Per my last post, it was extremely confusing to figure out anything related to Doctor who. Turns out its episodic wikipedia. Why did you phrase it like that. Why. (multi episode arcs my ass)

Anyway, to cut down someone else's struggle with finding the show, if your trying to get into Doctor Who & are in America, either have a vpn, or have cable & a dvr. Its available on the BBC iPlayer, but only in the UK, which is the vpn thing. Otherwise, internet archive has the first 4 seasons (midway through it becomes only in French) & BBC America is currently at the end of season 2

community college is so funny because half of the teachers are like "For this class you need to use lockdown browser for all quizzes and tests. You need to buy this 70 dollar textbook, and all papers turned in must be in APA format with a title page even if they're only 500 words long. I will not accept late assignments. Also you have a minimum of 4 assignments a week." and the other half are like "you don't need proctoring for the final exam I trust you. here's a download link to a pirated copy of the textbook. as long as your writing is coherent and demonstrates an understanding of the material I literally could not care less what format you use. I can't figure out how canvas works so I'm not giving you due dates, just make sure it's turned in before the grading period ends. your only weekly assignment is a forum post with a minimum of 100 words."

no shame to whoever likes this stuff but i always think its insane just how many people like hetalia where theyre sobbing and terrible people and abuse and cheating and crazysauce shit. cuz i love evil stories with darker themes/relationships too dont get me wrong but it feels to me like doing that to hetalia is like doing that to looney tunes. me when woodpecker has irreversably traumatized coyote and [REDACTED][REDACTED][REDACTED]. im just sayin guys i think hetalia fandom is in the same ballpark of the south park fandom sometimes

Been thinking recently of Barts backstory and how the events in his life would fit into a timeline.

Edit:

I’d created this before Episode 80, where they delve deeper into Bart’s backstory, (which is completely different then what i’d written here.) so im changing it and ig consider this a Stinky Dragon Adventures AU? Since I like to think of that series as an alternative timeline

Bart came from Tetora, was placed in the orphanage, found Gum Gum, became a pirate on the Jebediah, and then went back to pick up Gum Gum again.

In an episode where Bart infiltrates an orphanage, he explains how he’d been taken in by a not-so-good family, so he ran away and went to get his real family (Gum Gum).

Timeline:

I like to think that Bart had a few years to get to know Gum Gum and help raise him in the orphanage, teaching him simple things like how to count and the ABC’s.

Eventually, Bart gets adopted, asking the family that chose him if Gum Gum can come too. The family isn’t subtle with their disdain, raising major red flags. Bart is crushed, forced to say goodbye to his one and only friend. He’s adopted against his will, realizing later on how neglectful his “family” is.

He runs away, becoming a pirate on the Jebediah after being found by Marge. Bart lives the best years/months of his life, but every night he can’t stop thinking of the baby half-orc he left all alone in that orphanage. The guilt becomes all-consuming, as well as the hunger that he has to make a name for himself; something he can’t do by being a member on the ship.

He bids Marge goodbye, telling the crew that he’ll see them again some time in the future.

Once Bart finds the orphanage, he’s relieved to see Gum Gum still there, but shocked at how much he’s grown. Gum Gum doesn’t recognize him at first, and Bart realizes he must have changed a bit too from his days on the Jebediah. But after a second or two Gum Gum lights up, scooping Bart up into a big hug.

Captains, did you get any backlash from crewmates about your relationship?

Were any (Dead)past crewmates homophobic and vocal about it?

Yeah... some people didn't agree with me suddenly coming to the ship and becoming captain. There was a little group that wanted to question it, I don't think they were specifically worried about we being a couple but more of me becoming a captain, but they sure said some offensive stuff behind our backs!

Well, they made a very good stew for Cellbit! I prepared it with a lot of love despite it all.

I'd say it's a mix between being bored with powercreep and the wall of text explanations + gimmy mechanics (unit initiates, you die), my lack of interest in the plot, even if the healing hands plot was apparently eons away from sniddies I couldn't really get into, and lack of interest in the new banners.

Sure I was happy when Fomortiis or Athos got their turn, but there's no "I love this I must roll!" feeling anymore : bar "catch them all" ing your faves, there is no incentive to roll.

Legendary and Mythic banners being either Emblems or OCs played a part in this burn out, but then, I also think it's also the burn out of knowing L!Sakura is a thing before L!Tibarn, if FEH was supposed to celebrate the franchise and be a tribute to its most iconic or important characters, I feel like if the game was released today, FE16!Hilda would been have picked over Marth as an unit you can start your game with.

Whatever I'm using FEH for now - looking at lines and new content for characters I like - can be done through the wikis/PK so... if logging in became a chore, I felt like it'd be best just to drop it.

But if some people still feel like they derive some enjoyment from FEH, then good for them!

It's, just, not the case for me anymore.
