Ghosts have many different subspecies, each with different traits and skills. Danny is half ghost, but if you wanted to be precise, he is half banshee/siren. Ever since his death, Danny has had a natural talent for singing and finds great enjoyment from it. Sometimes he just can't help himself and needs to belt out a tune to someone.

After high school, Danny decides to pursue a career in music. It let's him sing to his cores content without getting odd looks and puts some cash in his pocket so honestly there isn't really a downside. In order to get some extra practice in and gain more exposure, he has a youtube series where he walks around and asks people if he can sing for them.

Its while making one of these that Danny comes across DC character of your choosing and gets an urge to sing so overpowering that they barely have time to say yes before Danny is singing the most beautiful, powerful performance he ever has in his (un)life.

By the time the song is over, DC character is extremely flustered.

just got home from seeing miles and oh my GODDDDD. so much to unpack. SO MUCH. i’ll do a proper post tomorrow when my brain is remotely coherent again, but for now the headlines: he is (as always) absolutely fucking incredible live; i had not one but TWO super awkward run ins with him before the gig even started; i will never recover from hearing shavambacu; there was a VERY interesting moment when he was introducing “see ya when i see ya”; and, in the least creepy way possible, i may or may not now know what it’s like to be spat on by miles kane mid performance 🫠

This is the song we were waiting for from Liam. I think this was really his sound and we didn’t get to hear it while he was still with us and give him his well deserved praise. I know Liam was a complex person, people have their opinions of him, but it is an irrefutable fact that he was a MUSICIAN. He was an incredibly talented vocalist and song writer and could do it all. We miss you so much, Liam. I know you’re in a better place, where you don’t have to suffer and where you can always look over and protect Bear.
