the goose has taken over the rad.

no one is safe. one foot inside the great doors, and they are in your domain.

you have laid claim to the entirety of the building and grounds. no place is safe.

barbatos contemplates having the place shut down. diavolo thinks this is all one incredibly fun game.

he doesn't care that you start chasing him whenever you cross paths. he doesn't care that you hiss and bite his ankles and get crumbs all over his office carpet. he doesn't even mind that you keep stealing things off his desk.

you have become his tyrannical co-ruler. he's just too jovial to see the tyrannical part.

lucifer has not recovered from the indignity of your attack on the first day you met. nevertheless, he has come to co-exist with you. he brings you a little dish of beans every morning as a peace offering. in return, you begrudgingly refrain from making mincemeat of his hands with your surprisingly sharp orange beak.

the other students do not fare nearly as well with their new goose headmaster. just one honk from you is enough to send most running in the opposite direction. the sound of your webbed feet waddling down the hall towards them is cause for panic.

you invade classrooms mid-lesson and track ink across freshly-written work. you flap in through the window during potions class and knock unwanted ingredients into the cauldron. you cause explosions in curse class and somehow come away unscathed each time.

and then the other exchange students arrive.

luke refuses to go near you. solomon attempts to wrangle you with a spell that seems to glance harmlessly off your white feathers, and gets chased out of the grounds for his troubles.

but simeon, for some fucking reason, gets a pass.

you don't scream at him when he passes under an archway you are perched on. when you cause a riot in class, his work always remains pristine. when he brings you little cereal snacks, you don't make as if to nip his fingers.

one day, lucifer walks past and spots simeon scratching your head. your eyes are half shut, wings folded neatly by your side and not spread threateningly like usual. you don't even honk. you coo at him as he tells you what a handsome goose you are.
