I guess it ended with Derek visiting Stiles at school as a wolf and his friends trying to tell him that he wasn't a wolf but a werewolf.

Stiles likes college. He also likes his roommates, who are slowly turning into really good friends. They get along, they have a good time, they generally enjoy college life. The only problem is that they are supernatural creatures and think Stiles has no clue. It’s fun for a while, to mess with them, to solve their supernatural problems without them realizing it’s him. It’s fun until one of them digs too deep. It’s fun until Stiles needs all the help he can get to solve that supernatural problem.

Oh and anyone who said that absence makes the heart grow fonder? They can go and screw themselves because they were actually right. Stiles has never talked as often with Derek as he does while being away at college. Their phone calls keep him grounded, keep him sane. They are also the opportunity for him to rant about his stupid supernatural roommates, who actually sort of fanboy/fangirl the Hale family. So Stiles isn’t really sure about how to deal with his growing crush on a certain sourwolf and the fact that his roommates would most likely try to jump Derek if they ever get to know him. Right, if only Stiles weren't in need of Derek's help with a certain supernatural problem.

Before I get into my analysis, I want to present two points of information, easily verifiable from AO3.

There are 97 explicit works labeled as Sterek published between August 15, 2011 and June 3, 2012 (506 overall).

There are 111 explicit works labeled as Draeden on AO3 in total (594 overall).

With this information, I can start to draw the conclusions.

One of the arguments I've always seen is that the romance between Braeden and Derek felt rushed. Of course, most people when they say often forget that Derek and Braeden met formally in More Bad Than Good (3x14) at the beginning of Season 3B, so an entire season passed before they even began to flirt. (Braeden checking Derek out doesn't count, as at least that's an expression of desire, and one that the fandom is extraordinarily experienced with.) The Hales knew about her, because in Muted (4x03), they contacted Braeden for help, so they obviously knew how to get in touch with her and that she was trustworthy.

It is enlightening to think about that in relation to the number of fandom authors who imagined Derek and Stiles being intimate after the six or so weeks that comprised of Season 1, where Stiles was mostly threatened by Derek and felt attracted to Lydia, when he wasn't trying to get Scott to let Derek die. Rushed? What's rushed?

You and others have talked about how fandom simplifies minority characters -- and very, very, very specifically black women -- into character which are either hyper-sexualized or desexualized. The term 'rushed' is a clever and subtle way to frame the relationship in those extremes because its implication is that either the black woman is written for no other purpose but sex (an accusation if leveled against Braeden is transparently absurd) or that the relationship did not hit the proper milestones and is therefore cheap (usually described as the woman 'deserving better' without saying what that is). In either extreme, the relationship is rendered invalid because it wasn't done 'right.'

Guess what relationship is seen as done right in the Teen Wolf fandom? You guessed it -- the relationship between two white men who spent the entirety of the first season hating/using/plotting the other's destruction. As you can tell from above, they didn't seem to have a problem with the 'rushed' nature of the relationship back in 2011-2012. These authors didn't seem to have a problem jumping to sex immediately when they 'transformed' the story into their own version and they didn't seem to worry about whether the story would be fair to the fragile participants, did they?

Now, I know what you're thinking -- but Escalus, when they describe Draeden as 'rushed', they're talking about the show, not fanfiction! True, but they're more than willing to create scenarios that meet their definition of 'rushed' as long as it includes two white male characters, even during the period of the show where they had little to no use for each other.

I'm not talking about individuals -- I'm talking about trends. They were able to conceptualize an entire relationship from twelve episodes with just as much gusto over ten months than the entire eight years since the culmination of Season 4. They could argue many reasons why this could be, including chemistry or any othe reason.

Totally agree on everything you said. Tbh I think Scott was a fun protagonist in the first season, I LOVED the fact that he was just a dumb teenager with only Allison on his mind, so much so that he didn't even realize he was screwing everyone over with his obsession for her. It was realistic, and one of the reasons why season 1 is my fave season (weird I know, but idk, this season makes me emotional).

Then there's Liam, and at the beginning I didn't like him, because he didn't really have a personality, but then around season 5 he started becoming so funny and his interactions with Theo were pure gold. I just didn't like Mason (it felt like he was there to fill the quota of black AND gay characters, but he was just so annoying, and his bf Corey too) and Hayden (let's not even talk about her, what was she even doing here when there was THEO). I feel like their attempt at making Liam the new Scott with Hayden being the new Allison, Mason the new Stiles, Corey the new Lydia and Theo the new Derek was a big failure, and Liam should have been on his own (or Mason could also have been there cause it felt good to see some diversity, but like he should've been way more flamboyant if that makes sense, cause in the show he just felt flat lol). So, Liam had a LOT of potential, especially with Theo and the Enemies to Lovers arc, and it was wasted stupidly. He deserved so much more space in the Movie like ughhh, he barely even talked! I don't even remember if he talked at all!! Plus I was SO looking forward to meeting Hikari, the kitsune, and SHE DIDN'T SAY A SINGLE WORD. She was just there to be Liam's girlfriend and replace Kira to save Scott with fox fire!! It makes me so angry

Also one character who could've been the protagonist in the Movie: Eli, Derek's son. You haven't seen the movie so idk if you'll agree with me but he's actually quite a cool character, like I genuinely appreciated him. He had some Stiles vibes and even dressed like him, which is hilarious considering Derek's relationship with Stiles, and he had Scott's 'pure of heart, dumb of ass' energy from season 1 which was pure gold. This movie could have been a next generation thing, and it would have been probably incredible and would have allowed to keep Teen Wolf's spirit intact, and like Scott, Derek, Malia, Lydia etc could've been the side characters who try to guide their teens through life etc, but they chose to do that shit instead.

Literally any fanfiction is better than what they did.

About TVD: bruh, what even was season 8 lol. Damon just becoming a bad boy again and again and again because the fangirls like it is just plain ridiculous at some point. Like bro. Also how Enzo had so much potential and they chose to make him Bonnie's love interest and nothing else. I mean don't get me wrong I ship them, I'm glad they were together, but that's literally all he was and it pisses me off because the actor who plays him is way too talented to be reduced to just this position. And don't get me started on Alaric/Caroline (i'm literally gonna barf) and their twin daughters like wtf was that lmaoooo

This show should have stopped earlier, and Teen Wolf should never have had a movie if they were gonna do THAT. It's disrespectful to the fans, to the actors, to the nostalgia. It's gonna take me so much time to be able to forget and not see this dumpster fire everytime I watch TW season 1. They ruined it for me.

About Supernatural, I have only seen seasons 1 and 2 very long ago and I just remember I stopped because it felt repetitive lol. So Idk how it held for 15 seasons when TVD season 8 already felt recycled lol

October 2021 Picks

It’s been a bit, but I’m BACK! Life’s been busy, but I’ve still found time to watch TV (as you can probably tell) and man have there been so GREAT things! I can’t wait to talk about them all. 

I know October is still going on, but as I’ve missed September, I thought why not get a head start. So, without further ado, let’s do this!

Some spoilers ahead....

NANCY DREW-SEASON 3

Is it shocking that I’m starting with Nancy Drew? Maybe, if you’re new to this page. If not, you already know my love for this show. (It runs deep.) The third season started three weeks ago-and airs new episodes on Friday on the CW...Catch up now on the CW app, you’ll be happy you did. 

The start to this season is already SO STRONG and has me longing for the next episode. (I just watched last night’s for the second time already.) The cast is so fantastic, and talented. No matter which pairs are on screen it’s fantastic. (Can I say fantastic too many times?) I love every member of this crew so much. This season we are tracking a serial killer, the Frozen Hearts Killer, and keeping our eyes on Temperance Hudson who has recently returned to Horseshoe Bay (and is definitely up to no good). Romances are blossoming. Nick and George are the cutest and feel like parents. Bess has a growing attraction/hate-love relationship with a new character, Addy, and I’m here for it. (Plus, she’s learning magic and I love that for her.) And the Nancy and Ace crumbs are GIVING ME SO MUCH LIFE. (Check out my other blog @lydia-yougowith-stiles for more shipping fangirling moments. There’s many. You’ve been warned.) 

I’ve gotten at least three people to watch this show since the summer, and it is my life’s mission to continue to get people to watch it. It is hands down the best show on the CW right now, and one of the least appreciated. Give it some love. I mean just look at this good-looking cast.

STARGIRL-SEASON 2

Okay, so I know I just said that Nancy Drew is the best show on the CW (and I stand by that), but Stargirl is up there as a very close second. It is my favorite superhero show on the network (and I used to LOVE everything about the Arrowverse, and now I watch like none of it). 

Season 2 is killing it! Season 1 was really strong and I’ve been planning to re-watch it, and I’m so happy that season 2 is delivering so much. The villain this season is *so good.* Eclipso is so creepy and anytime I see that little kid I want to punch him in the face. He is SOOOOO CREEPY. I’m so frustrated where the new JSA is right now, but that just shows how good the writing is. I literally have no idea how they are going to take him down, but I’m here for it and ready. Losing the Shade last week really hurt, and just adds to my list of people I think the show killed off too soon. (You know how I feel about the Brainwaves-specifically Henry.) That being said, a lot of them get to come back in flashbacks, so hopefully we can see him return in some way. I also really love how this show gets to the point. Barbara being a part of the team makes me so happy as does the progression of revealing secrets. Arrow would have dragged out soooo much. 

So, just like I said for Nancy Drew, watch Stargirl on the CW if you aren’t already. You’ll be so much happier that you did. 

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW-SEASON 7

Wow, season 7! That sounds crazy. (I actually had to double check before I posted this.) I figured to stay with this CW train we’re on, so here’s the only Arrowverse show I still watch regularly. 

Last season for me was a little rough. I still enjoyed episodes, but I didn’t love it overall. The aliens plot for me felt forced, and Gary being an alien felt like an after thought and way to make the connection stronger. I also felt like we were losing a lot of the legends. The Waverider has always been a revolving door, but for some reason this one felt like so much was changing. So far, this season I am really enjoying it. (I know there have only been what, two episodes so far?) I like how they are stuck in the 1920s, and need to find a way back to the waverider. There feels like a lot more mystery this season (especially with Gideon and her message at the end of 7x02). Can’t wait to see what happens next. 

LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE

Do you remember the old Nickelodeon game show, Legends of the Hidden Temple? Purple Parrots, Blue Barracudas, Orange Iguanas, Sliver Snakes, Green Monkeys, and Red Jaguars sound familiar? If not, have you ever seen anyone wearing one of these TV shirts at a convention or amusement park? (Guilty.) 

Well, if you ever dreamed of being on the 90s Nick competition show, you’re dream might come true as the CW has rebooted it. On Sunday nights journey back to your childhood as adults compete against each other (outside) for $25,000. The games are familiar, but the vibe is definitely different. Olmec feels old, and the legends are no longer PG rated (which I have no problem with, I would probably still not be able to remember them all). I haven’t been getting into it as much as I thought I would. Maybe you’ll enjoy it more.  

GHOSTS

There’s a joke in my house that I don’t remember that CBS is a network. This is because I don’t often watch TV shows on it. Luckily, one of my friends mentioned Ghosts and I’m so happy they did because it’s a lot of fun. 

Rose Mciver (iZombie) and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Pitch Perfect) star in this half-hour comedy as a couple who inherit a house after Mciver’s distant aunt dies. She wants to flip it into a bed and breakfast, while Ambudkar wants to sell it. The twist is that the house is home to several ghosts who have died on the property over the years, and live there for the unforeseeable future. They don’t want the couple to open a b&b because then they would be stuck sharing their home with more of the living. When Mciver suffers a fall and wakes up from her coma, she sees the ghosts and is now the barrier between them. It’s really funny and definitely worth the watch. The episodes go really fast and will have you laughing. Highly recommend you check it out.  

THE WALKING DEAD-SEASON 11

After a show is on for ten seasons, plots start to feel repetitive and you question if the show has to still be on. The Walking Dead has lost a lot of its original cast, and there are times where I ask myself the above. However, this season had some really great episodes. I was excited to see more of the cast in one episode compared to last year when the filming was limited to how many people were able to be on set at the same time. 

Now with the Whispers gone, we have a lot more problems from the Reapers (who I can’t stand and feel won’t be solved with one season, but has to be), to the Commonwealth (which gives me such ‘The Governor’ vibes. I keep saying that their governor/leader isn’t real-even though they show a picture of her in the upcoming trailer). Plus, there’s the feuding within the group: Negan and Maggie. I did really love how they used the Whispers tacit against the Reapers and that finale was EXPLOSIVE. It’s got me hooked for what’s up next. I also love that Darryl is back with us as is CONNIE!!! Her episode with the feral people gave me nightmares. That’s something I definitely didn’t think I’d see on this show. 

GRANTCHESTER--SEASON 6

Completely shifting gears, because I don’t know how else to jump from the Walking Dead. This month the PBS Masterpiece Mystery, Grantchester, returned with its sixth season. I didn’t realize how much I missed this show. The characters, the town, and all the mysterious drama that comes with it. 

There’s already an overarching story, but each episode also brings another mystery with it. I really enjoyed the second episode with the adoption case. It was SO GOOD. My heart aches for Leonard this season. I have no idea how that’s going to go, especially the way the last episode ended. While I liked Sidney, I really like this fresh breath of life the show got with Will. I really enjoy his character, and his dynamic with Geordie. I’m also excited to see the rest of this season. New episodes are on Sundays on PBS. You can catch up for free on Amazon video with a prime account. 

THE BABYSITTERS CLUB-SEASON 2

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH. Give it a season three right now. 

This adaptation of Ann M. Martin’s beloved book series, released a second season earlier this month, and I watched it so fast. It was SOOO GOOD. I wish it was longer than eight/half-hour episodes. I was laughing, and crying (both sad and happy tears). The characters are so great and real. The stories are heartwarming and feel good, which feels hard to find sometimes. They continue to update the book series in such innovative and creative ways. I can’t stop smiling as I watch. If you want to feel good look no further. You’ll be happy you did. 

SOY LUNA-SEASON 1

Guys! I have made it to episode 62! Are you shocked? I started watching back in June, and hit a lull, but now I am cruising through.  

So much has happened, and now Luna and Simon are a thing? It happened fast, but I don’t think it’s going to last long. Matteo is back with Ambar, which is so annoying and I can’t wait until they break up. Nina is having her webcam call with Gaston as Felicity. (I seriously can’t wait until these two discover who Felicity really is.) There are some things (like Ambar’s sneaky annoying stare) that bother me, but overall I’m having a good time. I will just need to take a break before watching season 2. 

THE OUTPOST

The Outpost finished last month, and I’m so sad to see it go. I was surprised when a fourth season popped up on my DVR (as I’ve said it before) and while they didn’t know the show was ending for good, it had such a strong ending. I’m so happy to see Talon and Garret together and Talon as Queen. It’s the role she deserves. I loved the addition of Luna this season. The gods freaked me out, but thought they were a good villain. I still don’t think Tobin had to die and miss Gwynn, but wish Falista wasn’t around for so long. Munt became one of my favorite characters as the show continued on. Good for him finding love. Janzo and Wren are everything. I wish we could have met their baby. This was an amazing show. More people should have watched it.

THESE hot men have taken over my life

hello, 9-1-1 these men have taken over my life. hey guys it's me Nai and if you didn't know I'm obsessed with sexy men just kidding. I was just hanging out this week and I was like wow I kind of have a grand master list of who I've been obsessed with so I thought hmm I wonder if someone is interested at all and every man that's taken over my life ever. I wrote down from like the age of six who and what guy I've liked all the way up to now I'm 16 and the list has gotten pretty long so I wrote it down in a notebook. I just want to share some of my memories and my thought process behind the men that I've been obsessed with because once a fangirl always a fangirl.

The first person I remember being obsessed with was around the 2013 era when I was seven years old and a guy that rapped songs on youtube called Mattyb. he was my Justin Bieber. Now when I was younger I used to think Mattyb was cute. I just remembered watching and being like he's so cute and I used to pretend he was my boyfriend and like play imaginary you know with your friends and that's my first memory of having like a crush Maybe like Jack Frost, Peter Pan, Danny Phantom I don't know but I'm not getting into cartoons like I kind of opted that one out because obviously, Aladdin was super hot too okay I told myself not to get into cartoons so I'm gonna go to 2014.

Okay in 2014 a little movie called The aliens in the attic, you probably think I liked Tom Pearson well I do not like Tom Pearson I like Jake Pearson that was the phrase I went through. I remember watching the aliens in the attic and my mom was like why are you rewatching that movie again and I was like I'm in love.

I was also obsessed with the little band called one direction, the boy that never left my heart was harry styles. I loved all their songs I and my sister will always listen to their songs and dance along to them.

I remember watching a show called henry danger where I was obsessed with Jace Norman. I had my eyes set on that blonde guy I was in love with him, but that obsession didn't die down all the way to 2016.

I had my eyes on Finn Wolfhard when I have seen him on stranger things, I love him with my whole heart, and I still have an obsession with him to this day, I watched all the movies he was in, and he had my ten-year-old heart still have it.

And then I was obsessed with Rodrick Heffley, he is so hot and I really like him still. That's when my bad boy phrase kicked in it was around 2017 and you know what else happened in 2017 I had a crush on Dylan O'fucking brein baby. I remembered watching teen wolf with my mother and while my friends crushed on Scott Mcall I was like Stiles.

My weirdest crush was MGk, I regretted liking I still feel embarrassed every time someone mentioned him to me. and fucking Pete Davidson I don't know what the fuck I saw in them but whatever I am so glad that crushed died down cause that was embarrassing for 12-year-old me.

and then Timothee Chalamet walked into my life I still have a crush on him by the way, he will always have my heart. I really liked this man I still have the fattest crush on him to this day, he is like my everything you know.

well you think it stopped there well you are wrong, they are also a lot of men that I liked but I am too lazy to put them all. But anyhoo a show called Outerbanks I was obsessed with JJ Maybank, he is like my other half basically. I remembered watching him and I was like shit I am gonna fall in love with him right.

Then I started watching a show called the society and I was obsessed with a guy who was psychotic and evil, his name was Campbell Eliot, yes I know he was a psychopath but he had a good-looking face alright.

And then I watched a show called heathers, and I vowed to myself don't fall in love, I fell in love with Jason Fucking Dean, yeah that's right another psychopath.

I think we all girls had a phrase where they were obsessed with Leonardo Dicaprio, I binged watched all his movies, Jack Dawson had my fucking heart.

Then I started watching a show called deadly class and I was obsessed with Marcus Lopez's underrated show. You should definitely check it out.

Then I watched a show called "I am not okay with this" as I was watching it, I looked at the screen and that's when I fall in love with Wyatt Oleff, I would rewatch it for almost a whole week cause of how much I loved him and I was waiting for season two. Netflix cancelled the show.

Then I was bored outta my mind and that's when I started simping over billy Loomis I rewatched the show for the second time and I realized how hot he really was.

And then I watched a movie called concrete cowboy starring Caleb Mclaughlin, and I am sitting there like when did he get so fine and that's when the obsession began.

Then one of my friends told me to watch a show called hemlock grove, where I fell in love with Bill Skarsgard I didn't know what he looked like and sounded like in real life out of the clown pennywise so when I watched it I was like omg when did Pennywise get so fine like shit.

and now in 2022, I was obsessed with Fezco from Euphoria, I watched edits of him.

Timothee Chalamet seemed to walk back in my life, where I binged watch all his movies watched edits of him, talking about him 24/7.

Stranger things season 4, Peter Ballard/henry creel/001/ vecna aka Jamie Campbell Bower. I fell in love with him without knowing he was the bad guy, I kinda knew he was but I was ignoring it because I didn't wanna believe that he could be so evil.

Joesph Quinn as Eddie Munson I love him so much sad that he had to die I am still mad at the duffer brothers.

And what do you know Elvis came out, and my austin butler phrase was back in. I watched the movie at least a total of 10 times. I'm obsessed with the guy now like really obsessed with him. Austin Butler is the love of my life literally.

and I have more crushes like Johnny Depp, Drew Starkey, Tom Holland, and more.

I feel like these last few months have just been a rollercoaster with Henry Creel coming into stranger things his real name is Jamie Campbell Bower.

Harry Styles, of course, that never goes away. Timothee Chalamet, these are people I just probably never get over I think Austin Butler is one of them too and it is getting really overwhelming for me I had to write this down not for your sake I know in the beginning I said you guys are interested but I feel like I had to get this off my chest it's gotten out of hand I've seen the Elvis movie for the tenth time. I don't know when this comes out I have seen it. It's only been a few days since I have seen it you know.

Stranger things season four finished, Timothee Chalamet will always be Timothee chalamet, I want the old Rodrick back it's just getting really out of hand. I pledge allegiance to all the men that have taken over my life.

Anyway, fangirling aside. Do you by any chance have some preferably mature or explicit fics where Stiles hasn't really returned from being the Nogitsune, even if it's dead, and everyone is afraid of him, except for Derek. Or an AU where Stiles is feared for one or another reason and again only Derek isn't, but is instead extremely drawn to it. Idk, just something with Stiles being badass or straight up kind of vile, but gets soft when Derek gets under his skin. Sigh, I think I'm confusing myself at this point. But yeah, pretty much that.

SO i told yall i was planning something new for my blog and i actually got this idea not too long ago. I’ve got a new bi-weekly event in the works: let me explain !

✨Musical Monday✨

The concept behind this is fairly simple, i’ll explain below the cut !

Every other Wednesday, I’ll post a little something to remind you that Musical Monday is in the works for the following week. You can then send in either 

-an album you enjoy by any artist 

-or a spotify playlist (that you created or that someone else created (with credits pls!))

and

-a book/show/movie who’s characters you want me to pair the songs with

my job is to then assign the characters from these shows/movies/books to the songs in said playlist/album.

!! (you can specify who you definitely want to see in the list if you’d like but it’s not necessary) !!

Every other Monday (meaning every fortnight), I’ll be posting the characters with the songs as well as a piece of writing underneath explaining why I thought they matched the song. 

The whole point of this is to discover new music, hopefully give you my own recommendations as well, and also just to have fun and spread some love for these characters. I also genuinely adore analysing characters and digging deeper into their story arcs so this’ll be the perfect opportunity for me to share my thoughts with you and hear your own!

✨What shows/movies/books can I request?✨

you can request just about anything however I obviously haven’t watched every show or movie on the planet and I have definitely not read that many books so here are a few ideas to get you all started if you’re at all interested:

if there’s anything else in mind that’s not on this list, that’s 100% ok, you can definitely still send it in. if i haven’t seen/read it and don’t plan on doing so, i’ll just say so (respectfully ofc), or i’ll add it to the list of stuff i have to watch!

✨What type of music can I request?✨

I’m a big fan of indie rock, alt-rock, hard rock, pop, soul, 70s music, honestly you can send in just about anything, I’m always down to listen to new stuff and I’ll mostly be focusing on the lyrics anyway! 

✨Can I request a show/movie/book if it’s been requested before already?✨

honestly there’s hundreds of combinations you could send in. Someone could send in a request for Derry Girls x a specific Harry Styles album, and two months later someone else could request Derry Girls x a David Bowie album, or request How I Met Your Mother x another Harry Styles album. There’s little to no chance you’ll request exactly the same thing as someone else so please don’t hesitate to send in your asks! 

✨Themes?✨

it wouldn’t truly be a mischiefandi event if themes weren’t involved of course! when it comes to seasons, holidays and international days like Valentine’s, Christmas, Halloween, New Year’s Eve, Summer, Spring, Winter, Autumn, or other random prompts, I’ll tell you on the Wednesdays before Musical Monday, notifying you that it’s a special edition (along with additional guidelines if there are any).

do make sure to send in A) a playlist or album + B) a show, or movie, or book (remember: A+B!). I expect I’ll get quite a few requests over the next few months and I won’t have time to go and ask you for more info privately, so please send in both or I’ll have to delete your request.

The character that is the most like me:

Molly - I am an awkward fangirl of Sherlock too

I don’t think I am similar to any but Id love to be as charming as Stiles and as brave as Scott and smart as Lydia

I’m not like any of the characters but I think I relate most to George- I too have many younger siblings.

Castiel and I are both awkward AF and I don’t understand enough pop culture references

Alex and I are both lazy AF

I have a temper that could rival that of Klaus

The characters that deserved better:

All of them deserve the world but I think Mycroft deserves better

Stiles and Derek deserve to be happy together

Nancy deserves better. She should be happy with Ace and not have to deal with her dad lying and the Hudsons

All of the characters deserve to be happy on Supernatural - They deserve the world, Dean , Sam and Castiel

Max should have got to keep his magic and be happy with his siblings

All of the Mikaelsons deserved to live happily - Klaus should have gotten to raise his daughter

Sometimes I loved her and other I hated her but in the end I think she is a strong female character

A ship I’ve never been able to get into/ shouldn’t have happened:

John and Mary - She wasn’t a great wife

Derek and Baeden- I didn’t see any chemistry at all

Nick and Nancy - Even they are endgame in the books, they didn’t have any chemistry on screen

Sam and Ruby - Mostly cause she was really sus from the beginning

Justin and Rosie - He was better with Juliet

Hope and Roman - He used her and that’s horrible on such a young girl

Sherlock and John whether it be friends are lovers - they are supreme

Stiles and Derek- Even though its not canon its the best ship on the show

Patterns: I know I like 99% of the time start with dialog. Because thats how I start them all I write the dialog first.

Favorite ones: I can’t choose. I like all my writings for different things and in different ways. I’m proud of the ones that have more non-dialog. Because thats hard for me to write a lot of most of the time.

But it's because they need Stiles to be the soft, domestic partner to Derek's manliness. Also, Fem!Stiles or always a girl!Stiles is so common because he's a self insert for white fangirls, it makes so much sense
