Thank you for being such an ispiration over the years.

i am strong, yes. 

i would never describe myself as weak. 

i am patient 

but i will not have a one sided relationship

i will not give you all i have if you refuse to put in any effort. 

i am not angry. i am hurt and disappointed with the lack care and disrespect you repeatedly treat me with. i would do anything for you but there are only so many allowances i will give you if you continue to hurt me.

i am not infallible. 

i feel as deeply as you do. 

logically i understand why you lash out, but sometimes logic isn’t enough.

even when i understand where your anger comes from i can’t help but feel it. 

and i can feel the sharp pain of uncertainty hours later.  

you take me for granted and yes that hurts. truly hurts. 

i see you treat me with the same hostility as those you despise. 

you are angry at the world and though i know that doesn't include me, it doesn’t hurt any less.
