Excited to support the Summer Challenge at Indian Springs Library! Today, I got to explore the wonders of our closest star, the Sun, using my trusty telescope.

I love observing the Sun's surface and its incredible features. From sunspots to solar flares, it's a reminder of the vast and dynamic universe we’re a part of.

Do something different daily summer challenge!!

Decided to kick off eating healthier by eating more raw veggies. We made a tomato salad the other night. Yum!!

1 Roma Tomato

1/4 TBSP Course Garlic Salt

Dash of black pepper

Cut up tomato into cubes and add all ingredients. Stir and refrigerate over night.

At the end of my freshman year of college, I gained 10lbs- 10lbs that I had lost and kept off. I was rapidly gaining the weight. It was scary- at the same time I also had just started anxiety/depression meds and was expierencing quite a few side effects. Muscle twitches, Insomia, tiredness (in the morning), dizziness/spaceyness/confusion, strange dreams, to name a few. I didn’t think that this rapid 10lb weight gain was cause for the medicine- well it didn’t cross my mind considering the medicine is actually supposed to help you loose weight. any was I have since switched medicines and I have been able to maintain my weight which is exciting and better than gaining. Talking about mental health is really importang, i hope to make a blog about it soon! I hope to restart my journey. This week are my goals are to work out mon-saturday and the meal prep lunch and dinner mon-fri. I also want to try taking my coffee black. I will try to post more frequently- I hope to use this to keep my accountable for the next 4 weeks! My starting weight to my summer challenge is 171lb. I don’t have a goal just feel good.

Council calls all young gadget fans, budding scientists and bookworms to join Summer Challenge

Hillingdon Council is encouraging young people of all ages to join the science-themed Summer Reading Challenge during the school holidays.   If you're trying to keep children entertained during the school holidays, then this year's challenge could be just the solution.     The ever-popular annual initiative, run by Hillingdon Library Service in conjunction with the Reading Agency, launched earlier this month with kids being encouraged to explore science with this year's theme, 'Gadgeteers'.   To take part, children aged from four to 11 will need to visit their local library four times during the school holidays and borrow any books they like.
