Coming ABSOLUTELY NEVER, Bugsnax 2! Taking place 2 decades after the first game, explore Snaktooth Island from a new perspective with an entire new cast of characters!

First off, our new protagonist: Yolka Woolbag! Lacking a feeling of purpose after the death of her mother, Yolka arranged an expedition to Snaktooth Island to uncover the mystery of where she was born. However, throwing a wrench into that plan is her sudden disappearance and loss of memory, leading her to have to rediscover who she is and why she's there at all!

The first grumpus you'll meet, Writney Bumblenuzzle is the crew's nurse, and is already very tired of dealing with Yolka's amnesia. Contrary to her profession, she's passive-aggressive and would really rather do anything but her actual job.

A roughhousing ex-rodeo clown, Kessie Cattlespur's a rootin' tootin' has-been, longing for the good old days. While he's far past his prime, he believes he still has it in him to act as he did in his youth, but those days are long behind him.

If you need any information on the new bugsnax you'll uncover in Bugsnax 2, Camby's your grump! A zoologist with a bit of an obsessive streak, Camby is passionate about preserving the habitats of native creatures, and isn't too keen on consuming all the natural wildlife.

A niche painter and successful architect, Alferg Barbweaver's incredibly talented, but not very passionate about his art. Laid back and not particularly driven, Alferg's coasted by on the minimum effort required in... almost all parts of his life.

Very large, very stupid, and very, very cowardly, Garriel Grizloop's had a history of people being scared of him for his appearance. He's always trying to gain the approval of others by helping whenever he can, but hasn't found much success in his attempts.

A faded star, Charona Dapplechap has moved on from her days as a showgirl, but still longs for her youth when she was talented and beautiful. She and Kessie have quite the history, and really would rather not speak about it.

An alumni of the brilliant Professor Fizzlebean, Hadley Stormbrewer is an obnoxious snob with an ego the size of his brain (which he claims to be quite, quite large). Despite his accolades, he's quite secretive about his area of study, and besides his previous studies, he doesn't let on much about his background.

If you don't wake up at 4am to work out, can't lift twice your body weight, and dare to eat something with more than a gram of sugar, you're clearly not putting in enough effort, according to Steffonie Jumpinjack. The biggest health nut around, Steffonie's a bit pushy and judgemental, but ultimately well-meaning in her want for everyone to be healthy.

Come one, come all, to Biggie Scotchtop's Bugsnax Circus! Always desiring fame but never achieving it back home, Biggie's attempting to create something the world has never seen: a full circus with bugsnax performers! Her endeavours have yet to be successful, but she'll try anything to get the fame she desires.

If you've read a single magazine in the past years, you've obviously heard of infamous travel blogger, Gazzo Starsnap. A bit airheaded and out of touch with "poor people" reality, Gazzo's only on Snaktooth to take photos of the exotic landscape, take a vacation from his "very busy" life, and of course, dig into the local food!

Nobody quite knows Druple Jamnut. She's secretive, somewhat off-putting, and seems to know a bit too much about the island for someone who's never stepped foot there. She disappeared around the same time as Yolka, but unfortunately hasn't resurfaced since. Nobody's been too keen on looking for her.

worrying about seeing somebody he knows doesn't make much sense. if he sees anybody he knows, they're very likely to ignore him given what that means. he wanders deeper into the club, already feeling a little hot. all he can see are bodies pressing together and it makes him long a little for it himself, finally able to have a chance at it. swallowing thickly, alec unbuttons his shirt, tugging it off so he can wrap it around his waist, white vest top almost glowing in the low light. he catches somebody's eye, a little breathless as he stares at them, unable to move.

a sigh leaves his lips, finding it frustrating to even be speaking to someone as stubborn as they were. it wasn't as if this act of theirs wasn't fooling anyone. wouldn't it just be best to end this charade and just let him in? "i don't understand you." was what he says to break the silence, shaking his head as his hand rests against his hip. "you know, it's alright for you to lean onto others for support sometimes. just tell me what i can do to help."

"can we just recap, for a second?" they've just taken their seats and lincoln will be mentioning what good seats they are when he gets a second. he turns to scout, knees bumping gently. "you don't want mason to know you're here but you want to support him. so you brought me with you?" it's a head scratcher. "you realise my brother is on the team, right? i won't be quiet, bud." and not to mention the guy he was seeing was also on the team. oh, lincoln was going to draw so much attention to them. but he is wearing isaac's jersey, so that's something. "like, this is my surname across my back, you know."

"i thought you said you wanted to go camping." theo couldn't help but chuckle a little. using the stick in his hands to keep the fire he had just made going. though at this point, he wasn't sure if the other did agree to it in the first place or if he had just imagined it. "but if you hate it so much, we can just go home." he laughed softly, raising an eyebrow at them.

seeing how gentle he is with alina only provides further proof that he was an amazing man and father. she doesn't know all that she wants from this but she does know she wants to see what happens. she wants to see where all of this goes, find out what the truth is. they both deserve the truth, if nothing else. she laughs wetly, resting her forehead against his shoulder for a moment. "don't be sorry. she's beautiful. dawn thinks i am, too." her cheeks flush a little at the mention of dawn, not for any reason other than mentioning her always makes her feel hot. "and anyway, good things come in small packages, right?" she stands up straight, smiling and she wipes at her cheeks, exhaling softly. she could do this, they have done this the entire time. why was the thought of not seeing each other so difficult now? "yeah, of course. thank you." cherry waits until he has gone before she turns straight to dawn and falls into her arms. her face is tucked into her neck, shuddery breath falling lightly. "holy fuck," she whispers, clinging to her girlfriend tightly.

he takes alina carefully, pressing a kiss atop of her head once she's settled into his side, breathing her in. this would be a big change to her too, and he figures that they won't say a thing to her until it's 100% certain, but even then he hopes cherry - and her brothers - can become a significant part of his life. it's a little insane maybe, having such a connection with someone he had only just met, but the way she was with alina, how kind and selfless she was, how kind her girlfriend was to question him first - it was hard for him not to be endeared, to want them to become an intergal part of his life. beaming over cherry's words, he looks at her, then at alina and then at cherry again. "i know, it's uncanny. scarily so. my in-law's have always said my genes are freakishly strong, despite how small i am." he snorts then, reaching out to squeeze at cherry's shoulder. "sorry for that." he murmurs playfully, not wanting her to cry even if tears were burning his own. "i'll tell my wife tonight, she's a very understanding person. it'll be...a shock but if i don't say something, i'm not sure that makes me the man that either of you deserve me to be. then i'll text you, okay?" he asks softly, before he's bowing his head, and politely smiling at cherry and then at dawn. "see you both soon." he adds on quietly, waving as he makes a careful exit, not moving too swiftly, not wanting to wake up the little girl snoozing so calmly in his arms.
