Was watching the vid of the Helsinki preshow and one of the question cards started out with “hi homos” and Dan said “I see we’re getting comfortable here” (or a variant on that, might not be verbatim tho I’m pretty sure it is) and he sounded… idk… sort of uncomfortable? It didn’t seem to affect him much and he moved on quickly but I feel like people should maybe avoid using slurs. Even if dnp know their audience is mainly queer people, it’s still gonna make them at least a bit uncomfortable to be addressed with reclaimed slurs by an anonymous person. Just a thought.

I see a lot of people posting that they think something big is going to happen with dan and phil this month because of anniversaries and birthdays and gay but honestly if they did do something would you even believe it? they could title a video "it's official we're getting married" and I'd assume they're playing another game and not think twice

im assuming by "them" you mean d&p not like people watching? bc that's the only take i've seen

like..... people are entitled to their own opinions and everyone perceives things differently so I'm not gonna tell someone they're wrong for saying that, for them personally, it came across that d&p were uncomfortable. but I would say that they weren't uncomfortable, and that's not my opinion, it's a fact that's coming from d&p. bc they've told us they say no to things they don't want to do now. we know that they used to be yes-men but now they only do projects/gigs/spons/etc that they feel like doing. so basically: dan being annoyed at spons is a shtick, they wouldn't make a video of them playing the game if they didn't want to, and people are welcome to express their opinions but at the end of the day we should trust what comes out of d&p's mouths in terms of their boundaries

Phil was mesmerized. He had no idea how anyone in the room was talking. How could they not listen to this beautiful piece?

Phil continued to sit, listening, overcome by the joy of the music - a smile plastered on his face. He did not realize when the others began to leave. If anyone walked by him, he did not see. But soon, he was the only one left in the concert hall. He had no idea how long he sat there and listened.

Somewhere midway through the piece, the notes began to change. The pianist began slowing his notes, and their progressions were no longer full of joy. The song became sad, melancholy. It took Phil’s breath away. He felt cold all of a sudden, like the pianist was further away somehow isolated.

The man hunched over the piano, and Phil felt like he couldn’t breath. He looked around the room, to see if anyone else noticed this shift, when he finally realized they were alone. The notes grew slower and slower as Phil stood, drifting closer to the man playing the piano. The pianist looked as mesmerized as Phil, absorbed in his playing.
