Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been not great. As a matter of fact, I am not excited about the release of new chapters.
I began working on a project; A fanfiction series called Boruto: Tenchijin. I have published 13 chapters on AO3 so far.
How it differs from BTBV manga?
It focuses not only on the protagonists but also side characters. Those anime-canon kids that you adore appear in the story but not to get disrespected and treated like irrelevant, flat characters. They are back to be fleshed out and have their moments of greatness.
There is actual fight scenes that don't feel like squash matches. Flashy destructive techniques return and the cast are versatile and powerful yet at the same time vulnerable and mortal. Even if one party suffers from defeat, they would not be deemed as weaklings as they'd already shown their capacity.
The lore-expanding and worldbuilding is not overlooked. There is an endless creation and compelling history events that needs to be explored.
Bonding is extremely important as it helps form a realistic story and add layers to characters. Your faves are allowed to fully express themselves in society and solitude alike.
If anyone is interested in reading my work, let me know in comment section. If i know there is some people who are intrigued by the concept, i will share the fanfic series on this platform as well.

How do you all actually feel about all of these Timeskip Designs?
Ngl I wasn't feeling most of them at first but now they're growing on me....
....Except Kawaki's. That one is still taking time for me to get used to lol)

You know what? Boruto shouldn’t have been the main character of his own show. He was always set up for failure with the legacy of Naruto behind him. I fully believe he could’ve been a good character if the show wasn’t focused around him.
Having someone new and unknown come in could’ve added a layer to the series would’ve added mystery to the show again. There is nothing left to be discovered with Boruto since we know all we need to know about him, all we have to look forward to is the occasional plot twist and even those are boring.
Another character holding the shows perspective would’ve been great to separate the old characters with the new. It would’ve made the manga its own thing instead of just ‘Naruto’s shitty sequel’.
Someone like Sumire would’ve been cool to see the shows perspective from considering her dad was a former root agent, gave her some mysterious power and told her to infiltrate Konoha. That would’ve been a more interesting twist as we see things from the eyes of a little girl who, contrary to Naruto, has no reason to like Konoha.
Or maybe even Kawaki. It would’ve been a more detailed and heart wrenching way to introduce Kara without it looking like a knock off Akatsuki.
Honestly, even a random kid entering the academy would’ve been a better introduction to the series.

Did You Know That Naruto/Boruto Openings/Endings Foreshadow The Future?
You can tell a lot from the opening and endings of the Naruto/Boruto anime.
Here, I'm going to show you some opening and endings that may foreshadow the future (I may have missed some).
First, we'll begin with endings.
Tumblr media
In ending 4, team 15 had their moments where Namida and Wasabi were at a train station, whereas Sumire was seen walking in the rain.
Tumblr media
Still in ending 4 (pretty sure it's straight afterwards), you see Boruto standing in front of Konoha, which shows before and after it's destroyed.
I was thinking, Sumire's the only character to be walking in the rain, and then the scene straight after is Konoha being destroyed. You can faintly see he's angry.
Could it be because something happens to Sumire?
Why would this scene be straight after?
Sumire is the only character that's connect to Boruto, except Kawaki. Not Sarada, not Mitsuki, not Shikadai. Kawaki's connected to Boruto through Karma, whereas Sumire is connected through Nue/Gozu Tenno.
Boruto means bolt, which is connected to Neji's name meaning (screw), but let's not forget that it's also connected to storms.
Why would Sumire be the only one out of all the endings (I think) in a storm, then the village being destroyed straight after?
Sumire's name means violet, but the surname she took on means family tree/lineage. This could connect us to the Otsutsuki or Divine Tree, just like Nue.
So I was thinking that either something happened to her (like her death) that results in the destruction of Konoha, or something related to her will trigger Konoha's destruction.
Now we're moving onto openings.
Tumblr media
In opening 6, we see Sumire next to Hinata and Naruto, which reminds me of the next point.
Tumblr media
I’m not sure where this was on, but I remember seeing it.
If foreshadowed NaruHina, Hinata being near Minato and Kushina, just like SUmire's near Naruto and Hinata.
So could it be foreshadowing BoruSumi?
Tumblr media
In opening 7, we see Boruto, the only other character to be in the middle of a storm. But red is the color for rage. I believe this is connected to Sumire's storm and Konoha's destruction.
Could something happen to Sumire that leads us back to Konoha's destruction theory?
Tumblr media
Also in opening 7 (I didn't get a very good pic of it), we see Kawaki actually rebuilding Konoha. Could that mean he actually wins the Boruto-Kawaki fight that was in the very first episode?
Tumblr media
Next in opening 9, we see Kawaki with some white doves. White doves mean peace, new beginnings, love etc. So could it mean that Kawaki finally finds peace?
Maybe after the battle between him and Boruto and if they both survive, he helps Boruto and lives a new life of peace, similar to Sasuke, but instead stay in the village.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In opening 10, it shows Kawaki having red eyes.
Now, this is a wild theory, but could Kawaki have relations to the Uchiha clan?
Even in one of the manga covers, he has red eyes, just like Sarada's.
This could foreshadow KawaSara, or Kawaki just has relations to them.
Tumblr media
Finally, opening 10 shows Boruto in the rain alone. This could mean someone he cares about died.
Sumire, for example, especially after everything that we've already gone over.
Or Naruto and Hinata's "deaths". Or even Sasuke's (those are the people I think are most closest to him who have a bigger chance of dying).
I think I've missed some, I don't really watch the endings, so there's probably more, but for now, this is it. If I find out more foreshadowing, I'll make a new post.

Cliff Notes for Chapter 11
Tumblr media
Boruto makes his dramatic entrance, and the first words out of his mouth are to tell Konohamaru to keep Himawari safe. My man has his priorities straight.
Konohamaru gives Boruto a hard time, but Sarada shuts him down, reminding her old teacher that Boruto literally saved her life a second ago.
Meanwhile, Kawaki and Delta are levitating over the field where Himawari got her butt kicked. They see Toupee Man (Jura) but nobody else. Kawaki realizes that Boruto teleported their sister away, and now he has to fly all the way back to Konoha.
Boruto confirms Sarada's theory that yes, the tree-man who looks like her father and fights like her father is, in fact, related to her father.
Konohamaru is suspicious and tries to interrogate Boruto, who tells him to pay attention to the damn fight. Talking is not a free action here.
Notsuke (Hidari) comes back with some TenTails clones. Boruto and Sarada do some cool fighting, and Boruto's rasengan wounds Notsuke enough that he retreats into the claws.
We see how Notsuke is healing: He's been teleporting to the evil lair, and the tree fills up his gaping flesh wounds with wood. Except the wood is more like putty and becomes 100% healed flesh.
Notsuke comes back. Sarada and Konohamaru defend Boruto while he charges up the Planet Chakra - ie. the vertigo jutsu.
To be fair, Boruto doesn't hold back his Planet Chakra attack this time, so it looks a lot more impressive and basically rips Notsuke up into tiny pieces.
Notsuke's disembodied head falls to the ground, and Kawaki shows up at the last second to one-shot him and take all the credit. Notsuke then turns into seed-thing that looks like a spiky black garlic bulb.
Boruto shoves the bulb in his frog buddy's face. Kashin Koji has some kind of jutsu that lets him view the situation through the frog's eyes, and he confirms Boruto has what's called a thorn soul bulb.
Kawaki demands an explanation, and Boruto says with a 100% straight face: "I was told it's something that will save my master...who was turned into a tree."
Before they can use the thorn soul bulb, however, Toupee Man reveals he has a sniper jutsu. He shoots Boruto, then Sarada, then levitates the Notsuke's bulb back into his waiting palm. He then declares that Boruto knows too much and needs to die.
