a perfect microcosm of who i am as a person:

after months of hemming and hawing, i bought a new phone. new phone causes a ton of really annoying electromagnetic interference with my desktop pc speakers (that have been in the family since at least 1995) and subwoofer (that i bought for $1 at a thrift store). my immediate first thought for a solution was, rather than "maybe i should finally lay my 30 year old computer equipment to rest" was "i wonder how hard it would be to build a faraday cage to put my speakers in"

great question but it was funny as fuck. the way it drove like head on into the apple store looked like it was aiming for that specifically 😭 no one got seriously injured (i think four people were hurt but it wasn't anything extreme) so thankfully i get to joke about it because this photo is SO funny to me i'm sorry

also tram in norwegian is trikk and because this was right before halloween every comment section i've come accross about the incident has just been filled with 'trikk or treat'. which is a bad joke but one i unfortunately found funny every time

The problem with night shift is that my midnight dreams of snacks are too achievable. If I’m up at 2 am and want a little treat I don’t already own, well, too bad, go back to sleep. But right now it is 2 pm and things are open. Dreams are achievable. I’m lying awake in bed, jolted from sleep by a craving for cheesecake, and I can’t go back to sleep because I keep thinking about how open and accessible the grocery store is.

ironically i love thrifting but ive never thought about using ebay, do you have any tips or keywords you use on it to find deals and shifty stuff/wording to look out for?

honestly I don't find ebay to be shifty for buying stuff! people are scared about using it sometimes and I think it's a little funny lol I guess the tip would be that if you search for an item with vague enough terms, you'll get some SHEIN-esque mass produced clothes muddying the results. and you know it when you see it, because those listings look like shit btw. this type of thing:

like, these are real listings and everything, and you'd get the product, but they are obviously not what you're looking for. you can ignore these, but if you want to filter them out, you can just narrow the search to SPECIFICALLY pre-owned items.

There isn't really any wording to look out for-- the only other thing would just be to make sure the stuff you get can be returned, bc sellers can specify whether or not they'll take the items back!

if you pay enough attention to the bob's burgers lore you'll notice that zeke and jimmy jr wanting to start their own fashion company/become famous fashion designers together has been a consistent goal since like season four. but the product they want to make keeps changing (ie: the tankbottoms)

anyway i swept the leaves out of my garage and built a shelf and those two actions were enough to leave me too tired to do anything about the fact that now there are two shelves in my room that only has room for one of them
