Well! I started remodeling the house sooo long ago (original post of it back in 2018), then got distracted and forgot it in the closet for a long time, ignored it on and off, etc... Then, finally finished the house in 2022. THEN, I forgot about the pictures I took of it in 2022, and am now posting them in 2024.. A good example of how the timeline of my side craft projects usually go lol

But, at least I do have the photos now, so... finally sharing them ! 

I just used a blue sheet as a 'sky' and a green sweater with some fake flowers on it to try to look like it was on grass lol...

The pictures are not very good, but these are the best I could find? I filmed a video of me working on the whole thing (who knows when that will be out..if it took me TWO years just to post the photos lol), so I think while I was taking the pictures, I was thinking “eh, they don’t have to be great, since I’ll show it in more detail in the video :3″, but now I kind of regret not having more actual detail shots or anything.

(sidenote: I'm pretty sure I've posted better pictures of some of the individual rooms before though too? sometime before I had added the finishing touches but when they were basically done and looked almost the same as these. so maybe it's okay that these are kind of bad lol)

I think progress on it also stalled a bit due to the pandemic starting, since like 90% of the stuff in here is random things I found at the bins (giant goodwill donation center where you dig through tubs of various items all thrown together), so once I couldn’t go out to the bins anymore, I lost my method of hunting for new items, and just had to work with whatever scraps I already had or could make myself with very few materials/tools.  The bins is a really large and always crowded place, so it's still not safe for me to go with current community transmission levels lol... who knows when I shall be able to use it to get dirt cheap crafting supplies ever again.. T o T

ANYWAY! It was a fun little project, even though of course it's a little rough around the edges and not exactly as I'd envisioned lol. As usual, I always enjoy the MAKING of things the most, yet then have no idea what to do with the finished project, since the process is what's enjoyable to me.

I think I'm going to take all the glued down furniture out of it and then repaint it, then maybe donate the base house back to the same thrift store I found it at. Like completing some sort of crafting circle of life or something lol

“You’re cooking?”

Satan pauses in the doorway with a confused expression, reading glasses perched high on his nose. You hummed in affirmation, as your free hand pointed to the table. His gaze followed your finger and landed on the bottle of blueberry juice.

“Is that for me?” He questions, walking over to pick up the bottle to inspect the label closer.

“Don’t you always crave this when you start to read?” You counter, as you grab a pan to start on your cooking. Satan falls silent as he continues to watch you move around, seeming as though he wanted to ask you a question. 

“Why are you cooking?”

“He’s sleeping.” You clarified. You had taken it upon yourself to whip up dinner since Belphie, who was supposedly in charge of cooking, was still knocked out cold in the attic. None of the usual tactics had worked so instead of wasting more time, you decided it would be better to start on cooking.

Satan just blanks at you with a inquisitive expression.

Ah, it must not have been what you used to do. The past you would have probably just gotten takeout on Lucifer’s dime or somehow, one way or another gotten Belphie awake. It’s been a couple of days since you had gotten back to your current timeline but you were still not used to the change. It seemed that the servitude was surprisingly ingrained deeper than you had thought.

The buzzing of your D.D.D thrums over the indistinct sizzling from the pan. None of the brothers has gone out today. Thus, it leads to the question. Who was calling you?

 With a furrow, you checked the caller ID. 

Caller ID: Solomon <3

“Ah, you picked up. I’m about to head home, and I was wondering what’s for dinner. If we’re missing anything, I can buy it on the way back.” The voice on the other side crackled pleasantly. You shift your D.D.D down so you could use your shoulder to hold it against your ear. 

“Devil duck confit.” You bent over slightly to let Solomon hear the sizzling from the pan. This was one of Solomon’s favourite (though to be fair, he is one of the least pickiest eater you have seen in your life, second to Beel). It also helped that you had some leftover duck meat from the previous night to prepare the dish.

Solomon lets out a laugh.

“I can’t wait, I’ll get some Demonus to go with the meal too. See you later.” He coos at you before hanging up the phone.

You slid the phone back into your pocket when you met eyes with Satan who was giving you a look that practically screamed what-the-hell as you belatedly realise your mistake.

“Uh.” You started. “I cooked an extra portion for Solomon.” 

Satan’s eyebrows shoot up in surprise. “Since when were you that close to him?” 

“Since now…?” 

Satan continues to stare at you suspiciously. “Is he coming here or are you going to Purgatory Hall?”

“Uh… let me ask him.” You clearly hadn’t thought that far ahead in your lie. With a sheepish smile, you brought out your D.D.D to shoot him a message.

[6:45PM] You: do you want to come to my place here for dinner or should i bring it over to Purgatory Hall?

[6:47PM] Solomon <3: Ah right. I forgot that we no longer live together.

[6:47PM] Solomon <3: Would you mind meeting me outside of the House of Lamentation? We can go to the nearby park to eat. It’s been a while since we had a date alone.

[6:50PM] You: 👍

a/n ▸I finally got that solomon call so here is my addition lol also i clearly havent gotten far/played nightbringer so my characterisations could be completely wrong so uhhh just ignore it LOL

Heyyy so maybe I'm insane but. Do NOT Take This Cat Home (which I'll shorten to Dnttch) yandere rottmnt au. Hmmm. I havent slept in 24 hours so I don't know how you would meet them but I do know that it would be very fun to think about how the weird eldritch horror/"OH NO THEY EAT PEOPLE" part would come into play.

Oh wait actually IDEA you could start off meeting one of the turtles (probably Mikey, he'd be most likely to stick around instead of eating you and convince you to take him home because he's so lost and hungry in this new place, couldn't you pleeaaase take pity on this poor turtle?) and then over time, since we know in the Dnttch universe, the cat multiplies in at least two ways (I, in fact have not seen all the endings yet), so the first turtle could gather the other three over time. One could be from a plushie in the pet shop or won at the carnival (prob Raph), the second could be from the movie theater (Leo, I think the hypnosis is weirdly fitting for him), and the final one... Wait. I'm not sure. THERES A LITTLE LIVE PETS TURTLE???? YEAH OK THATS FUNNY I'LL PUT IT IN.

Buuuuuuttttt after the four are all gathered and living in your house (despite your insistence that you couldn't possibly afford to support them. luckily, despite occasionally waking up and seeing one of them in the corner of your room drooling, they've never shown any need to eat) they've gotten a bit attached. They saw you as a possible meal, at first, then a convenient hiding place, but they seem to have found themselves getting attached. They decide that since you've helped them soo much, that they should at least return the favor before they decide to eat you(something you're frighteningly aware they've almost done- the still healing scar from the last time the red one visited your room) or leave.

Now, you feel constant eyes staring holes into your back, and your rude coworkers now either show up on the news with their bones picked almost clean or don't turn up at all. Now, sometimes they'll bring back one of their kills to share with you (after all, aren't you hungry? They've seen you eat, but surely it isn't filling enough to really sustain you- to them, that's why you seem so tired all the time). Since you always turn them down, maybe instead they'll just have you help them store the leftovers!

Raph, as they've taken to calling the biggest of them, eats more frequently than the others to sustain his growth, so there can sometimes be extras that the other three don't particularly want at the time. He even goes out of his way to help you with tearing and cutting apart the meat! It's almost sweet, if only for the weight of what exactly you're putting in Tupperware right now.

Leo gets more aggressive about your attention now, always begging you to play games or watch TV with him. Sometimes he's even fine with just reading comics in the same place, as long as he gets to hold onto you in some way. It's annoying at best in the morning when you have to go to work, but downright terrifying when his marks flare up late at night after you've just insisted for the 10th time that you're tired and don't want to deal with him. Usually, the threat of flickering blue light vaguely forming some kind of sword is enough to convince you otherwise.

Mikey tries his best to help you adjust to your new roommates! He knows how stressed out you are about work, you should tell him about it! He'll even take notes about how they can all brighten your day, so feel free to speak your mind about that horrible lady who yelled at you today. Was she your boss? A coworker? Maybe a customer who asked for the manager? He'll give you a warm hug and reassure you that everything will be ok, and that maybe you should teach him a new recipe from granny's cookbook tonight to take your mind off things! The scene you wake up to the next morning is Mikey humming to himself while the girl's flesh sizzles in the pan you let him borrow last night, Raph drooling over said slab of meat, as well as Donnie and Leo playing the most intense game of rock paper scissors (a game they're glad you taught them- how else would they make decisions) to decide who gets the first plate of food.

Donnie's always useful to have around, his fascination with human technology quickly being honed into electronic mastery. Despite his more reclusive nature, he's still gotten you out of many a pinch with malfunctioning devices, like when you sorrowfully cradled your old toaster in your arms on your way to trash it, only for him to take it from you and return it a couple days later fixed up like new. You appreciate his contributions, and though you're the beta tester for a multitude of his dangerous inventions, with the amount he does for you, it's hard to not feel like you owe him, especially when he himself openly agrees with that point. You just wish he'd give you a break from the explosions...

Ghost x Reader x Konig

Author's note: Hey hey hey! It's been a while hahahs I actually have chapter 4 and chapter 5 planned out but i havent got the energy to write them :') All i can say is that everything in this story has been going too well right now... >:)

You’re waiting once again for Simon to pick you up from work. It’s now become an almost daily thing for a month now, the two of you. You’d finish work, Simon would show up in his pickup truck and occasionally the two of you would eat dinner together.

Okay, you do partially feel as if you’re cheating on Konig in some way by having dinner with your neighbor (Konig said he had a work emergency and he was going to be gone for a month or two), but your roommate wasn’t here to keep you company anymore and you weren’t willing to eat dinner alone after being so accustomed to the company you had.

Today, the atmosphere in the car seems a little different than the rest. Just a little, though. You decide not to comment on it and buckle your seatbelt before he starts driving. “How was work?” Simon would ask the usual question. “Fine,” you would reply tiredly with a sigh. The two of you would fall into a domestic routine in such a short time, yet neither of you ever really questioned it.

The patter of rain provided a relaxing white noise as the two of you sit in comfortable silence, waiting for the traffic light to turn green. The streetlamps glisten and you turn to see Simon in his balaclava that he wears only when going on missions.

“I’m going to be deployed. Tonight.” He finally breaks it to you. “Oh.” You reply, but you can’t be sure if it sounded sad or understanding. Maybe both. “Do you know when you’re coming back?” He shrugs, eyes still fixated on the road. “I’m thinkin’ 2 months at least.”

There’s another silence that follows, but this time around it’s filled with a lot of unsaid words waiting to be spoken into existence. Simon turns to look at you. God, he wishes he didn’t because the red from the traffic light paints your features in the best way, and he doesn’t think he could forget this moment anytime soon. “You’ll be fine without me yeah?” Simon finally asks. You feel like there’s a secret message lying hidden somewhere in the question by the way he looks at you, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. “Yeah, I’ll be fine.”

You spend your days without Simon and Konig counting. Counting how many days it’s been since they’ve been gone, and the times you accidentally cook food for two. Today marks the 2 month mark, and to be honest, you still haven’t gotten used to your apartment engulfed in darkness when you get back from work. You sigh.

Simon spends his days counting unconsciously. He takes another long drag from his cigarette and watches the smoke slowly disappear into the night sky outside of a bar the team decided to celebrate their victory at. It’s a little chilly. Winter is approaching, and he hopes you’re warm and tucked into your apartment right about now. Soap stands beside him, accompanying him. “You goin’ home for Christmas, L.T?” he says. Soap expects Ghost to say no, or to say something along the lines of spending the holiday alone.

Ghost gazes at the stars which is something he doesn’t really do since he was a kid and god, he swears he still sees your face as the stars twinkle. He hums. “Got a Christmas gift for someone. Gotta give it to ‘em somehow.” Soap’s taken aback at his answer but chooses not to pry too much into his private life. Not this time at least. Suddenly the bar cheers with happiness and the clinking of beer bottles. “Happy for ya, L.T.” Soap says as a small knowing smile spreads on his lips.

Ghost spends the time taken for the trip back to his civilian life decompressing and when he reaches home, he wants nothing more than the dinners the two of you had before he left for the mission. But he decides the moment his duffel bag hits the floor, that he really, really needs to sleep first. That doesn’t stop him from thinking about you though, cause he dreams of the moment when he picked you up from work in his pickup truck.

You’re ecstatic when Simon tells you he’s back. You prepare dinner, finally making food for two (or three, with how much this guy eats). And you’re basically skipping when Simon knocks on your door.

Dinner with Simon is calm yet filled with excitement and happiness. You both catch up on each other’s lives, and you tell him about everything he’s missed out on since he left. You tell him about the stray orange cat that found its way into your apartment once (you still have no clue how) and has now become a visitor occasionally — you leave out the part where you subconsciously named it after him.

You’re washing the dishes and Simon’s keeping the leftovers for your lunch tomorrow when the topic of long distance relationships get brought up. “I mean, it must be hard to maintain relationships, right? Especially since you don’t get to see each other for ages.” Ghost hums in agreement, a sign that you’ve learnt to understand that he’s listening to you intently. “I can’t imagine working in the military is any easier. Hell, I felt a little sad when you left too, I can’t imagine what your girlfriend would be feeling.”

“Don’t have one.” He says. And you smile a little. “Yeah, but imagine if you did. It’ll be like one of those old war movies.” You giggle at the thought and Simon joins you in washing the dishes. “Oh, my darling,” you say in an exaggerated voice of a lover. “I don’t think I could love you anymore. The pain is too much to bear!”

Your theatrics tugs the corner of Simon’s lips upwards and he looks at you softly, arching his brow. “Y’ love me?” his voice rumbles, and it sounds something akin to the taste of vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzled on top which is weird, because you’ve never really liked the taste of caramel. Well, not until now.

There’s a certain softness in this moment, you tell yourself. There’s this feeling that you don’t think you could forget this look on his face. You blink and he’s taken the soapy cutlery from your hand and starts to wash the soap off them. “I forget how much I miss my soft bed when I come back. And being able to sleep in a little longer.” He sighs and it’s your turn to hum along. “And I missed your cooking.” He says a little softer this time, eyes focusing on the bubbles as they get washed away from the water. I missed this, you think.

first of all, I'M OBSESSED WITH THEM

I've been meaning to draw him ever since I woke up to the update trailer and saw all the fanarts already after not even 4 hours 😭

I've been busy with going to pride so I sadly havent gotten to it during the weekend since that turned out to be a 2 day trip, I honestly feel like I missed out on an international cotl holiday with not being able to be online 💀

I finally drew them during class today tho 😈 I will post it later so stay tuned!

I’m maybe seeing someone, or was. We’ve hit a bit of a rough patch, and I’m questioning some things. But its whatever.

The boys were both sick recently, but doing better now. Damian tried to bully some dogs today.

I turned 31 four days ago. I still have that mental block about my age so…i dunno. It was a normal day.

After eight months, i finally got back to the comics shop. Can finally finish the Damian’s latest robin series haha.

My house is a wreck but I haven’t quite gotten enough out of my funk to do the deep clean so desperately needed. Maybe the nicer the weather is, my motivation will come back. Same for writing. Its not there yet, but I’m getting those daydream plot ideas again. Its been a while for those.

And I've also decided to work on the worldbuilding of the rp more, specifically the country's cultural practices and I'm pretty sure no one cares if I use Greek and Japanese inspiration at the same time- I mean the country's literally been named OLYMPIA for the past 2 years we already used a bit of Greek inspiration, but Muroko being a heavily influential god to them and him being fully inspired by Japanese rulers and gods kind of makes him feel out of place if it's all Greek-inspired culture. PART OF THIS PROCESS ALSO INCLUDES ME GOING ON PINTEREST AND MAKING A SMALL MOODBOARD TO SHARE WITH THEM :D

inferno is out of eeby deeby. he last remembers being in the cave lol. of course, undyne comes over and grabs his hair. barbie is just confused lol. dans messages moss god if they can kill him yet. no darn. vani and tori both picked up jevils scent nice. its in 1 spot so gotta keep going in a radius. just keep following. near the city gate cool. frog is riding tori for funsies. barbie finally asks why inferno is being dragged by his hair. its cause hes evil lol. she wonders why no hand holding like wtf no barbie. everytime they pass someone they cheer hi barbie xD jevil seems to be zig zagging around. just keep following. we finally found a trail!

river in the way. barbie gets to see soupnik lol. she summons a pink pegasus. gotta get across this big river. 1.5 miles across?! time to get on soupnik. frog hops on the pegasus lol. tori squints but allows it.

on the otherside! (moss is so mad we keep rolling high and wont let us find a trail cheater) barbie says she has to get back to work and is gonna send another paladin to help us. tori wants to know who shes sending so suzy translates lol. the person that put jevil away originally. tori unwild shapes. dans is playing fetch with vani. tori communes with nature. suzy is trying to swim goddamn. inferno wishes he could swim F.

jevils not here. tori goes and gets suzy from the river lol. no drowning today xD suzy asks if jevil swam it lol. dunno since moss didnt let us smell him. dans comments he might have been swept away. inferno says he might be dead and frog gets sad. dans comforts them and says jevil is strong so hes fine. undyne goes to dunk inferno in the river lol but stops cause frog says too.

the others manage to convince undyne to release inferno but she says shes gonna kill him if he tries anything. suzy says shes not allowed to kill him lol. tori is talking to trees asking about jevil lol. suzy tries to swim again! inferno tries to tell suzy shes gonna fucking drown lol. she says she can swim and ignores him. tori whips around like nuh uh. suzys like fuck. she sits by inferno and he says theyll jump in the next river.

tbh i think my biggest issue with the tv show in a tv show theory for dw this season is just that i'm simply never that invested in the doctor who mystery of the season and care far more about the quality of the individual episodes and/or two-parters. if it ends up paying off in a satisfying way, then that's a nice bonus (the stolen planets in season 4). if not, then oh well (season 7 ????).

but like that's it. a nice bonus. this is partly why i like season 9 the most because literally moffat doesn't even care about the hybrid thing he set up. it's all a scheme to do character work (the thing he is actually good at). it's played up a bit too much, but the point at the end of the day is the character work which is solid.

rtd has never really been great with payoffs either and i said this in another post. the entire appeal of every single one of his episodes that actually worked is all character work. the reason nine is so beloved is the character writing. the reason season one is so beloved is the character writing. that's the thing he's good at. even outside of doctor who, every single thing he's written that is critically acclaimed is highly character focused. it's the thing he's good at.

and instead of focusing on his characters, he is busy setting up the snowing and the songs and susan twist and all the other stuff that will surely be relevant soon in the finale or maybe in the next season.

and genuinely like regardless of how awesome the idea he has come up with is, we're going to go into this finale having extremely bare bones characters. the doctor was lucky enough to be the focal point of boom so at least he's got that, but what does ruby have? she's had some pretty run of the mill adventures. she's a run of the mill companion. but so far there's nothing that makes her unique. she's got lore, but that's just lore. it doesn't tell you much about ruby as a person. she is way too bland as a companion to be going into the season finale already. rtd1 companions and amy and bill didn't have this issue for their first season finales.

like. people haven't been coming to doctor who for 60 years because of it's high concept storytelling, because plenty of the storytelling is extremely questionable and stupid. people have been coming to doctor who for 60 years because they like the characters. people today who are younger than the 2005 revival are fans of characters who havent shown up on tv since the 60s. it's the characters that people get attached to, and the doctor and ruby just haven't gotten enough character writing yet. and what is the point of all of this pomp and circumstance if at the end of the day your characters are more archetypes than people. yeah, it's a nice idea if it's all part of the tv show in a tv show endgame, but at the end of the day we still have to deal with characters who are very bland compared to their earlier counterparts.

alright its finally time to give an update :3c

so first off: my moms plants went back outside and since then ive had all my carnivores (plus the orchids, which we decided id keep) in a temporary set up but today i finally got them to their new home; the milsbo!

milsbo is an ikea cabinet somewhat famous for its use as a greenhouse--i havent fully converted it and am still waiting for some parts to come in the mail so it wont be done fully until next week but! this is pretty good so far. these are alternate shelves for it with air holes that will let humidity pass through and air circulate so i was finally able to put plants in today after they arrived! heres the set up:

as you can see lights are still outside because my power strip for the inside hasnt come yet but they should work fine from the outside + its still by the window--im not worried about light for now. power strip will also be good for some fans to keep the air circulating inside. you can actually see the desk i have been using in the back lol. you can also see i have more orchids than i did before--i wound up buying two very fancy lady slipper orchids which seem to be pretty happy so far! will keep it updated.

obviously theres some space problems here because of how large moe is, so honestly ive been thinking of giving it a big chop. i havent fully decided yet but i will be mulling it over, and if i do i should be able to make things a little less cramped in there. excluded is my ampularia which has scale, somehow? i dont know how it got scale but nothing else has, so its quarantined for a while until im absolutely sure its free, and then itll go in that bottom space beside moe. youll note this leaves very little space for my humidifier--because if all goes well the milsbo will retain enough humidity to not need to constantly pumped into the air--meaning im fucking free of this oppressively wet and hot room! this is the biggest and best selling point of a cabinet, space limitations aside. im not sure itll work as-is--i might need to make a large pebble tray for the bottom, and i may have to weather strip the gap between the doors, but figuring out what to do there will have to wait and see based on how well it retains moisture overnight.

anyway heres some updates on the plants themselves: i finally got moe to make pitchers again! having it under lights helped a ton so im keeping in mind how necessary lighting is. heres some examples:
