my favorite part of mistborn is how the female lead finds this edgy, 'damaged' bad boy (fuckin love zane btw. because I am. Myself) and he's all "you could fix me... your love could save me..." and she's just like bitch wtf do I look like a therapist??? no?????

Rewatching FMAB (for like the 3rd time at least) and it really is just "Cosmere Anime" from before and during early Cosmere. The entire conversation about Al's body just oozes capital C Connection. (and also calling God "Truth" is probably the most Shard thing ever). This isn't a new opinion of mine, I've held it since the last rewatch. But god damn both really have the same foundation despite coming from opposite sides of the Pacific.
