pairing -> gamer!riki x beauty influencer!fem reader

synopsis -> you hated gamers. riki hated ulzzang’s (except you). so after weeks of fighting to be the top streamer, (and riki’s poor attempts to charm you), he suggests to collaborate so you could both be number one. you tried to keep it professional. but the more time you spent producing content together, the more you realized just how much nishimura riki really meant to you.

“is it recording?” you whisper to jungwon as he holds the camera up in front of you. he shakes his head in response, before holding up 3 fingers to count down.

“hello yn nation, riki nation, and diors angels enthusiasts alike! this is yn, @/ynschoices or @/ynschoice on all platforms,” you pause, waiting for riki to introduce himself. “and this is riki. @/nishiriki2005 on all platforms.”

“today is episode two of the theme park archives! where essentially, we just go to different theme parks and rate rides, eat good food, vlog, etc etc.” you start off, before gesturing for riki to continue the introduction.

“oh, right! so we are here at universal studios hollywood. as you know, i was the guest on the last episode at disneyland. so of course, we are introducing a new member today.” riki finished, before flashing a slight smile.

you took the camera out of jungwon’s hands, flipping it around so it would face him.

“jungwon nation! this is yang jungwon, @/yanggoyang on streamlab or twitter.” he cheered, while waving, greeting the viewers.

“first, we’re gonna head to super nintendo world. so, l-e-t-s g-o!”

“that’s what we decided to call it? theme park archives?” riki asked as the recording ended. “yeah. don’t worry about it.” you pout.

even though your camera was nearly confiscated, you were still able to obtain a few clips of the three of you on the mario kart themed ride.

one of which, (of course), showed jungwon squealing in delight as you reached the ‘rainbow road’ part of the ride. it was a memory you knew the three of you would be fond of, and one the fans would enjoy.

“so, jungwon, how was your ride experience as a mario kart enthusiast?” riki asked jungwon as he waved the camera in his face.

“it was absolutely amazing! we have to go back before we leave. the rainbow road part was so trippy, but i loved it. 10/10 experience, yn nation, i heavily recommend this ride.” jungwon spoke, tapping the camera lens.

“where should we go next?” you asked, as riki pulled the camera strap over your head, so you could wear it as a crossbody.

“let’s go ride that 3d transformers ride!” jungwon exclaimed.

“i’ll race you there?” riki posed an offer. “okay, 3, 2- hey, not fair! you cheated!” jungwon grumbled as riki ran ahead before the countdown.

you sighed as they raced through the crowd, running to be first before the other. quickly, you tried to pick up the pace, but couldn’t catch up to their speed. especially since they were at an advantage in height. so, you settled to continue speed walking.

but, you stopped when you heard someone call out your name. a girl, appearing to be around 15-17 approached you.

“excuse me yn? im such a big fan. i was wondering if i could get a picture with you? unless you’re in a rush, because if not i totally understand-”

“of course you could. no worries.” you politely ended her rant, before smiling softly.

she pulled out a pocket sized digital camera and posed beside you. “thank you so much, have a good trip! also, i don’t know if this is out of line or anything, but i think you and ni-ki are really cute together.” the girl chuckled, before walking back to her friends.

you left with a smile. riki was definitely gonna hear about this later.

“y/n, can you get me a frozen butterbeer?” riki asked, as he began to pull out his wallet.

“yeah of course. and don’t worry, it’s my treat.” you smiled, before getting up from the bench the three of you sat on. “i’ll be quick.”

riki watched you walk away, making sure you were out of sight. “so listen, jungwon. i’m planning to confess to y/n later, and i kind of want to have her alone for this. so….” he trailed off.

“are you serious? i can’t be left alone!” jungwon pouted.

“we’ll just leave you in springfield! and then we can stop for donuts on the way back home.” riki offered.

“no, i wanna go to k-town in west hollywood.” jungwon negotiated. “that butterbeer maxed out my sugar limit for the day.”

“alright, we can do that.” riki shrugged. “but you should start to get going now.”

“what are you gonna tell y/n?” “just that you met up with some friends.”

“alright. good luck man.” jungwon sighed as he stood up, before patting riki’s shoulder.

soon after, you came back with two frozen butterbeers in hand. “where’d jungwon go?” you questioned.

“he went to meet up with some high school friends by the simpsons ride. but we’ll see him later.” riki shrugged while he took a sip from his cup.

“let’s go on the jurassic park water ride then?” you suggested.

“look at the dinosaurs!” you exclaimed. “they’re just robots..” riki huffed, as the ride came to a stop, before making a sharp turn.

“you’re such a pessimist riki.” you rolled your eyes.

suddenly, the ride progressed into a more indoor atmosphere, and the lights flashed red.

“you know there’s a drop, right?” you informed.

“how high?” “about 90 feet.”

“shit.” riki cursed under his breath.

now or never. he thought.

“y/n, there’s something i wanted to tell you. and i didn’t know how to say it, but now i do.” riki confessed.

“what did you wanna say?” you hum.

the ride accelerated, progressing quickly towards the dark tunnel at the end of the scene.

"i wanted to tell you how much i like you. and that i was hoping you'd feel the same." he spat out in one quick breath.

you turned to meet his hazy gaze with a shocked expression on your face. “what?” your eyes widened.

riki quickly moved his fingers off the railing, and went to grab onto your hand. the t-rex animatronic dropped down and roared out loud, as the ride began to tip further over the edge, before finally accelerating down the steep slope.

“i like you choi y/n! i really do!” riki yelled over the loud noise of the artificial waterfall, gripping onto you tighter as he felt like he almost flew out his seat due to the 90° angle drop.

the ride quickly stopped, and a big wave of water crashed over the two of you because you decided to sit up front.

you and riki turned to face each other with deep eye contact, before breaking out into an fit of laughter. the two of you were soaking wet, but you didn’t care, you were just having a good time.

“did you mean it?” you asked.

“every last word.” riki mumbled, before you pulled him into a soft kiss.

your hand reached up to grip his shoulder as riki began to deepen the kiss, sighing against your lips.

but then you realized. you were in public. the park was near closing time, meaning there were few people around you.. meaning that they were just watching.

you pulled away from riki, grimacing as a droplet of water dropped down from his hair, and onto your nose.

riki grew shy as he turned around, noticing how most of the people around you two now had their eyes focused on him. he moved closer to you, pressing his head against yours while you leaned on one another.

“jungwon isn’t meeting up with friends, is he?” you asked with a raised brow. “no, i got rid of him. but we compromised.” riki said with a proud smile, as you walked out the exit.

“i like you too by the way.” you mumbled, as the two of headed towards the escalator to go back up to the main part of the park.

“i know.” riki assured while he wrapped his arm around you, after giving you his sweater. “i know..” he muttered again, before pressing a final kiss on the side of your head, as you leaned closer against him.

Friends and Family

After many, many long years… Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven… has retired, actually!

Our lovable Sage is kicking around wherever he pleases (with a strange shadow following him about), leisurely traveling the world and enjoying everything that it has to offer. He stops for fans and scholars alike, signing autographs and answering questions.

The ginger-furred simian especially enjoys visiting different zoos and aquariums to admire the animals- and they seem to like him, too. Old Sun also stops by local pastry shops pretty often, looking for something sweet and made of peaches. He’s got his photo hung on at least two dozen walls by now.

He’s got a pretty good thing going now. Wukong is more than content- he’s happy.

Of course, our powerful King’s not just going to leave an entire life behind.

He’s got a new kiddo to dote on, after all!

Yeah, this man adores you. Every other week or so he’ll come zooming in on his mystic cloud, blazing into view with a shower of vaporous mist trailing behind him.

‘Sun Yeye’, as he’ll frequently call himself, comes bearing gifts and stories. He’s in a better place both mentally and socially, and he’s grown more comfortable with physical contact- somewhat. He’ll ruffle your hair and ply you with something expensive or unhealthy, then bound off to chat with his loyal monkey subjects.

And… there’s someone with him?

As ever, this little rat is mostly unrepentant and prone to lurking about in the shadows. Still training and eavesdropping and scheming, just a little less cruel about it.

He’s slowly becoming a better person, off journeying with Wukong and learning about everything he’d missed while stuck in the underworld.

But Macaque doesn’t get to have ‘cool uncle/granddad’ title that the Monkey King has been bestowed, I’m afraid. After all, where Wukong was willing to accept his wrongs and shortcomings and actively work on them, Mac just kinda… gets away with his bullshit without ever trying to making amends.

MK keeps him at a full arm’s length from you, considering the sable simian to be not only a bad influence, but a dangerous one.

But, theoretically, if Macaque were to complete a list of intentionally nearly impossible tasks:

1. Apologize to every person he’s hurt

2. Make reparations for all the destruction that he’s caused

3. Acknowledge his own shortcomings and mistakes and try to become better

Then he might consider allowing you and ‘Uncle Macaque’ to meet up. Just for an hour.

Maybe.

As always, Pigsy maintains his grumpy fervor for cooking and serving, but in a far more lowkey fashion than before. Mei helped to hook him up with topnotch streaming equipment, allowing the chef to start a personal channel where he teaches beginner’s to prep basic meals and take care of their equipment.

He’s found some degree of fame with it, spreading his culinary skills across the internet, which quickly comes to love him.

And speaking of love- Y/N. Oh, how this man cherishes you.

MK gave him a grandbaby.

Ok, so he was a little worried at first. Pigsy thought that his son had gotten someone pregnant (irrational, but he was still worried!) and now was raising the kiddo as a single father.

Once all that has been cleared up, our favorite chef settles into the “granddad” role admirably, tending to you as he did to little MK.

He comes over every Friday to make a family meal for the three of you, and Tang always tags along- usually with a book that he thought you might like.

Although MK’s relationship with Mei has grown notably… strained, the two still keep in touch. She’s grown to be a massive streamer, and frequently competes in city-wide races as something of a celebrity. A decent chunk of her hard-earned cash goes to local charities or is spent sponsoring young racers that she sees worth in.

Mei is super dedicated to seeing the city grow healthier and happier, opting to visit and buy from only local stores and restaurants. She gives very fair reviews and often causes surges of growth for whatever business she stops in to check out.

She still finds time to game with MK on occasion, trying to bridge the gap that’s grown between the two in recent times. It’s not a phenomenal success, but they have fun and part on decent terms.

For what it’s worth, they’d both still go crazy if the other was injured.

Also, Auntie Mei??? Bringing you fun games and snacks and getting you a custom motorcycle helmet for the rides she takes you on (away from the crowded city streets, of course) and telling you embarrassing stories about MK.

(Also also, Goldendragon?? Moving apart from being friends and then reconciling into being lovers? Or even Chimera? In that final case Y/N is absolutely screwed.)

Mr. Tang, as always, remains a dedicated scholar and mooch. He’s still spending every day by Pigsy’s side and sampling his food, but now he’s got an audience eagerly watching his every bite. The internet loves this man, both for his honest enthusiasm for food and for his interesting historical lectures.

Tang switching from calmly explaining the history of jajangmyeon to outright squealing about how damn good the dish is the moment he takes the first bite.

Him and Pigsy have moved in together at this point, sharing the streaming equipment for both cooking videos and history lessons. They absolutely share the same channel.

(I cannot think of a name for what that channel would be called. Delicious History? Culinary Chronicles? Past and Produce? Freenoodles?)

I think that Tang would read to you as he did MK, sharing stories both old and new to keep you updated on the dangers you might face.

So much bonding over food. With MK’s permission, he takes you out to different stalls and shops to broaden your horizons. It also helps to build your social skills and the sense of community you feel with the locals.

Also, those Golden Cicada powers? He busts them out whenever you’re in danger, wrapping you in a sphere of glittering light. Actually pretty good at keeping you safe, all things considered.

The pacifistic view that Sandy has inherited is explored a bit more in this AU, with MK coming to view it as selfish, if not outright stupid.

If an enemy needs to be fought, pacifism is pointless. It’ll only get you and your friends hurt, refusing to fight when your assistance is needed the most.

If an enemy doesn’t need to be fought, every sane person becomes a pacifist temporarily to solve the issue in a non-violent way.

And in a world like Lego Monkie Kid? When fighting is frequent and necessary?

People are absolutely going to look at explicit non-combatants in a certain way.

The real value that Sandy finds in pacifism isn’t strictly for himself- he also doesn’t want to hurt anyone else or go too far in a fight, which are both reasonable. There’s nothing inherently wrong with his refraining from violence.

The main problem is that MK just doesn’t believe that Sandy would be able to protect you if you were in actual danger. Would he run away with you in his arms? Yes. Would he stuff you somewhere safe and force you to hide? Also yes. Would he take someone on, hand-to-hand for your safety?

It’s way harder to be sure. All visits are supervised just in case of a surprise attack

You, on the other hand? You adore this man. Sandy is great for the soul, giving you a chance to drop the training drills and stretches and pick up a paintbrush and put on some music. Also, kitties? Falling asleep on his couch and waking up covered in therapy cats with a cup of tea left within reach.

He’s just so good to you, and a perfect display of what healthy familial behavior actually is.

Here’s another person MK has soured his view of- Red Son. Given that he falls square into the “instead of actually becoming a better person, I gave up on being evil” category, our hero doesn’t have much fondness for the fiery demon.

Red has settled into life on the outskirts of Megapolis, working as an engineer/mechanic. If you’ve something strange/dangerous to build or fix, he’s your man. A fair price, and he doesn’t even ask questions.

His parents, who often visit, absolutely will. DBK leering down at you as you try to explain that an enemy threw a brick through the window of your tuk-tuk and if your mentor finds out he’s going to go full demon-hunter. PIF raising one eyebrow slowly as you trudge in covered in bruises, a new set of blueprints tucked under your arm.

The evil->helpful but menacing pipeline is real.

If you doesn’t know how to drive, Red’s a good bet for a teacher… if you can handle the yelling. Hit him with an ‘Uncle Red’ and he’ll loosen up a bit.

Also, taking into account his little insulting nicknames he has, like Noodle Boy?

Give that MK treats you like his own child, and may well even outright adopt you under certain circumstances-

You are absolutely getting called ‘Noodle Baby’.

(I’m admittedly not a fan of Spicynoodles, but that dynamic would be somewhat interesting to explore here. MK giving this one villain the ‘redemption’ card, not because Red Son has earned it, but simply because… MK likes him. It would be one hell of an angle for Y/N to attack him with.)

You were beyond excited as you stepped into the Smosh building, heart pounding with a mixture of nerves and exhilaration. The email inviting you to join Smosh Games for a session of your favorite board game, Munchkin, had been a dream come true. As a Twitch streamer with a (not to brag) rapidly growing following, this collaboration was a huge milestone.

You were greeted by Ian Hecox, whose welcomeness immediately put you at ease. "Hey! You must be Y/N. We're really excited to have you here," he said, giving you a friendly smile.

"Thank you so much for having me," you replied, trying to keep your voice steady. "I've been a fan for years."

As Ian led you to the set, you caught sight of Spencer Agnew, who was busy setting up the game. He looked up, a pair of glasses perched on his nose, and gave you a shy smile. You felt your stomach do a somersault.

"Hey, Y/N. I'm Spencer," he said, extending a hand. "I'm a producer here and also a huge fan of Munchkin. Can't wait to play it with you."

"Nice to meet you, Spencer," you said, shaking his hand. His touch was warm, and you noticed the slight flush on his cheeks as he pulled away. "I've heard you're the go-to guy for games around here."

He chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, something like that. I've seen some of your streams. You're really funny."

You felt your cheeks heat up. "Thanks. I love what you guys do here."

As the rest of the cast arrived, you were introduced to Olivia Sui, Courtney Miller, and Shayne Topp, who all welcomed you enthusiastically. The energy on set was infectious, and soon you were deep into the game of Munchkin, Spencer by your side, helping everyone else through the more complex rules.

Throughout the game, you and Spencer developed an easy chemistry. He had a quick wit that matched your own, and your banter flowed naturally. There was a moment when you both reached for the same card, your hands brushing against each other. You glanced up to find him looking at you, his eyes twinkling with a mix of surprise and something else that made your heart race. Once you even teamed up against Shayne to stop him from reaching level 10, and while it could’ve been anyone, it felt different with Spencer fighting by your side.

"Looks like we're a good team," he said, his voice a bit lower.

"Yeah, we are," you replied, your voice equally soft.

The rest of the cast couldn’t help but notice it all. Olivia and Courtney exchanged knowing glances, while Shayne made a few lighthearted comments that made Spencer blush and you laugh nervously.

After wrapping up the Munchkin session, Ian asked if you would be willing to shoot a Try Not to Laugh video too. You were thrilled; it was one of your favorite Smosh series. You couldn’t help but say yes.

As you headed to the new set, Spencer walked beside you. "You nervous?" he asked, his voice gentle.

"A little," you admitted. "But mostly excited."

"Don't worry, you'll do great," he said, giving you an encouraging smile. "Plus, it's always more fun when we have new people. Brings better energy."

The Try Not to Laugh shoot was a blast. Spencer made a surprise appearance, joining in on the antics. The awkward flirting between you two continued, much to the amusement of the rest of the cast. There were moments when Spencer would glance at you, his eyes lingering just a bit too long, or when your laughter would cause him to smile wider than usual.

During a break, you found yourself alone in the hallway, trying to catch your breath from all the laughter. Spencer approached you, a bottle of water in hand.

"Here," he said, offering it to you. "Thought you might need this."

"Thanks," you said, taking it gratefully. "This has been so much fun."

"Yeah, it has," he agreed, shuffling his feet a bit. "Hey, I was wondering if maybe you'd want to grab coffee sometime? You know, outside of the studio."

Your heart skipped a beat. "I'd love that," you replied, smiling.

The rest of the day went by in a blur of laughter and camaraderie. As you were packing up to leave, Spencer approached you again, this time looking a bit more nervous.

"Hey, um, there's a little gathering tonight at one of the crew's places. You should come. It'll be fun," he said, his voice hopeful.

"Sure, that sounds great," you said, feeling a thrill of excitement.

The party was lively, filled with music, chatter, and the familiar faces of the Smosh crew. You and Spencer gravitated towards each other, finding a quiet corner to chat. The chemistry between you was undeniable, and it felt like everyone in the room could sense it.

At one point, you excused yourself to the bathroom. As you were washing your hands, the door opened, and Spencer slipped inside, closing it behind him.

"Hey," he said, his voice soft, eyes locking onto yours in the mirror. "I just… I couldn't wait any longer."

Before you could respond, he stepped closer, his hands gently cupping your face. Your heart raced as he leaned in, capturing your lips in a tender kiss. It was soft and sweet at first, but quickly turned more passionate. You wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer as the kiss deepened.

When you finally pulled apart, both of you were breathless. Spencer rested his forehead against yours, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"That was… wow," he murmured.

"Yeah," you agreed, your voice barely more than a whisper.

You both left the bathroom a few minutes later, trying to act nonchalant. But the knowing smiles and teasing looks from the rest of the Smosh cast told you that your secret wasn’t much of a secret at all. The night ended with Spencer walking you to your car, his hand gently holding yours. As you said your goodbyes, he leaned in for another kiss, this one soft and lingering.

"See you soon?" he asked, hope shining in his eyes.

"Definitely," you replied, smiling. "I can't wait."

As you drove home, your heart was full. What had started as an invitation to guest on Smosh had turned into so much more. You couldn't wait to see where this would lead.

Earlier this week, after warping across the galaxy for 90 hours in a sentient spacecraft, Twitch streamer John Wissmiller realized that Concord was the best first-person shooter he’d played in a decade.

“The gunplay was crunchy, the movement was smooth, and the progression felt rewarding,” he says. “I was even more enthralled by the world the developers had created when I looked into the lore.”

He wasn’t alone. “One of the biggest perks about the game was the absence of toxicity within the player community,” says Kelle Dees, a content creator at KDeesGamez. “Everything about the game was positive and inclusive.”

On Wednesday, less than two weeks after the game’s August 23 launch, Sony announced it was taking Concord offline and offering full refunds to anyone who had purchased it on PlayStation 5 or PC. “While many qualities of the experience resonated with players, we also recognize that other aspects of the game and our initial launch didn’t land the way we’d intended,” wrote Ryan Ellis, Concord’s director at Firewalk Studios, a division of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

“I was completely devastated,” Wissmiller says. “We’ve never seen a first-party title from Sony get this kind of treatment.”

In fact, we’ve never seen any AAA video game get this kind of treatment—and that’s what could make Concord a horrifying canary in the coal mine for gamers and game workers alike.

“It’s unprecedented for a game of this scale to be shut down so quickly,” says Liam Deane, a video game analyst at Omdia. “Usually publishers keep games that struggle at launch on life support for a while, but in Concord’s case the launch was so bad there was clearly no way back.”

Like Fortnite, Destiny 2, and Valorant, Concord was meant to be a live-service game that constantly released new updates over the course of several years. But while those other games are free to play—and rely on microtransactions to make money—Concord cost $40 up front. “It's just very difficult to break into competitive multiplayer games [and] displace the existing top titles,” says Simon Carless, an industry analyst who publishes the GameDiscoverCo newsletter. “These are the kind of titles that players socialize with their friends in, and they're often not motivated to switch games.”

Sony hasn’t revealed how many copies of Concord sold between August 23 and September 3, but the number of active PC players on the Steam platform peaked at just 697 on launch day. That’s abysmally low for a major release that spent eight years in development; Sony’s previous live-service game, Helldivers 2, had over 155,000 players on its first day, back in February, and later peaked at 458,709.

Helldivers 2, though, was a breakout hit that already had an established fanbase. Concord, on the other hand, was a brand-new franchise that didn’t get much of a marketing push and drew the ire of “anti-woke” snivelers who complained about the game’s use of pronouns on its character selection screen.

“For big companies, it's difficult to work out what bets—and how large bets—you should make,” says Carless. “Some of the corporate overexuberance during Covid and low interest rates has meant that large companies overextended, and the pullback has been—and is going to be—painful.”

Over the past 20 years, the brutal blockbuster-or-bust mentality of Silicon Valley startups has spread to executives across the entertainment industry. Movies with $100 million production budgets are considered dead on arrival after a bad opening weekend and are quickly ripped from theaters. TV series are canceled after failing to meet undisclosed performance metrics in their first seasons.

Now, the quick death of Concord, which officially went offline today, points to a similar mindset in the video game industry that could kill creativity, reduce jobs, and shutter entire studios.

“If you have a stable parent company with a balanced set of single-player and [live-service] releases, you should be in decent shape,” says Carless. But “the middle of the market is disintegrating. The games industry is deprofessionalizing in many ways; games as a stable profession will be tricky for many people in high-GDP countries.”

If studio C-suites keep cutting all the buds that don’t instantly blossom, the golden age of gaming of the 2020s—a mix of AAA blockbusters like Elden Ring, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Baldur’s Gate 3, alongside smaller-budget gems like Tunic, Chants of Sennar, and the reimagining of 1997’s Riven—could already be over.

“I think innovation is more likely to come from smaller companies with lower budgets that are happier to take risks,” says Piers Harding-Rolls, who leads the games research team at Ampere Analysis. “This has really been true for many years, but the current commercial environment makes that truer than ever.” Still, even the future of indies is uncertain and may be somewhat dependent on funding efforts like Innersloth’s Outersloth initiative.

Concord may have gotten off to a slow start with gamers (most of whom hadn’t heard of it yet) and critics (who didn’t love the initial character designs), but the same could be said of Elder Scrolls Online, which has since made more than $2 billion, or the Destiny franchise, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year, or No Man’s Sky, which has become a cult classic.

If those games were released now, would they survive longer than Concord did—longer than the lifespan of a honeybee? The answer lies with the most ruthless beekeepers in the industry, and all they care about is the honey.

hiii thank you! i was going to say i haven't thought about this much, but i just realised that would be a lie, and i've totally caught myself off guard with it.

i like them best when they're as close to the source material as possible, (especially when the AU is really far from canon, it makes me hold even tighter to certain canon references to anchor it) and i like to blend book and tv.

to me, that makes crowley a combo of hotshot lawyer x aging rockstar, which means wearing sharp suits and slacks as often as drainpipes and chelsea boots. since crowley gives us so much variation to work with, i like referencing the show for all his clothing, even if i mix n match the pieces. (i do love how slouchy streetwear crowley looks, but i don't actually think it's very in character for him, so in my fics i keep him dressed sharply. jumpers and cardigans can still be sharp imo, depending what they're paired with and how slim the cut)

aziraphale, on the other hand. i didn't realise i had an opinion about this until i started typing. aziraphale is a camp and indulgent fucker, who hoards his victorian clothing because he loves it. he's canonically passionate about clothes. so i think the human au version of that means he'd have a lot of variation, even tho we don't see that in the show.

to anchor it to canon, i still picture him with the same ensemble of slacks or corduroys + button up + waistcoat + jacket. sometimes i'll add or remove pieces, like just a button shirt with no waistcoat, with or without a bowtie, and give him different cuts of jacket. my book!aziraphale exception to this is giving him lots of cardigans and jumpers. crowley's would be sleek like the turtleneck, but aziraphale wouldn't be afraid to look frumpy for the sake of cosiness or comfort.

his variation comes from colours and patterns, even though his overall style is very unanimous. he'd have dozens of diff bowties, tartan and argyle and paisley and check and plain alike. everything is light, but he's not beholden to cream and white: i think he'd enjoy the colour from all kinds of soft pastels.

I've been rotating this in my head for a while now. I don't have a perfect fit for everyone, but I've randomly got headcanons for what websites the Evils from Diablo would enjoy.

Mephisto would 100% be on Twitter or reddit. That, or his old ass would be on Facebook. He'd stalk everyone he can on Twitter and Facebook, while being a top downvote farmer on reddit. (There's a subreddit for that.) He would be the most horrific troll to ever exist, and it wouldn't even be for a grand scheme. He'd troll to relax, drinking a hot cup of Joe (blood and tears that probably came from a dude named Joe), looking at his phone like he's reading a pleasant book, when really he got some 80-something year old woman named Martha to drop her sweet Christian lady act on Facebook, and call him slurs and curses he didn't know existed. I don't think he would know a lot of swears or curses to be frank, being too busy to learn what mortals call each other, or his kind. This new language of hate would DEFINITELY be implemented into his vocabulary.

all of his recent streams are probably a way to earn money and the whole egg merch is probably for even more money (the bio of the acc literally says that it is ''the best way to fund qsmp'') (i've already talked about my opinions on that)

the whole not communicating is so ''he doesn't make false promises'' and also, so he doesn't get sued. (understand where he is coming from but huge disagree)

the not having ways of contacting him via twt isn't done as a result of this situation, he deleted twt some time ago (very unfortunate timing, like, 2 days before lea's statements. he should've reinstalled it, but he doesn't need to anymore since he now has an email for when he needs to be contacted)

the events that are currently happening have been planned for months in advance (still think he should put them back a bit. i guess the german streamer is kinda understandable since he has apparently been waiting for like, 10 months?? still think he should've put it back)

i think what he wants is for when pomme's admin comes back for the work environment to be perfect but i still heavily disagree with his ways. the way he's going about it now is only going to lead to burnout from the workers :( none of what i said justifies the lack of communication btw. his actions come off as kinda tone-deaf right now.

although with the whole (understandable) anger from people about the twt admins + the union + jose's statements + the french's statements, i do think he will start actually communicating with his workers (he kinda has to with the whole jose thing, unless he wants all of qstudios garbage out in the public, which is like, a really bad thing for him)

unfortunately, i'm only based when i'm angry <3 so this is probably dogshit. but the problems in qstudios ARE fixable. (this is either gonna end up aging like milk or like fine wine. i hope it's the fine wine since i love qsmp and i'll probably completely give up on learning french/spanish if it doesn't)

I personally didn’t think you were too harsh on your last ask, you had genuine concern about the course of his actions and it didn’t feel like you were attacking him or anything !

I don’t know Q personally obviously so I won’t speculate too much on what he’s thinking through this, but I agree with you that he probably isnt an evil guy and doesn’t have bad intentions with it.

However I still stand with the fact that he was at least negligent towards what was happening behind the scenes of his passion project and should’ve been more aware of the inner workings of the QSMP.

This isn’t an easy situation, especially with all the legal aspects (which should’ve been thought of beforehand btw) but I think everyone or at least most people who criticise what is going on are doing in first because they want the admins to be treated well but also because they want to trust that Q will do the right thing.

Admins and fans alike wouldn’t spend so much time getting updated on the situation and writing their thoughts if they didnt have at least some hope that things can be fixed.

Now it’s up to Qstudios to prove those who believe right and to prove those who lost trust (can’t blame them) wrong !
