died.
─── ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ───
On December 1, 1969, the U.S. Selective Service System conducted a lottery to determine the draft order for 1970. Stephen Astro, born March 14, 1949, was assigned lottery number 12.
LOVE ASTOR (singer, Daisy Jones & The Six): For the first eighteen years of my life, I lived at the whims of my mother. “Sing, Love. Eat better. Try harder at school,” she commanded, and I would without hesitation or reserve, because I had been made into a sponge, made to take in whatever orders she wanted. Then, my brother, my dearest friend in the whole world, got drafted, and it changed things. Stephen promised that he would return from Vietnam, that he’d be back before we even realized he was gone, but that was a lie. For eight months, there was radio silence, then word came that he died in Laos.
There was no body, so we buried an empty casket. And that . . . that broke me. I couldn’t bear the thought of him forever being lost, so I looked for something to quiet my mind, to numb the pain. That led me not only to the rock scene but to everything that came with it — drugs, alcohol, sex, and everything in between.
DALE WRIGHT (former bouncer, The Blue Room): I worked at The Blue Room from 1969 to 1974. It was a real sketchy club, bringing in folks from the seediest pockets of the boroughs, but goddamn was there good music. It (the music) drew in tons of better-off folks whose names I don’t remember, but I remember Love Astor. The first time I saw her, I was kicking out a junkie and in walks this bright-eyed, super skinny girl. She had the longest hair I’ve ever seen, and it was tied into some odd braid about her head. Her smile too . . . her smile was something else. It made you feel like you were the only person in the world. She was with some guy who was probably three times her age. He looked at her like she’d hung the moon, but she shed him by the end of the night and left on the arm of a roadie.
After that first time, she started coming in more and more. Four or five times a week, and each time, she’s make it a habit to talk to me and the rest of the club staff, to get to know us. Love was a real people person, you see. She was always happy, and wanted those around her to be happy, too. There was an innocence to her, a naïveté, which was why I made sure to keep an eye out for her. God knows no one else there was.

Australian Powerball Lottery Facts
Australian Powerball is a popular game in the Land Down Under. Many people frequent it because of the high cash prize that is usually at stake with every draw. Moreover, it is easy to play and there are no complicated rules to follow. Anyone who wants to participate in this game will only have to bet.
If you are unfamiliar with this, here are some facts about it and some simple rules you need to follow before you can start your betting:
Quick facts
This game is played in almost all parts of Australia. In the western part of the country, it is operated by the Lotterywest, while the Golden Casket is responsible for games in Queensland. In the Kingdom of Wales, the New South Wales Lotteries manage the games, and in the south of the country, the South Australia Lotteries Commission takes care of it. All of this allows you to play 파워볼사이트 anywhere in Australia.
The minimum cash prize you can take home is around AU$33 million. This is the initial payout for each draw and increases in subsequent draws if no one wins it on the first play. However, if someone has won for a particular game, the prize money will revert to that original amount in the next draw.
Rules of the game
So how do you play Australian Powerball? Again, these steps are simple and they are not complicated to understand, so read on.
First step: In a series of numbers from 1 to 45, you must choose five regular numbers.
Second step: In another set of 45 numbers, you must choose only one number. This will serve as your Powerball.
Third step: pay your bet. Remember that bets may increase over time, but it will always be at the lowest rate anyone can afford.
Winning this game is easy, and there are two ways to win it. The first is to match three of your regular numbers with the numbers that came up in the draw. The second is to match two of your regular numbers plus your Powerball with the numbers that came up in the final draw.
You can only win a game if you can present your ticket with the winning numbers. Remember that your ticket must be in perfect condition when you claim your prize. Crumpled tickets, as well as those that have been exposed to heat, will not be honored. Be careful not to damage your ticket.
The Lotto Powerball Question: Can You Really Win Powerball?
In life, there are no simple answers to even the most basic questions. Even if we try to pretend that it is possible to answer questions with a simple answer, we discover in the long run that there is nothing easy. So what is the answer to the question can you really win the Powerball?
The truthful answer to this question is that it really depends. Oh, I know how the lotto gurus sell you on the fact that it can only be won if you buy their system. But, that is simply not true. A lotto system alone cannot win you the jackpot. No, unfortunately it will take a combination of three things to crack this multi-million dollar nut.
Now don't get me wrong, a lotto system plays an important role in your winning success. However, on its own, it cannot guarantee a victory. To win, you need three specific techniques.
Luckily, in this article, we'll cover all three to increase your chances of winning by 100.
To win at the game, you need:
Number 1: A desire to focus only on Powerball and Powerball only. Too many people play two or three games of lotto in addition to playing Powerball. This strategy is a lesson in futility, focus and concentration is the key to winning the Powerball. By diversifying your seed capital into two or three different games, you never get to win the game you want to win in the first place. So focus all your money and effort on one game.
Number 2: You must play more than one set of numbers if you want to win this lotto game in your lifetime. My stepfather played the same numbers faithfully for over 20 years and still didn't come close to winning a hundred thousand let alone millions of dollars.
It's so frustrating to watch someone you love constantly play a losing strategy hoping to win only to fail every time the numbers are drawn. The worst part about this story is that he's so adamant and stubborn that he won't even consider changing his numbers. Don't let this tragedy be you!
Number 3: If you're going to earn a sum big of money in 파워볼, you need to invest in a system. Too many people play this game blindly with no chance of winning anything.
Now please pay attention because this is important: the power ball game can be won, it's been proven. In fact, I have a guy on my website who guarantees you'll win 9 out of 10 games you play by following his system.

15 Questions 15 Mutuals
I was tagged by @argyleheir
1. Are you named after anyone? Sorta maybe? I have two much older cousins, one of each side of the family, with the same name. The one on my mom’s side is also my godmother. I’m pretty sure my middle name is from someone too, from my dad’s side I think. The only one I know is my godmother.
2. When was the last time you cried? I think it was while reading danmei, specifically The Arrogant Young Master Became Obedient After Being Bullied. But also my hormones are all over the place and a cute video or picture book can set me off too.
3. Do you have kids? NOPE. I have three nephews and that's more than enough for me.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Pffff, yes.
5. What sports do you play/have played? Only whatever I had to grudgingly participate in during P.E.
6. What's the first thing you notice about people? Their clothes, hair style, expression, demeanor, and posture--in varying order.
7. What's your eye color? Grey-blue, and small yellow flecks around my pupils (what are you, where did you come from, did I always have those).
8. Scary movies or happy endings? I don’t think those are mutually exclusive, but I guess usually happy endings. Some podcasts, like Women in Caskets and Switchblade Sisters, have convinced me to try out more horror tho.
9. Any special talents? Well, I used to think it was writing, but I’ve done it so rarely for the past several years that whatever skill I had has atrophied...so I guess what I’m saying is no.
10. Where were you born? Texas, but I only spent three years there and did most of my growing up in Missouri.
11. What are your hobbies? Reading (mostly danmei and manga), listening to podcasts, knitting scarves when I make the time for it, thinking about writing (mostly fanfic but sometimes original stuff)
12. Do you have pets? Phoebe: a menace of a cat with questionable grooming skills whose favorite method of communication and play is sinking her claws and teeth into me
13. How tall are you? 5'4 (and 3/4 but saying that makes me feel like a kid bragging about being 5 and a 1/2 and rounding it up to 5′5 feels like a lie)
14. Favorite subject in school? English, gimme those humanities pls & thx
15. Dream job? Lottery winner? If I didn’t have to work, I wouldn’t. I’ll settle for a cataloging librarian position that pays me enough to comfortably support me and several cats and occasionally travel, but also doesn’t require me be a manager or supervisor, and I rarely have to perform customer service.
I tag...uh....I don’t think I have fifteen mutuals lol. Whoever wants to answer some questions, consider yourself tagged!

I actually don't give a shit what happens to the body but I would like a muppet made to match how I look up on death. At my funeral I will assign someone to speak as the muppet, whole will read my prerecorded eulogy, and for the rest of the funeral the muppet will lay in a human sized casket. A lottery will occur to decide who gets to keep the muppet.
