Sometimes it pops out in my mind a consideration that someone had written in their fic: how no one ever told Danny that Derek Hale wasn't in fact Stiles' cousin Miguel.

I can't properly remember it but it was something like Stiles being confused by the looks Danny was sending him and Derek when they were together and Scott putting forward the idea that Danny doesn't see Stiles with his boyfriend but Stiles kissing his cousin Miguel.

That's all. It's also the very end of the fic and it's an irrelevant chat but my mind decided that it's actually quite important 'cause periodically it reminds me of it.

117 is the best teen wolf episode because you can see younger Derek realizing that Stiles is spouting absolute NONSENSE and goes "alright now how to make him double down" AND STILES DOES EVERY TIME ITS BRILLIANT NO NOTES

It’s cousin Miguel’s scene in 1x09 BUT it goes like that instead :

Danny ask who the weird guy behind them is. Stiles tell him that’s it’s his cousin Miguel. Of course Danny would spot the blood on Derek’s shirt so Stiles tell him to change. The first t-shirt that Derek find is clearly too tight he could never get in it. So Stiles tells him to keep looking. He has always worn T-shirt a little loose, some are big enough for Derek to fit in, they would be tight but it will fit enough. He knew that and that’s why he has told him to try on something else. Then he spotted Dan’y reaction, He knew he could used that.So he told Derek to change again.

Having Derek shirtless was good for his plan to get Danny to hack this email address. But he wasn’t expecting that his little game turned on him. Right now he didn’t know if he had to curse or bless his dad to have put in his drawer his clean Lacrosse jersey. The thing was nearly never clean and even less tidied up correctly. It was like Karma was getting back at him.

Because when they looked again they faced Derek Hale in this Jersey way to loose for Stiles without protections on, but looking way too good on the werewolf. It was a little loose, it was hot. Derek fucking Hale was wearing Stiles’ jersey, with his name on it. And that how Stiles knew he was screwed, he clearly had a thing for the werewolf and it’s seems that he have a strange kink about jersey. Obviously the vision may feed Stiles wet dreams for the rest of his life. Derek smirked, he knew now how to mess with Stiles.

Me thinking Miguel kind of reminds me of Derek Hale in season 1 of Teen Wolf.... and then I had a thought that I was linking them for another reason as well- and then it hit me.

you can say what you want about Derek Hale but at the end of the day, when Stiles introduced him as his cousin Miguel, Derek still "yes and"ed him. A girlie would have written that in a fanfic and people would've said it was out of character. The children (Derek) crave shenanigans and tomfoolery, remember that.

Bro, the noise I just made. I literally cannot stand the fanon for Stiles or Derek. It is so so soooo bad, I think these people literally have only seen the 2 hour sterek compilation. Every day I am like "who fucking told you people that Derek never smiles and has no sense of humor?"

like, there's a period of fics that are usually from the s1-2 period that lean pretty hard on derek's dark, brooding and grumpiness from season 1 but of course he was like that. he was going through The Horrors during season 1. he was grieving laura, he was being retraumatized by kate and dealing with scott, stiles and fucking jackson.

he wasn't one dimensional though. his anger was a mask for all the fear, confusion and trying to be in control.

do you know how many fics i've read where people have stiles think about all the apparent physical violence derek has done to stiles as if he's always slamming him into surfaces? way too many to count and it's incorrect. off the top of my head i can count 3 times derek did something like that to stiles. the shove into the wall and slam into the steering wheel in wolf's bane both of which had a point to them. whether or not it was a good emotional response doesn't matter. what matters is that they were not random or part of derek's personality. he didn't just shove stiles into things every time he saw him. the wall shove in s4 with de-aged derek was a deliberate call back to that very instance in wolf's bane. it was literally coupled with the whole cousin miguel bit.

fandom doesn't like to acknowledge that derek hale isn't particularly violent over the course of the show. he hardly even wins the fights he engages in and he is often forced into fights knowing he cannot win.

our boy mostly ends up on the fucking floor.

derek also does make jokes. dry ones usually he thinks they are hilarious too. he thinks he's a funny guy. his dad joke game must've been off the charts, sorry eli.

he and stiles trade barbs a lot and he thinks stiles is funny. stiles amuses him and he indulges it a few times. he shows off to stiles too like a loser.

he likes to fuck with scott and stiles and enjoys taking the piss out of peter. he genuinely enjoyed fucking with liam in s4.

he's not a luddite either. he has a cellphone and we see him use it. i bet he plays games on it. i bet he plays candy crush and words with friends.

and fanon evolved to strip away that stiles is an asshole. he a violent little freak. he threatens people, he expresses regularly his desire to kill people or have them die, he cares about a very small selection of people in his life and if you're not in that circle than god be with your ass because stiles most definitely won't.

he loves and respects his father but this doesn't mean stiles respects the law which is why i don't know why the law enforcement route was chosen for him. stiles hates rules and boundaries. he chafes at them.

stiles casually helps kira and scott break into evidence to get her cell phone. he tells scott's fbi agent father to fuck himself. he got his dad drunk to get access to case files. he copies people's keys. he's a nosy shit.

the whole show started because stiles was a nosy punk kid who wanted to see a dead body.

but i digress.

fanon stiles had a lot of scott's characteristics projected onto him so they could bash scott. i know there's a lot of people who don't like scott which is fine or whatever but there are so many that do it so they can make a pinata out of a character they've extracted all the good points from and give to their favorite little white boy fav.

stiles "i will beat you with a bat" stilinski is a freaky little shit who will bite you.

do you know how hard i laughed when in s3 stiles and isaac genuinely just like could not stand each other? they couldn't be in the same room with out insulting one another and it was the complete opposite of stiles being oh so sensitive to isaac's past and history than straight up in 3b stiles the epitome of insensitive says to isaac something about still milking it (his abuse). stiles is a dick.

i also genuinely have umbrage with the pack mom trope that stiles gets saddled with. the way fandom has oft feminized stiles leaves a bad taste in my mouth too.

derek and stiles are both assholes and i love them very much.

Prior to that terribleness, I was loving EVERY moment, and I think the show did officially get me on one thing.

I think I ship Sterek now. XD

Like, I was kind of digging it previously, but I wouldn't necessarily have considered myself a Sterek shipper.

That entire sequence with Scott's dad totally changed my mind. XD

Like, maybe I needed de-aged Derek and Stiles interactions to solidify that in my brain.

Which sounds bad, but hear me out.

I understand that Derek isn't actually that much older than Stiles is, so it's not an age difference thing so much as a maturity thing. Like, Derek has just been through SO much, and he started as a somewhat mentor figure to Scott, so I think it was hard for me to see early Stiles and Derek (Seasons 1 and 2) as a thing because I felt like there was too much of a mental disparity between them at the time.

But now Stiles has been through a lot, and Derek has softened more and opened up a lot, and I think I was getting more open to the idea of it in Season 3, so now, to see a de-aged Derek with slightly less trauma and a normal Stiles with slightly more trauma, they feel more like they're on the same level than they ever have, and now I TOTALLY see it.

So...yeah. That's my way over analysis of Sterek, but the point is, now I will happily ship it, because I get what you all mean now in how well their personalities match when they can actually see each other on the same or similar levels lol.

REGARDLESS, however, all of that with Scott's dad was pure gold. The fact that Stiles called Derek his cousin Miguel AGAIN (we love some good Season 1 parallels) and the fact that, despite Stiles trying desperately to get Derek to take the hint, he was refusing and going against Stiles literally just to be a little sh*t, was literally so good.

And the absolute panic in Stiles's face and voice when Rafael started talking in Spanish, followed by the absolute bafflement when Derek responded, and Derek's utter smugness and pride when he bonded with Rafael, much to Stiles's dismay, just SENT me.

And then Stiles made up "Juarez Cinqua Tiago" on the spot and Derek just glared at him, but then he looked at Stiles sooo sassily and pointedly when Rafael asked how you spell that and Stiles responded with "phonetically".

And THEN, because of COURSE he did, Stiles literally pulled the "I didn't lie! I just omitted certain truths." when Derek questioned him because of COURSE he would. Plus, Stiles's "don't move" and then pop back in and genuine surprise at the fact that Derek did not, in fact, move, was just so adorable and I just CAN'T with him.

And I'm sorry, I know it's really bad that Kate has Derek now, and I had my hand over my mouth when she first stepped out into the bedroom, but then I laughed SO hard at the comedic timing with Stiles.

"So if you actually think that Kate's coming to find him--" *sees that Kate has come to find him* "You might be right." *cringes*

Oh Stiles. You will always make everything better. As much as I loved Season 3b, it's nice to have my baby back to his old self. <3

Also as a very quick aside, I know we don't REALLY trust Peter, and I stand by that, but d*mn if he isn't funny as h*ll. And everything about him finally realizing what Scott and Malia were getting at (also, gotta appreciate the fact that he picked up on Malia's lack of knowledge about their relationship and chose not to out it right then and there) was just really great and that was a really cool sequence and I kind of love him despite everything he's put us through and will probably continue to put us through.

Trying to pull Derek away from Kate when he trusts her more than us right now is gonna suck, but if anyone can bring a pack member back, it's the McCall pack!

My OCs/FANFICs I'm Working On

Why am I posting this? Cause lol. It's taken me years to become confident in my writing to actually post what I've been writing so I thought I'd share. I'm writing this in reverse order so it'll be from my most recently conceived to my oldest.

Adela Kunzli - Attack on Titan; Eldian from Paradis and member of the Scouts. Her story is A Love Like This Burns So Deep, and each chapter has a section from the past and the present. The story is rated Explicit for both loving and dark reasons. I came up with her back at the start of the year. Like, I had her one week and went fuck it, I've got to write this lol. She's one of two OCs I have that I have a bunch of What If's/One-Shots for.

Sarah Evans - AEW/Wrestling; Only fic/oc to take place in the real world. Sarah's a wrestler who goes by Diana Spector in the ring. She exists because I became horny for some wrestlers and am not a fan of celeb x you/reader style stories personally, but I like the concept of them, so I came up with this. Originally started out as an Orange Cassidy/OC but is now Preston Vance/OC. My threesome chapter for her is just sitting in my drafts, and nothing else has been written outside of drabbles I keep deleting and re-writing.

Bryn Olasdotter - Teen Wolf; A Valkyrie and member of the McCall Pack. She is in Only The Moon Howls. Originally she was named Brandi Hale and was Derek's cousin and Stiles's love interest before evolving into Brandi Segher and being a weretiger after the episode came out where Derek said he's the only member of his family left. Between the airing of seasons one and two, she became Bryn and a Valkyrie. Bryn initially had a love interest named Miguel, who was a werejaguar, but I scrapped that because as Bryn evolved and the show continued, they didn't make sense together. Bryn has always, since the beginning, had body image issues (though she used to suffer from body dysmorphia and was bulimic) and has a contentious relationship with her mother.

Akiko - Naruto; I have a bunch of Naruto OCs, but she is my most prominent. Originally thought up back in 2003 (?), her name was initially Hikari Jasmin, and she was the great-granddaughter of Ebizo. She became Akiko more recently, and her family has changed, but her personality, looks, and skill set have all stayed the same. I'm currently writing the first chapter of the story, which is a Kankuro x OC and is mostly smut with some plot, lol.

Hal - Saint Seiya/KotZ; Hal stayed the same the most out of all my OCs from the time she was conceived till now, with only three changes happening. Originally her name was Alexandra; she was a Kido kidlet like the other Bronzes and had armour but was not a Saint of Athena but worked for another deity. Her name is now Hal (a nickname), and her father is the British Ambassador to Japan, and she's not a Saint/Knight/Warrior or whatever you want to call it to a deity. Originally she was the love interest for Hyoga, but I switched her over to Ikki once I realized that even though it was opposites attract, Hyoga's non-manga love interests aren't even close in personality to Hal's, and she is better suited for Ikki. And omg, was that the best thing because I think Ikki and Hal are absolutely adorable together, and I just can't with them. They're so wholesome but smutty at the same time, lol.

Amaunet - X-Men/Marvel; My first ever OC was not Amaunet; it was actually a mutant named Reign, but as I began creating other mutants and Marvel characters, she went from being the top to just being there, and Amaunet became the main. Her real name is Jochebed Nassar, and she is from Palestine. I won't go too far into her backstory as I am writing her story up, but where she grew up is extremely important to who she is. Originally her name was Jennifer Howlett, and she was Wolverine's daughter from Egypt, but that didn't last long once I realized her name didn't match; she did stay as a Howlett for a time, but I scrapped that back when I re-worked her to fit into New X-Men Academy X, becoming the person she is now. Jo is my main character in multiple X-Men multiverse fics, such as 'House of M Doesn't Happen,' and Universe 161, aka everything, is canon up until when I stopped reading comics because I hated how cross-overy it became and just made up the rest on my own. Jo is the only one I have drawings of because of her various gear/costumes. She has aerokinesis.
