Okay my review of the Marigold presser is that if you already aren't or have never been passionate about Stardom they 100% did not show anything new or different enough from that to be exciting, but if you might have interest in Somehow Even More Stardom like me I'm cautiously optimistic, with a guarantee of absolutely more of Rossy's complete bullshit than ever given it's not even day one yet and he absolutely decimated the Act Wres roster + poached Fuka back up to boot. Don't get me wrong Act Wres management sucks and probably barely pays those girls Bret Hart voice don't feel sorry for him but jesus christ dude. Anyway I never watched shit for Rossy and at the end of the day that's a roster I will extremely follow.

As soon as it broke that Act Wres got raided I figured Sumikawa and Matsui were gone but Kouki and Chika Goto are going to be unbelievable mega stars oh my god holy shit. They're still going to Stardom within like 3 years but fulltime wrestler Kouki is everything I ever could have asked for. She should kiss Utami frame 1 of the 1st show Rossy I would forgive everything are you listening to me HELLO

another one from the "found an official translation of a manga i read ages ago" pile! it's alternatively translated as Dahlia in Bloom for the light novel's title, which i personally think is whimsier and flows a lot better, but i guess they wantes to be closer to the transliteration for the manga

it's your bog-standard otome isekai with arguably very little isekai elements. if you handwave dahlia's magic tools from being knowledge of the modern world to just her being a genius or something, then this would be p much just be a shoujo fantasy. she is also directly reincarnated, not transmigrated into an existing person, so there's none of the usual "trapped in another body" conflict you'd see with her other contemporaries

it is better than usual at treating their characters as actual human beings with developed personalities, instead of the cut-and-paste caricatures of people you see in a lot of bad OI. this is especially true with the 'villain.' tho there isn't really anything new it brings to the table, it's still an enjoyable, fun read for otome isekai fans who don't mind seeing the same story beats as every other OI.
