Playlist for Feeling Alive:

I’m working on a project of sorts to identify what in music brings out feelings of frisson. Frisson is often described as “goosebump moments,” or “the feeling of being alive.”

I would like to know what songs, or pieces of songs cause frisson moments for you. And if you can identify why it makes you feel that way, that would be really cool too! You could put it in the reblogs or reply or repost.

If you’d like an example, the opening note in This is Berk by John Powell, or the flute melody of Wind by Akeboshi, are moments that tug on my heartstrings every time I listen to them.
