I don't know if Mr. Santiago (OUTCASTComix on Deviantart (@brandontheoutcast on Tumblr and on Instagram)'s seen that british slasher spoof of A. A. Milne's beloved characters from The Hundred Acre Wood (I know I don't want to see it since those guys are forever part of my childhood after all), but I think even Erma would prefer the "willy nilly silly old bear" and his timid, little piglet pal in the way we all know them as.

I also think it's really sad seeing a well-loved children's thing being used for something adult-oriented and kids aren't supposed to watch or hear it (especially since I've recently heard about another adult Winnie the Pooh parody going to be made soon). I don't own any of these characters. Note. Trust me. This picture gets even more heartwarming when you look at it while also listening to Kenny Loggins' Return to Pooh Corner. ;)

Easy Strawberry Jam Recipe – A Sweet and Tangy Delight

Indulge in the sweet and fruity delight of homemade strawberry jam-filled donuts. These fluffy treats are perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 cup milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 large egg. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Strawberry jam for filling. Vegetable oil for frying. Powdered sugar for dusting.

Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness. Use a round cookie cutter to cut out donut shapes. Then, use a smaller cutter to cut out the centers to create donut rings. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350F 175C. Carefully place donuts in the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove donuts from the oil and drain on paper towels. Once the donuts are cool enough to handle, use a pastry bag to fill them with strawberry jam. Dust the filled donuts with powdered sugar. Serve and enjoy your homemade strawberry jam donuts!

This Easy Strawberry Chia Seed Jam is a quick and healthy alternative to traditional jam. Packed with the goodness of strawberries and chia seeds, it's perfect for spreading on toast, topping oatmeal, or adding to your favorite vegan desserts.

Ingredients: 2 cups strawberries, hulled and chopped. 2 tablespoons chia seeds. 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar. 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

Instructions: Put chopped strawberries, maple syrup or agave nectar, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Over medium-low heat, stir the strawberries every now and then for about 5 to 7 minutes, until they are soft and mushy. Take the strawberries off the heat and mash them with a fork or potato masher until the consistency you want is reached. Add the chia seeds and mix them in. Then, let the mixture sit for 10 to 15 minutes until it gets thick. Put the jam in a clean jar and let it cool down before putting it in the fridge. As it cools, it will keep getting thicker.

Soñé que estaba en un discurso de Claudia Sheinbaum, quien había ganado las elecciones a la presidencia de México el día anterior. Aunque conscientemente el suceso no me entusiasma ni voté por ella, en el sueño su discurso me conmovía profundamente y me emocionaba el hecho de que fuera la primera mujer presidente de México.

Soñé que tenía un bote de mermelada de fresa muy grande, como de 1 litro. Esto es notable ya que hace unos días se acabó la mermelada que teníamos en casa.

I dreamt I was at a speech by Claudia Sheinbaum, who had won the Mexican presidential elections the day before. Although I am not consciously excited about the event and did not vote for her, in the dream her speech deeply moved me, and I was thrilled by the fact that she was the first female president of Mexico.

I dreamt I had a very large jar of strawberry jam, about 1 liter in size. This is notable because we ran out of jam at home a few days ago.
