imagine hero and villan teaming up against supervillan; they go to their house to get info, but Supervillan comes home too early, so they hide in the nearest.. and also smallest place in the house: the closet.
----
Supervillan's closet was small and cramped, leaving them face-to-face with a lack of room to move. Hero's cheek brushed against Villain's nose, close enough for him to feel the villain's breath on his face as they giggled.
"Never figured you were this much of a cuddler." Villan snorted, their back stiff against the closet wall.
The Hero was not amused by this whatsoever, matter of fact, they were irritated being face to face with their very annoying enemy.
"Please.. Villan.. just.. shut the fuck up for once, now is not the time."
"I know you don't like it when people touch you, but I'm just being friendly. We're probably going to be pressed against each other for a while, heh. Might as well get to know me a bit."
"Villan, I'm going to say this once more.. Shut. the. fuck. up. I'm warning you." They grimaced in fear and mild embarrassment.
Viillan sits in silence, their lips pursed.
"..Whatcha gonna do if I don't?"
Suddenly, hero's hand lightly slapped Villain's cheek, causing Villain to jolt back as if someone had zapped them with an electric shock.
"Sorry, jeez."
"Do you want Supervillan to hear us?" Hero began, through gritted teeth "Because that's exactly what's going to happen if you don't--"
All of a sudden, the doorknob turned as the door cracked open.

If Mustard stayed relevant, how would you characterize him? I mean things past his baseline "pragmatic psycho" thing he has going on.
Interesting question, as I do agree that Mustard would need more things personality wise to work with if he's going to be a more long term character.
At first he's indeed very pragmatic, especially compared to the rest of the league and his implied age being probably the youngest even behind Toga.
But as pragmatic he can be he's still a child with an inmature side, and we can see that when he gets angry at Tetsutetsu and can't help himself but act less carefully and being a bit overcondident. He also seems to destile some represed anger on what he considers an easy target.
I would like to explore more that side of him, as Mustard seems to be very resentful against the education system for some reason, maybe is his "villanous" quirk that left him without the opportunity of being a hero? Who knows, but his dialogue can be interpreted as he wants something about hero schools and hates the ones who have the privilege of go to UA for example.
Other thing I would do with Mustard is explore the idea of him not fitting with the LoV.
Because let's be real, he doesn't fit there at all. His style and approach to crime sooner or later will clash with the rest of the members, especially Shigaraki at that point of the story and I can't see Mustard taking his bs once AFO is out of the picture and crusty boy has to lead.
Mustard might be a child but probably he has more clear ideas than the rest of the LoV and once the initial hype for shooting people and do random chaos he would think Shigaraki ideas of destroy everything are worthless crap, so he obviously will aim for better objetives.
I can imagine Mu having a bit of superiority complex and leaving the LoV for look better oppotunities with people who can aspire to bigger plans. Probably the Shie Hassaikai following the canon timeline.
But also, I would like give Mustard a more vulnerable and human side outside being just a gunnuts.
The fact he's a child in a world of crime and danger might have more downsides for him than he initialy realizes.
Tumblr media
I can see Mustard sometimes feeling alone and out of place next to a lot of people way older than him.
He might want to have friends of his age like a normal child would do, even if he tries to negate that idea.
Also where is his family? Mustard would likely want to have a place to call home and feel loved, despite tries to convince himself to no need such basic things.
That's what I can think for now. Mustard had a really cool concept to imagine scenarios if he stayed as a recurrent character.

Ramabanam movie review...
It's a 2023 tollywood movie
Like many people I saw the trailer and thaught it's same as the old telugu native movies which work on family sentiments where the villan tries to hurt the hero's brother who obviously is innocent and then the hero fights for him and at the end finishes the villan and all his side kicks.
In this movie the male lead, Vicky is a violent man, his idealogy is, "YOU HAVE TO FIGHT FOR YOUR SURVIVAL" but his brother Rajaram, is exactly opposite to him as he believes in non-voilence mode of fighting. Both of them get into a problem with a villain named GK who has a food business in which he makes all the adulterated products. Rajaram was against this and later even Vicky turns against this and at the end both of them win the court case against the villain and live happily ever after with their family, his wife, the female lead Bhiravi and their restaurant without any adulteration in food and relationships.
The fights, the bgm were okay. Though the sentiments and emotions were routine, the point they bought out was good as still there are many companies which supply chemicals in the name of organic and good food.
The name suited the movie as Ram and Lakshman are brothers in Ramayana just like the brothers in the movie. I watched it today on Netflix and enjoyed it not so much but the dialogues in the climax court scene will definitely make you think about what you are eating daily.
#not so unique
#one time watchable
#good message to the audience

For your requests, could I perhaps ask for some Hero/Villain wherein they're just kind of being playful and cute together in a teashop somewhere [in civilian identity] when the sidekick comes in. Sidekick who knows both of their faces, one due to being friends and one due to like catching a glimpse the other night or something. Whether the hero and villain recognise each other in civilian form is up to you.
Sorry this took forever to write! I was busy with school and I was going to sit down and write it this weekend and then I came down with a fever of a 103 degrees and a massive headache. It’s hard to do anything, really, when you barely have enough energy to eat and when walking, you fell down because you were so dizzy :(  I hope this is what you’re looking for!
“Mmhp!” the hero winced, their scalding drink burning their mouth. They didn’t even like tea. Why had they chosen to come to a teashop of all places?
A quiet giggle interrupted their thoughts. The villain sipped their drink, eyes alight with an emotion that made the hero’s heart twist.
Right. The villain loved tea. Date night.
The things the hero did to make them happy….
“Enjoying your drink?”
“Hush. I love it.”
“Mhmm,” the villain said. “Look at me, darling. It’s hard to draw when your model won’t look at you.”
The hero looked at the creamy, white paper with a pencil sketch of them on it. They blushed. “Why - uh. Why are you drawing me again?”
Their lover quirked an eyebrow. “I find you very attractive.”
“Funny, here I thought I was your enemy.”
“Only in costume, hun. But if you’d rather fight than have Date Night..” the villain shrugged.
The hero grinned like a vixen. “Oh, I think you know what I’d rather be doing right now instead of Date Night…”
“You’re adorable,” their lover said, rolling their eyes.
The hero laughed, bright and lovely. “Don’t say that in public! What if someone heard you? I’ll never be taken seriously again.”
“You act like you’re taken seriously now.”
“That’s an insult. I’m leaving.”
“And where will you go?”
“Somewhere far, far away,” the hero said, rising from their chair. “Away from your rudeness and comebacks.”
“Yeah, right. You can’t stand to be away from me for more than five minutes.”
“I’m serious,” the hero insisted, arms thrown out. They walked to the door, struggling to keep their mouth in a straight line. “I’m leaving. I’m gone.”
The bells rang as they opened and closed the door, stepping outside into the warm sunlight, the sound of the villain’s fading laughter a blessing to their ears. They tilted their face to the sky, savoring the heat.
They didn’t notice the hand creeping up to grab theirs.
It pulled them into the backseat of a car, painted a paling, once vibrant, blue and parked right outside the shop. Stained brown leather seats were ripped, the floor littered with empty red soda cans and french fry holders, and the entire thing smelled of gasoline and fast food. This car was as familiar as the sound of the villain’s voice.
“What the hell?” they asked the sidekick, stopping their elbow from slamming into their best friend’s nose. “Why can’t you just call like a normal person?”
The sidekick didn’t laugh for once, but looked unusually serious. The curve of their eyebrows were drawn together and their mouth was set into a hard frown. Their eyes looked troubled, a little scared, and their hands gripped both of the hero’s biceps painfully.
“What the hell are you doing?” they hissed. “Don’t tell me you’re on a date, God, please.”
Wrenching their arms away, the hero said, “I am! That’s my significant other, the one I was telling you about.”
Dread twisted the sidekick’s face, and they ran a hand down their face. “I knew - I know who they - ugh… Do you have any idea who they even are?”
The hero said the sidekick’s name. “What in the Sam Hill are you blabbering about now?”
“You really have the worst taste in partners,” they glared. They hesitated, like they didn’t want to say what had to be said. “You’re dating [Villain]. That’s your enemy, who’s come out of the shop looking for you.”
Oh.
“Oh.”
Oh shit.
“Oh? That’s all you have to say? Oh? I said you’re dating [Villain]! You’re dating your enemy! I saw them yesterday, taking off their mask - and, and - and why the hell are you not surprised? Disgusted, at the most?”
They laughed nervously. “Listen, [Sidekick], I’m not sure how to break this to you…”

Jade. The fate of female character in Mortal Kombat
It’s been a while since I posted anything on my blog cause I’ve been busy with my life and rapid changes in it. During this time, I’ve watched the new 2021 Mortal Kombat movie as well as the new animation Battle of the realms and also rewatched the Story Mode of MK11 a few times. As you probably can tell, I have a lot to say.
JADE. MILEENA. KITANA. SONYA.
Tumblr media
Skip this if you don’t want to read my very important (and long as sh*t) rant about female characters in MK.
DISCLAIMER. This thing is going to sound extremely feminist and women-supremacist or whatever. By saying things that I’m going to say, I by no means think that male characters should be weak or lacking. If anything, it would be nice to have some godforsaken EQUALITY. I’ll explain further later.
Part One: Mortal Kombat (2021)
There’s no Jade in this movie.
The end. That should be the sole reason I dislike it.
However, it might be better this way since the Nitara and Mileena portrayals in this movie are... questionable to say the least. Okay, y’all been robbed. If MY JADE would be brought into this movie to BE THERE for like 4 minutes of screen time only to get absolutely brutal FATALITY I. would. be. pissed.
Tumblr media
More than I already am and that means something.
Sure, there’s a possibility that she’s going to be present in some of the upcoming movies because this one is definitely not the only one they’re going to make. But do I want that? Yes. And no.
Mortal Kombat movies (and Mortal Kombat in general) have a problem with women portrayal in general. The target audience for them are MEN, potentially heterosexual men, who want nothing more than bloody gorey fighting scenes with occasional sex scene here and there. To achieve that, they need a female lead, an attractive, kinda kick-assish but not too much, to not overshadow the absolutely badass men characters. Girls tend to be “independent” (because God forbid they’d want to express interest in the male leads before the time is right), sarcastic, laid back and sometimes even bitchy. Because, you see, they are fighters. And they are Sonya Blade. They need NO MAN. They just need plot armor, bigger than America itself. And if they’re not Sonya Blade, they are... non existent. They are there, but they are never really there. Here, let me walk on screen for a couple seconds. Let me sit beside Very Important Male Character (aka Shang Tsung) for a couple of seconds, looking absolutely gorgeous. Let me have a fight scene in which I make choices so f*cking stupid there’s no potential explanation to it. I exist in this movie to make people that love me (this character) to come into theatres in hopes to see some good action and interesting plot.
Tumblr media
Now, I wasn’t born yesterday, I know how the world works. It’S bEeN LiKe ThAt FoReVeR, gEt OvEr here iT. Yeah, it’s been like that forever and the result is a mediocre movie that pleases neither the casual viewer, nor the actual Mortal Kombat fan. I don’t know, there might be guys who just saw Kung Lao’s fatality on Nitara, thought to themselves “Neat” and went on with their lives. But I exited the cinema with a sour taste in my mouth, feeling like I’ve watched one of the “fighting genre” films based on video games that had nothing worth remembering. Well, besides Kano. He was my favourite part of this movie and I  normally can’t stand the guy :’D
Would it really help if they changed the way the women were portrayed? I mean - is that the ACTUAL problem of the movie? No, women being the eye candy and barely something else (if they’re not Sonya Blade) are not the only problem it suffers from. It’s that MK has been going the same route, retelling the same goddamn story for the millionth time. It’s always THE SAME. The only thing changing is who’s gonna get brutally killed. But - of course - out of the “disposable” character pool. It’s never Sonya (because you need our female lead or else there would be no female characters in the story), who ya know could be killed by Mileena but magically WASN’T. Because Mileena FOR SOME REASON was like: Ya know what? Naaah. Even though Sonya’s from Earthrealm and is actively trying to stop you. If anything, kill her because she annoys you. BUT NAH. It’s never Liu Kang because he’s the Chosen One. But killing Kung Lao is fine, he can die so Liu can awaken or smth. It’s not the main character because how else can you portray THE MAGIC OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP? Ya, that’s what I thought, don’t even think about it.
You have an amazing universe, filled to the brim with SO. MUCH. POTENTIAL. Let go of the same boring plot line and show us Kombat from another perspective. Change something. F*ck, go all feminist route and make a story center around Mileena dominating the world. Try with different versions of the same story, making it center around different character each time.
SURE, YOU’LL PROBABLY LOSE SOME VIEWERS BUT TIMES ARE CHANGING, AND MOST OF US ARE TIRED TO PAY FOR THE SAME STORY OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Part Two: Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms
Jesus f*cking Christ.
Tumblr media
To say this film was rushed is an understatement. While I was watching it, I was like: TF? Everything happens all at once, we have Kuai Liang-Scorpion story line, we have Outworld’s attack, the tournament, not to mention the final fight that should be whole another movie. I felt like no story line was properly laid out, some of the characters died before I got to even know them and the battles were... disappointing. I believe they needed to push this movie out so they squished in everything they had and just went with it.
But, again, this movie just repeats the same things as its live action version. Let me lay it down for you:
Kung Lao dies (because yes)
Sonya Blade lives (because yes)
Jade is just there (more of it later)
disposable characters are disposed of
Liu Kang is badass and always wins
You watch it and feel like you’ve already seen it before. Sure, gore is fine, human Raiden is precious and need to be protected at all costs and adrenaline is pumping (I guess).
BUT NOW.
You know what’s coming.
Tumblr media
JADE.
JADE.
My f*cking piece of sunshine, the gorgeous goddess of beauty and kombat, the woman who owns my heart.
She’s there for like not even a minute.
Words can’t describe how f*cking PISSED I am by this portrayal. These motherfrickers put her in EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE SNIPPET OF THIS MOVIE. HER BATTLE WAS IN THE TRAILER, ONE OF THE SNEAK PEEKS WAS A SCENE OF HER AND KITANA.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
TURNS OUT EVERYTHING I SAW BEFORE THE MOVIE WAS RELEASED... WAS EVERYTHING I WAS ABOUT TO SEE OF HER!!!!
THEY MADE ME HYPED UP FOR NOTHING!!!!!!
I know I’m not the only one riding this trolley. Li Mei was there just to be killed. Kung Lao had a f*cking single dialogue line and then BAM, fatality, buh-bye. But I was watching everything of this movie, being so enormously happy that I will finally see Jade in the movies, FINALLY! Only for her to be present in a single scene, get her ass kicked by Liu Kang (what’s new) and then she’s never seen again, even when the whole f*cking world is breaking apart.
Again. She’s just there. Ladies and gentlemen, one of the best Shao Kahn’s assassins, gets her ass kicked in fourty seconds. They NEVER let her speak ffs. She just spews some general villanous sh*t and proceeds to step on Johnny. Then, she just goes Observer mode as Kitana “betrays” Shao Kahn, gets tied to the column and then the world is ending.
WHERE THE F*CK IS SHE?!
If you hype me up for her every chance you get, at least GIVE ME what you’re advertising. This is a scam. This is criminal offense. And homophobic. She is more than a revealing outfit and Liu Kang’s punching bag. I’m SO. F*CKING. TIRED. OF THIS. SH*T.
Tumblr media
Kitana. The rebellious princess of Outworld... turned damsel in distress in this movie. Her role is so effing bad it hurts me to my core. You see her as a general being so badass and independent... oh right, we need Liu Kang to save her because he needs to maintain his hero look. And we need two kissing scenes. How do we get there? Oh, right, let him save her, because you know - that’s what makes wahmen kiss you.
ARE YOU NUTS?!
The movie started just fine, with Kitana being in charge with her right hand, Jade. Then, obviously, they water her down and soon she is a princess in a tower (in this case, princess on a column) that needs her buffy sexy man to save her. Oh, and she can’t resist him - you know, every normal girl’s reaction to getting untied is to kiss a guy you’ve known for like a few hours but seen before and you’ve talked like three dialogue lines in total. Sure.
Kitana just gets the unfortunate role of a female main character. She’s Liu’s love interest and that makes her take the role of a strong (but surface level, only) woman who still needs her hero to free her. Classic damsel in distress story, with Kitana being the princess, Liu being the Prince charming and Shao Kahn as the dragon (lul). Of course, they try to cover this up by making Kitana a general, letting her win a few fights but it won’t matter in the end. Some say that women want to believe in fairy tales but the more I see fighting games’ lore, the more I say it’s the men who want to believe them.
Is it necessarily bad? No. But it’s boring as fuk.
I would like to ask the directors to stop being so afraid of upsetting the target audience. Target audience can change and sometimes it comes out better than originally planned. My Little Pony was designed as a child’s cartoon but it was the creepy men who made it reach the top. Morally? Questionable at best. But business is booming, right? And that’s what they care for, right?
All I’m trying to say is these days women and gays are the future.
Thank you for today, more to come. I’m going to rant about the Story Mode.

Interesting case of Jevil and Spade King
Tumblr media
I’m gonna face it - my experience with the fandom might be very subjective. Yet I found unequal dispersion in how people treat these two characters despite them being in the same position! Both characters:
- Are speculated to only have turned bad after outside influence: >  “Abandoned by the Lightners, his heart became cracked with hatred” - for the Spade King, from dialogue box info; “One day, he met a strange someone... and since then, he began to change. He started saying bizarre things that didn't completely make sense- But didn't completely not make sense, either” - for Jevil, by Seam.
- Are unambigiously evil - Spade King is a tyrant that will not stop at using his own son as a bait, Jevil is a person deadass locked away because he wanted to murder people for fun.
- Are referred in ambigious light by people close to them - Rouxls seems to respect or dislike the King depending on how successful Heroes of the Light are; Seam says that Jevil might be a friend but might also be not and entrertains the idea of Heroes of Light beating the shit out of him.
- Both are non-conveniently attractive characters, visually (nuff said)
Yet I always
ALWAYS
ALWAYS
See people treat Jevil as ‘poor brainwashed baby that just wanted love’ and Spade King as ‘terrible abuser, and by the way if you like him - you condone child abuse in real life :/’. I might be missing a giant fraction of Spade King simps and/or giant fraction of Jevil haters, sure, but so far it looks like unequal dispersion for me. My closest guess for the reasons for unconsistency are:
- Jevil is more visually appealing and interesting (he is a clown ffs!), whereas Spade King is, visual design vice, just a ‘bigger Lancer’
- Spade King is shown, on screen, to be fucking mean (using Lancer as a bait), but Jevil, being a murderous psycho he is, is only MENTIONED to be bad, so we do not feel the true effect of his wrongdoings
- Jevil creates impression of manic villain + his music theme is incredibly good, whereas Spade King is clearly a depressed villain + his theme is a banger too, but a mediocre one. Basically, Jevil has more positive energy than the King, whereas both characters are indeed, villanous
I think these 3 points is where the coin flips, and where people feel justified to say that ‘Jevil is poor broken brainwashed baby but Spade King is ultimate evil that could never change and should lose Lancer for good!’. But I’d actually like to hear opinions of people more active in the fandom on whether it is the case overall, and if it is - what might have been the reason of people ‘forgiving’ Jevil but hating Spade King! I just thing this situation is interesting on it’s own to analyze!

Do you have a favorite villian or villians? What about them did you like? Motives? Backstory? Personality, or their character in general?
Dr. Doofenshmirtz (Phineas and Ferb). Amazing backstory, a good guy trying to pretend to be evil, and well-written dynamic with his nemesis, Perry the platypus.
Megamind (Megamind). Subversion of a “villain” character, an exploration of “nature v.s. nurture”, Will Ferrell did great with his casting, and again. Good guy pretending to be evil.
Capitan Chantel Du Bois (Madagascar 3). She’s plain crazy and supernaturally gifted in the skill of pursuit of animals. Absolutely off-hinge and I love her theme song and character design.
Lord Dominator (Wander over yonder). Holy shit, the motive is just plain cruel and sadistic, amazing song, energetic character. Love her.
Basically everyone in Villanous. Great designs, and amazing character chemistry.
Plankton (Spongebob). Good guy pretending to be evil and sometimes succeeding. He’s just kinda lonely. I also love his voice and his song in the musical.
Pinky Suavo?? (PatB) He counts right? I know a lot of people fear him, and I know he existed, but like... I don’t remember the episode at all. Eh, we’re counting it.
Bill Cipher (Gravity falls) Amazing voice our, great energy, unhinged character, crazy strong, cleverly executed downfall. Also, you gotta love his laugh.
Syndrome (Incredibles). The hero makes the villain is well executed, I enjoy his intertwined backstory with Bob. Crazy smart and he kinda wins at the end.
Buzzo (Lisa RPG). A foil and reflection of Brad, though Sticky Angonelli is a better foil. HE BRINGS CONSEQUENCES. His motive and redemption are fairly well done. Gotta love his laugh. Misguided character.
Flowey (Undertale). Crazy bastard flower. AMAZING backstory, and understandable reason for his slip into insanity. He is great in every route. Genuinely surprised me in the genocide route with his dialogue. Misguided character.
Joker (Joker 2019 and the Dark knight specifically). Backstory in 2019 was a whole rollercoaster and I love the way it’s directed so that Arthur is an unreliable narrator and we have to take his perception of “reality” with a grain of salt. Dark knight, amazing dynamic with Batman. Kinda proves his point at the end. Both win in a sense. The actors were both amazing and I love the designs for both of them.
Harley Quinn (DC) Literally anywhere she’s in. Misguided character, a good person pretending to or was led to being evil. She’s got a sense of morality, badass empowerment storyline, and great dynamic with Batman, Poison Ivy, and Nightwing/robin.
Disney villains. Literally, that could be a list on its own, but I do really like Scar, Ursula, Captain hook, Clayton, Judge Claude Frollo, etc.
And that’s all I can think of for right now.

I think what gets people about Hawks is he’s a planner- and we’re so used to merely reacting heros. There’s always the chance when you strike first that you’ll strike wrong, but the alternative is waiting until it’s too late. And isn’t that one of the huge issues people have with heros? That they were too slow and didn’t save someone who needed it? Hawks is ruthless and it’s terrifying to be on the receiving end if that. But he’s been the hero a lot of people needed
Oh my god, this.....this is a really good interpretation of him. I really like how you think of Hawks! I’ve never really thought of it that way.
I’m gonna ramble about this ask for a while, so I’ll try to put a brief answer above the read more cut. I love how you pointed out what people need/expect from heroes in terms of how they respond. The consequences of a villain attack (property damage, casualties, displacement) are what gives fuel to criticism, and heroes can’t really excuse themselves from those results because those consequences are not to be taken lightly and heroes took on the responsibility of minimizing impact.
It’s the whole thing about “thoughts and prayers”. Pretty words after a tragedy don’t matter because they change nothing. What really matters is action—preventative measures. And that’s how Hawks approaches hero work. Preventing matters and quick resolutions to minimize impact.
And yes, Hawks’ kind of heroism is what people need in a general sense. Meticulous hard work focused around preventing villain attacks or stopping them as fast as possible. But the intensity with which Hawks goes about it is really scary—you’re right to call it ruthless. And that’s normally a good thing until you call morality into question.
I don’t really want to delve into whether his actions are right or wrong, because.....well, it’s complicated. You can’t slap a label on it. And in the high-stakes world of heroism, morality is a pretty ironic thing to emphasize. Heroes act for the “greater good”, but does that really give them the right to kill? And vice versa—is it okay to risk millions of lives for the sake of adhering to a wishy-washy ideal of no dead?
Let’s go with this: morality is meaningless. Life isn’t dictated by black and white—society is. What life is about is choices and consequences—what you choose to do and what happens because of it. (More on morality under the cut)
I tried to keep it short, but it’s still a pretty lengthy answer. Sorry about that. Anyway, under the read more I’m gonna go ramble because anon just ignited the analytics in my head. Maybe check it out, ‘cause I talk a little more about what I think of Hawks under the cut.
The difference between heroes who react (Endeavor, Miruko, etc.) versus heroes who plan (Hawks, Nighteye, etc.) isn’t something I really thought too much on. But that’s a really good way to look at heroes! In Nighteye’s case, I’d say the guy waits too much and he could possible have past incidents that would fit what you’re talking about—waiting too long until it’s too late. All Might could be interpreted as a mix of both, depending on how you look at it, but his “planning” is more an abstract ideal—establishing a Symbol of Peace that discourages crime rates.
Hawks NEVER waits. And that’s the reason why the PLF raid occurred with the heroes taking the INITIATIVE, a big contrast in comparison with other incidents in the manga. In regards to the Kamino Nightmare, UA took precautions but they fell through and the heroes reacted quickly against the LoV to get Bakugo back once they had sufficient data and forces. But later, we see this decision is touched on a little by the HPSC president when she talks about Hawks not being available for Kamino, and how heroes have been trailing after villains’ actions because no one has been doing enough intelligence gathering in advance.
Hero society isn’t doing enough to PREVENT villain attacks. And well, that’s a big bone to gnaw on.
We can talk about the very basics—preventing villains from being born in the first place. But that’s too expansive a task, and heroes/government can’t foresee or prevent everything. Not to mention how complicated implementing those measures will get when you start tangling with law. (If you’re from a massive country with a complicated lawmaking system and polarizing political parties, you’ll know what I mean.)
Then if we focus on something closer to immediate—say, intelligence gathering—that gets a little murky, too. Censorship, surveillance, regulatory laws—until where do we draw the line? When do we consider those preventative measures “oppression”? People will have different opinions of that, and that’ll result in debate and gridlock.
There’s also cultural issues—how do you mass edit a society’s perception of certain things?
We had the issue of “villanous quirks” brought up with Shinsou and Toga. Can you change everyone’s mindsets to regard quirks as a natural gene people can’t help but be born with? In contrast, at what point do you need to start considering the evil that could be done by a quirk on the basis of self-defense? (Think about it. If someone had a quirk that made you forget being under its influence, then how would you know when to change from trusting that person to questioning them for your own protection?)
We also have the issue of quirklessness with Midoriya and Melissa, though I don’t think it’s that complicated. How do you equalize quirks and no-quirks? In contrast, when do you need to discriminate? (It’s the dilemma of equality. Physical requirements for men and women differ because of natural differences in their makeup. It’s fair, but it’s not equal. A minor thing to point out, but you get the idea, right? If you want to take it up a notch, consider the notion of “equal opportunity”. In America, there’s a whole debate about how to raise disadvantaged groups to equal standing without compromising the ones who are already there. Especially in education. There’s this thing about “quotas” in college admissions—colleges can’t set aside a specific number of spots for disadvantaged groups because it will take away opportunities for the rest, but they can include those questions in their applications for a “holistic” process. However, it’s not a full fix. There’s still a disproportionate ratio of minority groups because it doesn’t take into account the minority background: growing up in unsafe/unequipped communities, lacking academic resources or education to compete with those of advantageous groups, family backgrounds that influence the kid’s education because of extra responsibilities, poverty, uneducated parents, cultural stigma, etc. It’s a huge, complex web of a problem that a small rule like that can’t fully encompass.)
Oh god, I got political. But you get what I mean. There’s too big of a mess that heroes/government won’t be able to address every single one of them. So, what they’ll need to do is figure out what they can do and implement it, or figure out which aspect/measure to focus energy and resources on first.
In regards to morality, I answered a previous ask about Hawks and said this:
Sacrificing another person’s life isn’t okay, period, because you never had the right/power to determine another person’s worth in the first place.
I still stick by that, but there’s something I want to make clear about what I think about Hawks. Hawks is free to choose the “wrong” decision. I’m not condoning or condemning him for it. Hell, I’m not even judging him. The way I read My Hero Academia is by watching the characters make their decisions and trying to understand what led to them. I feel like that’s something everyone should try out: just watching the characters, not judging them, but just trying to understand.
Again, morality means nothing. It’s just choices and consequences.
The thing about choices is, you should understand everything about them. And that’s what I want Hawks to build on. If he’s going to make a decision—especially a “wrong” one—then I want him to fully understand the weight of that choice. I feel like Hawks could be desensitized to the weight of life, and that’s what I’m worried about. Then again, we don’t really know a lot about what Hawks feels aside from his expressions and double-meaning dialogue. I could be wrong—Hawks could have a solid grasp on what taking a life means and feel somber remorse over it. But who knows? (I’ll love him even more than I do now if he does understand. God, I love this asshole of a bird.)
Basically, this is what I want Hawks’ approach to Twice’s death to be: it’s wrong, and he’s okay with it. He’ll willingly carry the weight of his choice so he can achieve his dream of a society without an excessive dependence on heroes.
That’s basically Hawks’ whole character. What is he willing to carry in order to achieve his goals? How far will he corrupt himself to get peace for everyone else? (Honestly, the martyr complex is hard with this guy hahaha!) I just want to make sure he seriously understands what he’s “corrupting” himself with.
Anyway, rambling’s over! Hahahaha, I literally switched from my phone to my iPad to the computer to answer this ask lol. And anon, thanks for dropping by!

Another story idea!
I thought of this one randomly, so feel free to edit it and take it as your own. Just try and tag me if possible.
So what if Patton was a dark side, and Virgil was originally a light side. And it's a superhero au...
And it's in media res (meaning the story starts at the beginning of the action) and a team of three are standing on a rooftop throwing out important information - like the stakes etc.
And then a figure emerges from the roof, and Roman stars needless hero dialogue. And then the villan speaks.
"Hi!!! How are you guys!?! I hope you're have a great day!" The figure says, clearly being Patton who doesn't look intimidating in the slightest. The others stand in shock.
"I baked you a pie!" Roman carely asked "Is it posioned."
"No apple."

i’m not disregarding the idea of a continuation
I really love that AU (for dynamics alone) and find it fascinating to write? If there is enough interest and I feel inspired I will continue it.
Tbh I always had a plan for another part mentally? Nines corrupting the Reader, most likely Connor & ruthless!Connor vs Nines AND WHO KNOWS WHICH SIDE THE READER WILL CHOOSE *wink*

“Give it back!”
The villain danced out of reach of the hero’s fingers, laughing and giddy like a child on a sugar-high.
“I’m serious,” the hero said, holding out their hand, but they weren’t truly serious. “I want my cape back now, please.”
“And why should I give it back? If you put it on we all know you’ll leave,” the villain pouted, “and I want you to stay.”
“Well, I have to go fight other people, who are more dangerous, and actually criminals.”
“Hey! Are you telling me I’m bad at my job?”
The hero grinned, snatching their cape from the villain. “What kind of a villain falls in love with the hero? It’s bad planning, if you ask me.”
They just laughed again, brushing the hero’s lips briefly. “What makes you think this wasn’t part of my plan?”
The sidekick groaned. “Okay, I get it! You two are in love, can you untie me now?”

Story Of  Raktanchal Web series
It would not be wrong to say that Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs of Wasseypur' in Bollywood has given audiences such a taste of crime drama films and series that one such series is coming in front of the audience. The story will bind you from the very first episode of 'Raktanchal'. Kranti Prakash Jha has played the role of Hero Vijay Singh in the web series. After films like 'MS Dhon: The Untold Story', 'Batla House' and TV series 'Swami Ramdev- Ek Sangharsh', Kranti Prakash has been overshadowed by his acting and dialogue delivery in 'Raktanchal'. Nikitan Dheer seems dangerous in the role of Villan Wasim Khan but he needs to work a lot on his facial expression and dialogue delivery.

Review of  Raktanchal Web series
Apart from both the lead roles, Ravi Khanvilkar in the role of corrupt politician Pujari Singh and Vikram Kochhar in the character of Wasim Khan's goon freak are quite strong. Ronjini Chakraborty's character Seema and Krishna Bisht's character Katta arrive quite late but leave an impression. Pramod Pathak plays the role of Tripurari. Politician Saheb Singh's character could have been improved but in this role, the best actors like Daya Shankar Pandey have not been treated properly.
The story of 'Raktanchal' has been written by Rajat, Sarvesh Upadhyay and Shashank Rahi of Sanjeev. Director Ritam Srivastava has completely tied the atmosphere of the mid-80s in 'Raktanchal'. The politics of Hindu-Muslim and Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh in the late 80s has also been included. The story of 'Raktanchal' is good but the dialogues have been somewhat weak which only managed to leave a limited impact on the audience. In the story, the love story of Vijay Singh could be shown properly, which has been reduced to a few scenes. Both songs put in 'Raktanchal' brake the pace of the story, so even if they are not inserted, it does not matter. The story is finished at such a turn that the audience will wait for its second season.
