The Thought that Got Away

I feel there’s something missing,

something I have to do,

an item of great importance

and I’ve clearly missed my cue

Within the unknown regions

of my enormous brain,

there resides a shadow-thought

that’s causing psychic pain

Beyond my clear perception,

hovering out of view,

while I’ve been wrenching every thought

and turning every screw

But there’s no way to find it,

a truth that's crisp and plain,

and so I must abandon it

before I go insane

But sometimes in the darkness,

while the moon burns blue,

I still can hear it mocking me

all the long night through…

Alright I know most people know me here because of my TD posting,, which, real as fuck, I think,

BUTTTT if anybody here is following me from my previous blog, you might remember the pinned post that @ask-multiple-pokemon-comics-blog has about me moving here. AND,, if you knew that account, you might remember some of my characters like Pond or Doomsday

Speaking of those two, the story behind them has a little animated project now that I co-direct with my best friend, @pestypossum !!! Which now has a tumblr,,,

I just wanted to put that out there, because I might be reblogging stuff from @pmdsurrealreality now,, and I don't want to confuse people. I'll definitely still be TD posting,, that's my hyperfixation and has been for a WHILE,, but I wanna support this project too!!!

So the suburban hellscape I saw on oggy and the cockroaches cartoon channel where everywhere is just a copypasted picture of the same house for miles except for the main character's home which just has it's roof colored purple to stand out from the crowd is fucking real?

That exists in real life and people just live in that subarban copypasted hellscape and call it *beautiful*?

Not so Bad

The problem with identifying your values

and recognizing what is truly important is

that once you realize with cold precision

how far removed you are from the life you

want, it demands that you either abandon

your current trajectory or else accept the

empty meaninglessness of your existence

and continue to march on in abject denial

of what you know will make you happy,

so if you choose to dwell in ignorant bliss,

stop beating yourself up and recognize that

suffering only happens when you’re awake.
