Is moving to Europe worth the hype anymore post-covid world?

I often wonder if I'm better off staying in New York. I'm just so tired of New York. My son's are keeping me tied to the big apple. They are provided with an ample amount of services for autistic individuals and taking them abroad may not be the best option for them, particularly Adam, who is severely autistic, and I fear it may hinder them.

But, I dream of a more culturally enriched lifestyle as well as getting away from the superich and super poor dynamic that is very obvious and stifling in New York.

I'm tired of being poor in the states. Maybe life abroad offers the option of a more affordable, better quality of life. A possibility of a large apartment is within reach.

But, my husband has no future there with his lack of education creditionals. He never graduated high school in Spain. He would not be able to do anything over there.

And, I wouldn't know what the work in. Like who would give a fat American lady a chance who doesn't speak other languages aside English and broken Spanish?

It's depressing to know I didn't get to do what I really dreamed up because I made too many bad decisions. I'm buried deep in poverty, endless responsibilities and no hope.

I hope I can turn it around soon. A glamorous job that offers a decent schedule to be with my children would be a miracle.

It is this attitude that informs one of the finest poems ever to have been written about London, John Gay’s Trivia (1716). It is a militant affirmation of travelling on foot as a political, or proto-political, activity. There, the poet compares the righteous walker, whose modest walking-stick is constantly put to use because it directs his “cautious Tread aright”, to the idle aristocrats who, “loll[ing] at Ease” in “gilded Chariots”, carry their “Amber tipt” canes merely for the sake of fashionable appearance. Gay attacks the “griping Broker” who sits in an ostentatious chariot “and laughs at Honesty, and trudging Wits”.

Let's put Americans back to work on infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, railroads, power stations and revitalizing industrial areas in the Midwest.

Then job training. Huge programs across the board to train people for REAL JOBS. Vocational programs of all types to meet the needs for the changing workplace environment. Retrain older workers and start young workers into apprenticeship programs.. Then match workers with employers.

i don’t want to share it because, judging by the location and the furniture, the owner is probably some lower middle class person that just lost their last living parent, and not a superich landlord with 20 different properties, so i don’t want to risk it going viral and fucking up their chances, but the video is easily the best horror movie of 2020 and possibly the best ever in the found footage genre

the real estate agent shooting the video sounds terrified and he keeps turning the camera around, and there’s no telling if he’s trying to show the rooms from different angles or if he’s checking for ghosts

there are walls broken and things scattered around indicating that there was some big repair job going on that was halted, and the real estate agent keeps pointing out that the apartment needs some work and is probably best for people looking to buy instead of rent

there are two bathrooms. the first one was stripped of everything and has no light and if someone told me children were sacrificed in there, i would believe them. the other one is perfectly intact and actually nice, but it’s probably the most haunted room in the entire apartment, and that’s why no one dared to touch it. when the real estate agent shows the nice bathroom (from the outside), there’s this creepy scream that is probably a child on another part of the building, but it could also be the souls of the dead trying to warn us to keep out. who knows?

and then there’s the mold. OH MY GOD THE MOLD! so much black mold! if you try to remove it, it probably just grows back
