Retro Futuristic Trains in the City - V6 - Pt 3
These were made using the same or similar prompt as Pt 2 but with various Style Reference images mixed in.

Referring to Arya's development in Braavos as "brief descriptions" when her AFfC/ADwD chapters are almost entirely dedicated to showing us her training is...certainly a choice. Doing so to claim that Sansa has the more detailed learning arc? Pure clownery. You'd never guess from this response that the original post was about detailing Arya's training with the FM (using quotes from the book!) and makes no mention of Sansa anywhere. Notably this response provides no evidence from the books and makes objectively false claims; nowhere across five books is Sansa mentioned to have a grasp of High Valyrian but, of course, Sansa has to be handed every skill that Arya has without any page space dedicated to learning it. I know this is a wild concept, but Arya exists as her own character and not everything about her story can be applied to Sansa.

One of our favorite pieces of artwork depicting a part of our grand rail system is featured here on the cover of a promotional pamphlet full of activities and information for people visiting New York courtesy of us. The New York Central Building was our headquarters until the bitter end, and it is rendered beautifully here dominating park avenue. It is (illegitimately) called The Helmsley Building today. On the table of contents a banner image containing the New York Central Mercury, a streamlined 4-6-2 introduced in 1936.

I definitely believe that the US should improve it's infrastructure and public transportation, but also we should bring back Streamliner Trains. Because come on, look at these things.

This is the Mercury that was in service from 1936 - 1959. But god damn, imagine seeing this thing pull up in the station.

Even the Zephyrs, despite not having the most out there design compared to others look incredible! Like... we should go back to this. Make cool as fuck trains because they rule and are actually super beneficial to the climate, infrastructure, and public transportation.

Sometimes I question my autism diagnosis because my experience isn't entirely in line with those of other autistic people's and then I go to my job at the train museum and take one quick glance at a photo in a box of archival images and immediately and correctly identify a specific GG1 locomotive from the shape of the nose around the headlight

Silly unfinished sketch of what I think the Mallard (the steam train that holds the world speed record for steam locomotives) would look like in starlight express
