You know what? It makes complete sense for supervillains to live on volcanic islands.

It makes sense for a lot of reasons, even if there is the possibility of eruption. First off, it's isolated. No kids are going to be sneaking onto the premises on a dare, trying to see what's in your huge secretive building. Second, your huge superweapon will, in all likelihood, need a LOT of energy. And to get this energy, you would ideally want it to be entirely off grid and not needing fuel delivered, both of which could easily raise suspicion as to what it's needed for. So, how do you solve this issue? Geothermal power! And what's an enormous, ready source of this power? A volcano! Put some generators there, and boom! Lots of energy. Third, there's easy cooling for all of your machines via the seawater. pump it through the walls, and you have no issues there. Even if there is the issue of a possible eruption, you can have your base coated in a heatproof material, such as the kinds of tiles used for spacecraft, and insulators. If you have the right equipment, you could easily detect an eruption hours before it actually occurs. Overall, it's not, in fact, a stupid thing done just for the looks. It's a practical solution to multiple possible issues that could occur, and makes complete sense.

I think it's really funny that Ace literally tried to kill 3 little girls, stole from stores and banks, then tried to take over Townsville on many occasions, but everyone is mad at him cause he took advantage of Buttercup

For me, my favorite match ups are probably

Shrek vs Jason (Fun, close enough to go either way, lots of genuine potential for emotion. Obviously in a swamp)

Superman vs goku SPECIFICALLY in a tournament of power type fight

Mario vs Spiderman (just a really fun fight, give mario all his power ups and it's pretty fair- do it in Manhattan for a blast of a battle)

The avengers vs the justice league (a fucking classic, No real actual awnser possible but it's just so fun)

Solid snake vs captain America (incredibly close thematically and in power, plenty of potential for drama.)

As the only other battle border on this god forsaken website, what's your favorite match up?

As far as mainstream match-ups go, Cole MacGrath vs Alex Mercer is far and away my favorite, just because it involves too of my all time faves beating the hell out of each other. That up coming Death Battle episode has me hyped, even if I feel Cole stomps.

Outside of that, I actually have quite a few. Simon the Digger vs Kyle Rayner, Agent 47 vs Captain Rex, The Terrarian vs The Hunter (Bloodborne), John Egbert vs Thor, Alucard vs Alex Mercer, Alucard vs Bigby Wolf, Frisk vs Niko, Gamzee Makara vs Tricky the Clown, Steven Universe vs Mark Grayson, and MSPA Reader vs Oz (Monster Prom). Sadly, though, most of those are stomps one way or another but that goes for nearly every vs match depending on who you ask.

imagine hero and villan teaming up against supervillan; they go to their house to get info, but Supervillan comes home too early, so they hide in the nearest.. and also smallest place in the house: the closet.

Supervillan's closet was small and cramped, leaving them face-to-face with a lack of room to move. Hero's cheek brushed against Villain's nose, close enough for him to feel the villain's breath on his face as they giggled.

"Never figured you were this much of a cuddler." Villan snorted, their back stiff against the closet wall.

The Hero was not amused by this whatsoever, matter of fact, they were irritated being face to face with their very annoying enemy.

"Please.. Villan.. just.. shut the fuck up for once, now is not the time."

"I know you don't like it when people touch you, but I'm just being friendly. We're probably going to be pressed against each other for a while, heh. Might as well get to know me a bit."

"Villan, I'm going to say this once more.. Shut. the. fuck. up. I'm warning you." They grimaced in fear and mild embarrassment.

Viillan sits in silence, their lips pursed.

"..Whatcha gonna do if I don't?"

Suddenly, hero's hand lightly slapped Villain's cheek, causing Villain to jolt back as if someone had zapped them with an electric shock.

"Sorry, jeez."

"Do you want Supervillan to hear us?" Hero began, through gritted teeth "Because that's exactly what's going to happen if you don't--"

All of a sudden, the doorknob turned as the door cracked open.
