my mom was gifted this raggedy ann doll from an acquaintance a year or so ago. she works with children and is used to receiving gifts like these so she thought nothing of it, until she started to showing up in her nightmares that she would have for days, even weeks on end. she wanted it out of her room so she gave it to me instead (this used to be my favorite childhood toy, so i was more than happy to take it).

a few days later she told me the night terrors stopped and is absolutely convinced this thing is haunted. haven't had any doll-related nightmares ever since she's been in my room, so i don't know what kind of beef she has with my mom...🤷🏽‍♀️

🌞 My newest obsessions..

..are these dolls. OH MY GOD!!

This is the doll I got last year that I've absolutely loved and has gotten me through quite a bit in the time I've had her. Of course.. my inner self had to braid her hair as well as give her some clothes, so she wouldn't be too naked. Also added affirmations and intentions to 2 of her pockets and some little worms in her belly pocket. Her name is Ginger! 💕

and now comes these two beauties:

I already know the personality of this one and how she differs from her other sisters. I think she will be named Mary, and for clothes?? She will wear something pink or purple and very frilly like a poofy dress.. or she will wear something pink with a dinosaur on it. I'm definitely going to do her hair too!! A few braided pieces here and there with some charms and little beads in some of the braids too! Unsure if they'll go in pigtails either. I can't wait to get started!

This one?? I am unsure of what their names are yet, but I know they both have opposite personalities... one is more social and the other is a bit of a introvert, as it were. I have yet to figure out what to put on them either. Maybe something of my own making?? We will have to see on this one, as there is so many possibilities! ❤️

Also?? The person who makes these dolls is an absolutely wonderful human being. I don't think she has a tumblr, but I do know she definitely has an instagram!!! If you find her at craftyvoyages?? you're set!! I recommend to anyone who is into plushies or dolls like I am.

All her stuff is made from recycled materials too! She told me the blue doll was made out of a vintage 50's dress that she tore up and put together to make them. ☮️ 12/10 highly recommend. I may even have a custom made doll done from her, provided I have the funds to do it next month!! 💸 Here's to hoping, right??

A doll of a friend's OC that I did for Christmas for her. His name is Cordie and he was a lot of fun to puzzle out. Didn't have a pattern for a hoodie, so I winged it a little, but I love how he turned out.
