its so frustrating how a lot of scu fans cant handle other sonic fans not having the exact same taste in sonic media that they do. like i feel like you can say something negative about literally any other sonic media on here and people generally wouldnt care that much but the second you say anything less than positive about the movies people start getting all weird about it and trying to argue with you ive had it happen to me and seen it happen to others as well .... like the sonic franchise is very big and has many different media types and writing styles not everyone is going to uncritically love everything. get over it ? im not trying to be mean but idk what else to tell you

I want to see a Curse Kakashi in the jjk x naruto cross over fics instead of Obito. I mean, the Uchihas from what the fandom and the anime/mangs showed up would make it apparent that Obito would be a cursed spirit if given the chance in the jjk world. Which, yeah I get it, but like, I want to see a Curse Kakashi haunting a Sourcer/Human Obito instead of the other way around

I mean, yes Obito has resentment and grief and just all the negative emotions to be a curse spirit and be OP as shit with everything and just haunting Kakashi cus being in another world doesn't mean he can escape his best friend/teammate/love interest/whatever-at-this-point haunting him from the grave. But I would also like to point out that so does Kakashi

I mean, yeah, you can argue that Kakahi has some sort of settlement of his feelings and trauma after the fourth war, but it doesn't mean all his emotions about those memories are gone as well. Sometimes, difficult events in life force you to accept them and move on or push them aside to focus on more important things. I'm not saying everyone does this, but from Kakashi's perspective, his whole life was repeatedly dragging him down. Death of loved ones, failures that changed the course of his life, questions of loyalty, betrayal, guilt, regests, and the constant what-ifs that are sure to haunt him from time to time. He is a shinobi, he wakes up to nightmares of blood and words from dead loved ones, he sees his loved ones come back from the dead, he himself died as well, only to face another war and get appointed a job he never wanted in the first place.

I'm just saying, any point in time in kakashi's life you can pluck him from the naruto verse and place him in jjk to be a curse of some kind.

“requiem for methuselah” crazy ass episode for many reasons. Kirk is being fully insane, like I don’t actually think, even controlling for how quickly and easily and readily he seems to fall in love with anybody at the slightest encouragement, that he’d go that bonkers for that android woman he just met while everyone on the ship was this close to dying, but that’s neither here nor there, because in the background you’ve got an equally but much more subtly insane episode for Spock, who extremely uncharacteristically admits to experiencing an emotion (or nearly experiencing, whatever) and that emotion is ENVY of all things. And then spends the rest of the episode warning Kirk away from this new love interest (something that doesn’t usually happen, even when Kirk has very inadvisable love interests) and is, in the end, the person who accurately identifies that Rayna’s competing love for Kirk and Flint is ultimately what overwhelms and destroys her with the most killer line in maybe history???

And then to wrap it up we get an equally uncharacteristic sort of denouement scene (TOS loooves to cut an episode off right after the actual climax, leaving little time for falling action or character reflection, or to stick a sitcom-y button on the end where the gang all smiles and laughs at their misadventures and everything resets to zero, which is not a criticism, it’s just the style of that era of tv, honestly) where Kirk is literally miserable over Rayna’s death (again, kind of unusual for a lot of his love interests, he tends to be able to move on pretty quickly) and Spock goes to see him and he falls asleep right in front of Spock (also odd) and then when Bones comes in to give the final word on Flint, Spock waves him off from waking the Captain (tender) and Bones gives him that awful speech about how it’s sadder that Spock can’t even imagine the love Kirk felt for this random android woman than it is that Kirk lost her in the first place (debatable but also rude) and how his great tragedy is that he can’t love at all like they can and how all he wishes is that Kirk could forget about all of this and move on. AND THEN, to have Bones leave and Spock go over to Kirk and very gently, tenderly, reluctantly touch him and put his hand to his forehead and tell him to forget and HAVE THAT BE THE END OF THE EPISODE??? What am I supposed to do with that??

Top five time travel movies/books! :D

See, the trouble is that while I love time travel as a concept, I haven't actually explored the genre that much. I haven't watched/read most of the time travel stories out there, sometimes because I just haven't gotten to it, other times because I'm very picky about content, other times because most of the time travel stories I run across are either "we're a bureaucratic agency dedicated to policing time travel" or "oh, no, what if we change history?" or "I fell in love with a hunky Highlander", none of which are the parts of time travel stories that interest me.

The most accurate version of this list would be a list of Doctor Who episodes (and maybe some Star Trek ones), but you specified movies and books, which is going to make this a much more difficult list to create.

The Day of the Doctor: Haha, I cheated, because Day of the Doctor was released in theaters, which makes it a movie! (So I can use it as a stand-in for all the Doctor Who episodes that are my favorite time travel stories). Thankfully, it's a fantastic time travel story and one of my favorites. It's a genius blend of both "stable timeline" and "changeable timeline" mechanics. Three different interweaving timelines. References to A Christmas Carol. Changing major events in the show's past without changing the timeline that resulted from them at all. A rejection once and for all of the "ends justify the means" mindset that had lingered over the reboot for too long. A masterpiece.

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens: It's the classic Christmas story for a reason--and one of those reasons is the time travel. Going with Scrooge across decades of his own life and watching him undergo character development from that is a great use of time travel. (And there happens to be a great Doctor Who version, too!)

Star Trek: First Contact: It's fun when you get characters traveling from the future to a different time that's also in the future. Love all the worldbuilding details of these characters interacting with their past/our fictional future, and it's a pretty good story.

Shadowhand by Anne Elisabeth Stengl: The Tales of Goldstone Wood series has a structure unlike any I've ever seen in fantasy, and this book is the reason. The first three books in the series are in chronological order. The next two books are prequels that take place like a thousand years earlier. This book, the sixth, involves characters from the later time period time-traveling to meet characters from the earlier time period, and getting swept up in a legend that they've known since childhood. I remember very little about the book beyond that, but it's such a cool concept (with an unforgettable ending moment) that I have to put it on the list.

Love Strikes Twice: It's one of the very rare Hallmark movies that's actually a decent movie by normal movie standards, so I have to give it credit. Instead of the usual boring time travel plot of "oh no, what if we change history?", we get someone who's trying to change history, who does change history, and it's a good thing. The time travel mechanics surrounding that make no sense, but who cares? It's a fun story with an engaging cast, legitimately funny jokes, a sweet romance, and a solid plot.

Tbh, no, I don't really think I have headcanons for main 5 dynamics? What I do have are character dynamic analysis of what I've seen presented throughout the show. I write them down to sort of inspire me when I write or, like, to remind myself of character dynamics so I don't have to rewatch the show or certain episodes all the time when I write lol

Like, for instance, Butters’ and Cartman's friendship. I have like a whole rambling exploration of how they interact with one another and how they work together as characters. An example is that I talk a lot about how they genuinely work as friends because they both have a lot in common. I know a lot of the fandom sees their friendship as abusive but I personally see it as more them having a lot in common and that's why they interact a lot.

Butters is a savy businessman. He's been proven of being capable in with his pimping business, outsmarting Cartman with the hot dog business, and his future self, Chaos Victor.

Leopold is also capable of becoming the “villain” of the story, similar to Eric, as depicted in “The World Wide Privacy Tour” and the whole Weiners Out debacle.

Leopold is a cutie patootie and, the majority of the time, the butt of the joke, however, that doesn't erase him also being a capable schemer and misogynistic and I think that's why his friendship with Cartman works so well.

So yeah, that's what I mean by not really having headcanons about main five dynamics lol. I more than anything have character dynamic/relationship analysis that I keep as references haha.

I also pick up on what they've done together in canon and reference that. Like, all of them having board game night at Stan’s, Cartman and Kyle having similar music taste, Stan Kenny and Leopold hanging out without Kyle and Cartman when it pertains to the band, Stan Cartman Kenny and Leopold all playing video games together when Kyle is too busy doing something else (freaking out about the Prince and Princess moving across his street). I keep interactions like those in my back pocket and reference them throughout my writing

Then, sometimes, I get ideas for an interaction between some of the main five and use those analysis as reference lmaoo wow this sounds so boring of me omg
