My Top Five Cosmere Characters!

Renarin. There's just something so profoundly relateable about him! Maybe it's the fact that disability is so extremely difficult to deal with and yet no one seems to notice your inner struggle because no one understands... maybe it's the fact that Dalinar still pretends he does not exist and Renarin's struggle to reckon with that is so poignant... but I just adore him and would die for him tbh! Also can we please see more interactions between him and Hoid? Thanks.

2. Lightsong. The idea of a god who does not believe in his own religion has always been so very fascinating to me! He's funny, he's insightful, and his arc is unbelievable. Love this dude. Also someone made a parody on 17th Shard about him to the tune of "Gaston" and it is everything to me.

3. Tress. I am absolutely the type of person who would rather curl up with a book than undergo a daring adventure, and yet Tress's bravery and ingenuity have always been astounding to me! She is the Buttercup of our generation and I love her for that.

5. Kaladin. I have to include him. He is the OG fave, the beginning of my love for Cosmere. To see someone struggle with the continuous drain of depression while finding it in himself to care and to hope is so beautiful. I also just love keeping a running smile count throughout the series. Plus, he has some pretty iconic lines and I like occasionally laughing at him for his endearing obliviousness.

5. Lift. Yes, I know this list is heavily Stormlight-skewed, but it was my first exposure to the Cosmere, and Lift is just the best! I love seeing her interactions with Szeth, Wyndle, and just everyone else! Her Peter Pan complex is also very real... wishing her the best in her impending teenage crisis!

This video is absolute pure comedic/artistic genius and I can't believe the channel (The Worldsinger) doesn't have a bigger audience. He rewrote the lyrics to the ENTIRE SONG + sang all of the voices (as far as I can tell) + matched it with amazing graphics.

I'm making the funniest fucking Stormlight parody punkrock band shirt design but bc it's an absolute bitch to replicate digitally I started adding other shapes (bc boredom) to it so now it's slowly turning into the funniest *and* coolest Stormlight parody punkrock band shirt design. I'm a fucking genius. I'm the funniest bitch in the Alethi warcamp. I can't work on this fast enough because it's such a pain. I can't wait to show everyone. 😭

Hey everyone, some fellow cosmere fans and I were talking a week or so back, and someone said that they’d like to see an animation of Kaladin training bridge four to ‘I’ll make a man out of you’ from Disney’s Mulan (the old one that we like.) Anyways, they started trying to put a parody together, and admittedly, I shook my head and said ‘guys. I got this’ (because while they were on the right track... some of it was a liiiiittle off, and I’ve written spoofs before)

So, here it is; ‘I’ll make spearmen out of you’. (I’m not singing it at any point; the internet has suffered enough from seeing my pictures, you don’t need my bad singing too. One of my friends sang it and they did AMAZING (we stan) so if they want to, they might share their version, or you guys could reblog with you singing it. Whatever you like, I’d love to hear it.) I hope you enjoy! :)

(also, if you have any songs (they have to be appropriate, and pretty well known would be nice so people know what the spoof is tho it doesn’t have to be) you think would fit a book or tv show (preferably of a fandom i’m in so i have a heckin clue what to write) or something that you want made into a spoof, tag me, message me, whatever, I’d love to write more.)
