You guys ever think about an AU where The Arcane Order shows up during the Eternal Night to team up with Morgana again and she’s like:
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’VE REPLACED ME WITH MY HALF-WIT BROTHER?!"
And Arthur’s got a shit eating grin in the background.

Shitpost #5
(I’d be the scariest Trollhunter, not because I’m actually intimidating but because I’m a fucking weirdo.)
Draal: I just want to wail on you again-
Me: come at me bro, I was into that.
Draal: …
Draal: I… I don’t think I want to kick your ass anymore.
(Or worse-)
*In the darklands arc-*
Gunmar: You shall be broken, and take my son’s place-!
Me: so you want me to call you daddy?
Gunmar: … nvm, y’all can take it back, I don’t want that thing anymore—

Hi Pinky
a Quiz
What made Strickler admire and fall in Love with Barbara
What made Claire falls in Love with Jim
and Darci with toby.
and a bonus one might be a bit Controversial but what's the deal with Autistic Strickler?
cuz i seen this a lot
I think the thing that made Strickler fall in love with Barbara was her strong personality, her kindness and compassion, her ability to make every coherent thought in Strickler’s head complete mush. And most importantly, she loved him for himself, for the real, troll him. (she will also not hesitate to beat him up, which he ardently admires.
Claire fell in love with Jim for his awkward, clumsy and endearing personality, after finding out he was the Trollhunter, she also fell in love with his selfless and forgiving nature, something she admits to struggle with.
I think Darci fell in love with Toby, or began to, when he didn't try and impress her and just was himself. She likes how non judging Toby is, and how he can always use humour to cool any situation.
As for the autistic! Strickler thing... That's just a headcanon me and several others have hypothesised based on Strickler’s cluelessness when it comes to actual social interactions, (like with his failed attempt at a apology to Barbara) his tendency to stim (fiddling with his pen/knives, leaning on tables) his special interests (human history, dark magic) and obsession with being clean and tidy (his outfit in human form and hair, in troll form the neatness of his claws, slicked back hair and shiny white tusks, he clearly looks after both forms).

Finally, the climax.
This is very late, for which I apologize. My motivation to write has admittedly been very low as of late. I am dealing with some rather depressing life events, so the final chapter may be delayed further. I'll do my best.

Give us the 600+ word wall of lore!
Okay, *cracks knuckles* we're gonna rewrite 3below, Wizards, (a bit of Trollhunters) and make their lore more overarching and actually work together.
Seklos and Gaylen were initially part of the Arcane Order. They along with Bellroc, Skrael, and Nari were pieces of the five primordial, elemental beings that initially created the Earth and everything on it. They are all the same kind of creature/beings and all have cores.
They worked together to create the planet and everything on it until they got into an argument over how their world should work and how they should take care of it. Nari, Bellroc, and Skrael sided with each other while Seklos and Galen sided against them. Inevitably from this argument, Seklos and Gaylen left Earth to make their own planet, taking their elements with them. With the sudden loss of two of it's elements the earth fell apart, leaving Nari, Skrael, and Bellroc to scramble and keep it held together as much as they could with their own elements.
The exertion of energy to keep the planet together was heavy on the remaining Arcane Order, and just before falling into a deep slumber, they created the Genesis Seals, an item that with all five of their elements, would be able to put their planet back together as it initially was created. Bellroc, Skrael, and Nari were all certain Seklos and Gaylen would eventually return to Earth.
Deep in space, far from Earth, Seklos and Gaylen find their own little spot and use the elements of their cores to create Akiridion-5 and it's moons. Together they use their cores to make it's first people and live their lives. Time passes and Seklos and Gaylen find themselves once again in a disagreement over how their world should work and how they should take care of it, only this time, Seklos creates her gun and reduces Gaylen to nothing but his core. She hides away his core, keeping it safe and keeping his element on the planet while running things her way.
Seklos creates more Akiridion people using her core (As per my Ak-5 reproduction headcanon explained here), whittling it down more and more until it is a fraction of what it initially was. With such little core left, Seklos grows ill and dies, her remaining core splitting into 4 pieces and making four descendants who become 4 royal houses of Akiridion-5. The Akiridion royals inherit the planet and cycle through their houses to rule over the planet and guard Gaylen's core. Over the ages, two of the royal houses die out, leaving Akraohm and Ventis left, who inevitably unite into House Tarron.
Trollhunters takes place, and like in 3below, Queen Coranda and King Fialkov decide to take Gaylen's core to Earth to hide it away from thieves who want to use it's power. When Jim defeats Bular, Kanjigar and Vendel finally trust him enough to tell him about Gaylen's core, and when the Hearthstone is destroyed and Trollmarket has to leave, Jim takes Gaylen's core with him to guard it (Merlin uses his magic to shrink it down to a more manageable size). None of them know the full extent as to when it is or what it does, simply that they have to protect it.
3below takes place, Morando finding Gaylen's core through Toby and manages to steal it from Jim and use it's power. 3below finale happens with Aja and Krel building Seklos' gun and using their parent's cores to kill Morando and leave Gaylen as his core once again. The use of their two elements in the battle is large enough that Nari, Skrael, and Bellroc finally awaken from their slumber, certain that Seklos and Gaylen have returned to put their planet back in one piece with all five of it's elements
Begin Wizards.
Bellroc, Nari, and Skrael all head to Arcadia, looking for Seklos and Gaylen, and then the Genesis seals.
Each of our Protagonists of the 3 series represents one of those pieces to fulfill the Arcane Order's plan.
Jim - Gaylen (the protector of his core)
Aja & Krel - Seklos (Her last direct descendants)
Douxie - The Genesis Seals (Merlin found the seals at one point and hid them inside Douxie)
The Arcane Order need to find Jim, fuse Aja and Krel's cores together to make them into Seklos again, and break the seal hidden in Douxie (killing him) in order to make their five element planet whole again. The result of which will destroy Earth and Akiridion-5 and all it's current inhabitants to fuse to two planets together and restart them as one.
Wizards kinda becomes what it originally was  described as, (mixed with a bit of RoTT as well)
Tumblr media
With our Trollhunters, Akiridions, and Wizards all trying to run from and thwart the Arcane Order so the planets remain as is. The time travel plot is removed.
(There's a bit of Akridion-5 lore and history I left out that requires it's own post and has some diagrams I want to draw to explain it. This fills in some small gaps from my summary -such as who the thieves are supposed to be. There also some more spoilerly elements to my Wizards rewrite that I left out since I plan to write this as a fanfic)

Out of curiosity, do you ever plan on continuing What the Night Brings or no? It's fine if you don't want to. I was just curious.
i want to continue and don't plan on abandoning it. i really burned myself out over the last year and was stuck trying to write myself out of a corner, so i just stopped rather than forcing it. i'm letting my dry spell run its course (however long it takes) and then i'll gradually ease myself back into it. i think i just needed a break from tales of arcadia for a while, let my creativity refresh

so i remember you saying that we dont talk about the hilda tie-in books, but im curious if you know if the information inside is canon at all? (like the dates or currencies used) i cant find a straight answer to this online so im wondering if you might know
(lmao I just said that because, even though I haven't read them myself, I've seen stuff about how the portrayals of all the characters are shitty and Jo, Frida, and David are just sorta straight-up abusive towards Hilda)
(I know there's a couple posts floating about detailing all of that but I don't think I've rb'd them and I'm a little too tired to go looking rn sorry)
Disregarding the editing of show canon (events/characters), I think you could consider worldbuilding info canon? Secondary canon, at least, when stuff in the tie-in novels doesn't contradict show canon (primary canon). I.e, if the tie-in novels call the currency kroner (which I think they do? Not sure on that) and the show doesn't contradict that, you can consider it canon, same as with dates.
In my opinion, until show canon states otherwise, you can consider official secondary canon (the tie-in novels as official publications) canon. HOWEVER, this is fandom and you can do whatever you want, so if you want to splice together primary canon and secondary canon, go for it!
