My sense of humour peaked when I went to a mountain with snow with my sister and hit her with a very hard snowball and she started crying and I said "do you want some ice for that?" while holding another snowball to her when I was 7 and I can never achieve that again

I just finished the Magnus Archives season 4 and holy fuck. It was all so calculated. I thought that the last episode would be JMart peacefully existing and taking a moment to collect themselves after everything, then go back to the Archive and solving problems together with the people they care about.

Then Elias comes in with an exact statement about how he made John bring about the fucking apocalypse and exactly how the powers and rituals work. He forced John to bring it about and now it is all over. I don’t know if anyone is going to survive. I just want them to be happy.

Does anyone else remember the game "I Spy Treasure Hunt?" This was my absolute FAVORITE game as a kid and sometimes I still watch playthroughs of it when I need a hit of that good old nostalgia

Just found out about the new Nosferatu movie coming out hopefully next year and the casting for it. Oh my god the way the casting was made just for me. Okay so Nicholas Hoult is in it, Bill Skarsgård is playing Nosferatu, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson??? Also William Dafoe ??? Like I need to see this movie now.

thoughts from chapters 7-10

- katniss is truly a teenage girl sometimes like she spends an hour crying her eyes out (it was for a valid reason i’ll give her that) and then “i taste the salty fish soup and it reminds me of my tears” okay you little emo

- katniss and cinna are such a sweet pair (not even in a romantic way just even as friends they’re so lovely). like the way she didn’t want to disappoint him or nullify his hard work, the way he’s the one (not haymitch) to figure out how to get her through the interview, the way he asks to be a friend and genuinely sympathises with her and her sister, the “if i could i’d bet on you” UGH

- it seems so intentional that the sections move from The Tributes to The Games immediately after peeta announces his love for katniss. it’s almost as if his very strategic declaration, his playing the games, starts the games for real. and it’s even more significant to me because when peeta says he “doesn’t want to be a piece in their games” i always thought that he already had been by virtue of dropping these twists and truth bombs

- i did not even clock the first time reading this that the arenas become tourist destinations after. yuck.

- (i had begun to think that what it is is just one arena, changed internally each year to a different landscape but ultimately one location. but no it’s a different location each time oops i forgot)

I’m trying to find a gif set of the scene but there’s a quote from a show i like that is “ People like us live on borrowed time.  We either end up behind bars or dead. “ and that’s a very fitting quote for the TR muses, especially Kazutora and Hanma. Hanma would say it but the scene is very fitting for Kazutora too bc there’s someone else who goes “There’s always another way.” and the original speaker just “No. Eventually it catches up to you. This is as close as I think I can get to a happy ending. “
