Kamelion Studios is looking for new members!

Currently, it's a small team of 21 people, consisting of writers, editors, and different artists.

Recently, we published our first Webtoon Tarot Of My Heart, which is available on both Webtoon Canvas and on Tapas. It's doing well in Canvas. And we have another one that is currently at work.

Hence we decided to expand the team so that we could focus on our current & future works.

So do apply if you are interested!

To apply - You have to be 18 & above. Have to be comfortable working on gore, NSFW, and LGTB+ stories. Can give time to the team and to the role you will be assigned. Can follow directions.

If you aren't sure about the above topics then we would recommend not to apply or apply next time.

At this moment it is a free project. but when we do start to make money, the amount will be distributed evenly.

Roles needed : Writer - someone who is good at plot development, and character arc. *Adapter - someone who can adapt novels into webtoon scripts. *Editor - for both script and webtoon. *Artist - *BG, *Animation, Colorist, *Line, *Storyboard and Drafting.

💭 As a thriller lover I always thought that, there was that nothing could bother me as I probably have read it all. I ... was very wrong.

This story made me uncomfortable. Made me feel repulsive but at the same time it was so addictive that I couldn't stop reading.

I can't even tell you guys how twisted this was without spoiling, so just trust me when I say, it's probably one of the best psychological thrillers I had the opportunity to read. It’s bittersweet and a hell of a ride! I also thought the ending was provoking!

Writing advice that changed my sentence

When I was a young writer, I was told that I often started my sentences with "there is/there was/there are." I was told to eliminate those as much as possible.

I couldn't believe how often I used them. My first novel was completely littered with them.

I learned to diversify and grow my use of verbs. Instead of the state-of-being verbs, like "is" which isn't very descriptive at all, I started using stronger verbs.

Instead of writing "There were a bunch of trees on the hill" I wrote "A cluster of trees towered over the hill."

"Towered" is a much stronger verb than "Is"

Use the state-of-being words, but if you can, try replacing them with more active verbs. You might be surprised how much your writing improves.

📚Hating someone is almost same as loving them. Lucy hates Joshua, her one true nemesis. The only drawback to her perfect job is sitting across him.

He pushes all of her buttons & makes her lose her cool. He brings the worst out of her. And she does the same.

They hate each other. They really do. Absolutely hate each other.

At least that's what Luch thought until he kisses her.

💭 Thought :

📝Writing - First of all, I loved the writing of The Hating Game, a big 5 for that!

It felt charming and had a flowery feel to it. Almost whimsical. It was absolutely beautiful.

🎭🔰👥The characters - The way Lucy - our protagonist - thinks and acts, honestly it wasn't never boring being inside of her head.

Josh was so sweet. Truly there is nothing better than a man written by a woman.

📔Story - From the get-go, the banter, the chemistry, and the comedy were in abundance and I really enjoyed those first few chapters.

I love characters who dish each other out, and then serve it back.

The third act conflict was good. Was kinda surprised by the twist too.

🌶️Spicy - Honestly, I'm not a fan of book spice. So I mostly skim through them. Though, the scene in the **** was really nice.

If you like hot stuffs in your book, you will love this one.

The spice doesn't overpower the story and writing.

♻️ There is a movie adaptation of The Hating Game that came out in 2021. Lucy is cast as Lucy Hale. And Joshua is casted as Austin Stowell.

It was good.

I loved the book better.
