She hit Vi and that in itself should have been addressed SO FAST. but no, upon them reuniting Caitlyn gets to HIT HER AGAIN. And no it doesn't matter to me that "iT wAs tHeIr pLan" shut the fuck up. They did not talk about anything, Vi was just fine with it, it's so idiotic.

Not only that but they also made a joke out of Vi in that situation? I'm sorry and maybe I'm alone in this but I don't find Vi malnourished, with an alcohol addiction and obvious struggles funny??? The writers were SO insensitive about that I really do NOT care.

Ok but can we talk about how symbolic Neil’s character design is?

There are his scars, which more or less symbolize his entire character arc. In the beginning of the books he tries his hardest to hide and deny them, then slowly shows them to Andrew, and eventually the foxes when he physically can’t hide them anymore. In the same way, he hides and denies the truth of his past, then slowly tells Andrew (and Kevin), and then tells the rest of the Foxes when he simply couldn’t avoid their questions any further. And now, after the books, anyone passing by can see his scars, can learn about his past.

Then there’s the color of his eyes and his hair, symbolizing who he becomes as a person. Brown and black in the beginning of the book because he tried his hardest to be unremarkable. And he was quiet, unassuming, just like his coloring. Then Auburn and ice blue at the end of the book. A striking and unforgettable combination, just like how Neil himself eventually becomes unapologetic and hard to forget.

Like can you imagine if Neil had brown hair? Nothing against brown haired people obviously, but making him a redhead was such a genius move. You could say it also works cause it’s the closest thing to orange and, you know, foxes are orange.

This man is imprinted in my head and the way his exterior and interior correlate so beautifully makes me wanna scream.

DAY TWO: RELATIONSHIPS

The gut punch of Paul singing right after the fake-out that he survived. The realization that it was all for nothing and the entire world, including Emma, is doomed at his hands. THE WAY THE MEANING OF WHAT HE'S SAYING COMPLETELY CHANGES WHEN HE FINISHES THE THOUGHT.

I know Paul's been Apotheosised for quite a while by that time, but it almost feels like the first few words are what remains of the actual Paul communicating his final thoughts to Emma, his sorrow that he failed her. And then he's gone for as good Apotheosis Paul takes the reigns and sets out, ever so inevitably, to get what he wants and save Emma Perkins.

Until the situation is solved I just can’t be part of the fandom atm. I’m already painfully traumatized as is. I have enough going on in life. I don’t need more shit like this

It’s genuinely given me nightmares and taken a toll on my health, since fibromyalgia reacts to stress. What a way to start my thanksgiving break. Just peachy huh?
