Jinhae:
Jin-woo wanted to share this feeling, this moment, with someone else. The feeling of the world not on his shoulders, but holding it tenderly in his hands, appreciating each detail that made it whole. In every flaw, and in every crease, there was always going to be a person who would cherish it. . . Just like the one beside him. Her touch was warm on his hand, he slowly intertwined their fingers together, admiring how well their hands fit. It was as though he was holding his own world. The world that once drifted from his fingertips, now returned to where it supposed to be. Right beside him, in his arms, under his loving gaze which had never changed since the first time he looked at her that way. Hae-in breathed as she leaned her back against his chest, staring at the sky above them. Jin-woo wrapped his arms around her tighter and pressed his lips on the crown of her head, he felt her squeeze his hand, causing him to smile. He would never wish to trade anything else for this moment — he found peace in her presence, radiating warmth in parts of his soul that had been long shattered. He could spend eternity just only with her as they watched the stars together. And his heart, once hardened and lumpy, seemed to soften and become untangled now.
Minlee:
A circle. A diamond. A flower. Ju-hee traced various shapes with her finger across the sky, filled with bright stars that lit throughout the quiet park. Underneath her was a soft blanket to prevent her bare arms from itching against the prickles of the grass, a jacket was also layered over her lap, protecting the bare skin under her dress against the frigid air. The owner of the jacket itself silently napped beside her. Byung-gyu had fallen asleep after minutes of gazing at the stars with her on the ground. Ju-hee lowered her hand as she glanced at him, smiling at the sight of his handsome face as he slept, not a mere trace of perturbation was found on his features. She wished for him to stay that way. Behind his charming smile was a void of poignant memories. Ju-hee knew she could never erase them, but she could always be his safe place. Placing her hand on his chest, she raised her head to press her lips on his forehead, Ju-hee leaned back again and then saw his hand on top of her own. It was time for him to wake up anyway. Ju-hee chuckled and rested her head on his shoulder this time, Byung-gyu now held her hand with both of his own as he fixed his attention to the sky, fully awake, and watched his lover's finger trace across the stars, drawing an infinity symbol.
Choibaek:
Smoke faintly wafted in the air. His fingers held the cigar between his lips, breathing in another smoke before gently releasing it through his parted mouth, watching it flew away along with his problems. It was only one of those few times Choi Jong-in could get some moment for himself. Peeling off his position as a guild master, a hunter, and become the man whom he really was. Alive. He wondered while gazing at the stars whether or not he truly wished to be left alone, as the heaviness nibbled in his chest, nibbling, succumbing, cold as though the flame had gone out. Perhaps deep inside, he yearned for something more. Perhaps he expected another amidst his time alone. And turned out, the answer he needed was in the jacket that was placed upon his shoulders. Jong-in quickly turned his head and saw none other than Yoon-ho, who glanced at him with his warm orange eyes. The temperature from the jacket ignited his soul once again. Lips curving into a smile, Jong-in removed his cigarette and burned it into ashes with a snap of his fingers; he inched his hand closer until he intertwined it with Yoon-ho's. The night was cold and dark, Jong-in wished to return the same warmth — if not, more — Yoon-ho had given him. After all, what else could he do as a fire mage?
Heeseok:
She was waiting, looking at the stars from the window of her living room, like a silent prayer. For him. She knew it was a futile thing to worry about a person who was as ruthless and powerful as him. But who could blame her? Every night was a repetition she never wished to break — the feeling of his presence arriving in the vicinity, the sight of his warm eyes, the smile that locked the skeletons deep within his soul, and the touch that had been tainted in unimaginable ways. Nonetheless, Hee-jin knew that to love was to risk. . . Then a silhouette appeared in the center of the window. She quickly set her feet on the floor and rushed toward Eun-seok, wrapping her arms around him. He asked her what was wrong, she shook her head and smiled as she faced him. His eyes were gentle, only reserved for her and those whom he trusted, and his arms around her made her feel secured like how she never had. Eun-seok smiled and pressed his lips on her forehead.
Woozhi:
Jin-chul slumped back against his seat, grunting as he rubbed his temples. Small stacks of papers and folders stood on his desk, the left side had taller stacks which insinuated that they were done, but there were still unfinished work to do. It appeared Jin-chul's stamina was now low and he did not think he was able to leave his office spotless. His gaze shifted to the clear window where the stars glimmered throughout the darkened sky. For once, he felt serenity. The sudden homesickness. Without a further debate with himself, Jin-chul got up from his chair, with such force that sent it spinning as he grabbed his coat and exited the office, not sparing a last glance at his messy desk. There were not a lot of employees in the building as most had already gone home, so it was silent when Jin-chul was heading to the exit. His car was at the shop to be repaired, which meant he would be taking a bus on the way home. . . But when he got out of the building, someone was already waiting for him. Jin-chul did not have to guess as his instincts could already tell the face beneath the hat. He went up and gently lifted the brim to face a pair of glowing yellow eyes interlocking with his gaze and lips that was curled into a warm grin. Jin-chul didn't fight back against his smile. Zhigang removed his raised hand and intertwined their fingers together. And at last, Jin-chul's heart became more serene and all pressure had been drifted away. It made him want to lay on the couch and lean on his beloved and then have him rub his arms until he dozed into slumber.
Taenoru:
A shivering air embraced him when he pulled the door shut, Tae-gyu cupped his hands around his mouth to breathe onto his palms, warming it. He shoved them into his pockets as he proceeded to walk. . . Only soon to pause when his caught something near the tree. A hooded figure stood next to it and their head was directed to the night sky. A smile grew on the archer's face, he did not need another second to recognize who it was — someone had appeared to be waiting for him, so Tae-gyu made his way to the hunter and placed his hand on the shoulder, causing the person to flinch from his touch. A chuckle escaped from his mouth while Minoru glared in embarrassment. Tae-gyu leaned forward to plant a quick kiss on his lover's cheek and held their hands, feeling Minoru relaxed; they began walking together afterward. Nobody else had to know their little secret. Only the stars were witnesses to the blossoming romance between the two hunters from different guilds, different countries, yet had their hearts knew no boundaries.
Sungpark:
With her silver dress and long, flowing black hair, Ill-hwan could have sworn he had married a deity. Her smile seemed as though it was as bright as the full moon. And her eyes sparkled like the stars in the dark sky. She reached out to him, he gladly took her hand. . . And for once, Ill-hwan felt as if he was young again. Kyung-hye wrapped her arms around his neck and Ill-hwan gently pressed his forehead against hers, watching her close her eyes as he began to sway their bodies, listening to the music etched on his mind with a memory flushing in. Kyung-hye was in her wedding dress as his newly wedded wife while he was in his suit, standing together beneath the night sky, far from the reception to be in their own world. He'd do anything to be in that moment again. It was the moment of a sealed promise for their eternal love and Ill-hwan cherishing her as part of his soul.

Reading Woo Jin-chul's dossier from the Arise game and wished we got more from him in the main story.
He saw Sung Il-Hwan's ill fated mission at the amusement park. He watched as Jin-woo's grief got broadcasted on TV.
Omfg. The Sungs were Jin-chul's reason to help Hunters instead of becoming a police officer.
-> Jin-chul minding his own business in college and working hard to be part of the police force.
-> Saw Jin-woo sad on TV and went "Oh crap. Who's going to help and protect Hunters?"
-> Heard about Go Gun-hee setting up the Korean Hunters Association and promptly dropped from the police academy (I assume) to pursue business
-> Was Awakened and went fuck it with his business studies to go fight in the field instead
-> Eventually applied to KHA optimistically
LMAO. No wonder Jin-chul's really good at his job as Gun-hee's right hand man. His educational background and police training made him perfect for it.
It's also really sweet how before he Awakened, he was already aiming to help KHA. However, while I like the retcon of connecting him somewhat to the Sungs, it kind of made a bit of a plot hole for me.
I mean, wouldn't it make sense for Jin-chul to try to keep tabs/following up on Il-Hwan's family especially Jin-woo since they are technically his inspiration for switching careers? Or at least maybe recognizing Jin-woo immediately in their first meeting?
Anyway, it's hilarious how he reacted at being Awakened. Jin-chul annoyed at his wasted years of pursuing a business degree just to fall back on his police training as a fighter. He must be so stressed when after signing up to the KHA, he looped back to using his business education to battle paperwork and wrangle agents and high ranking Hunters as well.
The ending for his Story Chapter 2 sounded ominous tho:
"But dreams never really come true. He would learn that the hard way."
#woo jinchul#i like him#he is a funny little guy that rocks a suit#ngl he gives me wesker vibes with this art here

The big doors of the gymnasium opened, allowing a certain man in. Walking with confidence and steady feet, the murmurs of the people slowly dies down. At the very front, the reason of the crowd gathering together, stood oblivious to the person who just came in. They were still dancing to the beat of the music, trying to charm the ladies watching. Until the music abruptly stopped. Jinyoung holds the plug on his hand. The five guys, known as Five Roses, who were dancing earlier paused and looked for the source of disruption.
The audience parted as if it was the red sea as Jinyoung, the student council president walks towards them.
See, Jinyoung has a perfect face, perfect grades, perfect hair, perfect uniform, probably perfect everything. Many girls and some boys has a crush on him, obviously. But the fact that he's strict, cold and savage dwindles the affection the student body has for him making him the not so desirable anymore.
"What the...this guy again...dammit." Ji Woo, one of the Five Roses said upon seeing the sour look on the President's face. "Why is he here again?!"
"I should be asking that. Why are you here? Don't you have class?"
Knowing better for themselves, the rest of the people dispersed and went back to their respective rooms. No one wants to anger Jinyoung. No one wants to be in his bad side because he's scary. Nobody could say what would happen if they did disobey him. There was no brave soul who dared.
Maybe Jung Hwan will dare, as he speaks. "C'mon man, leave us alone. We're practicing for the idol competition. Our school's name is at stake here." He was only rewarded with a scoff and an eye roll. Jinyoung finds idol competitions between schools funny. It was a well-known fact that he doesn't support it. At all. Especially if you disregard your studies in favor of it. His nonchalance about the matter slowly aggravates the five boys. "Our school's academic performance is at stake. Adding you bunch of idiots skipping classes will not help it." The leader of the group, Yeon So, feeling a little less happy with how things are going, strode towards Jinyoung. "Pres, we could care less. But since you took the effort to go here and nag us, we'll follow you. The next time you do it again though, I wouldn't care if you're the president."
Face to face. It was like a two wolves staring each other down ready to bite off the other. There was an air of crackling electricity between them, trying to win and make the other back down. "You think that would scare me Yeon So?"
"No. But that was a warning. Stay in your lane, teachers' pet."
The five boys walked away with a grudge, leaving an exhausted Jinyoung. Don't get him wrong, he understands the passion they have what they do. He thinks it's a wonderful thing: to be passionate about something. To do something that you love. He might be a little jealous of them for having something that he doesn't despite the fact that everyone thinks he's perfect. It also irks him that they sacrifice learning to do it. More so that their school's academic standing compared to other schools is pathetic. Add the humiliating downfall of their sports team.
Everything's not going right for their reputation. The only good win they have is the idol competition, which is not really saying much. It's Jinyoung's second term as president and his last year. The pressure he has on himself to exceed his performance from last year before he graduates lays heavy on his shoulders. Resulting to him being more uptight than he usually is.
"Thinking too hard there, aren't you?"
Turning to see who spoke, even though Jinyoung knows that voice very well. It was Jaebum. He's scratching his head while yawning, worsening his bed head. The president's eyes turned into slits. "Do I have to reprimand you as well?" His long time friend only shrugged, already used to the president's stern warnings. "It's our break, I took a nap." Jinyoung sighed. He already knows making the other follow him is a lost cause. It doesn't mean he'll stop though. "You weren't in class before the break."
Both walked out of the gymnasium to head back to the main building. "Mrs. Kim called me in her office. Apparently I'm the only senior who hasn't submitted college plans." Mentioning college made Jinyoung stop in his tracks. The big elephant in his life. Something that he avoids to think about these last few months. "I heard you submitted late as well. Who would've thought Mr. Perfect Jinyoung had doubts as well." Jaebum teased his friend. He had seen him struggle to finish the forms. Conflict clearly written on his face every night as he stared at the piece of paper that probably has his future. Hair disheveled when he pulls it out of frustration.
The man in question can't help but to huff out. Even after submitting his half-hearted plans, he couldn't help but still ask himself what he wants to do with his life. "Have you thought about it? College, I mean..." Jinyoung asked his companion. A light breeze flew by them as he waited the other to answer. "I know what I want to do. I've always known."
Music. Im Jaebum's first love. Of course. Why did Jinyoung ask anyway? He knows it well.
“What about you?”
They both walked the side field, mulling about the future and what awaits them.
“I don’t know. My parents want me to take Medicine, but Mrs. Kim said I’ll fit in well with a business course.”
“Do whatever you want man, whatever would make you happy.”
“Hmm…”
What would make him happy anyway? He doesn’t have an answer to that. He’s been asking himself for a long time but Jinyoung comes out with a blank space in his heart waiting to be filled by something he himself can’t answer what. Now with their graduation looming, entrance exams coming closer, Jinyoung felt like he’s out of time.
“If you knew what you wanted, why submit late anyway?” He asked his friend condescendingly, his JB hunter mode on. “I lost the form.”
And Jinyoung’s signature eye roll with a dash of an exasperated sigh came out as usual whenever Jaebeom does anything stupid. “I don’t even know what to say about that.” They both stopped walking, the president ready to rant again, his back facing the field where their prestigious basketball team were playing (prestigious my ass, they lost four consecutive games already). “You could have…” But Jaebeom wasn’t entirely listening, seeing the orange ball flying towards them. Specifically, at his friend.
“Jinyoung!”
Jaebeom held the other’s shoulder and pushed him aside. He shielded Jinyoung with his body, the ball hitting him directly on the back. He was almost hugging him, bracketing his smaller shoulders with his wider ones. "Ugh. What?" confusion was what Jinyoung felt. 'Why is he hugging me all of a sudden? If this is because I was being a bit sentimental… I'll hit you Jaebeom.'
"Omo! Sorry! Sorry!'
Jinyoung peered over his friend's shoulder and saw Jackson, one of the members of the basketball team. "Didn't mean to hit 'ya! Sorry." He was cringing and had his hands in pleading. Their president was almost hit with a ball. They might get suspended! "Next time, watch where you're throwing the ball." Jaebeom's reputation isn't that great to be honest. With his biting stares, long hair and seasonal peircings, he's known to be the school's bad boy. A man you shouldn't cross. Someone to avoid at all costs. It's also well known that even the great disciplinarian Park Jinyoung can't handle him. Now, Jackson who's receiving ill intent from the other, he didn't seem to mind and his apologetic smile just bounced off Jaebeom's scary aura. Jinyoung was quite amused.
"It wasn't me though! Sung Hwan threw the ball. I was only asked to fetch it. I'm sorry in behalf of the team though. Jinyoung, we're sorry for almost hitting you." He then bowed politely to express his sincerity. Jaebeom was dumbfounded at the boy who did not seem to mind his usual scary air.
When Jinyoung realized that Jaebeom was still holdong him protectively, 'Tsk, what a worrywart.', he released himself indignantly and smoothened his uniform. Seeing the other still bowing to him, he felt uncomfortable. "Hey, it's okay. It was an accident."
Jackson immediately straightened up and beamed. "Thank you! Anyway, are any of you hurt? The ball's a bit hard."
"No not really." Jaebeom answered nonchalantly. Trying to look like a cool senior. Again, the president rolled his eyes at him.
"We're fine Jackson. How about you, how's the team going? Are you still benched?" The athlete rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. He laughed lightly, but his smile decreased. Way to go Jinyoung. You officially made him feel bad. "Yeah… But that's okay! I can now do my other hobbies other than sports so…" Jackson covered his embarrassment with a hearty laugh, waving off the dampening of the mood. "No but really, I'm totally okay with it Jinyoung. No need to worry." He gave his most convincing smile to Jinyoung as the other frowned. Jackson's a foreign student who transferred to their school because of his parents' business in the area. Before he went to East High, he's already a great athlete with a bright future ahead of him. From what Jinyoung heard, he had already collected a ton of medals and trophies.
"Are you sure? I can talk to the coach. Seriously that Coach Jang has favoritism. Only letting Sung Hwan to shine."
"No no no! Don't worry about it. It's okay. I prefer it this way."
Jinyoung was not convinced but bit his tongue from saying anything further. He just nodded and it seemed to satisfy Jackson as well. But Jaebeom on the other hand looked like he didn't like the friendly way of speaking of the other. "Hey. You're a junior aren't ya? Pay some respect on your seniors."
Jackson looked at Jaebeom curiously, a teasing smile already on his face. "I'm older than Jinyoing though." The long haired senior's eyes widened. He turned to his friend to confirm and Jinyoung was not reacting to it. "He is?"
"Yes. You guys are the same age. And you both make it sound like I'm so much younger. It's just a few months "
The laugh that resounded the area was cheerful. Jackson's mood lifted up again. He bid goodbye to the two after grabbing the ball and jogged back to the court. But Jaebeom was stuck in his position, floored by the surprise of the fact and most likely because the foreigner wasn't really all that faltered in his presence unlike other people "Why is he a junior though?"
As the subjects from his old school were quite different from what they have, some were not credited. Thus making him repeat his junior year. Having no choice but to accept, since it was an urgent migrate. Jackson got into the team with his natural sporty abilities, even better than the current players they have. But unfortunately, Mr Jang doesn't care and only fluffs up his favorite, the captain ball Sung Hwan. Which was such a waste and irks Jinyoung to the core. They lost consecutive competitions already even if they have someone like Jackson, they never bothered to bring hin out anyway.
"You seem to know him well."
"I toured him around campus on his first day."
"Oh aren't ya such a good student president?" Ah, Jaebeom was joking around once again. A feat that most people don't see. "Apparently not, you won't cut your hair and remove that metal on your nose."
As if he was wounded by his friend's ribbing, he put his hand on his chest feigning hurt. "Yah! You said long hair suits me."
"My opinion outside school doesn't mean a thing inside. Cut that hair."

NETFLIX ANNOUNCES CASTING LINEUP, INCLUDING POPULAR ACTOR JUNG HAE-IN, FOR KOREAN ORIGINAL SERIES D.P.
L to R: Jung Hae In, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun, Son Seok Koo
KUALA LUMPUR, 3rd September 2020 – Netflix, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service, announced an impressive casting lineup for new original series D.P., the story of a young army private who unexpectedly becomes a desertion arrest officer and finds himself in confusing and complicated situations.
D.P. is an acronym for 'Deserter Pursuit,' a unit within the Army's Military Police for tracking down AWOL soldiers. With this novel premise and a close look into issues within the military, the original webtoon by Kim Bo-tong was a huge hit that attracted more than 10 million readers in Korea.
Jung Hae In (Something in the Rain and One Spring Night, Tune in for Love) plays An Jun-ho, an army private assigned to D.P. detail by his supervisor who has found him to be observant and persistent. An Jun-ho is a quiet, even-tempered young man who does not believe in bending the rules. He becomes to be struggling with inner conflict as he faces different cases of deserters.
Koo Kyo Hwan (Peninsula, Jane) plays Han Ho-yeol, the corporal leading the desertion arrest unit. Although he appears to be an unambitious free spirit, Ho-yeol will present Jun-ho at times with useful investigation know-how and at times with ill temper, in a display of great teamwork between the two actors.
Kim Sung Kyun (The Fiery Priest, Reply 1994, and Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time) plays the role of D.P. Unit Chief Park Beom-gu who constantly nags the already stressed and chronically fatigued Jun-ho and Ho-yeol. Beom-gu is an experienced and capable leader who always looks out for them.
Son Seok Koo (Sense8, Mother, Be Melodramatic, Designated Survivor: 60 Days) plays First Lieutenant Im Ji-seop, an elite graduate of the Korea Military Academy and the Commander of the Military Police, who creates suspense and tension as he only cares about results and highly disapproves of D.P..
The series is directed by Han Jun-hee, whose full-length debut film Coin Locker Girl caused an uproar in the Korean film industry by being selected to screen in the International Critics’ Week section of the 68th Cannes Film Festival in 2015. He and the original webtoon writer Kim Bo-tong collaborated on the screenplay.
D.P. will be produced by Lezhin Studio in association with Homemade Film. It will premiere internationally, only on Netflix.

What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim? - Reactions and Insights
Annyeong! :) Andito na naman ako. Ang dami kong time kaya panay ang update ko ng blog. :D
Before anything else, I hope all is well with you, guys. It's been a long time since I posted anything here, and finally!! Magpopost na ako about "What's Up with Secretary Kim?" pero bago yun, share ko lang. Haha. Anyway, eto na.
PS SOME SPOILERS AHEAD. So kung hindi mo pa napapanood ever, I suggest na wag mo itong basahin. :D also, fictional lang ito so syempre wag tayong masyadong judgmental sa kasiyaha ng ibang tao (ibang tao = me HAHAHA).
Main Characters and Story
Ang ganap, si Secretary Miso Kim (Park Min Young), 9 years na siyang sekretarya ni Vice President Yeong Joon Lee (Park Seo Joon), but one day, nagpasya si Secretary Kim na magreresign na siya!! PAANO NA DIBAAA???
Secretary Kim doing her best to assist her boss
Nagulat si Yeong Joon sa biglaang resignation. He was in denial at first. Pero desidido na si Secretary Kim na mag-resign. Para kasi sa kanya, she already spent 9 years of her life without much rest para lang magtrabaho at matulungan ang mga tao sa paligid niya. Naisip niyang it's about time for her to give herself time and care, too.
But eventually, along the way, marami silang na-realize at natuklasan tungkol sa isa't isa. I know it’s such a cliche and happy ending, but sometimes don’t you just like a good, old, happy ending to a story? They do deserve each other because they genuinely loved each other. 💕
Other Characters
Sung Yeon Lee, played by the ever gwapo, Lee Tae Hwan (na sa totoong buhay eh mas bata pa kay Park Seo Joon HAHAHA) is the older brother of Yeong Joon in the series.
If anybody predicted, of course Miso and Yeong Joon fell for each other. Pero syempre na-in love rin kay 'Mareng Miso. Akala nga kasi nila, silang dalawa ang magkasama sa kidnapping situation. Feeling nila meron silang childhood connection, pero malalaman nila later in the series na hindi pala 'yon true. Imagine being young and being jealous of your younger sibling kaya ang tendency is to bully him. Hindi siguro kinaya ng konsensya niya na dahil sa kanya kaya na-kidnap 'yung kapatid niya. Kaya naman naging defense mechanism niyang mawala sa sarili and to live another person's truth. Sad :(
My favorite characters, though (next to Yeong Joon and Miso), are Manager Se Ra Bong (Hwang Bo Ra) and Secretary Yang (Kang Hong Seok)!!! OMG don't you just love them??? Hindi ko alam kung ilang beses ako humalakhak dahil sa dalawang characters na ito. Sobrang laugh trip sa tuwing may dialogue sila or appearance/s. Hahahaha!
It just shows how we sometimes love really comes in unexpected packages. Hindi naman kasi si Secretary Yang ang type talaga ni Manager Bong, but they still liked each other any way.
Reactions and Insights
Konting fact-sharing. :D According to the World Health Organization (WHO) "burn-out" is an occupational phenomenon and is described as ‘Factors influencing health status or contact with health services’ – which includes reasons for which people contact health services but that are not classed as illnesses or health conditions.
Meron daw tatlong dimensions and burn-out, including:
feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion;
increased mental distance from one’s job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one's job; and
reduced professional efficacy.
Also, according to WHO, ang term na "burn-out" daw strictly dapat ginagamit lang in the occupational context, at hindi dapat ginagamit para mag-describe ng ibang pangyayari sa buhay mo na may similar na pangyayari.
So, ayun.
Pero imagine, falling in love with your childhood hero. Not to mention the complications in their families, as well. Although not the very well established, especially Miso’s family conflicts, but the connection and the explanations of the stories seem to be well put together.
As a 25-year old working girl, hindi ko pa masabing I’ve been there.
And there’s nothing wrong with taking a rest. If you really feel the need to take a break from work, please, do it. If you feel like you won’t be able to deliver, talk to a trusted person or to your boss and take that leave.
Minsan talaga nakakatakot magsabi, and I understand that. But if you ever get the courage to talk about your stress and what you’re going through, please do it. I hope some people will really listen. I am not an expert, nor am I knowledgeable about burn-out, stress and mental health. Working non-stop can cause us to be physically and emotionally tired, and can also jeopardize our health.
Ang masasabi ko lang, “go where your heart is at ease.” Kung hindi ka na masaya sa ginagawa mo, sana magkaroon ka ng lakas ng loob na umalis at hanapin kung saan ka magiging masaya at fulfilled. Wag ka sanang matakot sumubok ng sumubok. Laban! :)

3. Na Moon Hee Na Moon Hee plays Choi Haenam, the wife of Shim Deok Chul. This mother of 3 children at first strongly opposed her husband's desire to enter ballet . However, he forgot for a moment, that everyone has a dream that can't be changed just like that even if he pushes and gets in the way. Sung Dan finally had to be willing to see his wife working in his office, while he was forced to quit his job because of a problem with his job.
7. Kim Soo Jin Deok Chul's second child, Shim Sung Suk, is played by actress Kim Soo Jin. She is a wife who supports her husband's political career, even though he still has not succeeded in becoming an established politician.
She had given up on her not getting pregnant because she was already in her 4th birthday. However, thanks to her mother's support and seeing her father's hard work not giving up ballet at an old age, she was back on her feet.
8. Jo Bok Rae Shim Sung Gwan is the third child of Deok Chul, played by actor Jo Bok Rae. Actually, Sung Gwan is a surgeon. It's just that since the death of his first patient, he chose to give up his job as a doctor and chose to be unemployed. However, he has a dream to become a director.
Sun Gwan was the first person in the family to support his father in ballet. He was also excited to document every activity his father did during ballet practice. And, cares more about his father ever since Chae Guk revealed to him the secret of his father's illness.
9. Yoon Ji Hye Yoon Ji Hye plays Eun So Ri, the ex-wife of Ki Seung Joo (Kim Tae Hoon). She is also a ballet coach at the official ballet school. And reunited with Seung Joo after training Chae Rok and Deok Chul together.
10. Kim Kwon Kim Kwon plays Yang Ho Beom, one of the students on Chae Guk's father's soccer team. Because his football career was hindered by Chae Guk's father, he felt a grudge against Chae Guk. Wherever and wherever Chae Guk was, he always intimidated Chae Guk and mistreated him.
However, because he often gets advice from Deok Chul, he begins to change. Chae Guk's father, who was finally released from prison, has apologized to him and supported Ho Beom to return to football by gifting Ho Beom soccer boots. Thinking about this AU again and then I went—
E-Rank!Jin-woo visiting his dad in the guild, only then to find himself admiring every S-Rank hunter in the building. Choi Jong-in's fire powers? Amazing! Baek Yoon-ho's beast transformation? Immaculate! Ma Dong-wook's gigantification? Utterly speechless! Lim Tae-gyu's sharp range of shooting? Impressive! Min Byung-gyu's healing skills? Beautiful! Eun-seok's agile and close combat? How badass! Cha Hae-in's swordsmanship? Spectacular!
In short, Jin-woo fanboys in the inside every time he sees them. Though, some of them barely notice him unless they recognize him as Sung Ill-hwan's eldest child. Ill-hwan offers Jin-woo for a spot in the guild so he won't have to freelance or join available hunting groups, which Jin-woo always refuses because he doesn't think he'll fit in them anyway.
Heh. The S-Rank hunters besides Dong-wook and Hae-in treating E-Rank!Jin-woo like a little brother:3
#s-rank hunters to e-rank!jin-woo: LITTLE BROTHER!!!!!#s-rank hunters when jin-woo became an s-rank because of the system: oh no he's one of us. but worse!#solo leveling

I was tagged @minhyowon (it’s not tagging you idk why) in this kdrama tag meme!! thank you jojo!!
I also realized I did this last week and i don’t think ill make questions bc when I did it was hard, i’m sorry.
1. Do you ever get second lead syndrome? If so, who is the second lead that you felt for the most, that you loved way more than the lead? Who is the second lead that deserved a better ending?
I get second lead syndrome a lot but honestly it depends. baek in ho, I love him so much!!!! he’s honestly like most favorite kdrama character. kim jung hwan, he is barely even in the future episodes and im so mad. also I read a theory or what his ending was supposed to be and he deserved better. (lol I love second leads that deserve better tbh)
2. What book/movie would you like to see adapted into a kdrama? Who would you cast as the leads?
ive literally never thought of a book or movie as a kdrama before. anything with park bo gum as the main lead tho
3. Who are your top 3 kdrama OTPs?
bokjoo x joonhyung, inho x seol, jinmyung x jaewan
4. What is your favourite kdrama trope? Name your favourite drama with that trope.
the one I like the most and that i can think of are friendship centric like ‘rekindled friendships’ I guess. the best example is school 2013 also helps jong suk and woonbin are best friend in real life too. I want more friendship platonic dramas without romance. also i just finished what happens with my family and hyungsik and kangjoon’s characters demonstrate this too.
5. Does the OST influence your enjoyment of a drama? Are there any dramas that you’ve watched because of the OST?
i think osts are really important. i don’t think ive watched a drama because of the ost but ive enjoyed a drama more because of the osts. honestly moon lovers, mdbc, age of youth and others are my favorite osts.
6. Who is your bias and who is your bias ruiner?
is this a bias for actors?? because my top actors are park bo gum, nam joo hyuk, seo kang joon & kim so eun. idk about bias wreckers but ji soo and lee jong suk & lee sung kyung
7. What is a drama that you think everyone should watch? (An essential drama for every kdrama lover.)
age of youth
8. Who are your top 3 female leads?
yoo eun jae, na bong sun, hong seol
9. Create your own love team. (A pairing that you would like to see in everything, or a couple that you would like to see reunited.)
i miss louis and bok sil tbh the actors had really good chemistry together. also jinmyung & jaewan but im hoping the yoon park is coming back for age of youth s2 too, but idk. (also park bo gum and kim go eun in a kdrama they did a movie together as a romantic interest but his character lasted 20 minutes)
10. Pick an actor and an actress that you would like to see as the leads in a drama? (Your dream pairing, they’ve never worked together before but you think they would be great together. Mine is Kim Seul Gi and Kang Ha Neul.)
seul gi and haneul would be good together, that one ‘happy together’ episode was so cute. imagine park bo gum and park bo young tho .. this isn’t like a romantic lead pick but I want seo kang joon and lee dong wook to do a drama together they were on the variety show roommate for like a year and I think they would be good.

Thirst (2009)
“Bakjwi”
Drama, Fantasy, Horror |
Thirst is a South Korean horror film produced, written and directed by Park Chan-wook. It is loosely based on the 1867 novel Thérèse Raquin by Émile Zola. The film tells the story of a Catholic priest—who is in love with his friend’s wife—turning into a vampire through a failed medical experiment. Park has stated, “This film was originally called ‘The Bat’ to convey a sense of horror. The film won the Jury Prize at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
Sang-hyun is a Catholic priest who volunteers at the hospital, providing ministry to the patients. He is well respected for his unwavering faith and dedicated service, but he secretly suffers from feelings of doubt and sadness. Sang-hyun volunteers to participate in an experiment to find a vaccine for the deadly Emmanuel Virus (EV). Although the experiment fails, and Sang-hyun is infected with the seemingly fatal disease, he makes a complete and rapid recovery after receiving a blood transfusion.
News of his marvelous recovery quickly spreads among the devout parishioners of Sang-hyun’s congregation, and they begin to believe that he has a miraculous gift for healing. Soon, thousands more flock to Sang-hyun’s services. Among the new churchgoers are Kang-woo, Sang-hyun’s childhood friend, and his family. Kang-woo invites his old friend to join the weekly mahjong night at his house, and there, Sang-hyun finds himself attracted to Kang-woo’s wife, Tae-ju. Sang-hyun later relapses into his illness and wakes in dire need of shelter from the sunlight, having become a vampire.
