*If you've only attempted it once (and did it well), and believe you could succeed the next time, select this option
**This could either mean assembled some well and some not-so-well, or assembled it in a flawed but usable manner
***If you've only tried once, failed, and believe you would fail again, still select this option

I drew for @hamstercheese7's piece in the @opmetgalazine and now im gonna ramble
ham wanted each Rev army member to have high fashion artsy protest outfits inspired by different issues surrounding the OP world. My job was to figure it out while keeping the character silhouettes of each to keep them instantly recognizable despite the censorship portrayed in the article. and bc i wanted to keep the censorship i naturally couldnt show the actual fits so anyway:
morley's was inspired by leather bdsm fetish gear x actual prison gear with all the cuffs and chains, pointiness and leather. "Prison themes could be a little inspired by both genderqueer fashion and the black panthers" as ham said except i took that literally. i mean impel down does have a gay club in its walls
betty's is inspired by Hunger Pains and of course the iconic Lady Gaga meat dress. meant to satirize the unfair distribution of food resources in favor of the wealthy who just uses it as a fashion statement yada yada im not a worder. the deliberate choice of lack of color for this spread robbed this one the most but blame the government. favorite detail is the rib cage hook closure pattern
iva's was the last i did and on hindsight the easiest. ham mentioned wanting a fishmen rights statement piece and ofc iva's entire fishnet getup was an easy translation. favorite detail i had to bend over backward to show is the harpoon heel
other ideas for characters i couldnt fit:
- Dragon in channel-esque thom browne design for over militarization
- karasu 'plight of the poor' statement piece i was imagining smth like Cruella (2021) garbage truck dress
- sabo/koala in caricatured french noble fits pre-revolution

someone pls save me i’m thinking of kabru teaching laios how to kiss fully expecting him to be kinda bad at it but he’s actually pretty good and surprisingly gentle for how big he his and oh wow he’s really really into it but still so obviously shy and mindful of not taking too much, putting kabru’s comfort first and letting him lead despite his own eagerness, so kabru throws him a bone and whispers ‘you’re doing really well’ but what he’s actually thinking is you’re probably the best kiss i’ve ever had and oh no suddenly three hours have passed and this is all they’ve been doing and kabru’s head is such a mess

I came up with the idea for today's love fest over the weekend when I saw a lot of comments from people expressing sadness about the cancellation, and then also some embarrassment for feeling that way, or feeling alone in their emotions. I wanted to do something positive that felt personal and that would remind people that fandom isn't going anywhere.
Originally I thought to do it a few days after the WJW with DJenks, figuring we'd need another boost after that high wore off. Obviously the WJW didn't end up happening, but then I realized it was Rhys' birthday today, so that also felt like a great reason to spread a bit of love (not that you ever need a reason for that!).
And honestly, while the whole point was to make other people smile, the whole experience really boosted my own spirits tremendously. While stalking perusing everyone's blogs for inspo, I was reminded quite powerfully just how many extremely kind, talented, smart, funny, insightful, beautiful people there are in this fandom.
So I just want to say thank you. All of you who create gifs, make art, write fic, analyze the show, share shit posts, or reblog all of the above so we can see it again and again and again, you have made a difference in my fandom experience. With every post, you made me fall in love with Ed and Stede and the whole crew just a little bit more. Whether you're someone who's always in the tags or someone who prefers to quietly reblog, you have made my time here very special and I'm so grateful. 💕

Lots of good posts about the AO3 situation going around and I just want to add:
If you find that you are distressed about not being able to access the stories that you love, tell the authors of those stories once the archive is up again! Tell them you missed them, tell them you were in the middle of one of their fics when it went down and not being able to click the Next Chapter button was agonizing, tell them all of the things you appreciate about their writing. If you're relying on artists (that includes fanfic writers!) for joy or comfort or pleasure or distraction or any other positive experience, they want to hear about it! That will make them happy, too!
