East Side Mags and Dungeons on the Go are bringing another awesome homebrew Dungeons & Dragons campaign, written by Dungeon Master Erik Cheski!

This is NEW GODS, WHO THIS? (ALL AGES, ADVANCED ) and consists of FOUR TOTAL EPISODES. 

About NEW GODS, WHO THIS?: Tiam, last of the Ancient Dragons who once comprised Tiamat has gathered the power of the storm giants and is marching on Waterdeep. The party stands alongside the cities mightiest heroes in the hopes that they can hold back the horde and send Tiam to Hell to join the rest.

The dates are:

2/2 (Sunday) - 10am-12pm

2/9 (Sunday) - 10am-12pm

2/16 (Sunday) - 10am-12pm

2/23 (Sunday) - 10am-12pm

“Oh little storm,” the being cooed, hands that are both large enough to crush the world yet small enough to hold his face gently running through his hair. He was being held by lightning, by stars and space and everything in between, cradling his form like he was something oh-so precious. “A surprise to be sure,” the being crooned, purred, rumbled, cracked, some noise of the depths of space mixed with something indescribable. “A surprise, but a welcome one.” 

Billy had never felt so small, yet so loved, like the world itself was holding him against its heart as the whispers of the gods bled away in something akin to awe. The being smiled, distant storms letting loose and ending droughts, even more distant stars bursting into being. “A little marvel of existence,” they hummed, hissed, cooed, whistled, hair- or strands of galaxies- melding into the abyss around them. 

“A surprise son. A child of the Cosmos. Yes.” He was held so gently, space itself dancing and flickering around him, suns pressing hundreds of freckled kisses against his head. “Welcome home, little storm. Welcome home, my son.”

silly little headcanon: Maui doesn't need to sleep all that often because he's a demigod, but because he was born human he still occasionally feels tired and sleeps anyway. Sometimes while he sleeps, he actually finds it more comforting to shapeshift into an animal and sleep that way; he's a big guy who takes up a lot of space, so sometimes it feels nice to just. turn into a little animal and curl up in a little ball to sleep.

Sometimes when Moana loses track of him on a voyage, when she isn't sure she saw him take off and leave, she ends up finding him in the cargo hold, shapeshifted into a little pig, curled up and sleeping besides Pua. She'll never tell him she found him like that, of course. She needs her blackmail and cameras haven't been invented yet, and also it's so stupid cute to see this all powerful demigod just curled up into this tiny little thing snoring away.

He even finds himself doing it on Motunui, even though he'd definitely be offered a place to stay if he wanted one. Sometimes villagers will just happen across a "weird looking lizard" just baking out in the sun, fast asleep. Sometimes they see a massive hawk nesting on the roof of Moana's fale. Maybe sometimes he even shifts in his sleep to some animal that doesn't even make sense for where he touched down to rest. Maybe one day he wakes up to a huge crowd surrounding him on the beach, Moana included, because oops, he transformed into a whale in his sleep, and a bunch of poor confused fishermen thought he was some poor old regular whale that beached itself by mistake.

Something about using his powers at rest. For comfort, rather than for power and aggresion.

New campaign new character time!! This is Tufani, my boar shifter storm herald barbarian!! I cannot tell much yet as a certain party member is around 👀👀👀 but she’s come down from her northern home to go to magic university! She’s a big sweetheart and is just really excited to see all the fancy thing at the school and to make friends! The whole actual ‘school’ part…she’s certainly gonna try her best!

Just had to make this piece REAL quick cause i’m so excited to play her but i’m still getting through coms! Finishing up the initial batch then it’s off to the waitlist soon!

Gentry, I low key be shipping AFO and Kurogiri in Anyone. How much to make them canon? Or at least to imply they're a thing.

I... Well... I... Listen. While I will admit this would be one hell of an explanation as to why Kurogiri is taking AFO's side instead of Izuku's, Kurogiri is still one of the most responsible members of the group and while he has made a lot of bad decisions in his life (seriously, a lot of bad and dumb decisions), he has his limits.

Kurogiri is the man who has been AFO's taxi service AND bartender since he was 16. He saw all the petty and dumb things that motivated AFO to go from point 1 to point B quickly. He has heard AFO's unfiltered opinions on too many things, including his little brother. And that's before meeting Yami, because let's be serious, anyone getting with AFO also get Izuku in the deal, no matter how much Izuku disagrees with it.

Kurogiri simply doesn't have so little self worth and urge to self destruct to hook up with a yandere nuke who holds grudges like it's an Olympic sport and who will smother anything he loves until they die, unless said something has a quirk about as strong as AFO himself and is willing to murder him.

STORM GIANT QUINTESSENT

VS KOBOLDS

First is the Storm Giant Quintessent! It CAN look like that, temporarily reforming as a 26 ft (7.9 m) elementally charged giant. But these things aren't really giants anymore, their normal form is a living storm. A mountain's blizzard, a waterfall's undertow and endless mist, these are nature's power incarnate. The booming thunder, the fog swirling, the wind lifting you, these are all part of them! So, do you ride the lightning? Do you fear the storm, or let that living hurricane take shape and rock your world?

Next, Kobolds! 3 ft (1 m) clever dragon people of passion and teamwork, switching wildly between complete cowardice and pure bravery! They tend to mate frequently and without jealously, it's just what you do to keep numbers up and prosper. So chances are they'll be very experienced! Magic ones learn things like mage hand and charm person, and as you can see some are especially great with traps and cages and ropes. The thing about kobolds is that they fill wherever needed. They ALL mess with traps, the "dragon shield" is as much title as training, and while the scale sorcerer is special...like, they know 5 spells. They'll still happily grab a pickaxe or mess with traps if needed.

For Christmas I had my IRL BFF draw a piece of art for me! I decided to make it Sea Monster AU again, though this time with the piece being from the beginning of the AU, where Alejandro is just a little eel that Noah's bonding with.

Noah's just teaching a small man how to read! It's just fluff and nothing bad ever happens to their relationship, ever. Don't. Don't look at anything past the first part. They're fine.
