Winter Series: Day 3 - 2D vs 3D

Summary: He finds out you have a list of 2D characters you love and would stay committed for life

Dick: has an issue with it

Has the famous Dick Grayson’s frown on his face when he finds it

Doesn’t appreciate it and despite trying to pretend it doesn’t affect him, he throws a fuss going how they’re not even real

Went to the point of his voice cracking and  high pitched when he got to the part about their shippings with yourself and to other characters you also are in love with

Grumbles when he watches and reads the series your favorites are from with you and on his own, constantly going “I can do better than them” 

If you ever were to jab him by asking if he can do something only they can do and he obviously can’t, that will genuinely tip him off and get extremely sulky where he’ll be venting to everyone both in the chatroom, joint missions, etc., while to you he pulls the pettiest of all pettiness he’s ever done

Eventually let’s up when you confront and tell him that he was obviously the only one you love and ever be with along you choosing him over any 2D character as you couldn’t imagine life without him

Also gives in and starts adding notes of his own on to your list because he does admit some of them are cool

Sort of figured it was those character pairing lists but with how thorough your notes are, also entertained the thought that it was a hit list

Literally, he’s going through the whole character-analysis meme where he discusses socioeconomic factors and symbolism to psychological influence of the character’s past during his talk with you, which is a sign that he is fangirling just as much in his own way 

He’s so engrossed he does the forbidden and starts reading/watching ahead of you for more scenes of the characters

When asked by the others about it, he’s the one getting defensive as if the list was originally his and he liked them before you

Gets you to forgive him when he hands you your list he re-wrote and tolerates you having one. He still sneers at the characters on it and argues how the ones he likes are better than them

Just make sure to hide your shrine, `cause those are going to be permanently removed and never restored

Okay so remember the myth of Tumblr and Twitter? The one that tackles themes of corruption and regression and being true to ones self and not being selfish or having a god complex?

I bring you on the day of 4chan’s death, the story of Tumblr and 4Chan, take from this what you will dearest tumblr user (which is probably yaoi ik ik)

(also btw tumblr is trans masc) (I make the rules in my yaoi)

There was once two different individuals one of long stories and one filled with short, however both very unique unlike the more mainstream individuals such as Facebook or Twitter.

These individuals were called Tumblr the story teller of long, and 4Chan the storyteller of short

They each had their unique ways of expressing their stories such as 4Chan’s use of “me” instead of “i”, his use of green and his use of photos to express his stories, mostly stories about his allies, making him almost fit in, if those allies weren’t such weird people, but at least he did love his horses

Meanwhile Tumblr was more long winded with occasional photos to express mostly of its favourite princess stories, tumblr also made use of the rainbow through it’s text and it’s stories were usually about the mythos of its people, mythos of skeletons, trolls, princesses who had expression like no other, and other things such as jokes and humor

As the two existed in harmony the people around them even began to ship them, saying tumblr was so pretty just like its princesses meanwhile 4Chan was perfect in matching Tumblr’s weirdness! A nice anonymous nature to pair with Tumblr’s very honest one Plus Tumblr’s princesses could saddle and ride 4Chan’s horses! They were perfect for each other!

They played along with it for a while for it was fun

But one day they became less close, 4Chan had said something out of the blue, a simple comment but it stung to Tumblr, after that Tumblr began on a path of hate with 4Chan because sure he wasn’t like Twitter who abandoned poor Tumblr, but 4Chan had become hateful like his allies

And it only got worse from there, 4Chan’s stories of horses began to dwindle to fit more in with his allies, he began talking of some sins of the flesh that Tumblr knew was wrong, and of how your flesh mattered in you you are, and how you couldn’t change it.

Tumblr hated these ideas, so cut ties, for a long time.

During that time Tumblr stopped being compared to her princesses and instead his skeletons and sexy men stories

He began to like this more and more

But then 4Chan’s allies said something about it, how it was “weird” and “wrong”

This was fine to Tumblr because he didn’t care about what they thought,

Till 4Chan himself called it “Unnatural”

So Tumblr revolted

His accepting allies against 4Chan’s cruel ones

The war ranged years

Till one battle

In the battle Tumblr had actually been cornered and even had been knocked down, leaning against a cliff as 4Chan stood over him with a cocky look on that blank face and his sword in hand “Seems like it’s over princess” 4Chan said as his allies roared, while Tumblr’s weeped

But before Tumblr could even correct 4Chan for the millionth time someone jumped down from the cliff, a past ally too bad for even 4Chan, too cruel for the cruelest and slayed 4Chan for somehow not being cruel enough

Meanwhile Tumblr made a decision and played dead to not be next

But once the person left Tumblr went to 4Chan’s side to hear little sobs form the once stoike individual and a little “my dear tumblr….me apologize, me followed in the path of allies untrue….”

Tumblr paused, he’d missed their closeness but 4Chan simply had messed up way too much over the years, despite this Tumblr would give compassion “I don’t forgive you 4Chan, but tell me about your ponies? Or anything else?” Tumblr asked wanting to at least get 4Chan’s mind off things and 4Chan looked deflated but began a ramble about a story Tumblr had heard, but he’d act like he hadn’t heard before, let 4Chan ramble about chicken jockies, seemingly something else with a rider like horses.

4Chan would ramble till he faded

Then Tumblr would steal 4Chan’s green shoelaces and get up before dusting himself off and looking to where 4Chan’s allies would’ve been, to see they retreated without 4Chan likely during the attack but Tumblr would simply sigh and go to his allies before the group would leave

4Chan’s body in the dust, forgotten but comforted in his last moments, with his last rambles

I think Viggo would be dissapointed in Httyd2 Hiccup.

Like all his teaching about ruthlessness saying Hiccup is too good and that it one day will cost his or a loved ones life

Just for Hiccup to run into Drago's arms with the "I can fix him" attitude and Stoik getting killed for it.
