Got a little experimental to see Dune part 2 today (but not too experimental. Gauze for Dune is probably not the most ... creative choice, all things considered). Originally went for the pleather sleeves to match the trim on the crop jacket, but they were just too damn warm (it's still 28°C+ here). Also removed the cross from the Ozz On belt piece before leaving home because it kept catching on the gauze and I didn't want it to damage the fabric. I think it must have a tiny casting burr somewhere on it, so I guess I'll have to find that and file it down.

not only is he a great visual representation of Warden, but his story is SO ACCURATE ITS SCARY.

point 1: He is the leader of vikings (which you could argue are similar to gangsters)

point 2: He has an only son who is the heir to their ‘kingdom’ (if you will)

point 3: His wife was killed by a bloodthirsty group that terrorised their neighbourhood (dragons but anyway)

(not to mention that his wife turns out to be alive in the second or third movie 🤔 … huh.. that’s really interesting SAKU?)

Do you ever think of Stoik and Valka being domestic back in Berk while Hiccup finally learns to be the son of someone happy? Do you ever think of Valka learning to be a mother without the heaviness of grief on her shoulders? Do you ever think of Hiccup sharing meaningful moments with his mom, someone proud of him for existing? Do you ever think of him discovering who his dad is when Stoik learns to be a man, not a chief who happens to be a father? Do you ever think of Stoik and Valka, lovers destined to lose each other and live with only the remains of their lovers, their son, by their side? "I thought I'd have to die before I had that dance again." Do you ever think of the grief, hope and adoration contained in that one proposal song?

Imagine if Peppy rushed for his life to save Poppy/Viva from a villain who was going to ki!! her but instead, the villain ki!!ed Peppy, and Branch saw what happened, it traumatized him and that brought the memory of his grandma’s death. It would be SO heartbreaking and sad!

Thats something Branch went through, he NEVER wanted any of his brothers, friends or Poppy to go same way as he did. Him losing his grandma was really heartbreaking, no one else deserved that….

I know it is kinda of like How to training your dragons 2, how Hiccup’s father rushed his life to save his son’s life.

And I know it’s supposed to be friendly but we literally saw Hiccups’s tether’s death and Samba’s father’s death from The Lion King. There’s some deaths in Trolls so yeah.

Honestly I wish we would see the relationship of Peppy and Branch, I mean Branch is dating Peppy’s daughter.

I’m curious to know what will happen in Trolls 4 but too bad we have to wait for few years then to see :’D

My goals for the year include trying to wear lolita more often, more casually, and being less picky about "perfect" coords. I've noticed that I will skip wearing lolita if I feel like I don't have every exact piece I want to wear ready, or don't feel like wearing heels, or don't want to wear wrist cuffs, or some other small excuses. So I'm trying to break that habit and get back to wearing lolita once a week at least!

I didn't quite make it for January (my garage door exploded, I've taken up gardening, the weather has been stupid hot, and some other things went wrong with my plans), so I'll be doing my best to continue with February.
