I was scrolling around this morning, and the amount of AI shit that clogs this social and others like Instagram etc it's insane and enraging.

You're not an artist if you put STOLEN ART into a random AI images generator. It's illegal to sell AI images, in any forms. We don't care about prompts, about procreate and about all the other excuses that you give, no, that's not art.

The other day I literally had an argument with a person that was selling dust jackets MADE WITH AI, STOLEN FROM ANOTHER ETSY SHOP. ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE??

I'm just so sick of seeing these abominations all around the internet, especially when a so evident "piece" made with AI gets so much recognition while so many other good and REAL artists struggle to get their work appreciated.

Please open your fucking eyes and start to report this shit. Ignore it.

Real art is totally something else and different.

DeviantArt made a contest where best adopts would win and the fact most winners are AI makes me feel good that most artists lost, there wasn't a competition to begin with, artists shouldn't be downgraded in value like that.

Just letting you know that the picture of a house you reblogged a few posts down is most likely AI. So sorry if I'm bothering you by sending an ask about this, I just know I'd want to be told if I reblogged something with AI (which I have! it's getting so hard to tell these days)

Oooh! Thank you for the heads up! You're correct; I would want for people let me know if I have accidentally reblogged or promoted AI art/artists/bloggers. It's getting harder to distinguish legit from fake these days, but I continue to be against AI "art", so I hope to develop a more discerning eye.

Procreate, the art program (in which I use) made a based tweet and video talking about how they will NOT use generative AI in their programs. This makes me so happy, I hate AI and there is no such thing as "ai artist" or "ai art" its not even art, its stolen art from us artists.

Learning to internalize the message above, but art is in all of our bones. If you feel afraid to create art because it won't be "good enough," it's worth it to explore why you feel that fear. Creating art is one of the basic impulses of people, and if you want to create art, then you absolutely must.
