It makes me SICK when i see people talking about women who suffered a lot on history, and they mention Marie Antoinette. Like, "Oh poor Marie, she said sorry to the man who was going to execute her for stepping on his foot" or "poor her, her infamous phrase was not actually said by her." Like, are we forgetting that she was a queen? An oppressor of the working class?? She was an arch conservative, just like her husband. Her death was not due to misogyny. Stop pretending like she was one of the biggest victims in women's history. Stop pretending she was sweet. Feminism without class consciousness that pretends that rich women suffer the same way that working class women are USELESS.

I want to be in community with men, especially marginalized men whose political goals align with mine, while trusting that any critique of misogyny won't immediately turn them into fascists. hot take: putting the word “white” in front of the word “women” does not absolve you of being a misogynist or internalising your misogyny. White women also face misogyny and are oppressed by the patriarchy, and yes this includes the delulu brainwashed ones and the ones with the crazy religious upbringing and the ones with this and that privilege. All women are often held to some weird ass stereotype designed by males to pit us against each other while allowing them to mold women into their fantasies. Like how they think Asian women are timid and doormats, or that black or tall women are masculine or aggressive etc. we need to uplift our sisters and help them get out of situations where they will be under the control and mercy of males. Not beat them down because they made bad choices or made mistakes in the past. Or laughing at them getting denied life saving medical procedures because they are so brainwashed by their conservative moron family members.

I will never make this because it would be for an audience of one (me) but ever since reading "If we Were Villains" (story about serious drama kids in college who perform shakespeare and deal with a murder) I have been entertaining the thought of a crack fic crossover with High School Musical The Musical The Series where the staff decides they will no longer put on shakespeare after the tragic accident that happened at Thanksgiving, because Shakespeare plays would only increase the tension and drama. So they hire Ms. Jen who decides their spring play will actually be High School Musical (which exists in the 90s in this universe) and it ruins the vibe so much that everyone gives up on being dark and mysterious because they're universally pissed at Ms Jen for making them learn choreoraphed basketball dancing.

im already tired of the 'man vs bear' debate. it went from actually meaningful discussion about sexual assault and how men need to do better to just purposefully ragebaiting incels and nothing of actual value. and that's not even getting into the fact that the discourse only focuses on survivors who are cis women, and less focus on trans survivors, enby survivors (and even male survivors for that matter). hell, transphobes have already started to invade the conversation. we need less rhetorical questions about abuse, and more actual uplifting of survivors and actual education about abuse (for all genders for that matter!)

Choice feminism has rotted people's, especially women's, brains to the point where most of people get super defensive when feminism actually does its job and critiques the things they choose to do. It's probably because the Taliban is stopping women from going to school because they hate women, while Hamas started the current war by going on an antisemitic rape, mutilation, and murder rampage knowing it would start this war, having built and quartered their military in and under schools on purpose. And are now as we speak continuing to enslave and rape female hostages, and every single time a ceasefire comes up they refuse to release those hostages. Israeli education is also being constantly disrupted by Hamas' and Hezbollah's constant bombings, of course the difference being that Israel bothers to allow them access to shelters because lives are more important than propaganda & they don't teach 6 year old girls that committing suicide bombings is their greatest aspiration.

I guess Israeli girls and women (which very much does include muslims and Druze which are also among the dead, hostaged, and displaced) do not matter to the above posters either which makes one wonder why they feel themselves superior.

You are not drumming up support for Gaza, you are dumping on Afghan girls by demanding support for them be contingent on a separate cause you KNOW is widely controversial.

*grabbing young queer people by the shoulders* listen to me. radical feminism is inherently transphobic. you cannot rehabilitate it or reclaim it or make it trans inclusive, I don't care what the people on twitter who claim to be authorities on queerness say. the foundation of radical feminism is nothing but bio and gender essentialism and biphobia and aphobia and anti-kink rhetoric and intersexism and yes, misogyny. it does not offer a future, not for bi people, aroace people, sex workers, not for kinksters, or intersex people, cis women, or trans people regardless of gender and you should care about those people. it will never result in queer liberation because it is an ideology of exclusion and hatred. you gain nothing by buying into the idea that half the population is evil by birth or by transition. you gain nothing by acting like women are perpetual victims who can't think for themselves and are tainted by their association with men. being a man or being attracted to them is not a sin. if we truly want to stand a chance of dismantling the patriarchy we actually NEED men on our side especially marginalized men. they are our allies.

the problem with terfs is not just transphobia, it never was, the radical feminism is also so unbelievably harmful. you cannot save it and it will not save you, stop drawing lines between queer people and join hands with them instead. remove people who are actually harmful, not innocent people who happen to have the wrong sexuality or gender or job. we get there together or we don't get there at all. we need each other now more than ever. do not listen to those who seek to divide us even if they are queer. we all deserve so much better than the hell radical feminism pretends is a liberated future.

I do not blame anyone who fell prey to this rhetoric, I know it feels good to have a common enemy and lash out at those you think are siding with them however they do it, but men, especially marginalized men, are not your enemies. and it's never too late to realize that and change for the better.
