i’m so tired of my family
#support group for eldest siblings with a mother and younger sibling who are both very headstrong argumentative and sensitive#and are constantly screaming at each other because they both refuse to believe they’re in the wrong#and a dad who can switch between staying out of drama to being so angry i sometimes think he’s about to break something#and so they’re all going at each others throats and you’re the only one left to try and mediate and get everyone to calm down#and when you try to even imply that your mum maybe overreacted slightly. you get yelled at about how much she’s doing#and you’re trying to explain that you’re not trying to imply she’s a bad person. you’re just saying that everyone played a role in this mess#and then when you go to try and talk to your sister alone in her room you’re accused of ‘taking sides’ and ‘doing your parents job for them’#and you have to explain that no you’re not taking sides. you’re going to talk to your sister because 1. she ALSO played a part#2. your parents have each other but she has no one else. so yes i do have to go there and be with her.#3. she’s a teenager and you’re both full grown adults. so yeah i kinda did expect a little more maturity from you.#and then when you cry because of all the yelling you get told that you’re being too sensitive and to leave it be#but you can’t leave it be because if you don’t try to make things right#the tension will keep on building and then no apologies or making amends will ever happen.#and all in all you’re so tired of being the peacemaker and having to put everyone else before your own feelings#and you’re genuinely terrified to potentially move out next year bc you genuinely feel that your family’s relationships will fall apart#because you won’t be there to work everything out#anyway. who said that.

Lamb Questions!! 🤍 Part 1 of ???
yippee :33
1. Does your lamb go by any name other than The Lamb? If so, what?
Tumblr media
My lamb goes by Ramiel, & my goat goes by Azazel, though they’re only referred to by name by people who are closer to them (disciples & the bishops, mainly). They’re both named after demons from the show, Supernatural.
They also have quite a few nicknames, such as Lambi, Lambchop, sheep-thing, Goatse, Lamb-bam, Baa Baa, & various other curse words. :3
2. How old was your lamb when they were sacrificed?
Tumblr media
They were both in their mid to late 20s.
3. How long was your lamb held captive by heretics before their sacrifice?
Not very long, just long enough to shave down their horns, tag them, & drag them to the chopping block. Azazel, however, took a bit longer because they were particularly difficult to deal with.
4. Did your lamb kill anyone prior to their first death? If so, who?
Ramiel didn’t take any lives until after they were first revived, as they didn’t really have a need to (nor did they really have the guts to) up until that point. Azazel, on the other hand, had taken plenty of lives prior to their first death, out of necessity. They lived their whole life on the run, so they had to kill to be able to survive.
5. When your lamb mourns a dead loved one from their past… who is it? / 6. Who raised your lamb?
Tumblr media
Ramiel grew up in a relatively big family, being the eldest of 3 siblings. They were closest with their mother, spending most of their time in the garden with her & helping take care of the younger ones.
Azazel, as previously mentioned, lived their life on the run. In the beginning, they were running with their father, until he was eventually captured while they were very young (certainly too young to be on their own, think like 11-13 years old). They were forced to carry on, not allowed enough time to properly mourn or process the death of their father.
7. Where was your lamb raised?
Ramiel grew up in a secluded village of sheepfolk. The community was very close knit & they would all pitch in to support each family & young one. Ya know, it takes a village to raise a child lamb?
Azazel never really had a place to call home. They’d set up camp in large trees, caves, etc. but they would never stay for long.
8. Did your lamb have any specific skills pre-death?
Ramiel loved to garden, forage, & anything artsy &/or crafty. Though ironically, they’re not great at cooking.
When Azazel had (very limited) time to relax, they enjoyed foraging & hunting for food. They got really good at cooking food with limited resources, & would experiment with ingredients when they could. Otherwise, their skills were mostly related to survival & combat, out of necessity.
9. How or where was your lamb caught?
Ramiel was on the run for a very short period of time, but was not accustomed to surviving alone in the forest. Eventually, their leg was injured & were captured very shortly after.
Azazel was ambushed by a group of heretics while they were asleep.
10. How did your lamb feel with their head on the pedestal?
Tumblr media
By the time Ramiel was caught, they were too exhausted to care. Frankly, a part of them was hopeful to see their family again…
Azazel, by contrast, was fucking LIVID. They did not go down without a fight.
The lamb had a relatively easy death, but the goat? Not at all. I’ll go into more detail eventually as this idea just popped into my head as I was typing this all out, but needless to say, it was not quick or painless whatsoever. :))

IINTERDIMENSIONAL LORE POST #1 CHARACTER IMTROS: #1
Ever since college started last month, I could barely post anything. So instead, I'm doing a summary of the characters I was planning to post about throughout October. I was going to make brief lore posts about each of the characters during the birthdays I assigned for each character. But since I couldn't, here're s a 1-2 line summaries for each one! Enjoy!💙
Oh yeah! Some spoilers ahead-
~~~
October 2nd: Arwyn Iluthmil
Polite, quiet, abd naive and dreamer of an elven prince who who acted as a diplomat for his queen sister, who then gets entangled in legendary (and more) shenanigans far beyond even his imagination, and ends up having to be the peacemaker of the most delightfully dysfunctional and chaotic team in the entire Interdimensional series (yes I'm talking about Team Space).
October 5th: Melitia Solis:
A sweet and friendly but resilient craftswoman in training, later moves on from her unrequited love for the cute waiter boy from the café across the street, and becomes a respected and powerful enchantress, also becoming one of the main supporters of the Legendary Carriers throughout their missions.
October 6th: Nahia Bernalmi / Bluebell:
Non-magical firstborn princess of a magical kingdom in the sky, gives up her right to the crown after her younger susters are born and becomes a scholarly temple maiden, encouraging edication and literacy across the kingdom.
October 8th: Wendolana Witxen:
Adventurous and hotheaded, yet loyal and funny shapeshifter woman, raised as a Lightning Warrior, and now watching over the Legendary Spirit Hui, while also being an epically fun and chaotic older sister figure for the rest of Team Space.
October 9th: Taika Marisol:
The friendly neighborhood magic shop owner, who actively practices witchcraft and is known for her cheerful attitude.
October 10th: Ludus:
The playful messenger of an echanted city state thriving in the middle of a desert somehow, and the character with weirdest and most random lines and pranks.
October 11th: Alondra Busker:
A young musician and sound mage, still grieving her mother's loss, having to take her mother's former title amongst the ranks of BSA and act as a guide and protector to the young Legendaries. She's also one of the eight POV characters in book 1. Also, she's the leader of the band "Radiance" which falls apart due to interdimensional shenanigans but gets back togather in time.
October 13th: Sarannah Hudson:
The chaotic and moody younger sister of The Lawful Good of the Legendaries (Kent), who actually just wants equality between Trickers (people with magic but no powers like herself and her mother) and Ekermins (people with both magic and powers, like her father and brothers), but doesn't know how to go about it, yet.
October 15th: Selene Roussit:
Cheerful, adventurous, and charismatic mountain princess, prankster eldest child, and the leader to one of the Legendaries' most important group of allies.
October 17th: Ninlil Bernalmi / Bluebell:
Youngest sister of Nahia and Aella, and the most carefree, talkative, and humorous one.
October 17th: Koios:
Brilliant minded but also troublesome, little Elulai boy (Elulai are an original spieces), who followed Tom (one of the very main characters) around and persisted until Tom accepted him as his first ever apprentice for his craft (and inventing) shop, also hyping him and the other members of the shop as well as the people for whatever's to come.
October 18th: Maritza Renshaw:
Brave, fun-loving, and friendly noble lady of the biggest trade city & island in Yugenri, who accompanies and helps the Legendaries through the Solium War, then gets married to a kingdom with problematic traditions (which I can't go into detail just yet) which she starts a silent rebellion against.
October 20th: Florea Leratis:
The black sheep of the noble Leratis family, also the reason why some of her siblings ended up with a traumatizing amount of pressure throughout their childhood. While all ten of her other siblings are members (and some even chosen heroes) of BSA, Florea willingly joins Dark Crystal (the enemies of BSA) and currently acts as a healer and spellcaster for them.
October 21st: Naima Hakeem:
Wise and comforting elder sister of a Legendary Carrier (Nour) and one of the best friends of another main character (Alondra), as well asa master of light and illusion magic. (I also just realized there are three birthdays from that same friend group in October with Alondra, Naima, and Selene-)
.
October 22nd: Eliarys Greggoff:
Lady Wind Knight who ends up accompanying Miracate (Rosena's younger sister) in an epic quest, while she (Eliarys) herself is aiming to help rebuild her destroyed hometown and find her misding brother.
October 23rd: Elinor Hudson:
The only character who can balance having the full time job of an interdimensional guardian, and raising three kids and at the same time, while being fairly well at both (even if her daughter is a bit of a problem child and her oldest son gets into life-threatening quests in other worlds regularly from teen years onward). Despite her troubled past, she's also a really fun person and a bit of a prankster, famous for inventing a charmed hot chocolate that makes whoever drinking it breathe bubbles.
October 24th: Cassia Dacre:
An intelligent and perfectionistic small town noble girl from the kingdom in the sky again (Eliri, for reference. This is the fourth character from Eliri-), who's later involved in tracking and and unmasking of spies of Lorkness inside the Legendary Alliance, however falling in love with one of them herself.
October 25th: Cecimeric Wiannlieth:
A new character I'm developing. Is the king of the elves of Mirunia (the only kingdom in Meras who're openly allied with BSA and the humans in Yugenri) and the first target of Eihlor when he's released for this reason, along with the rest of Mirunia.
October 26th: Jake Springlet:
The moody, stubborn, and sarcastic prince of Yugenri's agricultural center region ((a kingdom but not reaaly), with the power of thorn manipulation, a noticeable hatred for the humans of Tiria (regular Earth), funny one-liners, and a temper even shorter than him somehow. :D (And he's the last nobleman for October! Thank goodness! Eiwen doesn't count-)
October 27th: Libet Lamarre:
A teenage shapeshifter girl who who was trained to be a "villain", swore to evenge her childhood best friend who was killed when the Legend was first revived, joined the Solium War on the "villains'" side, fell prisoner, and joined Team Space to reclaim her freedom, and became one of the most delightfully chaotic members of the most delightfully chaitic team in all of Interdimensional. Yeah. She's something.
October 28th: Eiwen Iluthmil-Niarien:
The weird aunt of Maerwynn, Arwyn, and Aelwen; who's married a member of a wealthy member of the Merchant Council in one of the trade cities in Meras, and lives a distant life. However, no one also knows the fact that she's started to hear voices...of the spirits.
October 29th: Kelley Trace:
Ey! It's Kelley! My first ever character in the Interdimensional series! She's a double agent, a healer, a die-hard survivor, used-to-be assassin; blunt, sarcastic, humorous, can be mischievious, but also has a caring and empathetic heart. There's far too much to tell about Kelley, but she's a blast for me to write regardless!
October 31st: Helevisse Arinimavel:
Of all my characters, she could be the best definition of a "don't judge a book by its cover". At first glance, she's a cute little wood elf girl with pigtailed pink hair, floral patterned dresses, and a magic staff with a cute flower shaped gem. Upon further inspection, you notice she's a master of poison, banned types of magic, and is the type to enjoy some popcorn while watching the world burn; is also among a class of 20 "villains" in training, being one of the two that even the higher-ups noticed the chaotic nature of. She heard of Halloween from her Tirian classmate Ellenie and loves the fact that her birthday is on a holiday where people scare eachother.
~~~
So, if you read them all, thank you! I hope you enjoyed this all! Let me know if any of the characters sound particularly interesting or if you'd like to hear more about any of them! And yes. I have A LOT of characters and only one of them in this post will be a POV character in book 1, two others in following books. But yeah. They all have a role. :)
Tagging: @dearunreliablenarrator @seastarblue @daishitheprofessionalfool @avalordream @heycerulean @author-a-holmes @writeblrfantasy @the-ellia-west @azz-writes @the-letterbox-archives @thecomfywriter @leahnardo-da-veggie @imsoveryveryconfusedatlife @illarian-rambling @paeliae-occasionally @charbroiledchicken @ and everyone else! I hope you all enjoyed this!

Okay i showed off my autistic fantasy novel I'll never write now show me yours. I wanna know about proto-spamton (if you want to, of course xP)
snrk aww I hope you didn't feel like you had to, but it's fun to have an excuse!
(I'd spit up the whole doc I've got but last time that didn't end well and it's a little messy so I'll try and tidy my thoughts a bit.)
I'd conceptualized it as a slice-of-life mundane fantasy story (because for some reason I gravitate to that little genre a lot) under the name '13 Dunwich Street.'
The main setting is an interdimensional world of cryptids that has recently made contact with human society, with both groups trying to integrate into each others' homelands, learn about one another, and cohabitate. Most of the story takes place in or around the seaside cryptid city of Kingsmouth, which the protagonist family of humans, the Parsons, has just moved into.
The family matriarch and often central character is Carrie, a recently-divorced mother and current sole caretaker of her four children. Since she suddenly found herself in such a precarious financial situation, she signed up for a government-sponsored offer to move into the other world and assist with integration and diplomacy, in exchange for accommodations and a house that allows her to make sure the kids are provided for. She took the position a bit impulsively and didn't really think through the implications of the decision until she found herself in a strange place surrounded by literal monsters, but she's incredibly stubborn and as long as she knows she can afford everything her kids need, she's powering through.
As a parent and a person, she is pretty flawed, and not just because of her stubborn streak. Carrie married young to a member of her church congregation, and in retrospect realizes she was way too young for the responsibility. When her marriage turned distant and she sought a divorce, pretty much the entire community shunned her and left her without any kind of social system or support to rely on. Though she tries her best to be present and attentive, she has to divide her attention between her job and four individual children. Things tend to slip through the cracks, and a lot of those things end up falling on her eldest daughter's shoulders to deal with. She's also very adamant with her children about the value of honesty and communication, but sometimes that results in her coming across as hurtful when she doesn't mean to be.
Across the narrative, Carrie learns a lot more about herself as a person, given she didn't have much time after being married and having kids when she did. At one point, after briefly dating a sentient park garden (there is no context, that is the context, she dates the garden. At one point she somehow uproots herself and moves in next to the Parson's house. Her name is Trinity and the biggest obstacle to their relationship isn't that she's a sentient park it's that she's really clingy) she starts questioning her sexuality and realizes she's attracted to women
Oldest daughter is 16-year-old Lucinda, who introduces and perceives herself as her mother's perpetual right-hand woman. It's kind of always been that way, but has gotten significantly worse up to the divorce and the few months after it. Lucy is often the first person both her mother and younger siblings will turn to when they need help. She's gotten quite good at it, naturally, but recently had the horrified realization that graduation is in a couple of years, and she's spent so much time taking care of others that she genuinely doesn't know what she herself is passionate about or wants to do outside of whatever is needed of her by someone else.
A lot of her plotlines have to do with self-discovery and independence. Her new eldritch classmates tend to follow her around with intrigue, since most of them haven't encountered humans before and aren't really sure what they're really like. Part of her appreciates being appreciated, even if it's over mundane and stupid things.
A recurring gag is Lulu being passably decent at a bunch of random eclectic skills, because one of her siblings had a phase for it or someone needed help once and she never really had an opportunity to use that skill again until some bizarre scenario presents itself
Next in the family line are 13-year-old twins Angelou and Faith. Angelou is the older by twenty minutes, and he *will* tell you that, whether you asked or not. Compared to the rest of his family, he's absolute thrilled with the move. Completely delighted at the new school, even with all the new stuff he needs to get used to, what with the monsters and all. He's just over the moon that nobody here knows him as anything other than Angelou. It's not like any of these guys know much about humans in general, let alone what gender is.
Thing is...he's really bad at academics. So far he's mostly scraped by because his parents haven't really paid attention to his report cards. He was always closer to his father than to his mother, and he's not quite sure he feels comfortable going to her for help. Most of his problems are incredibly mundane ones, and frankly he's a little embarrassed about it. He's still trying to understand his own concept of what masculinity is. He dreams of being a professional kickboxer one day. Enjoys battle shounen a little too much.
Faith is the second-born twin, and, in her opinion, second-place, as well. Significantly more of a wallflower, with a tendency to hide in her brother's shadow. The two were inseparable as little kids, but have grown apart somewhat, leaving her on her own. She's not coping well. The idea got into her head that since they're twins, she needs to match Angelou's skill in *everything,* which pretty much always goes poorly. She's leaning very hard into the teenage self-discovery thing right now in an attempt to find an identity outside of 'Angelou's sister' and switches her style completely about every month now. She's going through a bit of a goth phase at the moment, but is too afraid of blood and knives and such that she's sorta halfhearted about the whole thing.
She ends up in a weird scenario with the family's across-the-street neighbor Notts, a gremlin-like critter who lives with his roommate Remmel. The two are constantly partaking in Spy vs Spy-tier warfare against one another, constantly leaving convoluted traps around the house trying to kill each other (which even the other cryptids view as weird and wonder why they live together) Though both of them dislike humans and are initially vocal about not wanting humans in their neighborhood, Notts mistakenly gets it into his head that Faith wishes to kill Angelou, and gleefully takes her under his wing as an aspiring murder-protégé. He gets corrected but still ends up with a soft spot for what he calls 'the putrid little human wretchling' and dispenses his own brand of batshit life advice to her, even when she hasn't necessarily asked.
Last in line is nine-year-old Winslow, or 'Winnie' as everyone calls him. He's weird, and happily leans into that. He collects random items, with a particular preference for sticky tape, rubber ducks, and buttons, which he uses for 'fortune telling' by throwing them into a homemade circle and counting how many land right side up. Though his siblings love him, they're often not interested in his 'strange' and 'childish' hobbies, so he usually spends most of his time with the family's cat, Barnaby, and going on adventures with her. Winnie lacks a lot of the insecurities that his siblings have, because he's really quite content with his oddities and sees no reason to change them.
He quickly makes friends with the next-door neighbor, a barometz/lamb of Tartary girl named Kathikan. With the recent integration of their two societies, Kathikan and her family gained access to human broadcasts and TV programs. Until the Parsons moved in, it was their only viewpoint on human society, and because of that, it's incredibly skewed and saccharine, especially with her father's recent fixation on daytime soap operas. Kathi has just enough sense of consider that maybe it isn't entirely accurate, and is very eager to find out what humans are really like. She often joins Winnie and Barnaby getting into shenanigans around town.
For fun I kinda just keep tossing in random monsters and putting them in situations. Fresno Nightcrawlers are like the equivalent of squirrels and run around being chirpy little nuisances. The richest woman in town is a giant tarantula and consults every decision she makes with her manservant, who is apparently just a completely normal non-sentient frog. Carrie's boss is his own office and the walls make weird squishy flesh noises. The moon is alive and it insults people. The town may or may not be built on the back of a slumbering eldritch deity lol who knowssss
Proto-bootleg Spamton is a weirdo by the name of Rodman Ferman. He's more humanoid than most of the town locals but he's covered in seams all over like a marionette and instead of walking appears to move around on puppet strings that vanish into the sky with no clear holder. It's not even a very good puppeteer because all of his movements are jerky like he has no idea how limbs work and his head has a tendency to spin around, especially when he gets annoyed. He's initially introduced as a suave car salesman, but he makes it obvious he has no idea what that actually is and is just parroting buzzwords from television ads. He repeatedly shows up as a wannabe-salesman ineffectively shilling various things. Much like with the gremlins, even the cryptids think he's a weird little freak of a man and want nothing to do with him. Don't talk to Rodman Ferman, Carrie. Nobody talks to Rodman Ferman.

DOSSIER: VLAD.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vlad, the daytime guard of Northland Bank, a member of the Fatui, skilled in both deception and combat. Born in Snezhnaya to a father of the same descent and a mother from Fontaine, he is the eldest child of four and took on responsibility young (16) for looking after his family, when his father passed in a fishing accident. He needed to help his mother support the three younger siblings financially and so stepped up to help in any way he could, odd jobs here and there and some petty theft before discovering his talents for certain crimes.
BEFORE. (the liyue archon quest.)
It was not within the ranks of the Fatui that Vlad’s skill begins, but before. In the lands of Snezhnaya and Fontaine a teen turned young man wandered, attractive but forgettable, pleasant but nondescript, the type of man for the moment but not one to linger. He was a conman, a silver tongue who weaved pleasant words where he could, charming people out of their mora for lucrative deals that did not exist, challenging them to bets they could not hope to win, doing what he could to beguile then walk away with that he sought to support his family. It started first with a crew then he branched out on a solo gig, never spending too long in one town and coming to know how to change his appearance just enough to never be too recognisable. He had no regrets until the day he attempted to swindle someone who was more than a match for him, a Harbinger, and who offered him a choice in return for his ensnarement. Death or The Fatui. Pay for his crimes or wield his skills for a different purpose. Well there was no choice, at least within the ranks of such a formidable organisation there was hopes for security for the family he cared for, at least with a steady paycheck. So a life was departed, and a new one begun.
DURING. (the liyue archon quest.)
Vlad (32), since joining the Fatui, had shown himself to be adept with not only his words but his blade, claymore showing prowess on the battlefield and though no vision graced him, he was skilled enough to make a good, reliable soldier. He had undertaken a range of missions both within Snezhnaya and overseas, short and offering opportunity to return to his family in between. He had been skilled enough to volunteer for the Liyue mission, his application accepted and he was sent with the advance party to take on the role of a guard at Northland Bank while getting a feel for the ground and locals. He spent a long time acclimatising and seeking information, passing it on with the arrival of the Eleventh Harbinger. Throughout the mission he worked diligently, slowly becoming homesick as the weeks passed, the mission becoming his longest from home to date. Letters helped and so did the work, but when Osial was defeated and no call home issued, something began to waver within him.
AFTER. (the liyue archon quest.)
Vlad lingers in Liyue but he is a struggling man. The homesickness is rife, his letters home not enough to sate him and with no end in sight he turns to thrill seeking to cope. Gambling becomes a regular habit, mora and favours traded too loosely, and though he sometimes wins, he often loses. He starts taking odd jobs, at first nondescript (akin to daily commissions) but soon considers work with the Treasure Hoarders, Yelan’s group, the shadier merchants of Liyue, all simply for the right price. He’s a man who is slipping, creating debts that he then has to work to pay off, taking long walks at night to quell the rising insomnia and clinging to every mission offered at Dragonspine for a chance to feel the ice and chill and feel at home for a little while. He’s falling, he’s losing and he can’t seem to keep himself on track. But with no sign of returning home in the future he’s lost.
Tumblr media
NOTES:
Vlad is a very skilled liar that only really starts showing tells when he has got himself to a point of overwhelmed with the web he has spun. It is hard to catch him out on the fly.
He’s not very easily social when he’s not aiming to get something from someone. He’s quite isolated, keeps to himself. He’s the type who has a few close friends really.
He’s a frequent gambler at Yanshang Teahouse. Yelan’s people are aware of his visits.
Takes frequent missions to Dragonspine just to feel the ice and chill when he can at the bank. After one of these missions he returns to his former self for a time before the homesickness consumes him again.
Vlad is prone to bouts of insomnia and when he’s not seeking the thrill of gambling, he’ll wander the docks, watch the sea or take walks around Liyue Harbour until the exhaustion hits. He can often be found standing on the walkways staring out at nothing, present but far away.
Combatwise Vlad’s a solid hitter but there’s nothing special going on about him. He’s not got a vision, he’s not got a delusion, he’s just a guy swinging a claymore around.
I’m deliberately being vague on which Harbinger Vlad tried to swindle to eventually end up within the Fatui. Simply because I don’t want to lock any muse into that being definitely part of the dynamic but also if I do explore that in a thread I will edit to reflect a specific portrayal of a Harbinger / specific portrayals of Harbingers.

Meet :: Alex "LEXXA" Serine Browne
~ Biography ~
Alex 'LEXXA' Serine Browne. Born in Sunset Valley on June 10, 1972.  She is the eldest daughter and second born to David and Kaline Browne. Her family tree includes grandparents Michael and June Browne on her mother's side and Jason and Joyce Thompson on her father's side. She is the second of 10 children. Her siblings are, (1) True ‘T.K.’ Kole (2) Alex ‘Lexxa’ Serine (3) Valerie Reneé, (4) Javon Kingston (5) Jennie Mae, (6) Raymond Jaimes (7) Kayleigh ‘K.J.’ June (8) Jhené Aalea (9) Krissy Tia (10) Amierra Lei. Despite their modest beginnings, her grandparents and father worked tirelessly to support their large family, managing to provide a comfortable lifestyle. Alex's mom was a stay-at-home mother who did work from home 3 days a week. Though Alex's father was often absent due to work, he made an effort to spend weekends with the kids. Her mother received help from their grandparents and older siblings, creating a supportive environment. Alex was especially close to her older brother, True, but they drifted apart in adulthood. True pursued his dream of becoming a firefighter and distanced himself from the family after getting married and moving away, a decision that deeply affected Alex. When she turned 18, Alex decided to carve her own path, longing for fame as an actress and singer while dreaming of having a family of five. Despite facing discouraging news about her chances of having biological children, Alex remained determined. She considered adoption and planned to adopt all her future kids. Working at a grocery store during high school, she always envisioned a life beyond that. However, her family encouraged her to pursue a more "realistic" career, suggesting she become a doctor or police officer instead. But Alex was resolute, embodying the determination that ran in her family.
The year was 1989. Alex was 16 years old and her younger sister, Valerie, was 14 years old and they decided to brand themselves as a duo group and devised a plan - with no backup options— to become singers. It was all or nothing. They began making videos recording them singing covers of timeless classics and the videos were shot and edited by their uncle and eldest brother, True. He and his household moved back to Sunset Valley and he came back into the picture to help them with their dreams. Through their uncle, who had some music industry connections, he was able to send them out to various music execs and the videos circulated quite fast. Their uncle left his and the girls parents contact info on the card he sent with the video CDs and within a few months, they got a call back from a few music labels with a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly (at the labels expense) out to Starlight Shores and audition in person for the music execs. Alex’s parents didn’t think it would go this far but they decided to risk it, they both took off work, and flew with the girls to Starlight Shores. They stayed in a fancy hotel, with all expenses paid through the label and they auditioned all that week. They got to show the label execs their talent of singing and dancing and auditioned their very own single that they wrote together called, ARROW, along with a few covers of hit songs from their childhood. The execs were so impressed and they got signed within that week, went to the studio to perfect their vocals and the single was released within 3 months - a music video was included and they began working on their debut album.
The girls made their duo group name, ALERIE, because the ‘A’ was from Alex since she was the oldest and ‘LERIE’, was from vaLERIE’s name. The single ARROW blew up over radio waves and they released their second single, SAVING, 2 months later. That blew up even more that they released their third and final single (before their debut album), FEATHER. The label wanted to “strike while the iron was hot” and keep their momentum going and so their debut album was in full effect.
Alerie had a unique sound. It was a blend of neo soul, alternative R&B, and dark hip hop. At the time, this sound was quite unique and was heavily liked by the media. It was impressive to know that they were so young with such powerful voices. Alex is often described as having a more powerful, textured voice while Valerie's is considered lighter and sweeter, blending beautifully in their harmonies. Both showcase impressive vocal agility and range, particularly within the neo-soul style they are known for.
Within a year, since their debut single, Arrow was released, Alerie began traveling the world promoting their debut album, GARDEN. They also debuted 2 joint singles - GARDEN OF EDEN (INTRO) / FLOWERS IN THE WINDOW & ALL ROSES HAVE THORNS / WILDFLOWER (4 songs they mixed together) ,  for the 12 track album. The album was symbolic of growing up as a teeanger and detailed the struggles and lessons learned thus far. It was symbolic through the functions of how various flowers grow and die and how a garden is created. Where not everyone is the exact same but everyone has the potential to grow beautifully, despite their upbringing. The album did exceptionally well in the media and was a new sound and theme for music at the time. Alerie was heavy on harmonies, which became their staple. The girls' were praised for their melodic live performances, along with interviews, which made them popular almost overnight.
 Along with all the press releases and the promotions for the album, the girls decided to begin working on their second album which was released the following year, 1990, entitled, HOME RESIDES IN ME. They chose that title due to them trying to find comfort with their new lifestyle and trying to grow up all at the same time. They released a total of 4 singles for the album. 2 singles were released in the latter half of 1989 - TURNING THE PAGES OF YOUTH / GROWING PAINS & LEAVING THE NEST and the other 2 were released in the beginning of 1990 - ME, MYSELF, & I & YOUNG FOREVER - with the album to follow which had 25 tracks. This album kept the same theme as the last, but was a bit more detailed and added their perspectives of becoming themselves while being famous.  The album included voicemails from their family.  It was highly relatable to teenagers and even to the adults who hadn’t had the words to express their experiences of teenage hood.
In the beginning half of 1991, Alerie continued working hard and began the process for their 3rd and 4th studio albums and released 3 singles for the 3rd album - LOVE IS A LOSING GAME, HEALING FROM HEARTBREAK (FEATURING NORMANI KINGSLEY), TAKE CARE (FEATURING RAVYN ALLEN) / LOVE LASTS BETTER. By May of 1991, they released their 3rd studio album, THE ART OF LETTING GO. It did incredibly well and had a more mature sound than people were used to. Alerie was determined to have their music grow with them.  This album had the same sounds as before but with the surprising addition of jazz tones and audio clips from various singers from the 60s-80s. This album earned them 3 Grammy nominations -which one they won and was highly acclaimed.
 In the latter half of 1991, they released 4 more singles  - STRONGER THAN THE CHAINS THAT BROKE ME (FEAT. YOUTH GROUP OF KINGESTOWN), FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE (ALEX SOLO), CLOUDS (VALERIE SOLO), & WARRIOR (FEAT. JEWEL TRUSTE) - for their 4th studio album - PLAGUED WITH MANY SORROWS. The more fame, the more the girls were experiencing hardships and had a lot of issues in their personal life and decided to talk about some of them on this album. By this time, Alex was 18 years old and Valerie was 16 years old. They wanted their music to again detail their past experiences, the good, bad, and indifferent, while yet detailing their lucrative growth and maturity. This album earned them several Grammys - all of which they won - and launched their fame to new heights. Based off of their last album, they became a household name but with this album, launched them various TV appearances and by this time, their entire family moved to Bridgeport and they continued making a name for themselves. Alex decided that while living out ehr dreams, she wanted to include her dreams of having a family of her own, and while finding a partner was a bit harder to find, due to her own personal guards of people being disingenuous, she was more comfortable having kids around and decided to adopt a 3 year old little girl named Raine Jae Tearman. She loved her name and only changed her last name to theirs - Browne. Since her entire family, including her older brother and his household were all in Bridgeport, there was more than enough help to raise Raine.
By this time, Alex was focused on herself and Raine. She was also still growing into adulthood and wanted to continue living out her childhood dreams. However while Valerie was also enjoying the incredible success they had gained, she also wanted to start looking for love and creating a life for herself. Yes she was only 16 years old, but her parents allowed them to date, of course it would be heavily monitored. And she became torn between slowing down on wanting to make music and stop and fall in love. While all of this was going on, the girls’ worked behind the scenes on other career related projects and their 5th and final album - unbeknownst to the public.
By 1993, Alerie had their 5th album finished  - SYMPHONY - along with the music videos, pre-recorded interviews, and live shows. The album originally has 28 tracks and their deluxe version has 41 tracks. This album was another catalyst to their success which earned them the most awards of their careers together. They won various Grammys and other musical awards for this movie themed mixed concept and personal album. They conjoined their album and world tour and ended this album promo on an extremely high note, before the media could speculate. After its release, they announced that this was their last album together and they “would have to disband for personal reasons for the Browne family.” When the tour ended, the girls’ sent videos to various news channels and they broadcasted them thanking the world for their love but due to personal family issues, they would be resigning as a duo group and go their separate ways and seek new business ventures. What the media didn’t want to announce was that Valerie was pregnant , at 16 years old, and they continued to have her do all she physically did before the bump started to show and it was obvious. This shocked the world and was a bit of a disappointment to fans all around the world. Valerie decided to stay living with her parents and everyone in the family helped raise her daughter, Kallie Annaline Browne-Hardsen. When she turned 19 years old, she moved out of her parents home and into a house with her fathers child, Kameryn Hardsen and their 3 year old baby girl, Kallie. (that’s just a bit of foreshadowing.)
Meanwhile, LEXXA was determined to continue on and create a lane for herself as an independent artist. She made a new name for herself, LEXXA, (I’ll be referring to her using this name from now on) and decided to take 2 years off as well; she trained and prepared for the big transition of becoming an independent artist. She had to decide on what type of music she wanted to make, what image she wanted to present, and train her mind and body to perform as a solo artist. As opposed to sharing the notes and songs with her sister, she would now have to carry the show entirely by herself. It was a huge change for her but she wanted to execute it as flawlessly as possible. Her and Valerie went completely 2 different ways. LEXXA decided to continue pursuing her singing and acting career and becoming a mogul in the business industry to create a foundation of wealth for herself, her family and generations to come, starting with Raine. And Valerie chose to get out of the limelight, focus on her household, get married and go to college and get a plethora of knowledge, degrees and licenses. (more foreshadowing - she became a licensed Cosmetologist and Esthetician along with getting her Doctorates degree in internal medicine and science degree).

**** yes, I know these pics are of Chloe & Halle Bailey (shoutout to the legends - ungodly hour is one of the best albums ever!!!!!!) but I always have blueprints, as I call 'em, of my sims in human form....my sims don't look exactly like their human forms, but I just need a reference.... and I have a few versions of my sims in human form....as you'll see all versions of my sim, like Chloe is the young teenage/adult reference for LEXXA and Halle is the young teenage/adult reference for Valerie but as they get older, I have different people who represent them at their different stages/ages in life. I hope this makes sense......also, these pics are in order of the girls' teenage career and are taken from their photoshoots. (it ties in with the storyline)

Hope everything is okay. I just wanted to say I love your writing and both blogs :) if you ever do open requests again, and even if you do you don’t have to write this. But how about a drabble of levi and his wife who have 2 sons and 1 daughter named Kutchel who is 3/4. Levi loves all his kids but kinda has a soft spot for kutchel🥺 and sometimes her brothers exclude her from play n are mean to her so she comes up to him trembling like “why won’t they play w me daddy. Cue levi. Rest is up to u.
{AN}-> first of all, thank you so much for the love and support and of course for reading my work! And yes I am doing better thank you for the wishes! I am and ULTIMATE simp for papa Levi!
=================================
"I'm home" Levi called out as he slipped out of his work shoes and hung his blazer
"Dad! Look what I won today at practice!"
"Dad look at the grade I got o my test today!" your sons yell as they ran to their father holding up objects for him to look at.
Your eldest Liam who was 8 showed him what his football coach gave him, at practice. He had done very well and had gotten a button that said MVP on it, he was very proud of himself. Eli, your younger son who was 6, wanted him to know how well he was doing in his classes. He was top of his class and loved to show you both how hard he worked
"Congrats to both of you, I'm proud of you both for working so hard," he said ruffling their hair, gaining a big smile from them both
"Welcome home, Levi" you popped in with Kutchel in your arms, pecking Levi's lips. Your youngest and only daughter, Kutchel. She was 3, and definitely had Levi wrapped around her little finger.
The thing was, not only was she named after his mother, she looked so much like her! Of course, she had certain things from you but her eye shape, and nose were from his mother. Unfortunately, Levi lost his mother before Kutchel was born. It took a toll on him, all the things she had done to care for him, her sacrifice, everything.
He felt as though he was never able to repay her. Next thing you know about a year later, you found out about your pregnancy, with your first girl. The day she was born, Levi felt something he never had before. It was almost like he had completely healed from his loss when he looked at her.
"Papa!" she reached out for her father to take her, which he gladly did
"Hey there princess," he said kissing her chubby cheek "what did you do today?"
"Me and mama went to the park and I fed the birdies," she said with a rosy smile.
"Oh look at you doing big girl things! I'm so proud of you princess." he smiled at her and raised her above his head. Her brothers watching a bit disappointed from a distance.
Did they hate their sister? No. Their parents taught them to respect and love their sister, which they did. But at their age, jealousy was something big among siblings. Seeing how their father would be more affectionate towards their sister made them feel different. They saw that their father would gravitate more to their sister than to them. Or he would put her first before them when asked to spend time with them.
Of course, you had noticed this way before time. You had asked him when you were pregnant with Eli that he wouldn't have favorites and love all your kids equally. You knew that could make a bad relationship with his kids and between siblings so you wanted to avoid it. Sometimes you'd step in and try to give your sons the same praise, but of course, they still wanted their father's attention.
"Liam why don't you go and find a nice place to put that MVP button in your room, like a trophy" you try and lighten the mood "and Eli, I'm sure I have a frame for that test of yours" thank the god it actually worked as both boys run in different directions for each of their own things to do.
"Levi, did you see the boys' accomplishments?' you ask
"Y/N, I know where you're going with this. I paid attention to all of them, Liam is doing great in football, and Eli is practically a genius," he said putting down Kutchel
"*sigh* I know I just-"
"Want no one hurt I know, well how about you meet me in the kitchen and we can talk it out alright? Kutchel sweetheart, why don't you go and play with your brothers while I talk with mommy okay?" he said ruffling her hair
" 'Kay!" she said running up the stairs to where she'd find her brothers most likely.
"And what would this talk be about?" you ask raising an eyebrow as his hands found your waist
"Oh just about how I have some time to kiss you properly~"
>
" 'iam" Kutchel said as she enters his room, Eli in the same as they played together "can I pway with you and E-i?"
"No Kutchel, go away" Liam sneered "we don't play with babies"
"I'm not a baby!" she pouted
"Go away Kutchel, you're not smart enough to play this game either way," Eli said motioning to the board where he and his brother were playing chess "Maybe dad wants your company" Eli may be smart but he also got his father's sassy mouth
"B-but I wanna pway with you" he pouted trying not to cry as she sniffed
"Kutchel just go away, ugh you're so annoying when you cry"
"Yeah, and only babies cry."
"I-I not...a-a baby," she said as tears pooled in her eyes, of course, they would tease her playfully at times but this time Kutchel really did feel hurt
"Whatever, the only reason gives you so much attention is 'cause you were a mistake and he doesn't want you feeling bad" Eli sneered without thinking
"N-not true!" she stopped her feet as tears started to fall from her eyes, but she just couldn't handle any more ridicule from her brothers and left.
Meanwhile, you and Levi were in the kitchen caught in a makeout session when you heard a certain someone crying "Papa, mommy!"
It wasn't a regular call, she sounded hurt and heartbroken causing you both to separate quickly
"Kutchel, sweetheart what happened?" you ask as you kneel down and she crashes into your arm and lets out all her tears. Levi kneels beside you and strokes her back trying to comfort her some more
"P-papa, why won't 'iam let me play?" she asked her father as she peaked from your shoulder "T-they say I was a mistake.." she sniffed and you swore you could see the fire in his eyes. You stood up with Kutchel in your arms as Levi shot up and walked towards the stairs
"Levi! Levi, keep your anger in control, don't you dare-"
"Y/N, I won't do anything brash, but they can't say crap like that. I for sure didn't raise them this way. Just watch Kutchel, I'll talk to the boys"
Levi would NEVER lay a hand on his kids, but you didn't want him scolding either. However, they couldn't just say what they wanted to their sister thinking it was okay. Especially to the point of her crying.
"Come on baby, let's go watch the birds outside okay?"
Meanwhile, Levi is now knocking on Liam's door "Liam, Eli, come downstairs" he said while taking the lead waiting on them. He sat in a chair in front of the sofa and watched his sons take a seat. They looked like they knew what happened...
"Is there something you want to tell me? Like why Kutchel came to us crying? Asking if she was a mistake?" he said with a firm voice but not yelling at them. But enough to let them know he was very serious about the situation. Eli started to fidget with his fingers while looking down in his lap. Liam keeps eye contact with his father trying to keep a straight face.
"We didn't want to play with her so we said that so she'd leave..." Liam said
"That doesn't justify calling her a mistake. All three of you are here because your mother and I wanted you and we were happy as hell to have all of you."
"Even if you wanted all of us, it's not like you love all of us the same" Eli said crossing his arms
"Eli, that isn't-"
"you always put her first. Even if we come to you, whenever she comes you act more affectionate and happy with her just existing"
"We always have to do something just to get your attention...it sucks dad..." Liam added, "why can't you just love us how you love her?"
Levi was honestly hurt. He didn't want this to happen. He loved his sons to the moon and back. Maybe it was true that Kutchel got more attention from him but it didn't mean he didn't love them
"Boys, do you remember grandma?" Levi asked relaxing his posture a bit. Both boys nodded "Well, your sister looks a lot like my mother, it's why we gave her that name. I think I got attached to her in a way to cope with losing her. But I never want you to think I don't love you." he said kneeling in front of the two children
"The day you were both born were two of my happiest moments. You know I cried the first time you walked to me, Liam? And the day you told off Hanji made me laugh, Eli" he shared with them "I love Kutchel, but I also love you both to the end of my days. But I am sorry." he apologized opening his arms for them.
Hopping off the couch they have a warm group hug
"Alright, you two. I apologized but you still have some apologizing to do with your mother and sister," he said taking their hands and walking to the back porch where you sat with Kutchel
Levi clears his throat "You and Kutshcel have some visitors" he said with a nod to his hands
"Oh? What would these visitors like to say?" you ask in hope of a good outcome
"We're sorry we were mean to you Kutchel" Eli started
"Yeah, we didn't mean it, really. We were a little jealous but we never meant to hurt you. We love you" Liam followed
Kutchel pouted, not making eye contact "Really?" she asked
"Really really." they both offer a smile Kutchel jumps up from your arms and runs to hug her brothers. Walking over to Levi you kiss his shoulder and say
"Guess you'll be getting a reward for this accomplishment~"

May I request some La Squadra childhood headcanons (upbringing/family/habits/demeanor) :)) Maybe Mista and Abbacchio too if it’s not too much trouble since we already saw a bit of baby Bruno and it made me so curious about the other two! I always imagined Abbacchio to be a bit of a teacher’s pet as a kid lol. Your writing brings me life tysm!!!!
warnings for abusive family, human experimentation, misogyny, illness, hospitals, death, etc!
Risotto’s family did not care much about him. He’s the middle child of five - they grew up in a rural part of Sicily, in a house that used to be a farmhouse but was merely a house by the time Risotto came along (aside from a flock of chickens constantly in the gardens). He had a traditional Italian family full of people - various aunts, uncles and cousins - but his cousin was his favourite, seeing in Risotto’s quiet nature something similar to his own. Risotto was uncomfortable with there being too many people around and found his home life cramped and uncomfortable and loud. At the local village school he was often hunted out for games of sport (his height and muscle growing in at an early age), but he shied away from making friends, not sure how to handle himself around people who shouted and laughed, envying his siblings for everything seeming so natural. He often stayed with the cousin, and it’s through them he discovered metal music and his now signature look. His parents didn’t have time for him, but his cousin always did, becoming a makeshift father figure where Risotto’s failed. He grew very attached, and as we know, his cousins death hit him hard.
Formaggio grew up with a single father; his mother simply disappeared in the middle of the night and he never heard from her again. He was always loud, brash and cocky - his father was much the same way. They moved around from place to place, his father taking odd jobs to sustain them and never really getting the hang of them. His father was fairly young and a perpetual teenager, and Formaggio was much the same way. Despite living in occasional poverty, he always had a smile and he and his father were close to one another. He did not really make friends - other children were aware of his unwashed clothes, the fact his lunch was not made as neatly as theirs, the fact that his address was a one-bedroom apartment on the bad side of town - so he turned to acting out and violence, gaining a reputation as a Badly Behaved Child. His father fell into Passione in the need to support his son, and like father like son, Formaggio followed in his footsteps at fourteen (finding a camaraderie and sense of responsibility he never had at school and subsequently just stopping going there).
Illuso got into Passione for the money and the power. He was an only child and he had a nice upbringing, honestly - he just found himself not special at anything, and he desperately wanted to be. He flitted from hobby to hobby and interest to interest; he was clever and he noticed things, and neither of his parents really knew how to deal with their sharp-tongued child. He was a bit of a bully at school, but not the kind that is ever found out - Illuso’s bullying was quieter than that, whispered words and rumours that never seemed to find their way back to him. He was well-acquainted with blackmail before he turned sixteen. He knew how to sniff out weaknesses in other people - he was always surrounded by people, but it was a lottery as to whether they liked Illuso or whether they just didn’t want to be on his wrong side. Always willing to volunteer for things, too confident for his own good - eventually, he stopped caring about being ‘special’ at something, and just worked on being the ‘best around him’.
Melone’s backstory can be found here. Both of his parents were academics and lecturers in genetic science, and he’s the eldest child by eight years. His family moved around rather a lot. He has two younger sets of twins as siblings; one set of boys, and one set of girls. Growing up, his parents considered him less interesting and a little slow - he turned to science and genetics as a way to get their attention and praise; despite the fact he showed a natural affinity for it, by this time, they were far more interested in experimenting on their younger children and Melone was ignored. His nature is curious and insistent - he learnt to insist or to be ignored. He had to look after his younger siblings a lot growing up; they were home-schooled where he was not, and the strange separation of them and him and all of the children at school (Melone not quite fitting into either group) meant that he always seemed just a little off.
Prosciutto is a mafia man through and through. His family are entrenched in old bloodlines and uninvestigated deaths - unfortunately, though, they are a family that had somewhat fallen from grace by Prosciutto’s birth. The definition of faded glamour and keeping up appearances; rooms in a big, drafty old house that have an old bed and a falling apart dressing table. His father always talked to him about how it was his and his brothers’ job to keep the bloodline going - a traditional chauvinist of a man. His mother was very quiet and pretty; she encouraged him to small interests like old music and fashion, but was always silent around her husband. He grew up knowing his life was expendable. Youngest son of two; his elder brother died within months of finally being given his assignment within Passione and honestly, Prosciutto knows his father would rather he have died. A quiet little boy who did not make friends (he had a tutor) and had too much of the weight of the world on his shoulders in the knowledge of how many of his mother’s jewels were pasteboard, where the guns were kept, and just how many people he saw regularly were murderers. At his assignment at sixteen, Prosciutto had to learn exactly how to blend in, because many of the mafiosos he was suddenly surrounded by did not appreciate what they saw as his superiority.
Pesci was an only child of a single mother; his father passed away when he was young. He was rather sickly growing up, and it made his mother indulgent - despite growing up fairly middle class, he never wanted for anything, and they lived well beyond their means. His mother fussed over him, always afraid that he was going to have a relapse into his childhood illness - very much a child wrapped in cotton wool. It gave him his own complex about taking risks; he didn’t want to get hurt. He didn’t want to be rejected by other children. He was slow at his schoolwork but devoted to his mother, and other children saw him as a prime target to bully. He was kicked around a lot at school and it eventually made him too easy to subdue when he suddenly filled out and shot up and became a threat; found himself, too often, a henchman to more articulate, meaner children. Grateful to be accepted, he went along with the flow, despite feeling in the very core of his gut that he was disgusted by them. He ended up in Passione because his mother needed medical treatment and in trying to sort it out realised just how much debt they were in.
Ghiaccio just had a normal run-of-the-mill described as ‘average’ by everyone upbringing - both of his parents, an only child, a mother with a professional job, middle-class. His father was partially deaf - in my experience, people with deaf parents either speak very loudly or very quietly, and Ghiaccio has gone for the former. He learnt LIS at a very early age, and it’s part of the reason he can be so anal about pronunciation and language as a whole - he’s utterly fascinated by it, and that fascination started in early childhood. His parents were also indulgent of him, but having a younger brother meant that he didn’t get the full brunt of that indulgence - his brother was a little more of a ‘rough and tumble’ boy. He liked football and weights, and when he took up a sport Ghiaccio’s parents decided Ghiaccio should learn to do something too and asked him what he thought - they were surprised when he said ice skating, but figured he would go into ice hockey or something. He didn’t. For a while, he was fairly well-known in the competitive figure skating under eighteens circuit. It gave him two things; one, a competitive need to win and be good at things (and a propensity to tantrum when he lost) and two, a taste for flashy, expensive things (have you seen this man’s car). His parents eventually didn’t know how to deal with his arrogance, and he fell into Passione based on a ‘sponsor’ he ended up embroiled with at nineteen when his parents didn’t want to fund his ‘hobby’ anymore (they kept pouring resources into his younger brother, of course - Ghiaccio always felt a bit like they didn’t take him seriously). He left ice skating competitively behind, but he couldn’t leave behind the nice things or the anger issues he accrued.
I’ve written about Sorbet and Gelato’s childhood/backstory here! But a brief, shorter version:
Gelato had a loving family and a privileged upbringing. Always enough money, always enough to eat - an only child, who perhaps was a little rowdy at school but whomst his parents were very proud of. Both of them were traditional types; thinks a man should be strong, should be the real driving force of all relationships - they were extremely proud of him going into the army. Cleverer than people tend to give him credit for, sharp-eyed, a constant humming need to be doing something with his hands.
Sorbet was orphaned at a young age in a house fire and taken in by a church orphanage. He’s quiet but equally clever; his cleverness tends to be a little less in your face. He was a comforting presence to other people and took care of the younger boys (even now, he feels a sense of duty to some of La Squadra) - being low-voiced, soothing and commanding. He spent a lot of time reading. The church orphanage was poor; Sorbet has learnt to appreciate luxury where Gelato takes it for granted and it’s part of the reason he’s so concerned with finances even in his forties.
Abbacchio grew up in a houseful of women. His father left when he was still young; he was . . . not a nice man, and Abbacchio has vague memories of his mother carefully applying concealer over black eyes. It’s part of the reason Abbacchio became a police officer - knowing that he was still out there, not paying for what he’d done . . . Abbacchio wanted to ensure other people did not go through it. He had a little sister (by six years) who adored him, and his grandmother (who had once been an opera singer and still had a touch of that old-time glamour). He was fairly well off; at least, after he and his mother went to live with her mother again. His grandmother was EXTREMELY indulgent of her serious pretty-eyed grandson (his affinity for opera comes from her) who wanted so hard to be a Good Man. He was made fun of as a child for being a teacher’s pet and a nerd, you’re right - he adopted being a goth and dressing like that fairly early in his life. Nobody was going to threaten to punch him in leather and black lipstick, he thought - and nobody, too, needed to know that his CD player was blasting Monteverdi and not heavy metal.
Mista was the only child of an unreliable mother and a father who left when he was four (he kept very vaguely in touch; Mista has three little sisters who he sees occasionally but keeps quiet about his employ to. After the events of VA, he’s established a fund for each of them, but he wasn’t really permitted to see them much growing up). Even after his parents leaving and his neighbour’s loss of an eye (and the subsequent setting in of his fear of the number four), he was an easy-going child who made friends easily and smiled at all and sundry; he was never particularly book-clever, but he was good-natured and had many friends. His mother’s lack of reliability meant that he became very fond of simple things other people took for granted - when she died, he was sad, but his life did not change much. He’d already learnt to fend for himself when it came to food and the like; often coming home to an empty house and simply making do. (The lack of food in the house is part of the reason he gained such an affinity for things he saw as luxuries like wines and cheeses). He learnt to use his dark eyes and charming smile and warm nature to win sleepovers with schoolfriends and evening meals with their parents. Always a little bit behind his peers in having cool gadgets or interesting stories, Mista was content just to have a simple life and good health.

Horrible high school kids
You thought it was bonus doodles, but twas I ! another long hc post! This one is mainly about my personal HC’s for their childhoods and teenage years. Now edited to be slightly more readable!
Also, for clarification- I’m from the Netherlands, so that’s the school system I’ll be using. I just don’t understand other systems well enough, so bear with me. We’ve got elementary school from ~4 to ~12 , high school from ~12 to ~18, and college after that.
-Archie comes from a rather large family. His household consists of his mother, one older brother, one older sister, two younger twin sisters and one younger brother. His father used to be a sailor, but ended up in a shipwreck, never to be seen again. When he was still around, he was the one who caught a Carvanha for Archie.
 Despite his mother being a stay at home mom to take care of the children, due to being well insured and having a large network of aunts and uncles money never ended up being a problem for them. His mother did end up taking on farming on the side, mostly for themselves, but selling extra’s to the neighbourhood. Once Archie’s eldest siblings ended up getting jobs they also helped keep the family afloat.
Their house is right next to Slateport. They own their own patch of land and dock there.
-Maxie came from a pretty bad household. His mother and father didn’t meet under happy circumstanced, and his father ended up leaving the household when he was ~8. This left him alone with his mother, who fell further into a bad state. Due to not being in contact with other family members, it was just the two of them. Their house was an apartment in Mauville. They got in cheaply when the town was just partly done being rebuild. He stayed out as much as possible, preferring to explore the routes nearby whenever he could which is how he obtained his Numel. Back at home, the Houndoom his father left behind with them ended up having two Poochyena pups with the neighbours Mightyena.
-Archie and Maxie went to the same high school in Mauville, which is where they met (around 14/15yo). Archie was the kid who passed all classes despite never even studying. Maxie was a problem child at school. Due to not having a healthy outlet, he mostly took things out on those around him, leading into him getting into fights a lot and being rather disrespectful towards the teachers.
-Neither of them really interacted until they ended up in some of the same classes.
Due to Maxie keeping to himself and Archie already having a friend group, they still didn’t really talk to each other unless it was for class projects. Maxie didn’t care, and Archie just knew Maxie as the kid that liked to pick fights with people.
-The first real talk they had was when Archie ended up in detention due to being late with an assignment. Despite liking to act tough like any teenager would being put in detention for the first time kind of freaked him out! Maxie who also happened to be in for detention ended up striking up a conversation with him before the teacher came in.
They mainly ended up talking about Pokémon a bunch, and ended up promising each other a battle once they both weren’t stuck here. Archie assumed that meant once detention was over for the day, but Maxie decided he didn’t feel like sitting around there for an hour and left trough a window, leaving Archie to explain to the teacher what happened there.
(Due to always picking fights and never really turning anything in on time or being on time, Maxie was more or less in detention daily- or at least supposed to be. More often then not he didn’t feel like going, or left the moment the teacher stepped out of the room. He was kind of the personification of a problem kid.)
-After that, they did in fact have their battle later that week which ended in a tie, and they started talking in the hall sometimes. The year after their shared classes didn’t include any of Archie’s other friends, meaning they ended up sticking together more often as they gradually got closer. They started hanging out more after class, and kind of became an infamous duo- mainly thanks to Maxie- around the school.
Archie wasn’t quite as hyped at the idea of his mom being called about bad behaviour though, so he did his best to make sure they didn’t get in too much trouble. They butted heads over it sometimes, but overall kept getting closer.
This was also around the time Maxie got invited over to the Aogiri’s household more often. (Yes, I’m just using their japanese names as their last names, I don’t trust myself to name anything so this is just what it’s gonna be)
-From the way Maxie never invited Archie over to his house/the way he avoided talking about his home situation and family, Archie eventually figured something was up. After some awkward attempts to talk to Maxie about it (that mainly ended up in Maxie going on the offensive and yelling a lot) he one day showed up to Archie’s house crying and talked some about it. After that Archie became the only person he ever really confided in and even then not that much- preferring to talk about other things. Archie did his best to support him, but as a teen himself with his own issues it admittedly did take a toll on him as well.
-Somewhere during this time friendship turned to dating! It ended up being natural progression more then anything so it wasn’t the biggest change- they were already all over each other at that point anyhow. Now they just could be slightly more obnoxious about it PDA wise.
-Archie’s mother ended up noticing some things off about Maxie’s home situation over time as well, and after Archie explained some things to her, Maxie ended up being invited over even more. The Aogiri’s did their best to let him know he could stay here whenever, and he ended up being really close with all of them.
-Maxie started eventually doing a lot better in school with the support of the Aogiri’s. He mellowed out a lot and started getting better grades too. Despite trying harder in class, doing well in them never came as naturally to him as it did to Archie, so Archie ended up helping him majorly when it came to studying. That said, Maxie would never ever admit to that.
-At 16, Maxie officially stopped ever coming back to his own house. Most of his stuff was already with Archie’s family anyhow. He took the two Poochyena pups they had at home and his Numel and took off. His grand master plan was mainly just to live either outside or stay in Pokémon centers nearby- with all the 10yos running free in the world, it wouldn’t look that out of place. He figured he’d just keep himself monetarily supported by battling.
-As it turned out though, that was a lot easier said then done. Archie and his family however knew Maxie was on his own now, so they ended up being the ones providing for him. At that point there already was always a mattress laid out in Archie’s room for him and he had a corner of it to himself for all his stuff he couldn’t carry on him, so it worked out. They invited him in to officially live with them, but the anxiety of living in a house with others again was hard for him to deal with. So to keep his peace of mind he ‚officially’ stayed homeless. That said, he stayed there more then half of the time, and Archie’s mother always joked about how Archie was the first of her kids to bring her a child-in-law.
-Maxie ended up helping Archie’s mother on her mini farm a lot. He really enjoyed the work, and she appreciated the extra helping hand.
-Archie meanwhile ended up feeding stray Pokémon around their house a lot. This meant more and more would show up there each day, especially once his younger siblings started joining him. His mother wasn’t the happiest about it, but as long as they caused no harm saw no reason to stop them. It’s where he met his Zubat!
-Maxie met his Zubat when off on his own once in one of the school vacations where he ended up exploring a cave.
-Despite Archie trying very hard not to let it be noticed, and not even being entirely sure himself why, somewhere in high school he ended up first getting kind of depressed and feeling down. Due to having the support of his family and Maxie, it never ended up getting too bad, but he refused to truly confide to people about it, so it never truly left either. He did his best to ignore it and hoped it’d eventually go away on his own. (it didn’t)
-Once the kids turned 18, the Aogiri’s ended up helping fund his college education. Unbeknownst to anyone else, he also ended up sneaking back into his own parents house and stealing a large sum of cash from them to help with that.
-Despite having a rocky childhood, the support shown to him by so many different people throughout the years made Maxie grow very fond of community and humanity. He didn’t really have any big grandiose ideals at these ages, but it helped lay the groundwork.
Archie always kind of felt the opposite, being upset that the system led down his friend and worrying about what would have happened had his family not been there.
-While Archie and Maxie ended up getting different degrees- Maxie in Geology, and Archie in Marine Biology, they got an apartment together where they lived together pretty happily! It was mostly a calm time for the both of them. They both had some odd jobs on the side to support themselves, still looking for the actual dream job they wanted to end up in after graduating.
And from here on out it’s to be continued for whenever I finish the next HC post about their Rocket years! \(°▽°)/

hey sexy stranger who is not me would you like to talk about therese
hello sexy stranger who is not me i WOULD like to talk about therese aka theresa but i changed her name a little bit cause it didnt sound like. idk french enough
anyways therese florien is louis florien (oc)'s younger sister and also the last monarch of the northern empire (actually when she became queen she was the last monarch of just the north because the south and the west had broken off by that point but we'll get to that).
in the main story, 20-30 years after all these events ill be telling later take place, samira and the rest of the continent know her as 'The Coward Queen/Tea-time Queen' because she only ruled for a couple days and immediately forsook the throne when the southern and ko'bi army approached the capital. currently, she resides in the florien ancestral home (summerhead) on the northern continent, and she's converted the castle into both a prayer place and a place where travelers and vagabonds and so on can stay for safety. and she's basically become like a priestess . long long long backstory under the cut
anyways . the first we know of her is that she's louis' younger sister, she's very religious, she's very timid, and she's very close to her father gareth...there are reasons for the last two that have to do with her late mother lorete. so like. louis is a sorcerer which lorete discovered when he was just a child (northern sorcerers are believed to be willingly practicing dark magic against their religion or whatever) and the florien family is already in some deep shit with the royal family (tldr floriens used to be the royal family, were deposed and murdered and so on and also gareth pissed off his cousin back when they were in their twenties or whatever, this will all be relevant later) and so lorete knew that her son would be taken away/the family wld be punished or whatever adn devoted all her attention towards her son and towards concealing his magic from everyone, including his father.
and when she gives birth to therese, her attention is still all lazer focused on louis, and gareth, who doesn't know why she's ignoring her in the first place basically raises his daughter alone up until lorete dies of an outbreak of plague or whatever when therese is four and then he's raising the eight year old louis AND therese alone. therese's timidity comes from both the paranoia her mother exuded when she was little, lorete's death, the fact that when she was young she saw a jousting accident involving her father in which a man died. her piousness comes from the fact that the only thing she really did when she was younger was pray and read while her father was out doing knightly duties (cough cough colonizing) and it provided an outlet for her to vent her emotions ab her upbringing
also, there's a conspiracy the floriens were involved in with a couple other families set up by gareth's grandmother to restore the florien family on the throne (re: louis would become king when the time came) so like even then everyone always gave her brother attention over her because they were convinced he would be king and she was just the second child they didn't care about. in this world like women are as eligible to inherit and own land just as much as men btw louis was just the eldest
anyways because of her very like. kind of stuck up religious nature, her fear, and because the floriens are already kind of pariahs her first friends are just louis' friends, charicle elaphin (the elaphins are a family close 2 the floriens) and the strange iloro girl whos in training to be a knight (kidlat, but her 'northern name' is claire), but they get along very well, making a little sort of friend group.
as the years get on, therese really keeps herself busy just by taking care of her, who's very infirm, and reading more theological stuff (like by her hero, her ancestor aveline florien who was a priestess and religious reformer) and even writing a bit of her own stuff. to the outside world though, her interiority is looked down upon and royal family supporters (ie, against the floriens) even spread rumors about her, like that she's a secret sorcerer or something (the florien family has always had accusations of sorcery flung against them, little do they know there is a witch in her family but it's her brother who's actually the sorcerer)
we mostly either see her thru the perspective of kidlat, who likes her but feels a bit alienated to her like how kidlat feels alienated by everything northern, or louis who is like. apathetic towards her like he feels some affection for her because they're siblings of course but he's not really close to her and he thinks her piousness is self righteous and finds her deep fear and timidity unpleasant to deal with...tho, his greatest resentment towards her comes from the fact that he's always felt his father has preferred her over him (he does btw. like louis isn't wrong lol)
anyways the royal family sets up a wedding for her because louis refuses to be married, and claims this is out of love for their cousins, but this is just really a ploy to royally piss off gareth by taking his other child away from his household (something they already did to louis), and therese is um. well she's very angry and upset about this, which louis (and no one else, except for her father ofc) doesn't realize until the day of her wedding when he's getting her ready. she doesn't want to leave her father and summerhead, she wants to devote her life to the Goddess instead of some random husband, and she, like the rest of the floriens incl louis feels very humiliated and cheated by the way she's being treated when she has the right to the throne, when she and co should be in charge....this surprises louis because. he didnt know other people had feelings. also at some point therese wants to ask charicle to marry her instead because he's very religious as well and he's gay so neither of them would have pressure to feel love for the other, but louis tells her to not do that by saying oh well he's half western you're a florien almost-princess which convinces her to not do that
anyways she does get married to this guy, and has a kid (eventually), but continues to constantly visit her own family and gareth dies of like. natural causes or whatever (also stress because of louis being a cunt asshole or whatever and therese leaving him and colonizer guilt and a bad leg infection and honestly the man had a lot going on tbh) which really really bums her out, louis also yells at her because again, poorly hidden resentment over his father's preferential treatment of her which makes her even more upset
also later on when the king is dying she tries to pray for him at his bedside but the queen, who again, does not like the floriens, gets mad, calls her a witch and devil or whatever whos killing him, tries to beat her etc, and finally therese has had it she's HAD it and her big joker breaking point moment is. throwing a shoe at the queen and calling her a 'very godless lady'
anyways later later after aeetes (yeah remember him) kills prince edouard, who was about to be crowned king, and the west, galvanized by the south breaking off and the death of the Sort of King, breaks off as well and starts waging war against the northern forces, the remaining northern lords are like. well shit. whos going to be in charge. maybe the floriens again? but..... louis has already ran off chasing after the deserter kidlat (and unbeknownst to everyone, has died in a tragic mysterious Axe Murder Accident) so the crown goes to...you guessed it....therese! anyways she's crowned, only of the north, which is the only nation the crown has juristiction over at this point, but when the southern and ko'bi forces annihilate the remainder of the loyal northern knights (many northern families have tried to start their own factions to try to reconquer the continent, even fighting each other..this is not working) and move up to take the throne a couple days afterward, her deep fear that she's always carried with her leads to her immediately forfeiting the crown and running away....
i wrote a little something from her perspective on her coronation, basically she believes that the goddess has put this in her hands for a reason, she believes and knows she's truly the heir to the great florien kings and queens, she's apathetic towards the (supposed) death of her brother because um. the way he treated her for all of her life, though she does feel a great emptiness now that he's gone, she wishes her mother and father were there to see her, but there's always that. undercurrent of anxiety and uncertainty she's always had. so you can kind of see what she eventually does coming from a mile away

Have you ever noticed that ( EMMA FROST ) from the ( MARVEL UNIVERSE ) looks a lot like ( ABBEY LEE )? But ( SHE ) also goes by ( WHITE QUEEN ). Having the ability of ( TELEPATHY & ORGANIC DIAMOND FORM ) sure makes them a force to be reckoned with. They’re known to be ( PRAGMATIC ) but also ( RUTHLESS ) and they’re ( 33 ) years old.
character name: Emma Grace Frost
age: 33
faceclaim: Abbey Lee (Kershaw)
skill set: Omega Level Telepath & Organic Diamond Form
family: Winston Frost (father, deceased), Hazel Frost (mother, deceased), Adrienne Frost (older sister, deceased), Christian Frost (older brother), Cordelia Frost (younger sister).
zodiac: Scorpio
wiki link: Marvel Wiki
Emma’s headcanon is an abbreviated version of her Earth-616 to remain consistent with events. Such events will be omitted for dubious canonicity, events that have not happened (Dark Phoenix Saga) and other things that have not happened in the group.
CANON BACKGROUND:
Emma Grace Frost was born into a very wealthy, respectable but militant family in Boston, Massachusetts and was the middle child. She attended a private school where she was frequently bullied for her average grades and awkward looks. Her father, Winston, was cold, domineering and placed impossibly high standards upon his family. Her mother, Hazel Frost, abused prescription drugs to cope with the tension in the family. Emma received no emotional support from her parents and was only close with her older brother, Christian. Having suffered headaches for weeks, Emma began to discover her mutant ability of telepathy and used it to up her grades and she found emotional support in teach Ian Kendall, who encouraged her dream to be a teacher, something her father was not accepting of. When her car broke down on the way home, by chance Ian gives her a ride home and after reading his mind to know his feelings for her, they shared a kiss. A kiss the eldest Frost sibling, Adrienne, recorded and showed to their father to get Ian fired. Emma had enough of being walked over by her family and she exposed Adrienne’s secret modelling career while also exposing her father’s affair to her mother, something her father was proud of. So much so, he offered Emma to inherit the family fortune but after he had Christian committed to a mental hospital for being gay, Emma refused his offer and decided to make her own way in life.
Safe to say that didn’t go well for Emma, ending up on the streets homeless where she met a man called Troy. They both made a plan to use her status to extort money from her father to pay of his drug debt. They stage a kidnap with his drug dealer and gang but things go sour when her father refused to pay the ransom. Adrienne released the video to the public, forcing her father to pay but the dealers were not happy with this and the kidnapping turned real and Troy is murdered. Emma discovered more of her powers and controlled the dealers to attack each other and release her.
She took the ransom money and began attending school elsewhere and found a friend in fellow telepath Astrid Bloom who was dating her high school flame Ian. When there were several attacks on campus including her own date, Emma discovered Astrid was behind the attacks and defeated Astrid. She saved Ian’s job but when she told him she was a mutant, he was disgusted and left her. From there, Emma became cold towards humanity, having given up hope that she would find any love or acceptance. She wanted to change herself and not just emotionally but physically, dying her hair blonde and having a nose job.
It was then when she became a stripper at the Hellfire Club in which she met Sebastian Shaw, a fellow mutant. The pair took over the Inner Circle and filled it with those they considered worthy to be their peers, other mutants. They became a secret group of business mutants with connections to some of the most powerful politicians to the most influential people in the world. However, Emma discovered that her true passion was teaching rather than being a villain. In turn, she left the Hellfire Club not long after setting up her own school that rivalled Xavier’s, the Massachusetts Academy.
However, after her sister killed one of her students and destroyed her school, Emma murdered her sister in revenge, losing the trust of her faithful students. Emma relocated to Genosha and focused on redeeming herself to guide young mutants to success rather than be a foe to the homo sapiens. However, Emma’s life was shattered again that during the middle of her class, Genosha was attacked by Sentinels that were unaffected by telepaths and all of her students were slain besides herself who had a second mutation to turn into an indestructible diamond form. She was left distraught and was convinced by the X-Men to join them to continue her passion of teaching.
Wanting justice and to honour her fallen students, Emma joined the X-Men and served as one of their most formidable members as well as teachers. Unlike Charles, Emma refused to sign the Accords but made a televised announcement that mutants should not register for being born but they shall remain neutral in the matter. When Charles and Erik created Krakoa, Emma was approached to become a member of their council due to her extensive experience with mutants as well her business mind and having a way with people.
Emma Frost took over the Hellfire Club and combined it with her inherited company, Frost International, to become the Hellfire Trading Company. Besides being a teacher, Emma is the diplomat for Krakoa, often the one to do the public speaking as well as monitor the commercial transactions between mutants and humans.
SOKOVIA ACCORDS:
Emma is against the Accords and has stated that mutants should not be asked to sign as they have no choice in the matter of their genetics. However, Emma has made it public that though she won’t sign, she does not stand against them and has said she is a business woman and teacher foremost and doesn’t class herself as a vigilante or superhero.
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
Friends: The Stepford Cuckoos, Scott Summers, Namor, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler. Any X-Men or rich people to rub shoulders with.
Works with: X-Men, maybe be open to negotiating with others.
Foes: Has a particular disdain for the Avengers, Sebastian Shaw, anyone who is against mutantkind.
ANYTHING ELSE?
I have a detailed bio and power set on her blog and please feel free to message me on discord or here to plot with me. Love you all.

Hey, I'm working on a fantasy story that basically is about a group of royal kids who's parents disappear. There's a couple of situations that I need help with though.
1. There's a king who's kingdom is mostly run by his advisors, he himself has very little political power (and his advisors suck) he has a habit of adopting kids, but their backstories range from former street rat, to girl who was sent to assassinate him and he just kept her. The advisors are very classist and won't let him make any of them heirs, so he compromises and makes one of his younger kids the heir, a 11 year old orphaned son of nobles. The advisors accept this because he's "One of our own" later, it turns out the king has a bastard son who is 5. He thinks of all his kids as his own, and is trying to stall making that kid the heir since he's younger than the current heir. Nothing has been settled yet when the king magically disappears. It's worth noting that all 5 of the heir's adopted siblings would support him, although the younger bio kid would try and declare his right to the throne since that's what his mother told him to do.
2. This one is weird since it involves time travel, but bear with me. There's a king, in a kingdom that is based heavily around magic and worships it as a sentient being (which it is, to be fair). The main priests are also the rulers, but they are chosen by the magic and it seems to favor certain bloodlines. The king is also surrounded by other priests/nobles, who he considers family. He is married, but they don't have any kids yet and his wife's nephew is the heir due to him also being a priest. However, two of his grandkids get sent to the past to protect them from stuff in the future so now he has them too. They are both priests as well (or priests in training anyways, they're 12) they're cousins. The main problem is that instead of just the king, all the adult priests/nobles disappear. So the only two heirs are the grandkids from the future. The problem is that they don't even know the boy's birthday, so they don't know who is older. They would judge it off of who is more fit, but that's also a problem as the girl is (slightly) more disciplined, but the boy is very powerful.
3. There's yet another kingdom where all the adult nobles disappear, but the king had three sons, two bio and one adopted. The eldest is technically a bastard, but he's also kinda a test tube baby? (Ish, and the king didn't even know at first) he's half foreigner which is a big deal to their culture. He's also 13. The other problem is that the official heir was actually his older cousin, who also disappeared. He has two younger brothers, but one is adopted like I said and the other is 7. The people really don't like the older two, but also the only other heir is a little kid.
What do you think would happen in thes situations? Sorry for such a long and complicated ask, if you don't have time to answer I totally understand. Love your blog!
Basically what would end up happening here would be a major dispute. There are a lot issues for both teams. The 5 year old and the 11 year old will require Regents. The 5 year old is at least eleven years off ruling on his own behalf will the 11 year old is five years off. Some nobles would side with the 11 year old because he was chosen especially by the King and will require a shorter Regency. The 11 year is of the Royal line but his mother and her family (factoring how grasping they are) may turn people off joining their team, as there may be few opportunities and power would lay in their hands. If the council want to keep things calm, they would make sure they have all the heirs in their grasp and make the 11 year old the heir, estentially keeping everything as it was.
They would have to figure out who was born first. But this need not be roadblock. You do have magick to explain things. Perhaps the priests have a ritual to discern who was born first. Perhaps the cousin does know and he is actively trying to keep the grandkids (who are the rightful heirs) from the throne or even vice versa. You can create an entire subplot here. You can really uplift the story.
Really what would happen is that the 13 year old and their older sibling would rule on behalf of the 7 year old. If there are no adults, the older children will have to step in and act as Regents

Also simple question, I am seeing it is kind of split with how Weiss handled Whitley when her team was seeking shelter. I see some say Weiss was in the right and Whitley was just being a jerk, others say Weiss went too far and disregared her promise to Willow. Me I am unsure of Weiss but I do know Whitley was justified in his objections. What do you thing?
Hiya Crystal. For me, it's a case where I feel both sides were more or less justified in a sense.
While I understand that RWBN needed a temporary shelter to crash for the night while Nora was in recovery, I do believe Whit was vindicated in his unwillingness to aid the group given the all-important fact that they are criminals wanted by General Ironwood and the Atlesian Military.
By hiding at Schnee Manor, Weiss is unintentionally making the rest of her family look like accomplices for harbouring them which could result in Willow and Whit either being locked away in jail along with Jacques or worse.
Tumblr media
As we saw from the first episode, Ironwood is not in the right frame of mind right now. If he was willing to outright kill the remaining members of the Atlas Council who stand to oppose his actions to defend the kingdom and/or forcibly impose the aid of Arthur Watts despite his crimes against his kingdom as a means of getting Penny to return to him against her will, then what's stopping Ironwood from deeming the whole Schnee Family (minus Winter, of course) as traitors to Atlas and ordering their execution on the spot.
Tumblr media
I know this may sound like an extreme worst case scenario but at this point, after seeing Ironwood’s actions for the past couple of episodes, I honestly wouldn’t put it past him.
Like I said, Weiss may be putting her brother and mother in danger and it is disappointing that she hasn’t considered this potential repercussion. Or perhaps she has...which could rationalize why Weiss firmly told Whit to go to his room last episode while she and the other girls aided Nora.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let me explain what I mean by this. I do disagree with the notion that Weiss ignored her mother's wishes to look out for Whitley.
While I was annoyed at the crude tone Weiss took to poor Whit upon returning home at first, after more thought, I came to the realization that perhaps Weiss wasn’t acting stern with Whit because she was trying to be rude or disrespectful to her little brother.
On the contrary, Weiss in that moment sounded very much like a parent to Whit.
She wasn't being the older sister who has ignored her brother in the past. I saw that moment as Weiss attempting to be like a firm yet caring parent to Whitley.
"Go to your room!" Weiss sounded like such a mom in that instance that I honestly thought it was kind of adorable. And it makes sense.
Last season, Willow explained to Weiss that Whitley is only the way he is due to being raised poorly by both her and Jacques who admittedly weren't the best parental figures and role models in the young man’s life. Unlike Weiss, who at least had Winter looking out for her, Whitley never had that kind of proper guidance from anyone.
So I took that moment from the last episode as Weiss trying to do just that. Be a guiding voice for Whit. Sure she was firm with him but I more saw it from a place of compassion rather than ignorance, y’know what I mean? It’s not the same tone as Weiss took with her brother before. I dunno. Maybe I’m the cheese that stands alone with this stance. All I can say is that from my perspective, I took the V8CH4 moment between Weiss and Whitley as Weiss trying to be maternal towards Whit.
And what's interesting to note is just how quickly Whitley listened to Weiss. While he appeared annoyed, he didn't object to going to his room either. This, in addition to him folding at allowing RWBN to stay until Nora recovered, proves Whit isn’t as rotten to the core as some folks might peg him to be.
Tumblr media
He's not as heartless as others might expect him to be due to his upbringing.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again---Whitley Schnee is NOT a bad person. He’s just misguided which is why a relationship between him and Weiss would be important to his development. All Whit needs is proper guidance from someone who can show him to become the best person he can be and this is why Willow told Weiss to be there for him.
I found it interesting that Willow told this to Weiss as a opposed to Winter, despite both of them being at the Schnee Manor that night of the dinner. Call it coincidence or just a matter of the narrative but, it wouldn’t surprise me if Willow reached out to Winter to be there for both of her younger siblings in the past.
Or perhaps…Willow attempted to get Winter to care for her little brother as well but given the strained relationship between Winter and Whit (since Weiss outright said that Whitley doesn’t like Winter back in V4), Winter probably saw Whit as a lost cause and instead channelled all of her support into moulding Weiss which worked out.
Weiss was able to change to become a better person due to the support of those who cared for her like her older sister and the friends she made at Beacon who eventually became like family to her too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now what’s needed is for the same type of development to happen for Whitley hopefully.
Ultimately, I think Weiss will be the only family member that Whitley will have to turn to in the end so now would be a better time to help guide him as he is still pretty young.
I also have a hunch that Willow Schnee will probably die soon. Given what was said by Whit about her last episode, her current condition is giving me "dead mom" red flags.
My concern is that Weiss might just go to visit her mom in her room only to find her dead from an overdose of alcohol mixed with pills as a form of suicide. I'm not trying to imply that I think Willow may be suicidal at this point in the narrative, since I doubt the showrunners will go that dark but...I dunno. It's a weird vibe I'm getting that makes me think Willow won't be around for much longer, thus taking away yet another family member for Whit to turn to.
His dad is in jail, probably for life. Mom isn't look too stable health-wise and may either die or be forced to go away for some time in order to get herself the proper help she needs. Eldest sister doesn't want to have anything to do with Whit or the Schnee Family name or affairs for that matter.
The only person Whit has a chance with is Weiss. It wouldn’t surprise me if Weiss becomes Whitley’s primary caretaker and/or custodian following the Atlas Arc.
I’m not sure how old Whit is. Some folks peg him to be around Oscar’s age but I was more of the impression that Whit is between Ruby and Oscar in respect to ages. If Oscar is 14 going on 15 and Ruby just turned 17 as of V7, then my assumption is that Whit is probably 16-years old. Young but at the ripe age that he could be made heir to the Schnee Dust Company and take over from his father in terms of authority should anything happen to Jacques (as we’re already seeing done in the PLOT).
I’m not sure how parental custody works in the realm of Remnant but Weiss is old enough to become the legal guardian to her brother since she is 19.
Bottom-line what I’m mainly trying to say is that Weiss may just end up being all Whitley has in the end to turn to in terms of family---unless Klein returns to Schnee Manor out of concern and care of the young master after hearing what became of the Schnees.
I’d love to think that Klein loved the Schnee siblings as if they were his own children. So wouldn’t it be touching if, despite being wrongfully fired by Jacques, Klein returned to Schnee Manor to willingly offer his services to young Whitley because he genuinely loved and cared for him?
Wouldn’t that be a sweet way to bring Klein back into the picture especially as someone to watch over Whit in place of Weiss as she goes off to fight the forces of evil?
Also, now that I think about it again---Weiss sending Whit off to his room was actually a wise move because as we know, Schnee Manor is a large estate. In the event that the authorities show up at their doorstep and accuse the Schnees of harbouring criminals, Whit can always make the excuse that he and his mom were locked inside their respective rooms at the time and weren't aware of RWBN being on the premises, especially since there were no staff around to alert them of their intrusion.
So yeah; that’s how this squiggle meister sees it, Crystal.
Weiss wasn't disregarding her promise to her mother. I think she's actually trying in her own Weiss-way to live up to it and actually look out for Whit.
Whether or not, Whitley will continue to keep listening to Weiss or fight her on the matter, is up to him as we'll see from the show in tomorrow’s new episode. But for now, those are my thoughts on that fam. Hope this answers your question.

Raphael anon back once again with a hilarious thought: Family therapy with Crowley, Lucifer, Gabriel, & Micheal and it’s just so wild & the poor therapist is so confused. They assume it’s just rich people scandals & shenanigans but all of these drama queens in a room together trying to work through over 6,000 years of family issues while some poor human tries to keep everything from becoming a chaotic nightmare without the full story of what’s going on is infinitely funny to me.
hello, anon! this was such a delight to write! also, fun fact, i’m a psych major and took one (1) intro to counseling psych class, but that actually helped in writing this, so that was fun! This is also super long (1k words!) so it also goes under a read more. (another fun fact: i stole the name Dr. Martin from Lucifer on Netflix because why not.)
(one more fun fact, i genuinely hate the Neflix!Lucifer stereotype that a psychiatrist who went to med school would be a therapist. it’s two different fields. ok sorry, it’s fic time)
Dr. Martin was good at her job. She worked hard to become a therapist, and she genuinely believed that she could help her clients. It’s why she started her private practice.
Her next appointment was a family therapy session. She briefly wondered how her secretary forgot to mention that she had an appointment or that she had new clients at all, but these mistakes happen. Sometimes computers just don’t want to work, deleting emails and not saving the clients’ last names in the file.
The family consisted of four siblings. Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel, and Anthony J Crowley. Anthony, she learned, preferred to be called Crowley, and the other three siblings did not share that last name.
The four siblings did not get along. At all. And they wanted to, Crowley explained, but they just couldn’t see eye to eye.
“It all started when Mother kicked me out,” Lucifer said. “More specifically, she had Michael kick me out because she’s–”
“Because,” Michael interrupted, “you were an awful son who refused to listen to her. Causing trouble, thinking you’re better than her. Asking questions.” That last part was clearly directed at Crowley, who offered a light shrug.
“Interrupting isn’t kind, Michael,” Dr. Martin said. “Please let Lucifer talk, and then you can say your part.”
If looks could kill, Dr. Martin would’ve died a hundred times over in her career. Michael’s glare was terrifying, but she’d seen it all before.
The final picture was that their mother kicked out Lucifer and Crowley due to rebelliousness. The two questioned her authority and so they had to be removed before they corrupted any others. Now, after the disappearance of their mother, the siblings decided to get together again and reconnect.
A cult, Dr. Martin realized. She was working with the aftereffects of a cult. The religious names, the absolute authority, the punishment that included some kind of fire, the isolation from others, it all painted a very clear but dark picture.
She thanked them for their openness and had her secretary book their next appointment.
Then, she realized how much she didn’t know about cults–she owned a private practice, she didn’t work with law enforcement or social services–and began her research. She read articles on cult-related family dynamics and trauma. She even called her old colleague for some direction.
The next session, the two eldest siblings focussed on each other. As Lucifer and Michael went on, Crowley and Gabriel seemed content to watch them argue as Dr. Martin futilely attempted to control the session.
“Even now, you’re a pest,” Michael sneered, ignoring the no-interruptions rule. “Your demons cause nothing but trouble and you barely control them.”
Inner demons were difficult to control, sometimes spiralling and causing issues in real life. It took strength to admit that you need support in fighting your battles.
Lucifer spoke before Dr. Martin could voice that.
“Maybe you should control your angels, Michael. Always wandering into trouble, making friends with demons and then getting hurt. It’s almost as if they don’t respect your command.”
“Tell your demons to stop fraternizing with the enemy!”
“Hey,” Crowley interrupted. “I thought that sides don’t matter anymore. I can fraternize with an angel if I wanted to.”
“Now, yes, but not before,” Michael said patronizingly, as if she was leading the session rather than Dr. Martin. “But you endangered yourself and Aziraphale by being with him.”
“Not like Aziraphale was in danger,” Gabriel grumbled. “He got away with it.”
The session ended without any of the siblings making any progress. It was fine, Dr. Martin rationed. Progress is not always linear, and she needed to first create a safe space where they were comfortable speaking up.
She also realized that her original theory was wrong. It wasn’t a cult. It was the mob.
Different sides, angels and demons, both told that the other is the enemy. Perhaps Lucifer and Crowley disagreed with their “mother’s” rule and were punished for noncompliance. Michael was clearly the enforcer, punishing those who stepped out of line. It blurred the definition of “sibling,” but it explained the disdain that Lucifer and Michael had for each other.
This realization led to a new line of research. The mob was harder to research from a psychological or counseling therapy perspective, and Dr. Martin ended up making even more calls to colleagues and old professors.
“First a cult and now the mob,” her old classmate laughed. “You have some interesting clients.”
Dr. Martin refused to admit that she was wrong about the cult. No one had to know.
She changed her strategy during their next session. The past was important to understanding a person, but perhaps it was better to focus on the present.
“Despite everything that happened, Lucifer and Crowley being kicked out and you being forced to lead, how do you feel about Lucifer right now?”
Michael didn’t answer immediately, which was a good sign. When she answered, she didn’t look at Lucifer or speak to him directly, but she knew that he was there and listening to her.
“I don’t hate him,” Michael said slowly. “He’s still my brother. I didn’t have a choice, you know. I had to do it.”
Dr. Martin could imagine the lack of choice. It was likely that if Michael didn’t do as told, she would’ve also been punished. It was coercion, and Michael couldn’t be held fully accountable.
“I don’t hate you, either,” Lucifer said. There was a forced air of casualness around him, protecting Michael from rejection. “You’re still my baby sister. No fall can change that, Micah.”
Progress. It took three sessions and a lot of pain and bitterness, but they were making progress. Michael and Lucifer finally broke through their hard shells to admit that there is a possibility to move forward in their relationship with genuine love and affection. That kind of hope was why Dr. Martin was a therapist in the first place.
Dr. Martin scheduled their next appointment. She was hopeful for their next session, creating an outline that would include more dialogue and encourage the younger two siblings to speak more often. The four of them had hope yet.
Dr. Martin was good at her job. She would help bridge a 6000 year old gap of pain and misery to create a new era of peace. Not that she knew that, of course. She was just a therapist to a weird group of siblings.
Humans, She thought in amusement, were clearly Her best creations yet.

My Whump OCs
Quick and dirty introduction to my mains.  Yes, a lot of them have startlingly similar names.  Yes, a lot of them share personality traits.  It’s not easy coming up with original characters, okay.  (Masterlist.)  (With pronunciation guide.)  (I’m not a linguist, I’m sorry.)
Aidan (AY-duhn) - younger brother of the leader of the elementalist clan.  Hotheaded.  Tempestuous.  Fiercely protective of his family.  Fond of fire.  Defiant.  Buries terror deep inside so no one can hear him scream.  Would do anything for his family.  Would die for them.  Would kill for them.
Aliya (AH-lee-ah) - something spy secret agent something.  Defiant.  A little bit self-sacrificial.  Despises the Redford assassin, no really, she does, it’s just a coincidence that they keep working together.  Really goddamn scary when she puts her mind to it.
Becca (beck-ah) - R&D for secret agent organization.  Nerdy.  Devoted to her job.  Possibly lacks a healthy self-preservation instinct by not putting up with flirts and/or threats from field agents.  Loyal.  (Pity no one believes her.)
Brie (bree) - omega.  Loves to read.  Fierce and stubborn and determined to shatter through barriers and discrimination and gender roles and - or, at least she was.  Now she’ll do absolutely anything not to get sent back to Radcliff Hill.  Terrified and lost and paranoid, because once bitten is twice shy.
Delia (DELL-ee-ya) - definitely not a superpowered mercenary, a fact that has been made painfully evident.  Spiteful.  Loyal.  Just wants her friends back.  Just wants to feel like she belongs.
Draven Riker (drah-vin rye-kir) - Baron of Skalid.  Stubborn.  Prideful.  Warrior.  Is not fond of listening to other people’s opinions once he’s made up his mind.  Is also not fond of talking about his feelings, especially to his wife.  An idiot, at times.
Gabriel (gay-BREE-uhl) - angel.  Blond hair, wings.  Warrior.  Angry.  Is not at all worried about a demon with a sharp grin, no, not at all, something in his heart didn’t crack at the sight of shadows under betrayed eyes.  Has several confusing feelings and an incredibly complicated romantic history.  Deals with confusing feelings by denial.  (Not a recommended strategy.)
Janiya (jah-NEE-ya) - just a researcher, not enhanced or a trained fighter.  Jealous.  Wanted to be a part of the group and covered up hurt with vicious sneers when she was rejected.  Cruel, cutting comments.  Is intimately aware that she’s the most breakable, and refuses to show weakness.  Right up until she’s forced to.
Kyran (KAI-rahn) - demon.  Is definitely a snarky little shit.  Black hair and red eyes and a shroud of darkness.  Has frighteningly low self-esteem, under the witty repartee.  Alone.  Loyal.  Clings to the first people to show him the barest hint of affection, even if they make it clear they’re not his friends.  Is not interested in the hot angel with the distracting glower, no, not at all, it definitely didn’t feel like his heart was torn in two when the angel betrayed him.  Can make self-sacrifice look defiant.
Laila (LAY-la) - Witch Chief.  Centuries old.  Incredibly powerful.  Fell for the uptight, stuffy leader of the local branch of the supernatural police.  Self-sacrificial.  Just wants family and friends and love, is that too much to ask?  Fiercely protective of the things that are hers.  Terrifying, in the right mood.
Leia (LAY-ah) - Agent Consort.  Deadly.  Beautiful.  Possibly fond of the tech with the unamused and fearless glare.  Definitely fond of the squeak said tech made when she smirked, slow and sultry.  Field agents are her family, the only one she has left.  Inventive and vicious.  Deals with betrayal by...you don’t want to know.
Livia Redford (lee-vee-ah RED-fuhrd) - assassin, and a damn good one at that.  Terrifying.  Blood red lipstick and black leather and sharp heels.  Has her own private army of minions.  Is absolutely fanatical about protecting what’s hers.  Morals, what are those?  Is very intrigued by Aliya - few people have defied her and lived.  You do not want to get on her bad side, trust me, because you won’t stay there very long.
Maia (MY-ah) - human, head of the science division in the first alien-free outpost.  Cold, detached, lonely.  Extremely distrustful, but that’s fair because the last people she trusted strapped her to a table to perform experimental surgery.  Ruthlessly practical.  Has a heart, just likes to pretend it doesn’t exist so that it doesn’t break any further.
Mercia Merkel (muhr-cee-ah muhr-kuhl) - lady of Eris, by marriage.  Tries to be a good ruler.  Tries to be a good mother.  Is not fond of the living, breathing reminder of her dead husband’s infidelity.  Is also a little bit pissed off on behalf of said living, breathing reminder because of the near-criminal negligence of the girl’s parents.  Adoption is a valid revenge strategy, isn’t it?
Naya (nah-ya) - grad student by day, vigilante by night.  Self-sacrificial.  Exhausted.  Alone.  Has hit rock bottom and is just done.  Wants to curl up in a little ball and wish the world away.
Nerali (nay-RAH-lie) - youngest sibling of the elementalist clan.  Self-sacrificial.  Determined to prove herself.  Just wants to make her eldest sister proud.  Wants to feel like she belongs.  Assumes all problems are her fault.
Niyati (nee-YA-thee) - secret black ops spy agent.  Loves her team - her family.  Determined.  Has a startling propensity to run into wealthy, shady Russian businesswomen in otherwise normal missions.
Reina (RAY-na) - illegitimate daughter of a dead lord.  Turns out it’s very easy to become self-sacrificial when your half-siblings are the only ones who care whether you live or die.  Fiercely protective of her siblings, both sets of them.  Just wants to be a part of the family.
Riva (ree-va) - tech support at a militaristic organization.  Loyal.  Definitely exasperated by her teammates.  Smidgen of low self-esteem, well-concealed.  Anxious.  Perfectionist.  Prefers to know the exact specs of her job, because following is easier than leading.  Not a fighter.  Smart.
Riya (REE-ya) - former member of a supernatural police force.  Stoic.  Definitely a fan of ‘I’ll tell no one about my plan ever so they continue to assume I don’t have a heart’.  Defiant.  Self-sacrificial.  Tried very hard to be a good leader.  Cripplingly low self-esteem.  Too afraid to look for love after getting rejected.
Rhiya Riker (REE-ya rye-kir) - Baroness of Skalid.  Warrior.  Defiant.  Prideful.  Self-reliant.  God forbid she ever has to talk about her feelings out loud.  Emphasis on defiant.

Triple the Losers AU - Concept Notes
i wanted there to be 27 but if i added patties and audras that made 27 but then i’d have to add kay bc i love her which would make 28 so 21 it is
so the basic concept for this is “hey guys remember how i doubled the baudelaires and made the best au with movie! and netflix!bauds well we’re doing that with book, miniseries and film losers club”
So, yeah, in this au, the book, miniseries and film Losers are all in the same universe, related, and ready to kill a clown. There is no Chapter Two because these kids bully that clown to death asap.
A friend group of 21 is pretty wild but definitely makes for a pretty great army.
Full list of Losers:
The Denbrough Boys
Isaac Denbrough - film!Bill
13
An adopted sibling, though he’s never known any family but the Denbroughs and is never considered anything other than the oldest Denbrough boy
Artist who wants to illustrate for his brothers’ books bc he loves them
Gay but in denial. Giant crush on Daniel Hanlon.
Anselm Denbrough - miniseries!Bill
12
Likes to write fantasy novels as an escape from reality
Fights with Bill about whether fantasy or horror is better which is lowkey a metaphor for them arguing about how to deal with their trauma
William “Bill” Denbrough - book!Bill
11
Writes horror stories cause he loves psychological analyzation
He prefers to face his fears rather than “escape” from them, causing tension between he and Anselm with how they deal with Georgie’s death
Georgie Denbrough - there is only one Georgie as he literally only exists for like one chapter
Loves his brothers
Dead as fuck, sorry
Stuttering seems to be a family trait during childhood in the Denbrough family that Anselm and Bill are afflicted with, though Bill much more than his older bother. (Isaac also starts stuttering young, which is suspected to be more psychological.) This trait skipped a generation, and thus the Denbrough parents don’t really know enough about how to deal with their sons’ disability.
They’re a very creative family, usually in terms of creative writing, though they’re also pretty skilled in the art department. Sharon Denbrough is a skilled pianist and taught Isaac until recently. The family was never very close, and Bill always had a rocky relationship with his parents, but the family fell apart after the death of Georgie. Isaac and Bill found themselves practically ignored, while Anselm was pretty much yelled at for trying to fix everything. The brothers only managed to maintain their relationship by trying to avenge Georgie by killing this fucking clown.
The Hanscom Boys
Desmond “Des” Hanscom - film!Ben
13
Would like to go into Investigative Journalism, though he’s also really into Local Histories
Tends to be afraid of the concept of death more than anything else
Has a lot of social anxiety
Auster Hanscom - miniseries!Ben
12
Super into all forms of writing but mostly poetry, which he loves and kinda obsesses over
Was most affected by not having a father figure around, as Des and Ben didn’t seem to mind
Assumed he was straight for a while but is probably demi
Benjamin “Ben” Hanscom - book!Ben
11
The Architect, and his love of blueprints and planning has made him the main strategist of the Losers Club
He really doesn’t have many psychological demons so his worst fear is just the mummy he saw in a movie too late at night
Pure baby
The Hanscoms’ father left the family when Arlene was still pregnant with Ben; while the boys never understood why, they sometimes speculate about secret missions, one or both of their parents cheating, government conspiracies, etc. Des and Ben never really minded, as Des was quite the introvert and Ben was close with their mom, but Auster really wished they could have a paternal figure, especially since the boys tend to be shunned for their genetic overweight appearance and he really wished for some kind of acceptance.
The move to Derry was recent, as Arlene managed to find a higher-paying job that could help her support her boys. Ben managed to get himself in trouble with the Bowers Gang, meaning that his brothers, defensive of him, also became targets. But they manage to find friends in the Losers Club, and with the whole gang together, nobody’s going to be able to hurt them... right?
The Marsh Girls
Karen “Karrie” Marsh - film!Bev
13
Hates her name, thinks it sounds like a middle-aged mom. Goes by Karrie which she thinks sounds cooler (and serves as another Stephen King reference)
Wants to do movie stunts as an adult, is the most daring and bold of the Losers Club, and also probably the physically strongest
Intensely protective of her sisters, especially due to their home situation
Brooke Marsh - miniseries!Bev
12
The sweetest little angel you will ever meet. Has never done anything wrong in her life
Wants to be a painter and is very artistic. Karrie has shoplifted her paint supplies before
The only one of her sisters to not smoke, as they refuse to let her near cigarettes
Beverly “Bev” Marsh - book!Bev
11
Technically the half-sister (stepsister?) of her older sisters, and can tell that her Mom doesn’t seem to care for her sisters much. She loves them, though, and won’t stand for people insulting them
Quite the fashion designer, and even though the family is poor, she’s been making sure they don’t look like shit since she could choose her own clothes
Probably the most manipulative of the Losers, though this has its advantages, such as when they need to get out of trouble.
Giant Lesbian, definitely marries Kay McCall
Karrie and Brooke have lived under the hate of their father for a while, due to the fact that he blames them for their mother’s death; Karrie brought home a virus from daycare that infected their mother, weakening her enough that labor with Brooke killed her. Karrie tends to get the most shit for this, mainly because Brooke gets along more with their stepmother, Elfrida. Elfrida married their father only a few months following their mother’s death, mainly due to the fact that Al got her pregnant. The family is quite poor, and the parents work quite a lot, meaning the sisters have gotten pretty good at fending for themselves.
Recently, the girls have started to get more fears about their father than just physical abuse- he’s been acting weird around Karrie and Bev, and while Brooke seems to avoid his eye for the time being, she has been quite hurt by his violent outbursts. Karrie’s secretly been saving up to take her sisters away before he can do anything to them, though she’s not sure how to tell Brooke and Bev, as they don’t even understand what they’re supposed to be afraid of. But while they’re in Derry, they end up finding themselves among the Losers Club, on a mission to save the children of the town by killing a monster that lives in the sewers. That won’t be much of a problem; they have much worse monsters at home.
The Kaspbrak Boys
Chase Kaspbrak - film!Eddie
13
Somehow simultaneously the most paranoid and most reckless boy in the world
He’s really into analysis and predicting events
Can and Will fight you, but he will be bitching about it the entire time
Otto Kaspbrak - miniserires!Eddie
11, Eddie’s older twin
Incredibly stubborn and snarky, but also the most loyal Loser and the most sincere
Has an interest in mechanics and repair, and when his mom’s not looking he’ll take things apart to find out how they work
Edward “Eddie” Kaspbrak - book!Eddie
11, Otto’s younger twin
Very adaptable and adventurous, though he has a lot of anxiety at times
Special Interest in cars, wants to be a driver as an adult
Able to find direction no matter where they are, and his gift of coordination has helped the Losers numerous times
There will absolutely be a car chase scene where he has to drive
Chase is the only Kaspbrak who really remembers their father, being seven when he died instead of his brothers’ five. He seems to recall them not being so sick back then, though his Mother claims otherwise, and their father being a good, playful man. But he’s not here now, and their mother, Sonia, is paranoid about everything. Her boys are very weak and sick and can’t do much, and she hates that they have such rough, rude friends that must be corrupting them somehow.
The boys, however, are much more adventurous and capable than Sonia believes- especially Chase, who has actually won more than one fight, mostly on behalf of his brothers. As the eldest, Chase believes he has to protect Otto and Eddie, whether it be from a bunch of school bullies, a killer clown in the sewers, or their own mother. Also, Chase and Eddie are gay as hell and Otto is demi-gay as fuck.
The Hanlon Boys
Daniel “Danny” Hanlon - film!Mike
14, the oldest of the Losers
He’s actually the cousin of Orel and Mike; he recently moved in with his aunt and uncle after the death of his parents in a house fire. He’s pretty traumatized from the incident
Wants more than anything to travel and explore the world, meet new people and see everything there is to see, and being stuck in boring, bigoted Derry is pretty much hell for him
He is very protective of his cousins and friends, though, and is the one who believes the most in their ability to triumph over Pennywise
Orel Hanlon - miniseries!Mike
12
Incredibly excitable and very optimistic, as well as incredibly bookish. As such, he tends to infodump whether people want to hear him or not
Super into cartography, and collects old, antique maps as well as making his own pretty much wherever they go
Really into gruesome horror stuff and doesn’t understand why it scares and/or grosses out other people.
Michael “Mike” Hanlon - book!Mike
11
Incredibly watchful and steadfast, and the Loser with perhaps the most emotional stability
He’s a lil Historian whose greatest desire is to work for the library and get to read as many books as he wants
Just. really fucking loves his dog
Orel and Mike don’t go into town much, mainly staying on their farm with their loving parents and spending their time with the farm animals; Mike is closest to their watchdog, but Orel loves being among the sheep. In the last few months, their cousin Danny moved in with them, and their relationship is... a bit awkward. Orel is too blunt and Mike is too curious, and they don’t know how to carefully approach the subject of his parents burning to death in front of him without making him feel worse.
It doesn’t help that Danny hates Derry; it’s bigoted, it’s tiny, it’s in the middle of nowhere, and people are dying left and right. However, once his cousins convince him to come hang out with their friends, he ends up bonding with the other Losers of the town, even though they’re all a bunch of weird white kids. And though the Hanlons don’t deal much with town business, they’re ready to join in the fight to stop Pennywise from killing anyone else.
The Tozier Triplets
Reynard “Reynie” Tozier - film!Richie
12, the firstborn of the triplets
Loudmouthed, rude, impulsive and very crass, mainly to hide his crippling self-doubt and fears of being ostracized
Super good at video games and says he wants to be a professional gamer, though honestly he’s just really interested in stand-up comedy
Gay as all fuck
Roderick “Rod” Tozier - minseries!Richie
12, the middle of the triplets
While he’s just as hyperactive as his triplets, he’s a bit more controlled and actually the least raunchy, meaning Reynie and Richie joke that he’s not using his name correctly
Wants to be a voice actor for cartoons like Looney Tunes, and is actually getting decent at impersonating the RoadRunner.
Richard “Richie” Tozier - book!Richie
12, the youngest of the triplets
Pretty wild and uncontrollable, energized as all hell, and makes off-color jokes to piss people off and get attention, though he does have a true heart for his friends
Wants to have his own radio show in the future. Was the first to befriend the Marsh girls, because he and Bev would share cigarettes during recess
Bi as all fuck
The Tozier triplets are a trio of ADHD disasters and nobody in Derry can or will ever forget it. Reynie and Rod tend to “big brother” Richie, meaning they tend to end up slapping him upside the head for saying something insensitive, though sometimes Reynie says something a bit too impulsively as well. They used to do different voices to entertain each other, meaning it’s a bit of an interest for all of them. While Reynie tends to lean more towards comedy, though, Rod wants to be a voice actor for cartoons like Looney Tunes, and Richie hopes to be some kind of radio personality.
Their parents mean well but are often at work, and even at home they don’t quite understand their boys, so the triplets are pretty used to relying on each other. Reynie kinda has the least parental affection, as Rod and Richie tend to get into even more shit than he does, so he kinda falls to the wayside. His isolation tends to manifest in fears of abandonment and loneliness- and a public outing resulting in such, starting when he started to realize that he maybe didn’t like girls as much as he said he did. Rod and Richie, meanwhile, also have vague fears of outing, though Pennywise represents their bisexuality as werewolfism- always transforming in painful and terrifying ways.
The Uris Boys
Mason Uris - film!Stan
13
Very cautious, but definitely not the Mom friend; he will inform you how shitty your idea is, but will not stop you, and in fact will grab popcorn to watch
Loves studying art history and different art forms, though he doesn’t want to create them himself, just catalogue them. He likes to entertain Isaac and Brooke by “critiquing” their “fabulous” artwork
The only one of his siblings who doesn’t get along with their parents
Peter Uris - miniseries!Stan
12, almost 13
Incredibly logical and has the most anxiety. Is the last one to believe in the clown just because it doesn’t fit into his worldview
While all the boys love birdwatching, he’s the one who’d like to go into it as a profession; he loves ornithology and wants to study birds for the rest of his life
Stanley “Stan” Uris - book!Stan
11
Loves to have things in order, and doesn’t really know how to interact with people socially, because people don’t act in predictable ways.
Super good at mathematics and hopes to be an engineer or accountant
Has the weirdest sense of humor, which means he is the best
The Urises are one of the few Jewish families in town, and in a bigoted town like Derry, that means they were pretty much outcasted from the getgo. They are all relatively close with each other, in that they’ll argue nonstop but also would die for each other without question. Peter and Stan probably get along the best, as they’ll sit and talk about birds until they pass out, while Mason likes to sit in his room and read his books on famous artists. Mason also has a bit more of a strained relationship with his parents, while his brothers get along with them much better.
The boys refused to believe in Pennywise for the longest time, as they’re all very logical and orderly and “magic alien clown eating kids by turning into their fears” doesn’t exactly fit into their normal worldview. But they’re going to stick by their friends and do their best to protect themselves and the town... and, well, if the way to kill the clown is by bullying him to death, they have a shitton of insults they’ve been saving for a special occasion.
