Hello hello tumblr!

Gosh it's been a while since I've had fun with art recently! So...funny story, I got back into DND! And these are my friends and I's characters!

I play a little kobold paladin called Ovo! Who worships the Sun Dragon called Solaire, of course the mantra would have been "Praise the sun", but because of the lil voice I gave him, he doesn't say it fast enough! So Sunny Beams it is! He's just a little guy! Gives all the warmth and sunshine that any lil guy can give!

I've not done all the player characters yet as there's been a huge reveal recently and I haven't gotten round to working with them for their character art yet, but at the bottom is Ovo cosplaying his friends!

Playing another session tomorrow and I'm so excited! I think you'll be seeing more of Ovo soon!

I do think it's rather unfair for hades game 2 to literally give us a sapphic moon witch and then proceed to have no love inerests you could conceivably do the "sun lesbian/moon lesbian" thing with. That's like lesbophobic I think. They need to bring the iliad characters back and put cassandra (priestess of apollo, which counts as decent sun symbolism I think) in the game or i'm gonna make a genderbent helios out of pure desperation.

I think because I talk about them with the omniscient narrator type voice all the time, it doesn't necessarily get their actual characterizations across very well, which is 1) a big motivator behind drawing out more interactions, and 2) very frustrating bc I feel like it makes them seem kind of like...shallow? Or doesn't give a very good idea of what they're just normally like in their day to day

Sunny Beam! Anyone know her? Enchated to Know You? Fimfiction? No? Oh well.

So yea, I'm trying to redo Sunny Beam, especially with the mane. I'm someehat happy at how this looks like, but I think it could be better. I want to get this perfect because I plan on finishing the story some time this month and would like to have better cover art for it before its conclusion.
